There are lawyers who try win for you by cheating and lying. If they dont succeed then it will be the client who looks bad in the end. Marguerite Smith is one who will represent the best in you by doing things the right way and winning with ethics. I didn't exactly win, but had I not had Marguerite as my attorney then I might have lost greatly. I am thankful that I made the right choice in choosing Marguerite to represent me, and I'm sure anyone else will feel the same as I did if they were to choose her. She will do her best for you by doing things right.

Marguerite is the best lawyer you can get. We had a very difficult and complex case together, no one else could have won. She was always spot on, and her advice and strategy has been excellent. She is also well connected with her network of top colleagues she can draw from. I only can highly recommend her, don't go anywhere else if you want to win the best for your child. Her billing is clearly structured, reasonable and just. Apart from being an outstanding expert in family law she is also a wonderful, highly intelligent down to earth person, who will understand your needs and fight for your best interests. If you want to get the best out of your case, I would highly advise you, to work close WITH her- she is an excellent team worker, as better you you work with her and provide her with all she will ask you for as better she can work with you for you. At court in litigation she excels even higher, she has been always quicker and one step ahead of opposite council before they even realize what happened. While being fast thinking and moving, when it really matters, she is also very structured and good organised, which gives you an easy ride in difficult territory. This is what you need, when you emotionally blocked in these situations. She will steer you clear through a stormy sea. She is not only on the money, she is the best value you can find for your money. Ms. Smith helped during a long and difficult international divorce involving child custody issues. Besides being very knowledgeable, she is also very organized and proactive. Throughout the whole process, she clearly explained the alternatives and their consequences. She sought and found advice on foreign law as needed, consistently kept me in the loop on what was going on and answered my numerous questions without delay. Her calm and friendly demeanor was reassuring in those circumstances when you're clearly not in control but merely trying to understand what the next step is. Ms. Poloni and the Loeffler Law group came recommended and with good reason. Jeana's organizational skills are exceptional. In writing this review, I realize we’ve known Mr. Bill Marler and his team of foodborne illness experts for over 5 years. The relationship started when I found Mr. Marler’s content on the internet via a Google search for ‘ecoli’. It was 26 days into our hospital stay before we had any idea what had ‘hit and run’ our precious child over. Once we engaged with Mr. Marler and his team, It was another 12 days to have him figure out what the source of the ecoli was and to confirm it with the CDC. We would not have known that the stuff that almost killed our kid was still in our pantry for 38 days too long if it had not been for our connection to Mr. Bill Marler. In our relationship with Marler-Clark we learned a lot about ecoli, HUS, history of foodborne illness, the CDC, the FDA, and the detrimental health effects. They helped guide us through what most families experience during a food outbreak, what type of investigation needed to happen, and how to get all the details uncovered. This knowledge and experience was INVALUABLE because they knew what likely would happen next. We would not be whole or intact today as a family if it had not been for the amazing help we received by the Marler-Clark team. Bill was unselfish in his time and commitment to helping us when we were in need of just overall support. He is a driven professional who really cares about people.

I recently came to a final settlement, a year in the making, which almost ruined me; financially and emotionally, but for the steady, professional guidance and advocacy I received from Nate.
From the moment I reached out to him (referred by a trusted, long-time friend who is also an attorney) I was treated with respect and compassion.
Throughout the year; from my week in the hospital, to having to find a new place to live while rehabilitating my injured arm, to navigating credit agencies that threatened to ruin my credit without immediate payment; Nate took as much off my plate as possible, but also always presented me with choices; leaving the decision with me, at each stage.

In the spring of 2012 I found myself visiting my Partner of 18 years at the Department of Homeland Security GEO Prison located in Tacoma WA. I was trying to talk through the thick glass, on the phone, WE could not speak. The emotions were so strong we both just sat there and cried we were going for a 3 year deportation vs a 10 year deportation. He would be able to apply to reenter the US in 3 years not 10 years. His Crime was an over-stay on his visitor’s visa. The case took on some more complications and the need for an attorney was apparent. While staying with our plan of going for a 3 year deportation, I was waiting in the holding area before seeing the Judge. (This is after 2 months in Jail it took 3 months to get him out) It’s where family waits to see their Inmate go to court It is mostly filled with attorneys waiting to take on cases (like a room full of sharks) My mind was struggling to find a way to help!
At that point Sharon Healey approached me and saw the stress and fear of losing my life Partner and soulmate after 18 years together. At this time the United States did not recognize same sex couples and therefore legal unions were nothing more than an individual state approval. Sharon and I talked a little and she informed me that the federal government is looking at DOMA and are close to repealing it, this would allow same-sex couples legal marriage and all the rights accompanying that. She went on to say that we need to fight this after almost 20 years it’s not right that He is deported for over staying his visa “You two need to fight!” she said. At this point I agreed to take her on as an attorney to fight for us as long as Victor was okay with that.
Soon after we were walking into the court room with our new attorney Sharon Healey whom faced the Judge and prosecutor and represented us like she had known us for years! She raised her voice and spoke- up for us! This giving us a ray of hope “this just might work!” I cannot say enough good things about Sharon! Sharon refreshed the life into our relationship and made us feel we had a chance to stay together, in the U.S. She has compassion in all that she does. Sharon takes the time to explain everything. She is there when you need her! Sharon shows the passion and care she has for Humanity in everything she does.
It has been a long road and Sharon has stuck with us the whole time.

