I am a mom who found herself unexpectedly at the courthouse filing an emergency petition for custody after my estranged husband refused to return our children after their scheduled visit with him. I found myself in immediate need of representation. Z Family Law came highly recommended, and now I know why! They MADE time for me, and at the very last minute! We had an hour to prepare before we went before the judge, but you would have never known. Inna Loring, the attorney with the practice who represented me, handled the courtroom like she had had weeks to prepare! And we were ultimately successful with a very fair verdict from the judge. My babies are back in my arms, and now I have a court order that protects them from being wrongfully taken from me again. Please, read the review below about the divorce.
A family member of mine reached out to this “attorney “ for bankruptcy filing. He asked for $3,000 retainer for filing for bankruptcy and was hired in April. He recommended to file in October.
He was presented with all requested documents, and although having clear email trail, he kept requesting the same documents over and over again to pump the bill.
Out of the blue in September he starts blasting emails for over 8 hours and declining to represent the client nor return the money, claiming he has exhausted the retainer. Mind you not one statement has been presented between April and September.
This is extremely unprofessional, shady and brutal tactic taking advantage of people in extreme need.
If you are considering hiring this person, please, keep on looking for more professional, knowledgeable and honest individual.

Mr. Rosenthal is truly a pursuer of the truth. He worked tirelessly on our case for over 3 years. Back and forth between him and the courts with all the documentation, he never missed a date or deadline. He always kept us updated to what was going on with the case. As well he was upfront and honest with us in that he would do his best and he felt we had a strong case.
The district court ruled against us and we appealed to circuit court, which reversed, and got an excellent outcome after it was sent back to district court for trial. Â In my opinion it was his persistence and knowledge that brought about results.

I hired Alex to help me divorce my spouse. Unlike others, he listened to my story with respect which I appreciated. He was very knowledgeable regarding the matter and explained things very clearly.
He helped bring a settlement that made this process quick, easy, at low cost, and convenient for both parties involved. I was surprised at how quick this process was.

Mr. Mercer always made me feel as though my case was a priority and he handled each and every obstacle we came across head on and with outstanding professionalism and just fine attorney work. I ended up getting my conviction turned into a probation before judgement (which negates the conviction) and a few months later the probation before judgment was expunged so not only was the conviction erased its now off my record completely.
