No trial dates at no depositions no discovery just a letter a month before the statute of limitation is that they could move forward with my case leaving me totally screwed. I suspect corruption in politics. Would not recommend.

Wylie and his son Chris represented our family in a wrongful death matter. The case went to trial, and we "won" but not how we had hoped, due to opposing counsel's gross misconduct and consequent jury misconduct. Wylie stuck with us and successfully appealed, and shortly before the next trial, we settled very favorably, due to the strength of case Wylie had prepared. Throughout this multi-year case, he and his firm were extremely professional, communicated well, and most of all, really seemed to care. We went in knowing his grandiose resume and major-league reputation, but were pleasantly surprised by his down-to-earth demeanor and passion for just results. We would (and have many times already) recommend him in a second, and will always be grateful for the work he and his firm did for us.

I hired Attorney James R. Traut to represent me in a clear-cut legal malpractice lawsuit. I answered all of his questions over a 20-minute phone conversation and gave him all the details he requested, including the exact amount of the lawsuit. He then requested all of the personal and private details of the case and told me he was ready to go once he received them. He then abandoned me suddenly and refused to answer any texts or phone calls. Horrible experience!

I hired Jim Traut to sue for injuries I received in an accident caused by a drunk driver. I was always kept up to date on what was going on. Jim or someone from his staff always took my calls or returned them. Because they file your lawsuit right away, my case was resolved quickly and for top dollar. I would definitely use Jim again!

I had hired Jihad after we were robbed and he had his hand out for money at ever communication. He failed to do a thing for the case, other then to ask for more money. I did it myself and recovered 100k without him. His greed was overwhelming.

I hired Brian to file a chapter 7 in 2017. When you hire a bankruptcy attorney, you assume they understand all the laws according to the county they are practicing in, right? Not Brian! After all was said and done, the back taxes that were supposed to be included in my chapter 7, were not discharged. You can only discharge taxes from 3 years back. But because I had filed an extension with the IRS, the date I was told by Brian to file was incorrect. He told me that I should file 3 years from the date of acceptance by the IRS. But that was incorrect according to the laws set by the IRS. It should have been 3 years from the extension date. Im now still liable for the taxes, and Brian did nothing to correct the situation, nor offer to refund me for the service I paid him to be an expert in. When you hire someone, you assume they know ALL the laws of bankruptcy. This guy is just pumping out, like a bankruptcy mill, with no attention to details. Thanks for nothing Brian.

Unlike all these other attorneys who neglect to pick up their phone, you're going to be speaking to him directly. No matter what kind of situation you are in he will take care of you. Scott Wells provided us with poor legal representation in a criminal case with no act of commitment nor his dedication as he failed his job with gross neglect and disregard for the his clients best interest. 1st he did disclose a severe health issue that would hinder his work ability that he knew he had and did not disclose to us at the time, we retained him if known we would have searched other council that could have provided their full capacity and attention to representation. So with no knowledge his personal problem became our problem with his missed court dates and rare client communication The outcome of his failure resulted in a double life sentence verses a 10 year plea deal he was offed. But due to Scotts negligence and unprofessionalism . the deal fell through because he could not wait to sign the deal after the court was dismissed for lunch time and the judge instructed us to return after lunch to sign the papers. Scott told the Judge he had a personnel appointment and asked the judge if we could come back on Monday to sigh as his wife has an Anniversary weekend surprise for him and must leave, even against our concern as we wanted to sign the deal after lunch, but Scott assured us the deal is a done deal don't worry, it cant be changed, it can wait till Monday. So we trusted him, and said ok as long as the deal cannot be taken back. Well Scotts concern for his personal needs over his clients needs cost my son his life, as the plea deal was taken back.( any good criminal lawyer should have there is a chance they can change it , and in the clients best interest Scott should have stayed and signed the plea deal that day! all because Scott could not wait around for 1 more hour. His negligence cost my son his life. Do not hire as legal Council!!!!!

