Absolutely could not ask for a better lawyer. Jon not only gets the job done, but he is extremely passionate about what he does. This is a lawyer that's not all about money, he truly looks out for the best interest of his clients and his reputation as one of the best, if not THE BEST defense attorneys you can find. He's a straight shooter that tells you the truth instead of what you want to hear, and I think the rest of the legal system respects this very integrity giving him the upper hand with negotiations within. He remembered the littlest details I told him about my case months prior and used them to our advantage, his mind is like a steel trap! The only time he can't be reached is when he's giving another client the same undivided attention you would hope he gives you, and for such a busy man he gets back to you right away every time. I worked with Caitlin for 16 months on my divorce. I got an email stating that I needed to add money to my trust and soon after, while working to come up with the funds, received an email notifying me that she was withdrawing from my case. I had come up with the money and processed payment immediately. She refused to take my calls and there was no changing her mind via email. I have mediation in a month, no representation, and I’ve given her everything I have. I’m still in complete shock and have no idea what options I have now. I should’ve read more reviews because I now know I’m not the only client she’s suddenly dropped like this. I’m happy to correspond further regarding the specifics of my situation at [redacted]. Please don’t make the same massive, life-altering mistake that I did in hiring her.

My husband and I hired Debbie when he filed for custody of his 1 yr old daughter. We were very scared going into this court battle because even though we knew her mother was unstable, courts never want to remove a child from a mother. Debbie was no nonscence in her way of working, she gave it to us straight about what we were facing and what to do. She was very professional and our questions were answered and our phone calls were returned. She did such a great job in court for us we were awrded sole custody. That was 7 years ago and the mother has chosen not to use her visits in 6 yrs, so now we are thinking of terminating her rights and doing a step parent adoption. And Debbie would be our number 1 choice to represent us again.

**Stay away from this firm!!**
~I do not leave one star reviews lightly~
I'm embarrassed to have to say that I was almost duped by this attorney into representing me, but she did get a ton of money from me.
I was with them throughout a retainer and a half and 8 months later for a childless, asset-less divorce. I left their firm with next to no work done that I didn't do the majority of on my own and only the initial petition having been filed and paid a retainer and a half.
I tried to professionally converse with Elizabeth about fees and time frames during the case, and she suddenly withdrew her representation, without any discussion, through an email where she neglected to take any responsibility for her office's inactivity during my duration under their counsel. Even through the inactivity on my case, the fees kept rolling in for reading emails multiple times as well as multiple people reading the same email multiple times. Elizabeth also charged me to tell the court she wasn't going to be in office, and charged me for the people to prepare and file that same copy paste document with changed dates.
I was nickel and dimed, that's all I can say.
I will say that with as easily as she gave in after an email requesting clarification about charges and how I felt that my case was being put on the back burner, I'm glad to see she won't be representing me in court now, as she would likely give up as easily in court as she seemed to wither and run away after just one email.
Steer clear of Elizabeth Christy and find better representation elsewhere, you'll thank yourself.

I would NOT recommend this lawyer. My documents were full of errors that I had to point out and have her correct and then get charged for fixing the mistakes that she made. My name was spelled incorrectly on the final separation paperwork that was recorded with the courts. When I asked her to change the name, she told me "It didn't matter, because it was right every place else and if I wanted my name changed, that I would have to pay for it"
She had to change a single word in a document and charged me 1/2 to do it.
If you do decide to hire her, be very wary.

Dissolution of Marriage has to be one of the more difficult challenges for an attorney to handle these days. Mrs Graff was excellent. She fully explained the process and time line of events. Handled all the paperwork correctly which created an outcome that met everyone’s expectations. At this point I wouldn’t feel comfortable using any other attorney whenever the need arises because she has set the bar to a higher standard.

