Greg is the best lawyer I have ever worked with.
My collections case was difficult. The opposing party used all means at their disposal to make it impossible to collect. First by attempting to ignore me, then by moving money in accounts, and finally by making promises of settlement then violating their written promises.

It's amazing what a google search can do. Ellen represented me for my disability retirement hearing with the City and County of SF. I would've been lost without her. I had the misfortune of running head on into a tractor in the dark at night who was as driving on the wrong side of a country roadway without proper lighting, creating a hazard. My head slammed into the windshield and I haven't felt the same since.Â
The tractor operator denied liability, said that other motorists went around him, the accident was my fault.Â
The idiot nearly killed me.
My lawyer Nate James and his awesome case manager, contacted their insurance carrier with a demand for $250,000 before we filed the lawsuit.Â
The insurance company offered me $750. I'm posting their offer so you can see it for yourself.
Nate and his team went to work and the job they did was phenomenal. They found me the medical care I needed. Because I was without health insurance for a long time, I never really treated, and suffered in silence.
To make it more complicated, I moved from Brentwood California up to Tacoma Washington. I started a family. I was working as a manager. To the outside world I looked fine, but I wasn't.
God bless Nate's legal team. They found me doctors to treat my brain and back injuries. They got the case ready for trial. They even animated the tractor/El Camino collision. They had faith in me and my injuries and my case and they put in thousands of dollars to make it viable
One month before trial the insurance company paid me $500,000.00
That's a whole lot better than $750.

It's never easy to write about or disclose personal information involving Family Law, but I honestly found a good lawyer that performed her work exceptionally, so I feel I should let people know. I screened a lot of attorney's and discussed my personal situation. It wasn't easy re-living the ordeal. I quickly realized that the law is complicated and a lot of lawyers can focus in on one particular area and neglect the others. Other lawyers can hit the panic button and lead you to think that the situation is dire. I was looking for sound advice about my situation according to my legal options. And I found it in Susanne. She really listened and explained the law well. I met with her several times, in her convenient downtown location. I remember I had emailed her a bunch of questions, she brought those with answers to our consultation. Her professionalism and understanding of the law was a huge sigh of relief. I felt better knowing my options and what can and can't be done according to the law. Navigating the courts, can be daunting but she knows exactly how to do it. She's also an excellent communicator, always available and responsive. Joanna helped salvage a miracle in my case despite really terrible facts. I appreciate that she has the foresight to think about multiple case-relevant future developments. She works hard and prepares for all these contingencies. Her pleasant and welcoming demeanor makes it easy to talk to her, even when I need to share embarrassing information.
I almost snatched defeat from the jaws of victory by having a problem in rehab. Joanna helped me to recover from this too. Her combination of being both savvy and friendly was crucial to producing a good result with the rehab administrators. I am certain I would be in a much worse position if I had tried to interface with them on my own. I credit Joanna for recognizing the importance for my case of helping me with those interactions, and not just what happens in court.

Joanna Sheridan saved my life.
I was arrested on December 14, 2006 and charged with four felony counts involved in a
$ 250,000.00 fraud case. My case struggled for more than 7 1/2 years with frequent delays and lack of of requested discovery from the D.A. until my first attorney became so ill that he could not continue working on my case.
At the time that Joanna Sheridan and her firm became my attorney I had lived with the daily tension, anxiety, and fear that my fate might be that I would die in prison for a crime that I did not commit.
I sincerely felt that if I were to go to prison to have to survive the horror of the battlefield of daily prison life at my age of 67 years old that I would not live. During my early career I had been employed as a nurse within a California State maximum security prison and had witnessed the unpredictable trauma and psychotic behavior with occurs daily within the prison walls. I realized that I too might also become another prison fatality.
Joanna Sheridan and her extremely competent legal team worked tirelessly countless hours during their work days, their evenings. weekends, and holidays preparing my case for trial.
My trial was scheduled to begin Oct. 6, 2015 which was 8 years 10 months after my arrest date. Joanna Sherida phoned me on
Oct. 5, 2015 at 4:34 P.M. and informed me that the District Attorney had DISMISSED all charges against me.
The Miracle that Joanna and her team created for me allowed me to go back in time to the day befor I was arrested, December 13, 2006, which incidently was my birthday, and start my life as a free person again.
