I cannot say enough good things about Alan. Alan employed my first wife as his paralegal for over 10 years. He then represented her in our divorce. Alan and I have been (and remained) friends for over 20 years. Several times over the years whenever I have had a problem or issue, he has been there for me with great advice and counsel based on his knowledge, diligence, and wealth of experience.
Alan has been such a friend and mentor that I knew just who I needed to call - the guy who represented my first ex wife (and got us a fair and amicable settlement for about $3,000 each). On Christmas Eve 2020, I had to deal with the kidnapping of my children by my second wife. I knew just who to call - that afternoon. Alan was with me every step of the way, getting my kids back and navigating me through a monumentally difficult and contentious divorce - against an impossibly belligerent ex wife and her overly aggressive and inflammatory counsel. He was a source of great legal advice, strategy, and personal support - all debts which I can never repay. I hired Mr. Manheim to represent me in a divorce. He asked for a 5000 retainer that would go toward fees/expenses and said I would get money back if the full retainer was not used. He assured me that if it was an easy case, it would not use up the full retainer. I met with him once and he filed paperwork with the court, but ultimately my husband and I decided not go through with a divorce, so very little "work" was done on his part. I was never provided with a billing statement showing what work was done and never received any money back after repeated requests. He would tell me I was due money back and even said he put a check in the mail, but I never received it and then he stopped returning my calls. I feel like I got scammed.

In my opinion she took my case based on the money she could make and who the litigious opposing council was. She first didn’t want to take my case but when I came back 6 to 8 months later, she heard who the opposing council was and she had a change of heart. I don’t feel she represented my interests, just hers. I was in the middle of an emotional divorce and didn’t have the wherewithal to really evaluate what was happening.

Absolutely horrible attorney! Does not have his laws down! He was y brothers pc when our mother died, he lies, breaks laws, refuses to answer questions or turn over legal paperwork that could land him in jail & you being sued! I wouldn’t use him for my dogs estate let alone something huge! Speaking to him, he acts as if he hasn’t a clue what’s going on!! When you see an “attorney “ representing this many fields as he does ask yourself is this who I want to handle my estate or is this who I want as a tax lawyer or doing my business affairs? I had to give him 1 star just to write a review but if I could have gave him a 0 I would had!

I had a shoplifting charge and ended up moving to a different state and hired him to handle it back in Georgia. His prices are definitely reasonable, biggest downside was that he failed to show up to court for me and I had to find that out through the court and hurry up to get it resolved. My mother also had to get involved because he tried to deny that he was paid even though the evidence was in the emails. Overall, I guess you get what you pay for.

I had this lawyer as a public defender on a very serious case n which a female lied on me bc I welding give her drugs. No evidence and she didn't even appear in court but he had me plead guilty to the third count bc I didn't know any better. No to this case I'm trying to fight this charge from 1993 bc it still haunts. I was incarcerated on another charge at the time and was doing time so I did not know that the girl did not show up for trial until after I got a visit from my family and they asked me y did I plead guilty. He never did any investigating nor did he try to help me n any way. I only seen him at the time of court. I wish I knew then what I know now. I have so much anger n me for this bc it has ruined my life bc of the nature of the charge. Ten years ago if I would've found him and it wouldn't have been a pretty site bc I would b n jail for life. I'm a changed man now bc of my kids but I still think he owes me sum help by trying to get me back in appeallant court.

My experience with Keith was great. He was very informative every step of the way and i would recommend him to anyone. I was most impressed with the actual trial and just how prepared he was and how there was no stone left unturned. He took the time and researched every detail of my case. My ex took my Son to Illinois on an order written by a Commissioner in Bakersfield. She wanted a $50 consult fee. I paid $25 in cash, and wrote a check for the other $25. After getting paid and putting out her cigarette, she told me, "I can't help you, take it up in Illinois." That was twenty years ago, without a visitation order, I HAVEN'T SEEN HIM SINCE. I PUT A STOP PAYMENT ON THE CHECK. JUSTICE?

