Want/Need a no nonsense lawyer Grady Martin is for you-at first I was not sure how much I liked him as he is a GET TO THE POINT type person-However the longer I was with him the more I realized that this was me being dumb Grady's approach was actually the best for anyone's case! It was me trying to joke & kid around that was the problem !! ALL GRADY DOES IS TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS.He will tell you in no uncertain terms what is going on & what is BEST for you & YOUR case he truly is not the golf playing or I can not be reached till who knows when type-I would truthfully say EVERY time I had a question/problem that I had Grady's ear and attention.Never a problem with a callback if he was in court or something promptly I was in touch as soon as he had time NOT NEXT WEEK !!! After being blindsided with a request for a divorce I searched everywhere for lawyers that could help me immediately. My head began to spin with all the horror stories I heard about men's representation in divorce/parental proceedings, especially being a man of color. I was blessed to find Genevieve Davis. She immediately took my case and helped with every step of reacting to my divorce. Mrs. Davis took care of everything, and was always extremely prompt returning my calls and took her time explaining anything I did not understand (which was alot). I was blessed to find Ms. Davis and have her assistance in my Family Law case. After my ex-wife contracted a dirty and unscrupulous lawyer to “destroy my life”, as she said herself, I went through almost 2 years of fear and depression due to the threats and unimageable lies they made up about me in the process. Taking advantage of my ex-wife ignorance, her perverse lawyer kept throwing her against me, making false affirmations about myself and pushing us to go into court trials just to fill up her pockets, not caring at any moment about our mental health or even about our 5 years old daughter who was in the middle of all that. Trapped in this legal imbroglio they stuck me in, and after talking to many many family attorneys - that only seemed to care if I had enough money to pay their fees - I was extremely hopeless until Ms. Davis called me and said she was going to handle my case. That was a life changer for me. Like an angel sent from the heavens she calmed down, made feel protected and drove me through the most difficult situation of my life.
Very knowledgeable, caring and fair, she won our final trial and I was still rewarded attorneys fees from my evil ex-wife.

There aren't enough words to say how amazing Ms. Davis as an attorney. My case was fraught with high level conflict regarding custody of my 1 1/2 year old daughter, we were in a very unsafe living situation at the time and Genevieve took no stops to be present in her legal advice to get us out safely, she took my frantic calls on the weekends and guided my daughter and I both out of the situation (legally speaking).
After our temporary parenting plan was put into place, she worked tirelessly to prepare us for our Permanent Parenting Plan. She guided me through multiple protection orders and gracefully handled harassing calls from my ex. At all times Ms. Davis remains with a level head and exceptionally thorough in navigating the intricacies of both combative relationships and the legal system itself. My daughter's father struggled with following the rules in our Temp PP and her council successfully lead us through CR2A agreements, contempt orders and even a criminal case.
By the time we reached the Permanent Parenting Plan trial, we received every last thing we asked for, including the requirement of my daughter's father going to DV Dad's and Anger Management counseling. While my ex and I will never be "friends" through this process and counseling we are slowly learning to be civil.

I had a very tough and complicated case with little chance of success, but with the help of Linda Fang and her team, we finally won it! Four years ago, I invested money through the immigrant investor program, but we didn't see any progress, so last year our immigration partner agreed to refund my money. But again and again over almost one year, he broke his promises. Finally, I decided to take legal action. While driving south on I-5 in Tacoma, an underinsured motorist sideswiped a dump-truck causing it to spin around and go north in the southbound lanes and hitting us head-on. We were crushed between the spinning dump-truck, the car that caused the accident and the car that rear-ended us. We hired Schroeter Goldmark & Bender to represent us.
The insurance carrier for the underinsured motorist paid us the limits under their policy. Our own insurance company basically made an offer of zero to cover life-altering and permanent injuries.
Our team at SGB of Sergio Garcidueñas-Sease, Lindsay Halm, Adam Berger and Alder Burgess took over for us. One of the most important things they did was to shield us from the stone-walling, delaying tactics of our own insurance company to whom we had paid premiums for more than 30 years. From the beginning they handled the case as if it would end up in litigation. You need attorneys like SGB that have your back and are not afraid to go to court if that is what it takes.
They had the added challenge of doing this during Covid. Thank goodness for Zoom conferences. We ultimately got a court date. Two months prior to our court date, we went to mediation, via Zoom. We didn't hold out much hope for mediation, but we were willing to make an attempt. What a surprise when the insurance company came to mediation finally willing to negotiate. After a full day of the mediator going back and forth between Zoom rooms, we came to a fair monetary settlement. We are convinced that the insurance company, even then, was only willing to negotiate because Sergio and the rest of his team were well prepared bulldogs willing to go to court if mediation failed. As they like to say "This was not their first rodeo".
A car accident is horrible. You need the best attorneys you can find to protect your interests. Besides being professional and knowing the law inside and out, Sergio and the rest of the team are compassionate and truly care about their clients. We strongly recommend them to anyone who needs their services. Without Sergio and SGB our insurance company would have paid us nothing.