I hired Anna to complete my divorce case, which was very complicated and messy. Anna fought hard for me and my kids and set realistic expectations throughout the entire process. I could not have had a better attorney to help me navigate my divorce. I ended up being named the custodial parent and preserved a majority of my assets. Anna and her team were very consistent, kind, patient and compassionate. I had not had a good experience with a previous attorney so I went into this guarded and with great hesitation. Steven took my Superior Court Case back in May 2012, I was looking at 6 charges total by the state, 3 of them being serious felonies facing me at 12 years minimum. I WAS SCARED FOR MY LIFE! Steven did not keep intouch with me allot, he only kept me informed when something changed, this was only because he was doing his job... he was fighting for me, not to mention he doesnt like to BS with clients, he's a hard worker, straight to the fighting facts. So in the end I got slapped with 4 months House Arrest over a 12 year sentence... even with my priors thanks to Steven. If i ever had anymore problems in the future i would personally pay the money to hire Steven again.

i have had mister rucker as my court appointed attorney in the past and he was very informative on every thing that was going on with my case and he always tryed to keep me up to date with all or any changes as they happened in my case . he was always available to answer my questions and if he couldnt answer them he would find the right person to answer it for me . he is a very good and fair attorney and i would recommend him to anyone in need of his expertise .

Having worked with her on estate planning, our family has met with her a number of times over the years. This review is based upon multiple in person or phone based exchanges.
The tone of her voice is consistently one of detached irritation which sends a clear message that she is inconvenienced by questions. It takes multiple calls to get her to respond to a simple inquiry. Legal topics are difficult enough; working with someone consistently unpleasant is totally unnecessary. There are so many good attorneys who are professional, friendly and game on, there’s just no reason to settle for anything less. We would not recommend Crystal Lewis as an attorney. We found her communication style and poor follow through extremely unpleasant and unnecessary barriers to an effective and professional client-attorney relationship.

Laura did a great job on our child support, parenting plan, and all family matters. She was excellent at arguing in the court. She was very knowledgable. We had 3 lawyers prior to her and she was most certainly the best. We have since moved out of the area and really miss having her as our lawyer. It has been hard to find a lawyer as good as her. On the other hand her paralegal is an idiot. The paralegal constantly got things messed up and we did have to go over all of her work to be sure it was correct. So be sure to check her work.

I had a great experience with these guys, who represented me in a ridiculous lawsuit brought against me by my greedy, land grabbing neighbors (ahem- allegedly). They helped me save a TON of money so that I could take the fight over the finish line, despite the opposing counsel's constant threats and grandstanding. I was successful in holding onto the property my neighbors were attempting to take from me.

Their mistakes cost me my family and over $10k with a good lawyer undoing everything they messed up. I currently have an open review with the Washington State Bar Association against this firm for its failure in my case. Run as fast as you can away from this firm.

I had a great experience with these guys, who represented me in a ridiculous lawsuit brought against me by my greedy, land grabbing neighbors (ahem- allegedly). They helped me save a TON of money so that I could take the fight over the finish line, despite the opposing counsel's constant threats and grandstanding. I was successful in holding onto the property my neighbors were attempting to take from me.

Told him my expectations and my 4 issues. He was happy to charge me thousands of dollars to always seem to forget that there was more than just one thing to take care of. When I would ask about the other items that he assured me about, he would become condescending and short with me. Didn’t follow thru on the two most important items, and then hindered me from getting the job done myself. His secretary informed me that I could do something on my own to save money then Chris took it away and threw it into the court system which in turn foiled my almost completed task that would have netted me over 25,000 dollars. Now I have nothing but paper “judgements” when I could have gotten my own money . Would NOT answer direct questions and does not keep user friendly invoices to see where your money went. He DOES NOT answer your emails in a timely manner, if at all, yet charges for each email you send. DO NOT RECOMMEND

I was referred to Chris Sundstrom by my divorce attorney who had retired. I had been served contempt of court papers when my spousal support ended at retirement. Chris did a great job and was everything you could ask in representation: efficient, dedicated to my case, on top of my case and very fair in all charges. I wouldn't use anyone else.

His website specifically says he is compassionate and will fight for you! My experience with Chris and Stacy is completely the opposite! If he doesnt feel like meeting with you he will absolutely NOT meet with you or take your call, period! It doesnt matter if you desperately need him. He beats to his own drum. By that I mean he will absolutely NOT inform you of all your legal rights, rather how he wants to control you as his client and the outcome of the case as he sees fit not according to your wishes even if its within your right! He will fight with you rather than for you, that was my personal experience. He was definitely not compassionate in my case whatsoever. I say that because he will threaten to withdraw when you are vulnerable and relying on him completely. He took advantage of me being vulnerable and ultimately settling just to get him out of my life. If you want someone that will hold your hand, he absolutely will definitely NOT do so. Ask him how many times he has been divorced before you ever think of hiring him. He had a absolutely no problem taking my money but NEVER fought for me like he fights for himself to get your money.