Cynthia yelled at me while explaining a visitation order. I could not for the life of me understand the judges order and during a phone call she yelled at me while explaining it. She l apologized after - said she had a long day, but the experience rubbed me the wrong way. Her staff was great and always gave our family updated through email and phone calls.

Considering hiring this attorney , but her prices are doubled compared to a few other local offices…so do some research beforehand. Her personality was great and I found some helpfulness in the advice I was given. After my consult I spoke with a friend who hired her as her attorney to gain insight on what it’ll be like working with her. she said lots things would always pop up because of personal events happening in Cynthias life. Which caused delay with her case. She also mentioned her office manager just wasn’t the best to work with and always made her feel stupid for asking about her case or having any questions at all. She ended up hiring someone different.. I will mention.. I didn’t like how her office manager spoke with me when I scheduled my consult either. So extremely rude with snide comments. When I called back to see how I could pay, I was greeted with a different office staff who seemed more polite and helpful to my concerns for payment! I spoke with this lady for about 10 minutes. If I remember correctly her name was Marlene! If you call this attorneys office just make sure to speak with her! Extremely helpful!! Thought I’d leave a more recent review since I struggled to find one. Still debating hiring Cynthia. Will leave an updated review when I have decided.

Hired Gina for custody modification but from the beginning she made false promises and mistakes .
I felt misinformed and manipulated into a prolong court process which has financially devasted me and my young kids. My kids are still being abused but now we are even poorer than before thanks to Gina and her office. I am absolutely heartbroken and suffering but instead of admitting her defeat and faults she threatened me with a lawsuit and collections. Please choose someone else as your attorney so you don't suffer like us.

I hired her in Feb 2018 and from the beginning I felt she was a good lawyer and responded to me quickly. Hopefully when it got to working on a settlement agreement for parenting time , she was all for my exhusband having 1/2 of the parenting time in TWO DIFFERENT COUNTIES! I had to find another lawyer that was gonig to take my side all the way to the courtroom!

After researching companies that were successful in cases against HOA's I hired this firm 5 years ago. I asked if they could win and was told yes. February 2023 we had to agree to a settlement. In that 5 years we changed lawyers 5 times. I would call to find out what was happening and was always told that they were waiting on the HOA attorney and that's just the way this worked. I ended up paying this attorney more than if I had just paid the HOA fine. There is no real update from them, unless you call their monthly bill an update. The last attorney assigned did manage to get a settlement worked out. We took it because I was not going to drag this out another 5 years and 5 different attorneys.

This is a poor start. After speaking with the staff and an attorney with the John Miller and Associates Law Firm...
I paid the non-refundable fee, agreed to the initial date and time set by the staff and called 1 hour before the appointed time to confirm the appointment.
After the appointed time and 15 min before the close of business, I called the office and was informed that the attorney was not going to make the meeting.
Summary: the attorney did not display the expected professionalism and courtesy to take the time to call to me, and provide an apology and reschedule the meeting.
This is definitely a teachable moment for John Miller and his Associates...provide timely information to the clients and be more considerate of our time.

This lawyer strictly follows the rules and doesn't go the extra mile to assist you. She makes big promises but fails to deliver. She couldn't make time for an important interview, even though she knew about it months in advance. Instead, she said she'd listen in by phone but didn't even bother to do that. As expected, the interview didn't go well, and I had to pay thousands more to fix the mistakes she made. Save your money and avoid this lawyer; she's only in it for the money and lacks the emotional intelligence needed for the job.

Ms. Fielder lacks integrity and that is Key for any Lawyer when dealing with people's family, personal well being etc. I had a horrible experience with her after paying her for services. Poor communication with keeping me informed. Never returned phone calls/emails. Therefore when we arrived for court she couldnt even answer the judges questions!It was embarrasing!Not to mention she was late and forgot to file documents with the court! I paid a large amount of money as a retainer fee and she took advantage of my personal situation. Im not sure how much experience this woman has but Id say she could use about 20 more years and a few classes in humility.. DO NOT HIRE HER. When I decided to hire her I based my decision on the reviews on this site which I now know were probaly wirtten by Carrie Fiedler herself. I would hate for anyone else hoping for a good attorney to make the same mistake I did. TRUST ME! KEEP LOOKING!