In 2010 I was charged with DUI. Although I had a blood alcohol content of .007 and no criminal record I was in graduate school and very scared/concerned and found her by google. The DMV hearing was won based on the facts (prior to retaining her) and eventually my charge was reduced to a wet reckless. During my initial consultation we were rushed because she had to run to take care of some family errands which I felt was unprofessional. In all honesty, I didn't get much feedback or updates from her during the process and never really knew what was going on. Her assistant, whom seems to be shared among a group of other lawyers, was very rude and unhelpful on the phone every time I called. Although she had very affordable rates, I believe I would have had the same result without an attorney or with a public defender, and I was disappointed with how much service I feel I got for what I paid. Things may have changed since or she may have had other more important cases at the time. After the case, there was no discussion of how I could get the record expunged or any follow up on how to proceed, I felt like I was on my own. She was a nice person, and I hate to give bad review but this was honestly my perspective. I felt like it was just another lawyer collecting a check for showing up and doing the bare minimum.

Lolita Kirk is one of the few attorneys I would send a client to without hesitation. A referral affects my reputation, so I don't refer cases out without being sure my client will be impressed and well taken care of. DUI trials are difficult and extremely important to the lives of the accused - the fines are high, the conviction and the driving record are serious permanent records.
A DUI trial requires scientific knowledge, law enforcement knowledge and the ability to handle lay witnesses -- you MUST be an excellent and experienced lawyer to sustain a winning record in DUI trials. Lolita Kirk does this and she is beautiful, has a courtroom presence appreciated by judicial officers, she is an excellent choice for representation. I recommend her in Orange County whenever I can, and the feedback is reassuring that I am doing the right thing.

I am still trying to undo what he did in a few hours one morning in court. He took my retainer, showed up unprepared for an ex party on custody and was able to complain about how he was feeling, show up in sneakers, be arrogant in court, but was blown away by opposing counsel in chambers, despite the fact I had an excellent case. He scolded me after the ex parte and my kind and gentle questions were answered by him dropping me as a client. I have since found an atty that has turned my case around entirely but it was a very costly and devastating mistake on every level to hire Mr. Crouse. The only thing I think he is good at is writing intimidating letters to opposing counsel and I do believe he knows the law.

I engaged the attorney for two months during my divorce proceedings, and unfortunately, the experience was unsatisfactory. Communication issues, particularly via email, led to the alienation and voluntary withdrawal of my previous attorney, adding complexity and stress. The initial referral lacked transparency, as the attorney was referred by one of her employees without disclosure, raising concerns about conflicts of interest. Despite being a business attorney, she involved herself in my divorce, to my disadvantage. The lack of specialization in family law became evident.
Delayed invoicing, presented only upon my request for her removal, added unexpected financial strain. Her tardiness for a crucial forensic appointment resulted in additional charges and undermined its effectiveness. The two months became the most stressful phase of my divorce, with repetitive and lengthy communications, undisclosed post-termination charges, leading to my decision to terminate her services. This feedback aims to contribute to a constructive evaluation of her practices for potential improvement in future client engagements.

I consider myself quite fortunate to know Ms. Salisbury, Esq. I had the great pleasure of working with her in business matters. Ms Salisbury litigates as though the case is her own. Your run of the mill “bulldog” attorney is often a bully, and needs to compensate for a lack of knowledge of the law, weak evidence, or general incompetence.
Lisa Is best described as a panther because she quietly hunts her prey, methodically and ferociously, leaving a stupid bulldog and their deceptive client, unprepared for her attack. All bite and no bark....she takes down the opponent, swiftly. Her strategies save huge amounts of money and you can probably avoid court because once the opposing party witnesses her strengths, they want to stay the hell out of court. I retained her multiple times, on matters for business, real estate, contracts, family law matters, and financial fraud. There is nothing like Lisa and I have hired probably 25 attorneys in my lifetime. If you want to win, hire her.

