I highly recommend Alexis Lynch and her law office. Alexis worked efficiently and effectively while also speaking honestly and respectfully. Alexis helped my husband and I with our case for limited conservatorship of our daughter, an adult with special needs. Because our daughter is high functioning, her case became unexpectedly complicated. Alexis always kept us informed promptly and came up with a plan, helping us request an extension and gather additional information. Alexis's expertise and outstanding effort, including writing a detailed statement for us and her presentation to the judge at our hearing, made all the difference in the judge's decision to grant our limited conservatorship. Without her assistance we believe we would not have the same outcome. Alexis's fees are reasonable compared to others doing the same work, especially considering our case took extra time. If I could give more than 5 stars I would, as I cannot recommend Alexis highly enough.

He treated me as less than human, this is a disrespectful person who thinks his intellect makes him better than the rest of us. Well sir, I am of the 98th percentile intellectually. But all attorneys out there think about what u r writing and what the state of the person is who opens this email Does this take her or him over the edge For me..I just didn’t want to live as it was the last horrific ! Mark on a horrible situation and as also a friend where is compassion and possible mediation..how can we work this out. This was an Underinsured Motorist case, in which my own car insurance carrier didn’t believe the extent of my injuries and had denied my claim. Barbara had to first prove the validity of my injuries to the carrier of the driver who rear ended me, then to my own insurance company. She knew the process, local courts and mediators well, and consistently steered the case toward the best result. Barbara prepared me for a deposition and mediations. She knew the facts of my case thoroughly and what to focus on at every stage. I was kept informed all along and supported by friendly, top-notch office staff. While Barbara’s conduct was professional at all times, she was also kind, demonstrating genuine concern for me personally. Ultimately, the award was much better than anticipated, making this a positive experience at all levels. Even my obligation to pay back Medicare was negotiated for me. I recommend Barbara Monty without reservation and I would seek her assistance again, if needed. I give high praise and appreciation.

Matthew Briggs is a respectable lawyer building a solid practice in Marin. I got in contact with Matthew after attempting to resolve my custody issue for more than two years talking with my ex and several rounds of mediation. It had been extremely difficult and I was discouraged, stressed, financially strained, and more afraid than I can summarize.
Matthew was honest, professional, and kind. He got to know my situation thoroughly, let me know my options and possible outcomes, and never made unrealistic promises. Our adult son was hit by a car while on vacation in San Rafael CA. We recieved the call the night before Thanksgiving 2022. We flew from MPLS to San Fransisco and got to the hospital where our son was. He was injured badly, after emergency brain surgery he was placed in a medically induced coma he woke up after three day's. We decided as a family to contact an attorney. We contacted Kuvara Law firm and talked with Colby. Colby assured us that the only interest she had was the well being of our son. She went above and beyond to navigate out of state insurance and an entire host of other issues. Colby was professional, caring and listened carefully to what our son's desired outcomes were. Being in the construction trades, one is bound to run into bad clients from time to time. When such a situation arises, it helps to have experienced legal council to assist in what can be a frustrating and worrying experience. Phil and Rob Jaret helped us with two such cases for our landscape construction firm. Both times we were able to fight potential issues to a draw, reducing legal headaches and exposure, and allowing us to move on quickly. They make a great team, are very fair, and really care about being your advocate and representation.

Kind, considerate, never greedy, having the client’s interest at heart first and foremost. These are not words that one does not usually associates with a lawyer, but in the case of Robert Jaret, every bit of the above is true. I had some employment-related issues and badly needed legal advice from a lawyer, but I did not know whom to turn to. In desperation, I turned to the Yellow Pages, and after numerous phone calls and voice mails, I stumbled upon Robert. To my amazement, he promptly returned my calls. Over the next couple of days, I spoke with Robert several times, who listened attentively to my issues and concerns and offered me invaluable advice – all for free! Not only that, Robert even discouraged me from going down certain paths that would have cost me a fortune but would have led to nowhere.
Prior to speaking with Robert, I had some “free consultations” with some rather fishy lawyers, whose MO was to provide as little consultation as possible and then do their best to get me to open my wallet. One lawyer even asked me to folk over thousands of dollars (money that I do not have) as part of her “discount plan” before she even did any work for me. In comparison, it seems to me that Robert was there first and foremost to listen and offer honest assessment and help. Of course Robert needs to make a living, too, so he will eventually charges his client, but he’s so unlike other greedy lawyers that he does not hesitate to discourage you from engaging his service for certain things that would not serve your interest but would potentially earn him a lot of money.
Robert was really a Godsend for me at the moment I needed good advice most, and I’m very grateful for this. In my opinion, Robert is a very competent lawyer with a good heart. (I believe in Karma, and if Robert has treated his other clients and potential client as he has treated me, I’m sure he has earned bushels and bushels of good karma that will serve him well!) Finally, I must give a shout-out to the Yellow Pages. In this day of Google, twitter, linked in and other forms of social media, who’d have thought one could find gold in the Yellow Pages!

Ron Champoux was recommended to me by my business attorney to handle my divorce case. That was very fortunate. Ron clearly knows the law and better still what to expect from the court. He was able to predict with a high level of accuracy how the court might decide an issue, and develop a legal strategy around it. I respect that he never once spoke disparagingly of my ex-wife and did not foment friction. Unfortunately my ex-wife's attorney did the opposite. Ron Champoux was a step or two ahead of my ex-wife's attorney at every juncture. I could also see that Ron had garnered the respect of the court (Judge Beverly Wood) and was clearly liked by everyone, including opposing counsel. He's basically a nice guy who is very competent, treats everyone with respect and gets it back. I witnessed the value of having an attorney that the court respects. His personal integrity is a given in the courtroom and his representations carry weight. He makes honest statements and winning arguments.
My case was very litigious because my ex-wife's attorney was money hungry, hostile and unethical. Ron was able to deftly thwart the other side's aggression and shady tactics. He also very importantly explained the court's attitude toward entitlement and hard work. The Marin County Family Court is dominated by successful women who have balanced career and family, and do not agree that a spouse is entitled to a free ride while the other works. Ron understood that basic concept and the court's propensity for it and I was better served.
It makes a big difference having an ethical attorney who thinks well on his feet. Ronald Champoux saved me at least a half million dollars in settlement and perhaps over a million. So obviously I'm a big fan. Ron has mastered the nuances of managing a case, which means you are buying a high level of legal expertise and good sense. If you're looking for an attorney who will scorch the earth, then keep looking. But if you're looking for an attorney with class who knows how to win, then Ron Champoux is your guy.

If you had a rating of 100 I give Mr. Brady over that! I hired Mr. Brady for an injury case that sat in another attorney's office for over three years. I was BLESSED to had been referred to Mr. Brady, he is Brilliant, Professional, and Amazing person. Mr. Brady took my case to trial, he introduced my case in a way that even law students crowed the court room to watch him present my case, in which trial lasted a week an a half. After 9 years together I recently got divorced. Started with a simple separation that soon escalated into complicated matters, specially regarding custody and visitation rights. For those of us who are unfortunate to have to go through a divorce will be pushed to our limits and beyond. We often forget why it has come to this and lash out at those who are near to us and those whom we have hired to help us. A divorce will bring out the worst of some of the parties involved.