Stephen Steeler is a crook ! He made already challenging and emotionally charged situation even worse. He repeatedly prioritized his own financial gain over the best interests of the clients, providing subpar legal advice, failing to communicate effectively, and dragging out the legal process unnecessarily. I repeat do not hire this woman she’s a CROOK!!!! She will take your money and do absolutely nothing for your case. She is lazy all she’s worried about is payments. She done absolutely nothing for my son’s case all she did was gather evidence from the DA she has no clue of what she’s doing. She needs to be reported to the bar association. All she had to do was get a video and she couldn’t even do that. She will not have your back and gets an attitude when you call her or ask questions. I never hated someone more than I hate this lady she’s a con artist. Do not give her your money.

I hired Steele Law to handle my husband's estate. It has been a terrible experience. They were slow to file necessary paperwork. They were unresponsive. I also received incorrect information from at least 2 of their employees. Even. The attorney whose name is on the marquis did not call when she said she would. Incompetent and unprofessional.

I would definitely recommend the Ivans. They are very hardworking and compassionate lawyers. First of all, they are willing to work with you on a payment plan. I did NOT find any other lawyers that were kind enough to do so. I commend the Ivans for giving us working class people the opportunity to have a defense lawyer. If it wasn't for the Ivan's we would've had to use the public defender. The case isn't over yet, but I do know that they have worked really hard for us and I appreciate their assistance. Mr. Berry was hired as CoCouncil due to his track history and relationships in Cobb County. He absolutely came through. I had 9 charges against me including felony Aggravated Assault and DUI. All charges were dismissed and Mr. Berry negotiated plea to a simple traffic charge.
It is true that you never really win a DUI, due to the all of the costs associated with winning, but Mr. Berry made it as painless as possible.

I found out about Jimmy Berry after using another attorney first. Jimmy Berry got results!!! He has an outstanding reputation, resume and over 40 years of experience and everyone wants him to be their lawyer. When he goes into the court, you can see the respect everybody gives him and I felt confident and proud that he was my lawyer. When he met with me, he listened and was very kind. Considering all the high profile trials he has had, and all of his experience, I was surprised that his fees were reasonable. Now I see why he is so busy! Thank you Mr. Berry. YOU ARE AWESOME.

I hired Alex for my federal case. I was completely scared of the unknown. This lawyer was able to comfortably explain the case information and all that was included in the indictment. He was able to put me at ease being completely honest about what the outcome could be, but what he expected to happen. It turned out to be better then we all thought. He was very skilled he knew the judge, they worked together on other cases before. Although this lawyer isn't the best communicator you can be sure that he is getting the job done for your highest wellbeing and satisfaction. His price was pretty high but it was well worth it.

Complete waste of time and money. I went after thousands of dollars of arrears and an increase of child support from the non custodial parent who has completely abandoned his children. He did not even address the arrears amount in court, so I was awarded nothing in that regard. I was awarded an increase of $21 a month. The final court hearing was in January and he didn't have enough common decency or professionalism to provide me with a final copy of the new order. Not to mention he called me a b*tch and screamed at me to shut up. Not recommended.

I have known Mr Konke at Atlanta Law Associates for several years, he is knowledgeable and expert in his field. I have had him represent me during my first wifes divorceandwill be using him on my second, he helpedme gain custody with my 2 boys ages 2 and 6 at the time. The divorce he will be representing me on this next time will not be a custody issue. He's a great guy, and I recommend him to people all the time.

I would expect that everybody's experiences would be different, but Mr. Konke was attentive, empathic and understood my perspective. He was extremely responsive and didn't leave me hanging. He has very good working relationship with the court personnel and the judges. Overall, he got me results that I desired without having me break the bank.

