I was arrested for a felony and did not know where to get help. My friend told me to call the Wizard. That nickname is not an understatement. Grant asked me all the right questions so I could gather the necessary evidence that I did not commit the crime. He strategically planned the presentation of the evidence and essentially discredited the witness for the prosecution. Case dismissed! He is brilliant and transparent - always provides straight answers. Need a lawyer that fights, hire Grant, the Wizard!

Going through a bankruptcy can be a scary process. Jeff will take away those fears with his professionalism, knowledge, caring and availability for any and all questions. One point I want to emphasize is the availability. Many attorneys are hard to get a a hold of and it is days before you get your questions answered. Not with Jeff, I never waited more than 24 hours for any answers and in most cases it was right away. You can not go wrong selecting Jeff as your attorney. He will calm your fears and get you to that better life where you are not worrying everyday about your bills. Thanks Jeff for your outstanding work!!!!

Ron clearly knew the ins and outs of estate work, for which we hired him. He made me and my family feel we were in very capable hands after a most trying event, the loss of a beloved family member. Ron returned e-mails and calls almost immediately, often within a few minutes. He was thorough and detailed in his responses and in our meetings as well. He is capable of very assertive conduct when need be but for us as clients he was polite, friendly, and attentive to our questions and needs while being professional. He made certain I understood what I needed to understand (details when necessary) and that I could clearly see the process of dealing with and then later closing an estate in Iowa. Great staff, too. Fast and prompt. I recommend Ron Anderson and his staff most highly.

Mark went above and beyond to help me with a car accident I was in. He took care of everything from working with the other person's insurance company as well as the rental car place. Mark took care of things I would have never known to do, and made sure I was fairly compensated. Unfortunately a few years later I was in another car accident, where my car was totaled. I of course hired Mark again and he did not disappoint. He again took the burden off of my shoulders and made sure I was well taken care of, being compensated both for my treatment and the loss of my car.

Mark helped us with our will, power of attorney, etc. We were admittedly late in getting these things taken care of primarily because we didn't fully understand what we needed or how to get there. Sam did a great job fighting for what I wanted and was very knowledgeable along the way. I came a long way from where I started with Sam compared where we ended up settling. He knows his stuff and will tell you realistically where you stand and gives you insight on both best and worst case scenarios. From a client stand point I didn't know anything about divorce and law and needed information about how the process worked and Sam again did a great job with any questions I had and walked me through the process of divorce and the time table of it all. So happy I was connected with Travis Burk at Hope Law. He did not let the insurance company bully me around anymore. It was funny. Teenage girl hit me and her insurance told me I would nevee get anything for pain or suffering. I hire Travis, finished physical therapy for neck/back injury from whiplash... Travis really took care of things for my husband and I. We were in a near fatal car/truck accident in 2014. He was easy to communicate with and always kept us up to date while fighting for our medical bills and pain and suffering damages vs. the at fault insurance company. Also time off of work and travel expenses, loss of income. We just won our asking amount and are pleased to have this behind us so we can move on with our lives knowing we have everything covered from past medical, along with a nice egg to cover future medical bills and time off work if need be later down the line. We got the max we could have gotten from both the other driver as well as our under insured policy. My niece was rear ended (passenger) in January during ice/sleet on 235 and also hired Travis from Hope Law Office. Nice person and people to work with you at this place. I hired Jim August of 2013 after being hit by a motor vehicle on a bike path, while working. He helped ensure I was getting every penny from Work Comp. while I was laid up for almost 3 months recovering.
He also took the time to contact me and make sure I was doing okay and to see how things had been going. He expressed interest in my day to day, as well as concern.

I was given Debra Hockett Clark's name as their top recommendation from a local Des Moines attorney of a different discipline. Debra and I worked together through my very lengthy and ugly divorce that ultimately went to court. To do over again, I would not change a thing and am incredible thankful I had Debra by my side every step of the way. Debra has very high ethics, is extremely organized and always on top of every last detail that both she and I needed to be doing. She is extremely professional and is highly respected by her competition, the court system and their staff. Debra is a very knowledgeable divorce and child custody lawyer. One of the main reasons I think she is a great lawyer is because she tells it like it is. I didn’t always like what she told me to do but I did it. My situation might be different from most. I was a father of 4 and had primary custody of my children. My ex-wife, after I had remarried and moved on, started calling DHS routinely on us. Debra always handled all of these complaints directly. My ex-wife would take us back to court yearly for unfounded complaints. After the 3rd time Debra had added to my decree if petitioner files and looses the case they will be responsible for all court and lawyer fees. This helped keep me out because The court had always ruled against her. The last instance the court awarded me all of my legal fees because none of my ex-wife’s allegations were proven. this stopped all further court cases. If I was doing something Debra though would negatively effect me she told me to stop. She is an upfront and honest lawyer. She tells you how it is whether you like it or not.

My son was served papers in the evening. My partner reached out and we left voice mails. So Brandon calls me this morning (10/15/20). While I was staring at those prefer of paper thinking about where I needed to start. Who would think a minor fender bender would lead to someone dying a year later. I was in silent freak out mode. I can't even begin to tell you how much Blake did for my fiance and me as we were fighting medical bills. We were going back and forth with our insurance company and getting nowhere when we gave up and hired Blake.
I wish we would have done it sooner!
By staying on the insurance companies he was able to get our case escalated to their legal department and resolved within a matter of weeks. But that's not where he stopped. Our insurance company wasn't paying our claim. This resulted in the hospital sending us to collections. Blake then spent over a month working to get the hospital, collection agency and our insurance company to work together to reinstate the claim and pay it in full. Not a dollar out of our pocket.
He didn't stop there. We were in the process of buying a home and Blake took the extra step to work with the collection agency and the the credit agency to get the collections removed from our record.
He was able to get an insurance company, a hospital, a collection agency AND the credit bureau to all change their stance and help us.
Whenever I have a medical situation, the first person I'm calling is going to be Blake. I wish we had reached out to him over a year ago.

We contacted Austin, who was recommended to us, to see about hiring him for my husband's petition to receive his permanent residency card (green card).
Austin was willing to meet with us on a Saturday morning, which was really impressive. He really listened to us to understand our situation. This initial meeting made us confident to hire him.
We had a tight schedule to submit the petition and related materials, but Austin was aware of the deadline and got back to our questions in a timely manner. He was also great at explaining everything in a clear and concise way so that we would be as knowledgeable as possible.
He went over the final petition with us, and it was very organized and professional. I am confident that this was a main reason that the petition was processed quickly, and my husband's visa interview was scheduled for less than four months from when the petition was received. Austin encouraged us to have a mock interview with him, which proved very helpful. Many things he drilled with us were brought up in the actual interview.
Austin accompanied us to the interview, and both my husband and I felt confident and comfortable during the interview because of Austin's help. In just over a week, my husband received his permanent resident card.
We are very grateful for Austin's help, and highly recommend him as a competent and trustworthy lawyer who is willing to listen to his clients.

I am writing to commend Ms. Sydney Ross on her exemplary handling of my recent OWI on a golf cart case in Allamakee County. Ms. Ross was kind, considerate, aggressive, and most of all knowledgeable about the application of law in all four of my charges. Sydney took the time to understand all facets of my case. She was able to access the discovery materials to determine the inaccuracy of the arresting officer’s assumptions. Those materials also included the blood alcohol level way below the legal limit, which was the explanation for the arrest.
