I had a unique case where my belongings were removed from my apt and disposed of. Fanny Mae forclosed on my Landlord and while I was out of town, an extremely arrogant Realtor went in two weeks before I had to be out and in one day trashes most of my belongings. Without so much as a phone call and when confronted without remorse. Every attorney I called didn't seem interested or sympathetic I guess they figured there wasn't enough in it for them to be bothered. And then there's Mark A Goodman! Ironically the last name says it all. When I told Mark my situation, He was not only sympathetic but he seemed genuinely interested in correcting the injustice that I had been going through. Trying to recoup monies for used belongings that any Records or receipts were thrown out along with the items seemed like quite a daunting task. He explained everything in detail every decision was made by me with Mark's guidance and professional opinions. Arming me with the information I needed to make good sound decisions. Without having to go to court we got what we were after. we were awarded a fair settlement. Mark A Goodman bravely marched... where other attorneys fear to tread.

If you have been accused of something please do yourself a favor and at least have a consultation with Tom. It is overwhelming to go through this experience, particularly when you have never been accused of something in the past. From the first second I sat down with Tom, it was obvious that he truly cared about me, and I felt that I had an ally in my fight. For the rest of my life, I will never forget Tom and the compassion he showed me. He inspires me and restores my faith in humanity. I have never experienced such kindness and generosity from a stranger before in my entire life. I only wish I could repay him in some way. This review is the least that I could do. We recently updated our estate documents with Laury Macauley, Esq. We have had trusts for over four decades and have worked with a number of attorneys over the years. After moving to Reno Nevada, a community property state, we needed an update. We contacted a number of estate attorneys. Almost all had 60+ page boiler plate trust templates into which they inserted relevant individualized information but most of these bloated documents had information that does not and never will be relevant to us. Such large trusts are cumbersome and inefficient since during settlement, parties must read everything to be sure something important is not missed. We wanted a more personalized straightforward trust which eliminated all the bloat, unnecessary legal jargon, generation skipping wording, minor dependents, dependent trusts, etc. etc.
Laury agreed to work with us to accomplish what we wanted…estate documents relevant to our situation written in a straightforward manner. In the end our very comprehensive trust is 22 pages long. We found her to be bright, helpful, knowledgeable and ethical. She was among a very few lawyers willing to help us create what WE wanted rather than something off the shelf. This took extra time so the process did extend over 2 months but we are extremely pleased. We would definitely recommend Ms. Macauley without reservation to others.

Family Law is full of "lawyers". Finding the right one can be more then a challenge. Don't look any further then Jamie.
I had a very complicated divorce due to the other party, despite every effort on the other parties part to drag out and fight to get more than was fair at every step, the process was smooth with Jamie, and in almost every instance of the legal games the other lawyer played, things always went in my favor.
As a father/male you almost always judged the wrongdoer, and kids usually end up with mom. When I saw my kids were suffering we got one of the best children's/teen Psychiatrists in Reno to see my youngest who was having exception trouble. Jame knew who to turn to at every step to help my girls.
In my case the kids wanted to live with me, and that's just what happened.
Divorces can be very difficult or they can be nice and smooth, but in my case, what was both difficult, was also smooth with Jamie. I had very difficult divorce, yet it was an absolutely smooth process. In the end we did better then what we had initially offered at the onset of the proceedings.

I was in a very bad vehicular accident at the beginning of this year. Steven, Laura, and Greg made an extremely difficult and stressful situation so much better than it would have been if I had tried to handle it on my own. I have nothing but praise for Steven and his staff! From day 1 When I met with his wife in his office, to the final days getting an awesome Settlement Check! My case was bazar in the least, I was run down by a woman who got impatient in a Costco parking lot. I was pushing my cart to the truck when all of a sudden I was on the ground! This woman who I never saw even after she ran me down was so impatient she just couldn't wait those extra seconds for me to be out of her way She sped up to get around me and misjudged and down I went. My daughter was in shock screaming at this woman "you ran my dad over" Soon I was ambulanced to the Hosp and x-rays were taken of my left foot. 6 broken bones 4 on top and both sides of my Ankle. The date when this happened was Dec 19th right before Christmas!! I spent the next 30 days laid up on my daughters couch and couldn't get up at all.. The blood rushing to my foot was excruciating PAIN!!! So after returning back to San Diego I kept in constant contact with Steven. We spoke on the phone a few times and he explained my options as we moved forward. For months medical bills came in and The staff was right on top of the billing to negotiate the best cost for my services rendered. You wont believe the talent of this staff as the medical bill total went from $27,000 down to $2700!! What!! I couldn't believe it! Laura Klearman, Stevens wife was the miracle worker behind this process! She handles all the fine details involved that I wouldn't of had a clue were to start! So as time went on and healing is so slow I'm 69 years old and healing takes time. To this day 8 1/2 months later, I'm still a bit sore. Next up on the arsenal of experts was Greg, the man who does your bidding with the Insurance Companies. His expertise got me a negotiated awesome settlement amount after going back and forth with an adjuster who was resisting a descent fair settlement. Actually an adjuster is just the middle man who is given an amount from his boss to negotiate from. So Greg battled on until a very fair settlement figure was reached I agreed to the amount and before you know it I had my money in the mail!! I was very pleased at the outcome of my case. Luckily I had no surgery and I had a powerful VIDEO of the whole thing from Costco cameras in the parkin lot Everyone who say it couldn't believe what they saw! I still am in shock when i watch it! So no disputing the facts. If the settlement figure was too low to my satisfaction then the next step would have been litigation. This is where Steven steps in. He's had many years of court time settling cases for the best money possible! This is why his firm is rated so high in the search engines. All in all I'm happy I chose his Firm to represent me!! I would do it again in a heartbeat!!Thanks Steven, Laura , Greg and Staff who had a hand in my case Couldnt have done this without you!!

There were 16 five-star reviews when I last checked, and I am number 17 to also give her a 5-star review. That tells you something. Tehan knows the law and is efficient in representing her client(s). She displays all those great qualities described in the other reviews and more. I know she was totally committed to me and my case in the way that she communicated regularly and personally with me. Still, she is a no-nonsense lawyer who will give you homework and communicate with the court to let you know the status of your case. She explains court postings from eflex. My Ex threatened to bankrupt me. Tehan used the law to protect me. It wasn't painless, but what was done, she did in a way to provide the best outcome for me and my financial stability. She advocated fiercely on my behalf. This may sound corny, but Tehan is a hero of mine. I am very grateful to have had Tehan Slocum as my counsel. You will be glad also! Tehan knows the law and is efficient in representing her client(s). She displays all those great qualities described in the other reviews and more. I know she was totally committed to me and my case in the way that she communicated regularly and personally with me. Still, she is a no-nonsense lawyer who will give you homework and communicate with the court to let you know the status of your case. She explains court postings from eflex. My Ex threatened to bankrupt me. Tehan used the law to protect me. It wasn't painless, but what was done, she did in a way to provide the best outcome for me and my financial stability. Adriana was fantastic. I fired my previous lawyer who did nothing on my auto accident claim and never updated me. Adriana kept me informed every week on the status of my claim and fought hard to get my previous attorney to lower his fees (he tried to get a big fee for doing nothing. She even remained calm when he cussed her out). She got my auto insurance to pay me more money for my totaled car beyond what they originally paid me. She was pleasant and easy to talk to and a darn hard worker. Highly recommend her to anyone. If I ever need a lawyer again I will hire Adriana. Thanks Adriana for doing a great job on my claim.