Mr. Dupee could be the poster boy for late night comedy hours and why not to hire a lawyer. He assured me that he had handled numerous cases similar to mine, that although he was expensive he was experienced and could get it settled quickly holding the cost down. It started like that and I was very pleased. Until he continued to prolong the matter with a series of mistakes including filing poorly written documents, missing filing dates by not following court instructions (he knew better than the judge), accepting incorrect information from opposing attorney, etc. His aggressive personality was an asset until it changed to arrogance. He seemed to have no respect for his coworkers or his colleagues (the mistakes were always their fault), the court or for me, his client. I was charged for work not done and work that had to be redone because of errors and on occasion, double charged for the same work. I discovered that he was withholding information and manipulating facts that would have resolved the issue immediately. It is unfortunate that he chose to prolong the case for his benefit and financial gain rather than fulfill his obligation and assurances to me. I would suggest that anyone looking for an attorney keep looking. Find someone trustworthy!!

I contacted Mr. Harris after a Hit and Run accident that left me severely injured. He was able to deal not only with the Police Department getting all of the information (available and some that was hidden) that was needed for my case and all of insurance companies, lawyers, etc.
He made the process during my recovery from surgery bearable and easy for me by being considerate, professional and always available.
Mr. Harris went over and above his responsibilities as my attorney to make sure that every option was available to me.
I hope that I would never need to , but I would hire him again in an instant.

My mom paid James' law office to carry out the process of applying for my brother's permanent legal residency, Long story short, they stopped answering calls and when my mom went to the office, it was closed with a notice to slide any paperwork under the door. Just ridiculous. The assistants were also incompetent. We lost two thousand dollars to these thieves. Do not do business with them. Find a better law office with better reviews. Save yourself the headaches and the money.

Words cannot describe the value and comfort that I have received from hiring Jere Smith. I have come to him many times for help with varying things, some personal, some business related. We required a real estate attorney not attached to a firm for a personal damages matter since we work professionally with most firms in the area and there would be a COI if we used one of the firms. The Law Offices of Jere C. Smith, LLC was recommended to us. Before engaging The Law Offices of Jere C. Smith, LLC, we communicated in writing that the case was marginal due to damages less than $10,000, and that we needed their advice if this was worth pursuing at all. We compiled all discovery and exhibits in an organized way for The Law Offices of Jere C. Smith, LLC to expediently decide if this was worth pursuing. The Law Offices of Jere C. Smith, LLC encouraged us to move forward with pushing the case. On their council, we hired The Law Offices of Jere C. Smith, LLC and agreed to move forward that we had a reasonable chance to succeed. The Law Offices of Jere C. Smith, LLC communicated poorly through this matter, including "not receiving" an email which created confusion, requiring multiple days to reply to the Defendant's Attorney on a simple matter, and by accidentally sending confidential information from another client to the Defendant's Attorney. Ultimately, this case concluded with a dead end. The Law Offices of Jere C. Smith, LLC provided no constructive benefit in our case, since from the beginning we had communicated to them in writing that the case was marginal, yet in writing they advised us to proceed. Our invoice from The Law Offices of Jere C. Smith, LLC was an amount equal to half our total damages. The invoice included time that they spent talking with us before we hired them, and the invoice included exorbitant durations of time spent for email communication: over 7 hours spent on 3 email chains. We communicated a request to change the invoice due to these unreasonable charges. The Law Offices of Jere C. Smith, LLC denied changing the invoice and threatened to pursue legal action against us if we didn't pay the invoice in full. We paid the invoice in full. We do not recommend using The Law Offices of Jere C. Smith, LLC under any circumstances.

My brother and I retained Atty Separk to revise a will and power of attorney documents. Neither my brother nor I had prior experience with Atty Separk and contacted him based on a referral from an attorney in Florida who specialized in legal matters relevant to senior citizens. My brother and I found Atty Separk's manner to be considerate, his communication clear, and his attitude most respectful. His services were extremely helpful, and I would characterize our overall experience with Atty Separk as outstanding.

I used Separk two or three times for a will, advice, and a civil matter. He was ok but always communicated clearly that you were to listen and be quiet, he knew what was best for you, not you. He is very arrogant and clearly communicates that he is superior to you, the client. I became involved in a criminal matter and went to him for advice, whereupon he raised his voice and told me I should know better than to come to him for advice on a legal matter such as this. He was very nasty and mean spirited, which shocked me, because I had an established relationship with him. I called him a few days later to ask for an explanation for his behavior, and he refused to speak with me.