After experiencing some complications with finalizing our adoption in California, we were referred to David Andersen to help transfer our case to the State of Washington due to the year-long finalization process in CA. I recently hired Betty to assist with processing the forms for my wife and stepdaughter's I-751's to give remove the conditions (from our marriage) on their permanent resident status. They are both from China and we had married several years ago. Betty met with us personally to confirm that we were the right 'fit' and that all of our questions were answered. She promptly answered my phone call and emails, with out fail and her answers to my questions were always detailed and complete. I consulted Craig about an issue with buying a house. There was a contentious situation involving a suspected fake competing offer, which was used to escalate the final price for me. During 2011-2013 John helped me with the process to change my Visa Status. The school I was enrolled in committed several mistakes leading the change of visa from a J1 to an F1 that eventually the Visa was denied and the case was cancelled in two different occasions. John finally took care of the process and later on had to intervened with the school to avoid having me paying the fees that the USCIS required in order to re-open my case. After waiting for a long time I did get my Visa. John charged me a fee that took in consideration my financial situation.

I first hired a different attorney at a large firm to help with an issue I had with a general contractor who was threatening me. She told me that I was hosed; Because of the contract I had signed, this bully of a GC had me over a barrel. Before I forked over ~$30k to the bully GC, I contacted Tymon Berger.
Thank heavens I did. Tymon took the time to investigate the contract, the GC, and the situation. He listened to what I had to say -- something that not every attorney does. He understood my wishes and followed them clearly. And he came up with a clear and fair strategy to help me.
I never had to pay another dime to the GC. We settled amicably.
Tymon is a great communicator. He managed my expectations well and always followed through on commitments. Working with him was such a positive experience.
I pale to think that I almost forked over $30k (for work not completed) just because that previous lawyer didn't care to listen or bother. So yeah, Tymon is my hero.

I I met Lucas at a startup event, and I hired him to assist with the formation of my new company ( a C-Corp) shortly thereafter. What I really appreciate about Lucas and his work is that he very obviously cares about understanding his clients needs and tailoring his work to match that need. Compounded with his obvious knowledge of the business / startup space, this makes him really effective at delivering what people actually need at the time they need it.
As an example, being a first time entrepreneur, there was a lot of uncertainty around what I *actually* needed to get my business formed properly, legally, and set me up for future success. When I asked these questions of other lawyers prior to Lucas, they came back with a huge list of documents I ended up not needing, or came back with not nearly enough information for me to be able to act. When asked of Lucas, he asked me about what my business did, timelines, and ultimate goals for the company. Then he was able to layout the specific steps, documents, and milestones I'd need as well as why / when I'd need them based upon my own specifics.
The other thing that makes working with Lucas easy is that he's *very* available. He always picked up the phone when I called. It wasn't uncommon to get responses back from him at 10-11pm at night, which was nice because I was also working at those times. I never really ended up waiting on him for an answer I needed to move forward.
Lastly, I can tell Lucas takes a lot of pride in his work. He wants to make sure his clients get what they need from him, rather than just being a money-mill. I ask a lot of questions and spend more time trying to understand details than most (because that's just who I am), and he was willing to indulge me in that pursuit. Never once was he short or annoyed with me for asking a million questions. It was important to me to work with a lawyer who wasn't just a paper-pusher, but could offer me real guidance and advice. I'm sure my company is much better off because of his help.
I highly recommend Lucas, and intend to use him again in the future.

Danielle consulted on my naturalization case in 2016. She was up front about the cost, did a deep dive on the particulars of my case with me, gave specific pointers and advice about paperwork and then, unlike most consultants, told me that I didn't need her to complete my citizenship. She pointed me in the right direction and sent me on my way. With her advice from that consultation I printed my own paperwork and applied for naturalization in January 2017 and became a citizen in November 2017. She could have told me I needed her for everything and charged me several thousand dollars...but she didn't. I've recommended Danielle to at least 2 other friends. She is excellent.
