Sean represented me in a DUI case in King county. I have contacted many lawyers before selecting Sean. One of the most important things that impressed me was his knowledge and how he distilled it to me and answered all my questions. He was very genuine and we set realistic goals and he achieved it. My breath analysis was .114 and he got me the least possible sentence. During the entire process he kept me informed of what was to come and what was going on. This communication made the whole experience less stressful and more positive. I should also say that even after the case was done, he checked with me a couple of times to inform me about the license suspension dates. He genuinely cares about this clients and it shows. I procrastinated on getting a will for years. A friend recommended Jamie Clausen and I finally called. Working with Jamie made that task I had avoided and dreaded for so long vastly easier than I had imagined. Jamie reviewed our situation, answered our questions, and made suggestions for how to title our accounts given what we wished to do for our estate. Very impressed... I contacted them for help with an L&I claim. They spent time reviewing the file and provided guidance on how to proceed, along with work product. They refused to bill me for what must have been at least a few hours work. They actually mean it that you don't need to hire an attorney to get their help. Cheryl was so helpful. Treated me like I was their biggest client.

I met chelan 4 years ago I was a pro bono case that she handled!! I can never say enough about Chelan she is very professional, very responsible, very responsive very kind and patient. As a pro bono case she handled my case very professional and with priority even though she wasn't getting paid for this! she is very supportive, she is the lawyer that would make any case priority regardless if it's simple or complicated case, paid for or pro bono. As soon as my wife and I hired Robert Zierman we began to sleep better! Although Robert's law office is several hours away from us, we chose Robert (Justice Smiles, Plllc) for help in a festering Boundary Dispute with an aggressive new neighbor. Why Robert? A boundary dispute some 20 years ago taught us that such real estate matters are a specialized area of the law. We searched and failed to find a local lawyer who had more than a minor part of their practice based on Real Estate. So we looked further afield for a ''specialist". And while doing our Internet research on the subject of boundary disputes, we found our expert, Robert Zierman, and we also found many helpful articles that Robert himself had authored.
Enlisting Robert for our legal representation was a VERY GOOD choice! Robert thoroughly reviewed our situation and then carefully identified several alternative courses of action for us....plus he identified the likely costs, benefits and risks of each course of action. Robert's expertise and his calming demeanor also seemed to keep the other parties from unnecessarily escalating the situation.
Bottom Line: Very glad we found and used Robert Zierman for our boundary problem. It WAS money well spent. We found Robert to be very time efficient because he was already so knowledgeable about the subject area. We felt we were in "good hands" with Robert from Day 1. We found Robert trustworthy and hard working. He tries to deescalate and resolve confrontations. It has been a pleasure working through this awkward situation employing a true professional like Robert Zierman. We consider the negotiated outcome "fair". We couldn't ask for more. Hiring Robert was certainly a wonderful choice for us. Highly recommended.

We had a difficult immigration problem that involved my son-in-law. We talked with several lawyers but got no satisfactory answers. Liz was our constant support and advisor during our case against a hospital that did not provide standard of care for my husband resulting in a significantly shortened lifespan as well as a difficult one.
Liz was the one we first called or emailed with questions -- and we had lots! Never did she seem we were taking too much of her time, and she always provided her expert opinion and advice in an easy to understand, thoughtful and kind manner.
While our attorneys got to know a lot about our lives, they shared some about their own, so we enjoyed learning about Liz's children, one of whom she gave birth to during the process.
Through depositions and a mediation Liz informed us very well about the process so we weren't taken by surprise in any way. She and her colleagues (a senior attorney and paralegal) were excellent legal support. They guided us to a successful settlement while understanding that we'd trade the money for the injury to have never happened.
We struggled at first because we understood that accidents do happen, even in medicine. But Liz and her colleague made it clear that the number of errors that added up to our end result required both change and some recompense. Mr. Hicks was assisting the lead attorney on our case and subsequnetly took it over as our primary contact. The issue was adverse possession. Mr. Hicks explained what was going on in laymans terms and tried to establish common ground between planiff and defendant. I was put into a no-win situation with my boss/employer where he put me on a PIP. After addressing each point on the PIP and getting good feedback from co-workers I was let go. Sara gave me 1 hour consultation on how to conduct my exit interview. Her advice helped me navigate that meeting very well. She has also helped me navigate ESD and get unemployment. You should consider David. A friend just now asked me about my divorce lawyer and whether I liked him. It’s indeed been years since I really thought about this exact relationship (divorce in 2017) so I was reminded to review him. I met David at a wedding of some friends in which he was serving as the groom’s best man. I thought it was great that I met him organically. I think I met with a few others but a reference from a friend is worth pure gold to me. I agree with everything all have said below. He always spent good time with me, he has a sense of humor and even though at the time, I could barely crack a smile, it frankly diffused a hell of a lot of tension. He had a clever strategy and though we never discussed it, I think I picked up on his waiting game with my ex-sociopathic con man louse of a husband. I am a get- it - done - NOW- -person as soon as I make up my mind. That’s not gonna serve you best with a sociopathic poor man who has no source of income of his own. David took the long view and looking back now I know it served me well. By the time we waited him out he was willing to take far less than originally “requested”. I was my usual impatient. But in the end, not only did he honor my request to finalize the divorce on a certain specific date (it was meaningful to me and sent a secret sayonara message to my EX), he saved me a lot of money with his tactics.