I don’t have the words to adequately express how much help Lisa Salisbury has given me through her extreme knowledge of the law as well as personal interest in making sure her client is completely taken care of. I had met Lisa through colleagues and considered her a sharp and bright and charismatic person, but never thought I would be using her as a lifeline and attorney. Her specialty may be real estate and business law, but I hired Lisa to help me with personal family matters as I trusted her beyond anyone else who may have practiced family law. She helped me every step of the way. Lisa utilized her extensive network of contacts to gather as much information to better position in a family matter. She gave me so much comfort knowing she was in my corner so I could focus on my newborn baby. She proved that she is able to tackle any issues and give the upmost attention to it. Whatever the situation may be, no one will work harder (or smarter) to find the best solution than Lisa. I am truly grateful for her help and would recommend her to anyone, for any of their legal concerns.

Mr. Real was very helpful in taking care of my case. I was permanently injured in September of 2010 and after 4 years of minimal to no medical treatment, Mr. Real was able to finally get me approved for treatment. For a year, he was able to get the ball rolling for me medically and also conclude my case with Disneyland. He was always very helpful, empathetic, and flexible to my busy schedule. He's fee's were a portion of my settlement, which I found incredibly reasonable, especially for all of the work he did. Now, I will say that there were times where I didn't feel there was progress that was being made and there were times where I felt I had to check in quite often. Overall, though, we got the resolution and a settlement I was satisfied with. Going up again Disneyland was something I had hoped would never happen, but unfortunately had to go down that path. The final day where I had to meet with the Disney Lawyers, Alfred stayed by my side, comforted me, guided me, and reassured me throughout the entire process. April, his secretary (or assistant) was also very friendly and helpful.

I am a permanently injured nurse. I retained Mr. Real a year and a half ago to settle my case. I had a QME in December 2014. After multiple phone calls, including recent attempts x 9 Mr. Real does not return my calls. Mr. Real's staff are not law clerks and have little if no knowledge of my case, they appear to only take and give Mr. Real messages. I have attempted to request Mr. Real settle my case for 10 months he will not. I now have to file a dismissal of Mr. Real as my attorney with the California state worker's compensation board and file a formal complaint with the California Bar association. Mr. Real is very charismatic, tells you what you want to hear, and then in my case has not worked for me as he promised. Mr. Real is not a man of his word. Mr. Real is lazy and incompetent. All I can say is do not retain Mr. Real as your attorney based on my unfortunate experience. Mr. Real has caused me significant distress. After being injured catastrophically no worker should have to endure this. Mr. Real is suppose to advocate and represent you as a client not do you additional harm; that being in addition to what I or you have already sustained as an industrial injured worker. I wish you the best. Don't be a victim twice and hire Mr. Real.

I paid about 1900 dollars, every penny was worth it, I was worry free. everyone who represented me along with Mellisa Clark was awesome. Melissa Clark NEVER communicated with me throughout the 18-19 month period of my case and never updated my case notes herself. She took the position of arguing to drop my case a mere 5 days after I left an unfavorable review to the law firm she works for. She argued to her law firm there was a "conflict of interest" with other clients. But this was just a pretext to drop my case, as this was never brought up or hinted at before. Ms. Clark is an unethical and unskilled attorney that apparently is also prejudiced against certain kinds of civil right restorations; namely, firearm restoration cases. Moreover, her employer did not want to honor their flat fee, because the costs of my case was somehow exceeding their expectations.
I don't just leave negative reviews for the hell of it. But this attorney is just plain bad, and as a prospective client reading this, you need to be aware of my experience. To be more than fair, I tried to get her side of the story and tried to contact her personally. She completely refused to respond. I will likely be seeking further action against this attorney.

Five stars. I have had Mr Travieso' as my attorney on multiple matters and he has never failed to deliver anything less than an outstanding result for me which is why I keep using him. He and his staff are diligent, responsive, and timely. All of my questions were answered within a reasonable period of time and my input was welcome and I felt I was in control of my case in partnership with him. He is a tenacious litigator and aggressive but intelligently so. He is not inexpensive, but I will say he is worth every penny. I would happily use him again should I have future legal needs and would recommend him to anyone

During our consultation Art agreed that my ex shouldn't be selling community property nor should she be keeping me from seeing my son. Art agreed that motions should be filed regarding both. I also let Art know I had a trial coming up the following month regarding Date of Separation and that it had already been continued once so I didn't want it continued again. Art said that wouldn't be a problem. After a little over a month and $5k later, nothing had been filed and Art continued the trial.

