You will never regret with Armin Artinyan office. I was toffees to Levon Apikyan after my car accident. I honestly was not sure if it was the right choice but I’m glad I called him. He literally came all the way to where I was and brought all docs needed to sing all the Paper work. He made everything easy and simple. Levon is super efficient and you do not have to follow up with him because if there is something needed, he would just call you and even update you with your case. I was amazed with his professionalism. He is always available even after work hours. I tried my best not to bother him as much since he was already ahead of event step with insurances. I did not have to stress. He took my case like if that was his own personal case. If I asked him to send me an email, he makes sure the email is to the point and beyond clear so I understood everything. I did not have to do anything for my case beside signing docs :) . I promise you that you will never go wrong with Levon and he is the right attorney to contact when you are injured in an accident or work. I enjoyed working with Levon. Thank you so much for such great customer service and the greatest experience. Keep up your wonderful work.

had hired this Person to do my Personal Injury Case. After a year of total silence his Office sent me a letter asking me to look for another Attorney, that my Case has a lock of "Evidence". I have a strong feeling: Attorney made a "deal" with the opposite Party and after some time(one Year!) decided to drop my case without even starting it. My Health Issues became worse: I had a big Head Concussion. I had hired an another Attorney and my Case won. Office of Armen Artinyan has very poor paralegal and research skills, there are no analytical abilities been shown as well as very bad Client Presentation. My Case did not moove father then taking Photos of my Head Injury and my Photos been returned to me in the Envelope with misspelled Last Name! My last name "Miller" was spelled with one "L"! He had referred me to a Verdugo Chiropractor's Therapist Office that performed a several sessions of massages that actually where very useless after my Head Injury. I would like to mention full unprofessionalism of this Attorney and His Office as well as his Medical Refferals and I do not suggest to nobody to hire this Attorney.

I used the services of Mr. Chappell for my divorce which had dragged on for a number of years under prior representation. Mr. Chappell handled the matter and got it resolved, once and for all. Subsequent to that, he has handled my estate planning, completing my will and establishing my living trust. Overall, I give Mr. Chappell top ratings and would utilize his services in the future, without hesitation.

unfortunately this is not the lawyer to hire if you need someone to advocate for you in a divorce. lawyers are expensive and court appearances are scary so one hopes to be fully informed and have their options well explained as they go along. I trusted that he was the 'expert' as i have never divorced before. Mr chappell had a habit of making promises to me as his client which i see now he had no business doing. he was continuously unprepared and vague and if it werent for the fact that my judge is very good and fair i would have walked away with only a bill. i am still divorcing and had to fire him and hire a mediator on my own to try to get things moving. perhaps his other fields of speciality are ones he is better at but sadly i would never reccommend him for a divorce.

Jeff is a really good Negotiator, calm in the face of adversity and always trying to reach a resolution. We're in a bit of an ugly lawsuit and have had lots of damage to our house by our soon to be neighbors... one violation at a time. It was great to see that our attorney was compassionate enough to come by our home (twice) to make sure he understood the entire situation, first hand. Sometimes its hard to explain the small details that tell a story, therefore we feel really lucky to have found Jeff! He's able to see the big picture without losing sight of the detail. To top it off, he has a great sense of humor. grateful we found him!

Attorney Cohen was hired to start immediately to try to recover money that my Mother left me as inheritance. I was in a hurry, tight time line. After he was hired he screwed me around for around 7 months . He took notes and we discussed but he would be very busy or traveling. As I found out later he basically kept me at the back of the line and placed a higer priority on the firms favorite clients. I begged him to get the case in court before my father passed away, he didn't. So, I lost $225,000. that now is in the trust. The trust amont gets divided by 50 % , so I lost $113,000. to my sister. When this happened the firm FMBK would not return my money for this mess. Over $7,000. I have fallen into depression and have not recovered any of my Mothers money. Seyfarth Shaw hired him , I guess either didn't check out his past performance or didn't care. I wonder what this says about another Law Firm and their attorneys. He really screwed me over. I have all the e mails between Jeff and myself, proof of what took place. Find another attorney ! I should of sued him for Malpractice. These are my allegatioins

Someone referred me to Attorney Nameth to handle my personal injury case involving my being hit by a drunk driver. Although I was standing on my feet, and was hit twice by the drink, hit and run Driver, Fred Nameth managed to assist the Insurance Company in not paying for the damages I incurred during the accident. Now, I believe the person who referred me to him, may have gone so out of spite. DO NOT HIRE THIS ATTORNEY IF YOU WANT TO WON YOUR LAW SUIT!

I was referred to Fred Nameth by one of his previous clients and we were very happy with his services. My husband and I were in an accident where we were hit from behind. He was prompt in all his communications with me and my husband. He was very concerned about our health, referred us to a wonderful chiropractor and helped us get resolution. I would certainly refer him to others. I would use him again if we were ever in that situation again but I hope that never happen.