I have known David Huber almost 20 years, professionally and personally. He was the clear choice to represent my interests when I divorced in 2010. My then wife and I had been married over 30 years and had lived together for eight years prior to that. We had two adult children and a somewhat complicated estate of community and separate properties.
I wanted a fair, equitable and friendly outcome. Unfortunately, my former wife engaged an attorney to represent her interests that was not interested in a fair, equitable or friendly outcome.
David’s even and principled representation was able to neutralize the vitriol of opposing counsel while remaining a strong and persuasive advocate on behalf of that ‘fair and equitable’ outcome. David and I both understood that the problem was not primarily my wife … and after 18 months of discovery (of questionable good faith), David was able to persuade opposing counsel that no assets were being hidden. From that point we were able to proceed to a formal mediation process which resolved in one day.
On both a professional and personal level, David was a superb lawyer and counselor. He was always prepared. He communicated well the different perspectives of each issue before making his recommendation … and then accepted whatever decision I ultimately made. In 2009, I went through a terrible divorce and my counselor at that time mentioned “the children are young enough you can leave now and they won’t remember you.” Had I met Nelson nd had him as my attorney from day one I am confident I would’ve been the sole custodian of the children. It is now 2019, my ex still thinks we are fighting a divorce, still refuses to properly cooperate with regards and respect to our now 11-year-old daughters. I trust Nelson, he’s easy to talk to and knows the letter of the law and most importantly he does not mince words. He will be my chosen attorney from here until he retires.

Mr. Berry is a complete professional, in every sense of the word. Compassionate, honest, prudent and versatile in matters of law. I am a single mom and very able, competent and successful. I am the founder of my own non-profit, although small in scale, that serve the needy with a determined and compassionate mission statement. I firmly believe that there are only a few lawyers who are competent, hardworking and active like David.
I met several lawyers in my recent legal dispute and had asked several lawyers to resolve my legal issues. But David was the best lawyer I ever met. He is very abundant in legal knowledge and has a great ability to solve problems as a lawyer. Not only that, but David was sincere and worked my work as his own work. David is also a warm-hearted person with a love of humanity. I think he really understood my difficulties and did his best to save me from legal issues. He is my savior.
Before I met David, I contracted another lawyer. But the first lawyer I met did not show me the settlement, and he just put me on hold and made me nervous. But David was very different. He analyzed my case and found a point to prove my injustice and made a very active effort to bring this case to my advantage.
By the way, my case was settled by a jury trial to solve my injustice. In a jury trial, the role of a lawyer is of paramount importance, and attentive and active preparation is crucial for best results. David did this thoroughly. I attended the trial with him for two days, and I felt he was very proficient and professional in the jury trial.
His words are soft and gave me a detailed answer to my question. Also, I could feel trust in his words based on his knowledge. He always counted my heart and gave me relief.

Dan is the Man (as an Attorney)! Plain and simple. I had two city charges (DV and Resisting Arrest) against me that was ongoing with another defense Attorney. The prosecution was absolutely stagnant for nearly 2 years, and I did not believe our initial Attorney was a good fit anymore to get the job done. A family member recommended Dan Fiorito instead. I switched to Dan mid-prosecution. He took over and shortly thereafter got the DV charge officially dismissed. I then took the Resisting Arrest charge to trial and Dan won my case after a full 3-day trial. His courtroom skill was levels above that of the City Prosecutor. The Jury unanimously acquitted me, believing in Dan's convincing arguments over our opposition. I plan to seek Dan's help in pursuing a Civil action against the city as well.
To say Dan was the right choice as my Attorney is an understatement. He was the perfect choice. His demeanour is caring, professional, and very pragmatic.