Jeff is my favorite attorney. We spent over a year looking for someone to help with our auto accident. No one would follow through. Jeff was professional and thorough from day one. While driving southbound on I-5 in Tacoma an underinsured motorist sideswiped a dump-truck causing it to spin around and go north in the southbound lanes and hitting us head-on. We were crushed between the spinning dump truck, the car that caused the accident and the car that rear-ended us. We hired Schroeter Goldmark & Bender to represent us.
The insurance carrier for the underinsured motorist paid us the limits under their policy. Our own insurance company basically made an offer of zero to cover life-altering and permanent injuries.
Our team at at SGB of Lindsay Halm, Sergio Garcidueñas-Sease, Adam Berger and Alder Burgess took over for us. One of the most important things they did was to shield us from the stone-walling, delaying tactics of our own insurance company to whom we had paid premiums for more than 30 years. From the beginning they handled the case as if it would end up in litigation. You need attorneys like SGB that have your back and are not afraid to go to court if that is what it takes.
They had the added challenge of doing this during Covid. Thank goodness for Zoom conferences. We ultimately got a court date. Two months prior to our court date, we went to medication, via Zoom. We didn't hold out much hope for mediation but we were wiling to make an attempt. What a surprise when the insurance company came to mediation finally willing to negotiate. After a full day of the mediator going back and forth between Zoom rooms, we came to a fair monetary settlement. We are convinced that the insurance company, even then, was only willing to negotiate because Lindsay and the rest of her team were well prepared bulldogs willing to go to court if mediation failed. As they like to say, "This was not their first rodeo".
A car accident is horrible. You need the best attorneys you can find to protect your interests. Besides being professional and knowing the law inside and out, Lindsay and the rest of the SGB team are compassionate and truly care about their clients. We strongly recommend them to anyone who needs their services. Without Lindsay and SGB our insurance company would have paid us nothing.

We had given a rather large sum, over a million dollars, to a non profit organization for the purchase of a religious center. The management failed to do so and even secretly used the funds to invest in a fund. Unfortunately, we did not have a contract or document but just a 2 line email to prove what the money was not a general donation but given for a specific need. It was sheer luck that I found Hozaifa and to this day I say he was a Godsend. He handled the case so beautifully that we won every single motion. The non profit played every dirty game they could and even hired an expensive law firm but their lawyers were no match. Hozaifa was smart, articulate, impressive and very thorough. My father retained Mrs. Johnston for a juvenile criminal matter. Mrs. Johnston was skillful and persuaded judge to try me (a first time offender) and co-defendant (who had a considerable amount of criminal history) separately. A class "A" charge, carrying a 2-5 year sentence was dismissed and I entered a plea on a remaining charge that was a class "C" offense.

I was faced with a nearly decade marriage ending with one of the toughest personalities I've ever encountered in my life as the adverse party. Jenn Kaplan was by far the best attorney I've ever had. I've been represented by a few lawyers over the years and she is the only one that treated me like we were working together and she is amazing at her job. She spent days going through my discovery and looking through legal precedents to prepare for a pre-trial suppression motion that resulted in my charges being dismissed due to 4th Amendment violations. I offered her extra money after the case was dismissed because I was so happy with the results, and not only did she refuse to take it, but she drove half an hour out of her way so I didn't have to wait for the bus in the rain, and explained to me how she was able to use the illegal search to get the evidence suppressed and that the prosecution knew if they lost the motion they would also lose her motion to dismiss. She also does a lot of pro bono work for animal rights and holds seminars for people to familiarize them with the law and how to deal with police officers. She has a 3 part video on YouTube that anybody who wants to know what their basic rights are and how to avoid being tricked by the police into saying something you might later regret. I would recommend her to anybody no matter what the charge. She works hard, keeps you in the loop, and even though she's a brilliant attorney, she explains things in a way that makes you feel like she could be talking to one of her colleagues. I got her number from a friend who's been in trouble with the law a few times, and he said she was the only lawyer who actually made regular visits to visit him in jail to keep him in the loop about his case.

Leah is an Advocate for righting wrongs, I met her as a Prosecuting Attorney, and when my life was altered in an MVA I called Her for advice, and she was willing to take on my Personal Injury case.
