Josh is extremely knowledgeable, patient and actually cares about his clients. He picked up my case after a disastrous run with another attorney that lead to what could quite possible be considered the worst custodial settlement of all time. He had to restructure my child support case as the previous attorney had knowingly submitted fraudulent numbers on my behalf which had lead to what could have potentially turned into a criminal offense. Even with the catastrophic mishandling of the child support, he found a way to create a highly beneficial situation for myself and my current wife that was fair and equitable for my children. I cannot say this enough, if you need a lawyer who cares and can get things done Mr. Hecht is your guy. Thank you for everything you’ve done for myself and my family.

He is a nasty person and should honestly not work on family issues. He is unprofessional, unresponsive and not interested in giving a professional advice but rather in harming one party as much as he can- that’s his strategy. Every good lawyer would advise his client on all fronts, would inform him on pro and cons but Ira Bierman is a nasty person. He’s not interested in truly helping, not to mention that he is absolutely unresponsive. Knowledge is great, but so is being professional and decent person. Something he hasn’t acquired in all these years he has been practicing law.

She defended me a few years back and she just couldn’t do anything right couldn’t help me I asked her to file motions and nothing just wanted me to cop out and be done with me. She didn’t believe in me when you have an attorney like that you can never win her attitude was nasty and I just couldn’t believe how she even became an attorney. She didn’t allow me to fire her so I ended up getting a new lawyer and got better results.

I was recommended to this lawyer by a close friend. Although Mr. Weiss said he would represent me, he strung me along for over a year and never filed any paperwork. He did contact the apposing party, but never put any work into my case. I will never recommend this attorney. I will, however, warn people if they decide to use him.

i came to him to see if i can renew my green card , he didn't know what he was doing , he started some appeal that he exactly knew that not gonna happen , after 2 yrs and paying him over 13000 dollars he told me it was impossible my appeal was denied / so what i didn't know that after 5 yrs of a crime or be in good moral caracter i could renew my green card.. so i waited untill two weeks later of this deciction and i apply my self guess what i got my green card back with no problem.. and i checked his profile he hasn't working as a lawyer for so long when he started my case he was only 9 month on the field... he told me 8+ yrs and that he was the district attorney in the bronx court prior ... now he put me in collection for $804 dollars after i paid him so much money.....

I had a privilege of contacting Thomas Villecco re some appellate matter. He was very responsive and his responses via phones and emails were prompt and courteous. He explained to me why my appellate case may not stand. His explanation was legally grounded on a controlling case law and thus convincing even to a layperson like myself. I wished he could represent my case but he may have saved my time and money with the right advice.

The worst lawyer I could have ever hired for my divorce appeal. I think The information I gave him for my defense in my divorce case, I believe he then gave to my ex-husband’s attorney and they used the information against me.. It got so bad that I asked him if he was “on my side” he said it’s best they have the information, even after I asked him to wait and not tell them., and then he also gave personal information I shared with him which had nothing to do with the appeal, he even told them that! This has to be illegal because of lawyer- client confidentiality. I’m not sure though. I know I didn’t do well in the appeal at all. I believe it is due to this poor representation; but That’s not what gets to me the most, what gets to me the most is that I felt he was arrogant, self centered, and narcissistic. That’s my thought. I think he must have thought he was going to rub elbows with the big law firms in Manhattan, NY county because that’s where my ex hired his attorney. Seems like to me while he was TRYING to play me they were playing him. Allegedly They left him right in Jherico after they used him. I wouldn’t recommend this lawyer to anyone!!!

My dealings with this attorney were not great. He was hired to represent my interest, advise and advocate for me. Instead he tried to convince me to do the opposite of what I was fighting for and his communication was condescending when I did not see things his way. He was obsessed with his fee and always whining about getting paid when that was never an issue. I cannot recommend him based upon my experience. Seemed to put his own interests ahead of his clients.

I hired her a year ago and she has done almost nothing. I have communicated with her numerous times with nothing of substance done. She has not taken the actions she said she would. She took my retainer and I feel like I was ripped off. I am going to report her to the bar association I am so frustrated at this point. Stay away.
