I’ve seen Mr. Budigan defend people in a number of different courts, and help others sue for their rights. Very few law practices are equipped to handle such a generalized case load so well.

I was very very pleased with Ryans performance. He helped me with my case against my landlord when I was taken to court for rent payments. I had been trying to pay my rent on several occassions but because my landlord wants me out very badly, my rent continuously was being refused. Ryan had 10 minutes to review my case and this was a very confusing case. At first I almost took the deal that I was given which was to pay Dec rent and be out at the end of Dec.. then at the last minute I came to my senses and had Ryan fight for me..and a fighting he did.. He did a fabulous job for me. Unfortuneatly, I am being taken back to court for the same thing.

Ryan knows the law and is willing to help. My tenant was thousands of dollars behind on rent. Taking advantage of the moratorium, she refused to pay. (She got a new car, new furniture, etc!) . Ryan worked on the paperwork for me and got action fast.

Stephanie and her team helped our elderly parents navigate the estate planning process with ease. She provided professional guidance to our family in consideration of Medicaid, a reverse mortgage, and veterans' benefits -- all very daunting tasks for the "Regular Joe". Her company is so aptly named because her compassion shone through at every step of the way -- including coming to our parents' home for meetings and signings, and visiting our father while he was in hospice. Without Stephanie and her team, our family would not have been as prepared as we were for essential legal decisions at the end of our father's life. For my sisters and myself, it was truly a gift that my parents had the foresight to plan and that we found Stephanie to be the one to make those plans happen. I had to retain this legal service due to a gross misdemeanor and ended with outcome I could've never gotten myself. Basically, the system is stacked against anyone who even remotely considers self representation, its legal suicide and the court system treats you as much. Whatever you need to do? I got blind-sided by an intense felony DV arrest in January 2011 and charged with some severe crimes. I didn't even know I broke any laws but it looked pretty grim to me after reading the reports. This was really my first time being in trouble and I had no idea how the wheel turned. I was relieved beyond words after hiring Craig Platt and getting information and interpretation from him. Several months later, I started talking with my wife again, believing it was fine since she was initiating it. My stupidity almost got me arrested when she decided to stop talking to me again and report the contact. Craig stopped the arrest efforts and again deflated the situation. In the beginning of this case I was facing a class B felony. With Mr. Platts expertise and knowledge my charge was dropped to a misdemeanor. Considering the circumstances we were looking at at first, I was very pleased with my sentencing. Being a Home Owners Association ( HOA ) with a volunteer board, we were in need of professional guidance to secure the sale of a tract of land that the HOA owned.
The sale required very thorough investigation as to the process, the local regulations, and the CCR's of the HOA.
Mr. Hamell and his team guided us through every step to secure the transaction and communicated with us on a level that we could understand. They were the mediators for us in dealing with the developer and it was actually, dare we say, an enjoyable experience.

This case was involving a car accident. My wife and I consulted with, then hired Jim.

Chris handled our unusual family law case with intelligence, needed flexibility, and legal expertise (which is not to be assumed for any lawyer). He showed real skill at legal argument, in briefs and on his feet in court. He also demonstrated the judgment regarding larger, non-legal issues to warrant our trust in his choices and recommendations for overall approach. I am convinced that if our case had not been reassigned to the worst, most lawless judge in King County Superior Court, we would have had a satisfactory solution. Fortunately, on appeal, the issues were well preserved so that success appears likely at the higher court, (a court of law), and we have Chris to thank for that.

I utilized Karl on two occasions. The first was to update my elderly Mother's will and the second was to update my will and create a Power of Attorney for both me and my Wife.

My father passed away and I was chosen as the estate rep. My parents had used Karl before so I called him. It was a pretty difficult time for me and was very unsure of what to do. After my meeting with Karl I was very relieved to have found him. Flash forward one year and I'm done with the estate and Karl has been there with me the whole time. In the late 90s, I was an organizer during the WTO Protests where I was shot in the face by a nonlethal weapon. Fred Diamondstone stood by my side as I sued the Seattle Police Department for police brutality.

I feel extremely satisfied to have had Fred represent my family when we were injured in a car accident. My husband and I had pre-existing injuries and as a result the insurance company tried to bully my family to end our medical treatment early and threatened not to pay our medical bills. Fred worked diligently to be sure that not only our medical providers were reimbursed but that we earned a fair settlement for our pain and suffering. Fred was a strong advocate and allay to us in a time of great vulnerability. Despite having been through five suits on a related matter with representation from various regional firms, Richard was the first attorney who was able to strategize a response to the insurer that resulted in a global settlement to all claimants. He has an uncanny understanding of how insurance companies think and of their processes and motivations. I've retained most of the major New York City, Chicago, and San Francisco firms over the years, and still never seen the "bang for the buck" that Richard delivered. In any future matter involving insurance, I'd pay his retainer out of my own pocket just to know he was representing us. He is superb.