I filed a WC claim 4 years ago. Files were lost and there was poor communication with case coordinators. One attorney was on the case for 2 years. Then he left the firm. Another attorney was assigned to the case for 4 months. He left the firm. Then I was assigned a hearing representative for a few months. There were problems with him. I was assigned another attorney. That's where I am now. The current attorney is not following through with my requests. This same attorney flirted with the trial judge and gave the trial judge wrong information about my case. The judge laughed at me. I am fed up with this firm. They are trying force me to settle for an unknown amount with my former employer and not pay me for future medical for all of my injuries.

My husband and I was referred to Glauber Berenson. We hired them thinking they are well organized and would represent us well. They have very poor follow up; they take forever to respond to client's emails and sometimes not respond at att and they barely provide status to clients. They wait for the client to ask them what's happening and what's going to happen next? They leave client hanging and guessing with no clear vision of the status of our case. We regret hiring this law office and wasted 4 years under their representation. We dismissed them. We are now represented by a new attorney and we seemed to be pleased.

I had an appointment with Michael in November 2023, and I'd like to share my experience. Throughout most of my interaction with their representative, I encountered some challenges. When I attempted to schedule an appointment in Los Angeles (where I am based), the representative informed me that they only had a waitlist and suggested the next availability was in San Francisco. Due to the urgency of my immigration issue, I decided to fly to San Francisco to meet with Michael. Initially, I approached the meeting with optimism, though I had some reservations after reading online reviews. However, following the in-person meeting, I found Michael's assistance to be less than satisfactory. Some may describe his approach as profit-focused, which left me feeling like he prioritized fees over addressing my situation. I paid $300 for the consultation, expecting clarity on my immigration concerns. To my disappointment, Michael seemed to rush through our meeting. He provided generic responses, and I felt that my questions remained unanswered. Eventually, he directed me to a private room to discuss pricing with his payment team, quoting a fee of $28,000, not including filing fees. This experience left me feeling dissatisfied, and I regretted my decision. Subsequently, I sought an appointment with another immigration attorney who offered a free consultation. This attorney provided specific answers and guidance on my immigration issues without charging any fees. They went above and beyond to assure me they could assist with my situation. In reflection, it appears that Michael's approach is more business-oriented, and I had concerns about his transparency and client-centric focus. I would advise anyone seeking immigration consultation to explore other options. It's important to research and compare different immigration lawyers to find the one that aligns best with your needs. In my experience, I regretted my choice to work with Michael, and I hope that others can make a more informed decision when seeking legal assistance.

She was my worthless public defender on the outrageous criminal charges against me, and she did absolutely nothing for me but repeatedly lie to me, or ignore my repeated request to talk to me, ignored all the information and details, and witteses I had to prove my innocence. She instead sold me out for her buddy the D. A., and repeatedly pressured me into accepting a horrible plea offer that railroaded me into a prison and completely destroyed my life in every way possible, all over a crime that never even happend at all. She could not care less about the truth, or defending her client's, or about justice at all. She only cares about being lazy, decitful, and committed Wrongful Misconduct in my case. She absolutely Should NOT have any Law License at all, and should do time in a prison so she can feel what so many other clients she betrayed had to endure. She is inept, incompetent, decitful, lazy, and worthless.

It was my experience that Carol Ruth Hamilton lends her Law Degree to a boiler room debt collection operation which questionably violates Federal Debt Collection Practices on a daily basis. Ms. Hamilton filed suit against "others" on an outstanding debt purchased by her affiliate company, ( for which she lends her law degree ) L.A. Commercial Group, LLC, which ultimately obtained a default judgment against the parties in question. Although, I personally did not incur the debt in question, nor was I named in the subsequent suit or judgment, Ms. Hamilton and her cohorts petitioned the Contractors State License Board to suspend / revoke my personal contractors license if the debt against others is not paid. I believe that Ms. Hamilton has full and complete knowledge that I personally had nothing whatsoever to do with the debt in question and willingly choose to involve a retired senior citizen living on social security benefits such as myself into an issue based solely on an antiquated technicality misguided and immoral as it is. Attorneys the caliber of Ms. Carol Ruth Hamilton are in my opinion a disgrace to the legal profession and should not be allowed to use their law degree as a tool by which to extort monies from elderly defenseless individuals like myself......................she should be ashamed, but I'm sure she is not. In my case, she wins, simply because I have no way or means to defend. Bravo Ms. Hamilton !

This law firm is the worst one I have dealt with me in my life! 3 Traffic Tickets I paid over $1100 for the Law Offices of Yeznik Kazandjian to take care of them. First traffic Ticket, they failed to appear and did not take care of it. I received a letter from the DMV to suspend my license. After I took the paperwork to them, they finally took care of it. I ended up receiving Traffic School and had to pay the fine( I was eligible for Traffic School without their help). My second ticket was dismissed only due to the fact I begged them to make sure this was not a repeat of the first one. My last ticket was probably the worst of all. On 4/07/2013 they went into court and dropped by traffic to a no point violation. The problem was they never contacted me to tell me about it. On 5/25/13 I received a collection's letter saying I never paid my fine. I called them to ask them if my ticket was taken care of 4/07/13 why was I never told of this. I was told by the individual who took my case as well Yeznik Kazandjian that my court date was on 6/04/13. I contacted the court and asked if I had a court date on that date and was told that my court date had passed over two months ago. I contacted the firm and told them I did not have court date on 6/04/13 and what was going on with my case. Instead of contacting the court themselves, they kept insisting my court date was on 6/04/13. I took my chances and waited till after 6/04/13. After receiving the run around for over a month, I was finally told that my case was dropped down to no point violation on 6/29/13. Take into consideration I called the firm at least 15 times in the month of June. Keep your money, do not deal with the Law Offices of Yeznik Kazandjian.

