This is the 2nd time I retained SRB for filing a divorce. I was referred to Susan in 2007 and she asked me "what is your wish list". Since I had 2 little boys to protect from an escalating DV situation - I simply wanted to leave the marriage quickly and painlessly as possible, with half and my sons. A month after the divorce, the recession hit and I was left with a home I could not sell, I was laid off and unable to find employment for a year, mounting debt and I swore I would never let myself get in that situation again. Eventually I started a new career, raised my sons, got out of debt and met soon to be ex no.2. I will provide more detailed reviews once finalized. My life has changed drastically in less than 3 months and having SRB as my angel attorney I feel less worry because I know she will protect and do what is in my best interest always - as she does for all her clients. We all need more people like SRB in the world of family law.

I have been a client of Susan Brown since 2011. My visitation and custody situation is particularly difficult and complicated. Susan has pressed forward over the years to ensure the most appropriate outcome, often has requested, but even if it was not what I wanted to hear. That said, she will fight for you, and the best interest of the child, and is well connected and experienced in South Florida which frankly matters. I was glad she was on my team, and not the opposing counsel.

Anthony Genove is a great Attorney and has a great team working for him, I would even go as far as to say he is one of the best in south Florida. A lot of Attorneys say they care about you but Anthony dose, he may not be able to take you call right then and there but he will call you back in a timely manner. My case dragged on for over four years and Anthony was there all the way to the end, there are many time we would talk about my case till late at night going over all the things we need to do. Unlike some Attorneys Anthony will keep you informed on what's going on with your case and he will tell you the truth about your case good or bad. Tina is a wonderful attorney. She guided me through my ugly case and ultimately her wisdom lead me to successful settlement of my case. She wasn’t afraid to advise me of the pros AND cons of my case, and the legal system which can be brutal, and I always felt like she was being straight with me, instead of just telling me what I wanted to hear like another attorney I spoke with. Tina is quick on her feet and I could also tell that she is respected by judges and other attorneys (by the way everyone treated her when we did have to go to court to finalize the divorce once settled). If you need a strong, confident divorce lawyer who also happens to be a good person, hire Tina Lewert.

I hired Tina after I was already a few months into my divorce filing with another attorney and wasn't getting anywhere. She delivered everything she promised and was able to deal with difficult opposing counsel and my narcissist ex and get my divorce done quickly with the best possible outcome. PAUL H. BOWEN ATTORNEY Just kept taking my money for 3 yrs. or more, approx. 15000.00. without even one court hearing. It was cancelled 4-5 times by Judge. 2- times he did not file paper work on time so, the Judge cancelled. So i had to pay him anyway for nothing. He finally backed out of defense because i would not pay any until we went t court. He said if he lost the case i would not pay him. This man does not care about his clients like all the past reviews. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE; ALL PAST REVIEWS ARE FROM 3-7 yrs ago. No recent ones. P.S. Some reviews say how professional his staff was, he does not have any staff. He is always alone and he rarely returns your calls.

From the moment I met Michael, he was very thorough in explaining the specific details of what I could expect in my divorce case all the way to the day I finally got divorced. I hired Allan for 2 cases and was very pleased with the results. The only thing I wish that I had more of is prep time before the hearing as I did not feel very prepared, or as prepared as I would have liked. In the end I achieved my goal and that was the whole point.

Convinced by others I mistakenly hired another attorney that not only sat there and collected a check but has also played a vital role in the acts of incomprehensible negligent legal malpractice any officer of the court could possible do. My words cannot express the pain and injustice I have and will continuously be going through the next couple of months and years too come. My reputation as professional has been ruined. My stomach turns everyday because I did not listen to my gut and hire Joseph Bryan. I let myself be convinced by others who are only influence by lawyers who have big flashy law firms who preach they do this and do that for their clients on tv, radio , the internet and in the end can't even negotiate forgiveness with a priest. In my past Joseph was hired as my legal representation. At first I didn't see how hard he fought for me, but what I know now is that he did. If theirs one thing I could change other than the nightmare that brought me to this place in my life, its hiring Joseph Bryan to represent me and with my experience so should you.

Joseph Bryan agreed to handle a case for me. I was not sure I wanted to proceed or not. It turned out that I was not going to have to file a suit yet Mr Bryan CASHED MY CHECK FOR FILING FEES and the case was never filed. He took my money and has refused to refund it. I am now having to file a BAR complaint to try and recover the funds. 99% of attorneys give the 1% (the honest ones) a bad reputation. In my opinion he has certainly lived up to the bad reputation many attorneys have.

I have worked in family law for over 25 years. When my cousin needed an attorney, I recommend Karen. I would NEVER recommend her again. She was a complete disappointment including her office and paralegal staff. Stay clear of her!

I am so thankful to Karen Steger and her staff. I suffer from PTSD due to an abusive 23-year marriage. I was so scared to file for a divorce. I quit on Karen a few times but she never quit on me. She got me the best settlement she could under difficult circumstances. You are not just a client to Karen because she cares about you as a person. I know I was very difficult for her to deal with. She took this all in stride and forged ahead. I think the fee she charged was reasonable and she allowed me to make payments. I truly owe Karen my life as she set me free from a nightmare. I hired the best divorce lawyer, Karen Steger. Once you retain Karen Steger, she and her office staff, will start working for you by serving your soon to be ex as quickly as possible. Make sure you contact the office for any questions, such as, to get clarity about filling out the packet, if you need to put a temporary ‘hold’ on the serving process because unexpected things came up, when will your stbx get served, and/or general questions about the divorce process. The office welcomes your communication so they can do the best for your situation during this difficult time.

