I was a bit intimidated by all the paperwork and steps necessary to take as my new wife and I got married and began the process of qualifying for the Green Card. The most important thing in my life was getting my wife a green card and beginning our new lives together here in this great country of ours
I found this site as I searched for competent lawyers that were experts in immigration issues
Although I had no complex issues the paperwork and obstacles you must go thru are unbelievably hard. This is a long tedious process and I just don't know how anyone could and would want to navigate it alone without an expert at your side.
I choose Bonnie from this site overseas and she was the excellent rating that was given to her
What caught my attention was bringing families together clause, so I hired Bonnie and she was worth every penny. Every step Identified clearly, my responsibilities , deadlines were all painlessly described to my wife and I and we just gave to Bonnie.

Back in the early or mid-1980’s, I was one of eight apartment owners who sued the local County for requiring that all property owners in the entire local area connect their property to the new sewer system and stop using the existing, approved and functioning on-site septic systems.
Attorney Steve Crane sued on behalf of Eight Apartment Complex owners and won! I was one of Steve's clients with my apartment complex of 28 units in that lawsuit against the County to not hook-up to the County sewer system. Steve’s argument was that the Local Improvement District that the County adopted stated that everyone in that area of the County must hook-up to the new sewer system and by doing so each property would have an increase in value thereby supporting the County’s argument requiring all property owners to hook-up to the sewer system. However, Steve, along with testimony and documentation from the eight apartment owner’s, Steve proved that tenants don’t care where their sewage goes once they flush; they will never pay more for the sewage going down to a County Sewer System rather than it going to an on-site septic system. As long as it flushes and the sewage goes down the drain, no one would pay any increased rents based on those facts. Additionally, since sewers would likely bring new apartments with more competition to the existing owners who would likely have to reduce rents to stay competitive with the new construction; thereby actually lowering the value of our apartment buildings.
Steve’s arguments won. I avoided paying the approximately $28,000 in sewer hookup fees to the County sewer assessment, plus I avoided the costs of tearing up my lawns and existing septic system to put new pipes to the sewer system in the street; estimated savings at about another $28,000. With the time value of money, the approximately $56,000 at an inflation rate of just 3% would be equal to approximately $165,000 today! However, the biggest factor is the right to continue use of the on-site septic system thereby avoiding us from paying the on-going, monthly sewer fees of $19.00 per month per apartment unit or $532 per month for my 28 unit complex. In Today’s dollars, Steve Crane’s lawsuit saved us approximately another $405,000 in monthly sewer service fees! So Steve Crane saved me about $600,000 over these past years.