Unfortunately I had my worst experience with Ani Avetisyan for my divorce case. She is NOT an experienced attorney as she claims and charges for. Not only I lost all my rights with her, I was being overcharged by Ani Avetisyan; for writing hundred of pages to RFO's (as an essay fees) and charging over 20 hours to prepare a declaration, and talking too much. Yet she couldn't even make the judge hear her. After firing her, she still came to my hearings sat for full day, I believe she doesn't have lots of clients since she can invest all her day siting in the courthouse for a full day for someone (case) who she doesn't even represent. Her office in the Granda Hills was her house garage converted to office. Afterwards I went to LACBA Arbitration with her, And I won the case and confirmed that she did overcharged me with huge amount of $17,552 within two and a half months. She charged me before taking my case; now she's facing a violation of business and Professions code 6148 beside the other violations. She purposely called me to talk on the phone for hours, yet she writes hundred of pages just to charge you. Also she disclosed my private case documents including my settlement to the arbitrator. Still today she didn't refund me my overcharged fees and she's trying to vacate the LACBA's judgment. This shows how unethical attorney she is. It's so sad that I trusted her yet she takes an advantage of my vulnerable situation. Be Very Cautious before you hire her!!

My experience with JLG Lawyers has been awful. My attorney Ashley Silva-Guzman lied to me about the day my case was filed. For reasons I dont know why? She tried to tell me via email that my complaint was "mailed" on December 28, 2023, however, you can not "mail" complaints to the court. They are e-filed by the law firm. So that was clearly a lie. But then I found out that the lawyers for the defendant, Fitness International DBA LA Fitness were "pretending" to represent the other defendant who was never served. More importantly my attorneys JLG Lawyers and their attorneys have been proceeding through my court case despite only one party being served the lawsuit. That isnt even legal. When I began to question I was met with radio silence and now I sit in legal limbo. Below I will post pictures of my attorney lying and trying to gaslight me, as well as the fake and real filing date, and show how they have been proceeding in my lawsuit despite only one party being served. I am writing this review on Mr. Shahabi because he is the Senior Managing Attorney a JLG so all final decisions go through him. Ever since I confronted him as well as Ashley with questions I have yet to get a response. It has been radio silent My case is also public record in Riverside County Superior Court CVRI2400036: Mccrary v Fitness International LLC, If anyone knows how to help me please feel free to lead me in the right direction. I feel taken advantage of. I have any and all documents to validate my and substantiate everything I am saying. And if I was lying I guess they could sue me right? but Im not. So Im not worried about it in the least bit....

Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case.
  3. Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association.
  4. Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, or Google to gauge client satisfaction.
  5. Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field.
  6. Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation.
  7. Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  8. Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  1. Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as contracts, correspondence, legal notices, court papers, or evidence.
  2. Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and involved parties.
  3. List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, or the lawyer's experience.
  4. Financial Information:
If applicable, bring financial documents like pay stubs, tax returns, or bank statements.

Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case.
  6. Personal Identification:
Bring a valid ID for verification purposes.
  7. Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points.
  8. Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations.

How Much Does a Lawyer Cost?

The cost of hiring a lawyer varies widely based on several factors:

  • Fee Structures:
    • Hourly Rate:
Lawyers may charge anywhere from $150 to $500 or more per hour, depending on experience and location.
    • Flat Fee:
For routine legal services like drafting a will or handling an uncontested divorce, lawyers might offer a flat fee.
    • Retainer Fee:
An upfront payment against which the lawyer bills hourly fees.
    • Contingency Fee:
Common in personal injury cases; the lawyer receives a percentage (typically 25% to 40%) of any settlement or award.
    • Monthly Retainer:
For ongoing services, businesses might pay a monthly fee for a set number of hours or services.
  • Factors Affecting Cost:
    • Complexity of the Case:
More complex cases require more time and resources, increasing costs.
    • Lawyer's Experience:
Highly experienced lawyers may charge higher fees.
    • Geographic Location:
Legal fees can vary significantly by region or city.
    • Additional Expenses:
Court filing fees, expert witness fees, travel expenses, and administrative costs may be extra.
  • Estimating Total Costs:
Request a detailed fee agreement outlining all potential costs.
Discuss any additional expenses that may arise during the case.
  • Negotiating Fees:
Some lawyers may be willing to negotiate fees or offer payment plans, especially for clients with financial constraints.
  • Pro Bono Services:
For those who cannot afford legal services, some lawyers or legal aid organizations offer services at reduced rates or for free.