I hired Mr. Afghani to represent me in a court matter. A temporary restraining order was issued against me by my step daughter, keeping me from my wife of 34 years. I had doctors, county representatives and social workers, along with friends and neighbors willing to give corroborating evidence that there was no abuse. At the final court hearing, Mr. Afghani sat while the judge ruled against me. He did not make any argument or even try to produce the evidence or witnesses to the fact that there was no abuse. After the hearing, he ran out of the courtroom and said absolutely nothing to me. I wanted to file an appeal and hire another attorney. He refused to sign the substitution of attorney form until AFTER the deadline to appeal had expired. I now am unable to see my wife without supervision because of this man. For all of this, he charged me over $2500!! I will be filing a report with the state bar as well.

I was referred to Ken Holder by his counterpart. After reading his public story of being personally falsely accused and representing those whom also have been falsely accused, I felt he was the right attorney for my cases. I met and hired Ken on 3/9/20.
Once I hired him he did make a few phone calls and sent a few emails. He had a very strong game plan which he never followed through on, due to his lack of response opposing counsels walked all over us.
His advise made me feel like I was to play door mat to opposing counsels to avoid any actual work done on my cases.
Rather than deal with further aggravation, I let him go on 4/17/20 and asked for final billing and a refund of my unused retainer, I immediately received an invoice for an amount larger than what my actual retainer was (which I can provide proof of).
For me to believe that he did more than $1,500.00 worth of work in one month is laughable.

The most reasonably priced, trustworthy attorney money can buy. Not out to get every dollar from you. An inactive Marine who still has the fight, fairness, and integrity that is known world wide. A very good choice if you need legal representation.

Back in 09-1994 after suffering a terrible accident where we suffered the loss of a love one at Western Medical Center in Santa Ana due to the internal injuries caused by the accident. My ex-fiance and I were referred to Mr. Katnik since we did not know any attorney, and after we hired Mr. Katnik and saw how he handled our case from the beginning to the end, and after through the years having consulted other attorneys I come to the only conclusion that Mr. Katnik is one of the few reputable attorneys now days in which you can trust your injury case to him. Since then I have referred him many of my clients and I only have heard great things about him. The most recent case I referred to him is my uncle and so far he is more than satisfied with Mr. Katnik's care and concern about my uncle's case and well been.

I'm not sure what happened with the other reviewer, but I could not have been more happy with mr. Katnik. He was very responsive and really cared about me and my case. I would recommend him to anyone who needed legal help. I have only dealt with 2 other lawyers before him, but he was so much more caring than the other 2.

I cannot say enough about how bad an experience I had with this attorney. I was lead to believe first that a settlement was "in the works" for almost a year, and then that a suit was being filed. Months of no updates or return calls later he tells me there never was a case to begin with. This Attorney wasted 15 months of my time, led me to believe he had filed suit and we would prevail, only to send me a letter saying he would no longer be representing me in the matter, as liability was not established. (This after I requested in writting an update of ANY kind, as well as a copy of the case file, which I still have not recieved). I would get vague answers of "we are right where we should be" when I could get him to return a call, and I would not recommend him to anyone.

Absolutely recommend john, he has worked hard for me against an under handed law firm with $$ to burn so who ever has a problem with him maybe you should look in the mirror,I have not seen an attorney work as hard as him,i consider a friend and the reviews on here are the work of his competition who are getting their assses kicked ,,trust me go to him first he knows the system yours truly

He fought out case and never informed us it was closed. I had to physically go to his office to find out it was closed 1 month ago and I was never informed. What attorney does this, but he certainly took his percentage right away with out notifying us.

This Attorney was never available to help me with my personal injury case. The lady I would need to speak with {Judy} was always giving me attitude and talking back in a rude and unprofessional manor. NEVER would I want to recommend this lawyer to any of my family or friends. Only once was I informed on an update of my case.

I feel this attorney is not responsive or helpful. They only advise you and overcharge until the retainer is gone. Bogus bill for work that was never authorized and they make you do it to begin with. They literally copied and pasted my response on the court filing, how do they charge me for work I've done?