We retained Lauren to fight our union in PERC and to represent us in a defamation lawsuit. Lauren provided excellent counsel for us and even successful in obtaining a protection order for us. Even though our outcome wasn't favorable for PERC, it was for the lawsuit. But Lauren was upfront and honest about our chances and kept us well informed. Lauren stood by our side for nearly five years while we were attacked by our own union and their lawyers. She won the bigger part of the lawsuit and if the PERC system wasn't so rigged toward unions, she should have won that too. While my faith in our justice system is severely shaken and my faith in unions is almost destroyed, this is the one shining example of a true legal professional who cares about her clients first and will take on any and all lawyers, unions or government bureaucracies that are destroying people's lives. Being charged with child abuse by prosecutors and then getting "Founded" of child abuse by CPS left me devastated to say the least. I had already hired a criminal defense attorney to address the assault charge I was being charged with. It was not until I had gotten a letter in the mail from CPS saying that they "founded" me of child abuse that I then called my criminal defense attorney. My attorney then explained to me that they were two completely separate matters which would require two separate attorneys. My criminal defense attorney on this matter then referred me to Denise. Here is why I recommend Denise as an attorney. In my case I hired Denise to appeal the CPS matter. My first time talking to Denise on the phone I was full of emotional trauma and had a lot to say about what had happened. She listened to everything that I had to say about what happened with this matter but also how toxic the relationship between me and my mom biological daughter had become over the last year. Denise did not pass any judgement against me nor did she profile me as what I was being charged with. When we spoke about the facts of what had happened and that there was no intent and I was just playing with my non biological daughter which lead to an accident we then used everything we could to prove that what had happened was "truly" non intentional. Denise typed out a very professional, truthful and sincere declaration on my behalf and submitted mailed it into CPS for what we hoped would be over turned. As the months went by my criminal defense attorney had gotten a he assault charged dismissed and not too much longer after Denise had gotten the CPS matter over turned. Denise is not just someone who will go up to bat for you but she also will listen to you have to say even if it does not benefit your case. Which at the time when I found Denise is what I needed. I needed a professional such as her to listen to me and hear and understand how much suffering I was truly going through and that it was an honest mistake. Thanks to Denise getting my case with CPS over turned I will be able to do things such as volunteer at schooling events or girls scout events with my biological daughter in the future. Miss Gagner is a 5 star attorney and I have the up most gratitude for her. If you are being charged with something and you are innocent or even if you are guilty. Mr. Kennedy took my case regarding failure to supervise a financial advisor who worked for a Investment company. As the discovery brought to light, I was misled by the investor in more than one way. Erin made the estate planning process smooth and pain-free for me. I had previously contacted two other Seattle attorneys who turned me down as a client simply because an S-corp is part of the mix for me—you would think that most estate planning lawyers would have some experience dealing with S-corps, but apparently not.
Erin went out of her way to double-check that she was handling my S-corp correctly. She's low-key, personable, no-drama, organized, efficient and professional, and prices her services fairly, no pun intended.
I'm confident referring anyone to Erin who needs the basic docs: Financial POA, Health Care POA, Advance Directives, Disposition of Remains, and of course, a Will. She supplies both official hard copies and PDF files of everything and also gives you tips about what else needs to be taken care of and understood, from setting up mutual fund beneficiaries to probate and estate taxes. I enjoyed discussing legal "what ifs" with her.
Erin, you really made the whole thing easier than I expected! Of course, it does help—whomever you choose to draw up your documents—if you do some advance reading about estate planning and familiarize yourself with the vocabulary and basic concepts. Rory helped me recover over $10k of unemployment benefits which was previously denied to me by ESD WA. I’m a long-time remote worker who decided to briefly pause my job search to focus on taking care of my spouse, who had back surgery. Mr. Maybrown is very selective in the number of cases his firm brings on. Thankfully, Mr. Maybrown represented me for a very serious false accusation. Ultimately, he successfully brought the truth out and got the case dismissed. I can see why the firm is selective in the cases they bring in, because his attention to my case was always paramount, he was extremely responsive to every question and concern, and frankly, treated me like a family member and not someone who was just writing the checks. His methods are meticulous and brilliant and was able to look at everything in the case akin to putting together a very complicated jigsaw puzzle.

Todd maybrown took my case in 2011 while I was in prison. He won my personal restraint petition may 6th of 2014.i was released from prison and my charges were over turned. He got me a new trial. On Thursday December 11, 2008, I received a criminal complaint against me. According to the court papers, the charge was a criminal offense; the alleged violation was an assault. I was shocked and strongly believed that there must be an error due to the fact I did not recall “knowingly” committing an offense against any being, let alone a human being. Initially, I did not know what to do. The second day I called a friend who is a attorney, his practice focuses on civil litigation and dispute resolution, with an emphasis on general commercial litigation, i.e. he was not a criminal defense attorney. After reading the court complaint letter, my friend’s reaction was similar to mine. He said this is very bizarre; situation and proceeded to call the City prosecutor to find out what the complaint was really about. He did his best with no success. With a court date set for December 23rd that I was not able to attend, my friend was kind enough to represent me and request discovery materials, so hopefully we could understand what was going on.
Knowing the complaint was absolutely false; I took it very seriously and started the search for a knowledgeable top-notch criminal defense attorney. I received Todd’s name as a recommendation and contacted him. He quickly returned my phone call. We sat together the second day after my call and Todd began efforts on my behalf. The day I met Todd, he told me, the accuser may bring two more individuals to the hearing and clearly explained what we were going to do. I told Todd I was looking for an excellent attorney. I was upset and disappointed at the possibility I may be found guilty of something I did not do. I was in great distress at having the burden on me to prove my innocence.
What appeared to be a minor case in my opinion, I understood, could have major consequences on my life if the matter was not properly handled. My accuser managed to find two “professional” witnesses, i.e. two liars like him, to support his absolute false claim. Todd, through professionalism, excellent investigation and due diligence in gathering information perfected the case for a win on my behalf during cross examination. Needless to say, I was highly impressed with Todd’s performance. He did a great job. The judge was disgusted with the prosecutor’s office because of the way Todd demonstrated excellence in presenting the matters.
Todd took time to understand every aspect of my case and used his knowledge and experience to my advantage. Todd is an attorney with integrity that can be trusted and relied on. He is an attorney who is thoughtful, thorough, and knowledgeable. Todd is a staunch advocate for his client.
I would recommend Todd for anyone who had a criminal case. Todd is very easy to work and talk with. He instills a real sense of confidence in his client that everything will be ok. He has ethics which is shown through his demeanor and work. He is an attorney who combines expertise with compassion in a professional manner. He made me feel that I was more than just his client- he made me feel as someone he genuinely cared about.