Ms. Davis represented me in a difficult divorce. My situation was complicated because my husband runs his own business, but Ms. Davis was with me every step of the way. She was always well prepared and knowledgeable. She and her staff were available to speak with me whenever I had questions. Susan was especially helpful. I was happy with with the outcome for myself and my 2 boys. While it is difficult to go through a divorce, Ms. Davis and her team were always there to protect me with getting a fair financial outcome. Ms. Davis is extremely knowledgeable and ethical, and she and her office staff are quick to respond to any questions or issues surrounding a divorce and child custody. Would absolutely NOT hire this firm (Bridgette Domingos’s). Breached her contract one week prior to first hearing without notice and after being solicited by another attorney for hire. Lack of communication during entire three month period and after requesting communication, Bridgette herself stated “one week is an average response time” for an attorney. A formal complaint to the Florida Bar has been done as Bridgette has refused to return any monies paid ($10,000.00) stating she “charges that for bond hearings”. ALL THE ABOVE IS IN WRITING (emails and texts). If you want representation throughout your process DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM!

If you are looking for an attorney to assist you in your divorce, Mr. Keough is the way to go! Do not hire Adam Bragg as your divorce attorney!!! I paid him around $7,000 in total. I provided videos of my now deceased husband nodding out at our son's soccer practices that were only WEEKS before I wanted to take it to court to get full custody of our son (since his father was using fentanyl). He refused to go to court for my son & me even with all of the current evidence I had. My husband died of an overdose a day before he was scheduled to see our son for the weekend. Adam only cares about HIS daughter, not any of OUR children!! I am contacting the BBB about this.

I would like give a zero I recently had a dispute where someone made a false allegation against me. I advised that I wanted to sue them. She never placed the paperwork and I cannot sue them for legal fees. Since she never placed the paperwork. she actually tried to blame me. I am not a lawyer that is why I hired her. Very unhappy. The only way she could have done worse, if she was hired by the opposition. I would not recommend this company to anyone

Justin consulted with me on my divorce and then on a revision of my parenting plan. He gave me a lot of really great advice, and I would highly recommend him. If I were to find myself going through the unfortunate scenario of a second divorce, I would absolutely use Justin again.

My overall experience with Justin Jacobson was excellent. He always made himself available whenever the situation with my ex became chaotic and provided me with excellent counsel and support. Overall, he gave my case all the time and attention that was needed in a sometimes difficult and stressful situations. He was a calming and confident presence during a difficult process. Smith wrote one incorrect demand letter and filed one incorrect complaint. He filed my work product and failed to produce my documents. My documents were extensive and would have forced a settlement discussion. He billed me approximately $12,000 - his paralgal time was $2000. He harrassed me for 9 months involving my new lawyer William Walker. So no work was done while Smith chased me for approximately 5,000. I fired Smith and then Walker. They colluded to get me to pay Smith. They may threaten to sue me for defamation. Their problem is they have NO CASE. I can documenet every word of this review with text and Emails and correspondence. Smith chased me without any legal authority to do so (His fee agreement was contradictory, confusing to all that viewed it including his mediator friend. He is a liar and a bad lawyer. I am 72 and starting with Smith I lost every dime. I paid horrible lawyers over $150,000. Each was unable to negotiate a settlement. Each billed time that they could never justify. I was a paralegal and legal manager, I settled thousands of lawsuits in mass tort, had authority and settled cases for major clients and yet these lawyers cost me my financial life; And a home I intended to leave to my family. Please pay attention. Incompetance is bad, but lies and harrasment seems common in Pinellas County. I will review 5 lawyers - Smith, WIlliam Walker, Carolyn Margolies and Jesse Skipper. My boyfriend has a family case which we wasn't knowledgeable about. We reached out to Mr. Fisher for a phone consultation and he was very pleasant, patient, a good listener and most of all very professional. He answered all our questions and direct us on what to do going forward you would have thought he already handling the case. Even after he gave us that consultation over the phone we needed some clarity on a few things, so I called back and made a second appointment for another in person consultation. Again Mr. Fisher sat with us diligently and answer every questions and concerns we had.. I strongly recommend this lawyer he deserved 10 stars . Remeber this experience is just for a consultation. It was a breathe of fresh air. Kudos Mr. Fisher.

I'm very disappointed in Mr. Henderlite. He was quick to take our consultation fee and give us the impression he was going to represent my mother in her divorce, but when we notified him we were going to retain his services he decided he didn't want to represent her. This required us to pay yet another consult fee to another lawyer. MY mother is 82 and on social security. The last thing she needs is lawyers taking advantage of her.

Hired Mr Henderlite to represent me in an injunction I had filed. Mr Henderlite is nice to his clients but too nice in court. He is not aggressive enough presenting your case to a Judge that has a preconceived outcome. I liked Mr Henderlite but would not hire him again.

I hired Jay at the initial consultation. I wanted a law firm that handled LGBTQ cases for my divorce. I initially made three appointments with different Jacksonville firms and cancelled the other two appointments after my meeting with Jay. He instantly put me at ease by asking how I wanted the meeting to proceed and what were my expectations. He took notes and addressed each question and concern. Jay kept me updated throughout the process and when things were not going the way I hoped, he cut to the chase and presented my options. He always gave me the best case and worse case scenarios.
