I am honored to express my gratitude, appreciation, and experience with Mr. David Cohen and his team. About a year or 2 ago, a family friend of mine went through a very difficult period. We were fortunate enough to be referred to Mr. Cohen and have him represent my friend during a helpless time.
As a graduating law student, I want to share my experience with Mr. Cohen as I sat along side my family friend throughout the proceedings. I could not have gained a better insight into the real life practice of a criminal defense attorney. From start to finish, Mr. Cohen was persistent and fought for his client - providing brilliant legal strategies and responses to anticipated opposing counsel arguments.
As a student, law school serves a (great) purpose - learning the law. But real life work is a different adventure altogther. Observing Mr. Cohen practice and successfully represent someone so dear to me was nothing short of inspirational.
The firm went above and beyond what could have been expected from legal counsel. They were prompt, available at all times, and provided unwavering support which instilled a very much needed sense of confidence.
The outcome would not have been possible without Mr. Cohen and his team. I am sure of it. And so this expression of gratitude is just a minor token of our appreciation.

I don’t think I could ever put into words the kindness, sympathy, intellect and professionalism that these attorneys showed to myself and my family. Cory Forman and David Cohen were literally life-savers. To give a brief background, my mother was stuck in Europe after she mistakenly traveled on an expired permanent resident card. I thought that she would be stuck for months alone in the midst of a broken immigration system, with delay after delay to her documents. Cory and David somehow knew exactly how to solve this situation and immediately made all the calls necessary, spoke to the right people, filed the right things and pulled off nothing short of a miracle. My mom was back home safe and sound on American soil within days. She was treated with the care and attention by this entire firm as if it were their own mother stuck in some foreign country. Safe to say, there is no where else I will go for all immigration concerns from here on out. 5 stars is not nearly enough for the great job these guys did. A true class act all around, we are forever indebted to them.

I hired Ali for my father who was arrested at the airport for a warrant that was from another state. We were on our way to Europe when my father was pulled out of the plane. We had no idea what the warrant was about, but my father was arrested and we were told by a legal aid lawyer that we had to wait for my father to be picked up by the agents from Florida. They told us it can take 2 to 3 weeks. We hired Ali the same day and we could not believe what he did. Ali managed to work out an arrangement with the judge and prosecutors and they agreed to release my father with low bail and to turn himself to Florida on his own. My father got out the same day and we returned to Florida to clear up this mess. I could not be more appreciative for what Ali has done to our family, he picked up our calls, responded to our concerns, and just went far and beyond until my father was out. God bless him

All I have to say is trust the process! & Ms Amy! I was so lost and depressed a year ago when they removed my daughter from my custody. The worst feeling any mother could feel went through every inch of my body! God sent me this attorney and all I kept telling her was bring my daughter home PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! No matter how bad my anger, attitude, energy was Ms. Amy made sure to stand by me and work with me! There is not many attorneys out there to just put so much time and energy into 1 case like she did! highly recommended. I have been included in a number of class action lawsuits with Leeds. First thing- they have an lovely secretary who picks up the phone right away. In an age of tapping on numbers to get to different deptartments, this just makes life easier. Intimidating was the word that came to mind before conversing with Michael. Once I could discuss it with Michael, all of my fear disappeared. He is smart and explained to me most simply yet without being condescending. He went through each potential move and possible outcome depending on which activity I chose with his guidance. He broke down what my case could be worth through a process where he asked me some questions and then answered them on the spot. Michael emailed me often, more than an attorney at his level would typically do. He also listened. He was neither dismissive nor rude throughout my experience with him or his firm. I am happy I chose their firm and moved out of the way for them to handle something that seemed impossible, yet here we are. If clients want to be given the runaround and pushed to the back, you should not reach out to this firm. Once Michael worked his magic, it no longer mattered if we went to court and won, went to court and lost, or settled because the weight lifted off my body from my experience was priceless. However, if you want an honest and educated opinion from expert trial attorneys, well, in that case, you should contact Michael and his team. Finally, no amount of money could ever replace what Michael and his firm did for me emotionally. My case is in the process of settling, and I know that Michael and his team will be compensated for doing precisely what they said they would, but I will always be in their debt.
