They don’t play games while blowing through your marital assets, billing for time spent billing, and expertly unlocking bonus levels of overpriced litigation. I hired Marie Lurie in November 2022 and paid a retainer of $4000 and was promised alimony and the house when contacted her for the first time and explained that my husband abandoned me and do not know where is at and that he has been missing for 2 weeks and find out that he filed for divorce behind my back when I received divorce advertisement in my mail box. She refused to help me and explained to me the divorce process but was sending me paper to fill up I didn’t understand as I’m not from this country. Her assistant Matt Geisser is fully incompetent and at time was nasty to me and when contacted him for his wrong doing he got very defensive and lied. Marie took me for a ride until June 2023 when she dropped the ball just before mediation date and decided not to answer my emails regarding what I needed to do for mediation. I have several witnesses and 2 other divorce attorneys I contacted to help me out while I was paying her to do her job and all text and emails to prove it her negligence. She never never kept me updated on any issues or anything regarding my divorce and at time was nasty when I emailed her about my disappointment and then she would call me on phone so it’s not on paper. She made me believe she operated out of an office but find out it was a PO Box at a mall UPS store. She made me drop off my file in a corner parking lot while I had a fever of 104f that’s when I found out she had no office and also told me that we needed to meet to talk about my mediation at a Starbucks shop off 595 but never gave me an actual address. And then disappeared. One week before mediation date I couldn’t get in touch with her via cell or email and her assistant told me that where she is has limited access to wifi ??? I was forced to hire another attorney at this point costing me a retainer of $10,000. After my new attorney requested all paper work and my billing statement, she refused to send anything after several attempts by my second attorney and finally had her assistant do it but no billing statement at all from her. I continued emailing her for my billing statements as per her retainer I signed and was suppose to keep me updated every month like my second attorney did about the spending etc but still no answer. Finally got it 3 month later after several attempts and asking her to refund what was left due to her minimum work and dragging the case for 7 month for a simple divorce with no child to a very surprising unethical letter. I filed with the The Florida Bar to find out that they are protecting her and it went nowhere as per today March 3 2024. She is absolutely the worst and most unethical attorney you will ever come in contact with. I’m taking my case further as After spending over $20,000 of new lawyers fee putting me in a financial difficulties and also other people I see are taking the same steps and having her investigated as well by Florida Bar that probably not going to do anything as they are protecting each other but will go further with that. Beware of this attorney!!! PS : I didnt put the review up until I got an answer from Florida bar which I appealed the first time and second time with no where to go today March 3 2024.

I retained Mr. Campbell in 2014 due to custody issues, and to this day he is still my attorney for custody/child support issues. My ex is a very manipulative and controlling person and, in the past, I had been very scared to stand up to him; however, with Mr. Campbell and his team by my side I am no longer scared to fight. This was my first time in need of an attorney, so I didn't know what to expect. I was under the impression that, if you Hire an attorney then they take it from there. That was not the case. There was a lot of leg work for me to do on my part. Example: documenting, fact gathering; and remembering places, times, people and things of that nature. Mr Campbell is very personable and easy to talk to. He helped me achieve my goal of getting my children away from a toxic environmen. I am definitely satisfied with the judgment and outcome.

My divorce/custody battle started overseas 4 years ago. When I hired Mr. Campbell the divorce/custody was already done and signed by the judge yet not even 4 months later we were having issues. Mr. Campbell took the time to re-write our custody agreement into plain language and has been by side the entire time. If I have a question on what to do or how to interpret something, he and his team is right there with the answer and guidance. Now 4 years since I have retained him I have had to go back to court with my ex and Mr. Campbell is once again right by side reassuring me, explaining the process (while speaking plain english) and ensuring the right thing is done. What I like best about Mr. Campbell is not only is he going to look out for his client's interest but the interest of the child. He will give you the honest truth about how its going to be looked at and let you know if you truly are in the "right". He's not after your money so rather than waste your time with phone calls and back and forth documentation (which can add up) he let's you know in one shot. He'll give you the facts of what things may cost you, how your case fairs based on the information you have provided and let you decide. In no way is he pushy. With what I have went through over the past 4 years and having to do this as a military parent, I don't know what I would have done without him.

I served half my probation with no violations and both him and his secretary LIED, and said I would be finished with probation after the hearing. Of Course that was their way to lied to get more business and be unprepared for my hearing. His secretary never sent me anything Jonathan Dingus wrote in my brief, never sent me anything the state wrote up in their brief, and really did a half butt job. I guess that is how he hooks in us suckers, by lairing and doing a half butt job

In my experience, this lawyer did not work very deligently. He was very slow on replying to questions and concerns. In addition, he did not seem very knowledgeable of immigration issues at all. So it ended up costing me and my family money and above all time which we didn't have.

I first talked to Edward Panzica when I was arrested for DUI, which was a questionable arrest. Talking to Mr. Panzica at first time he seemed experienced. Little did I know this is not true , he is mostly a family law lawyer. -Mr. Panzica directed me to a DUI school, even though I wanted a hearing to challenge the DMV suspension. I asked numerous times and he left me a nasty voicemail just saying go to the DUI school. Little did I know the DUI school controls your life and holds your drivers license hostage until you jump through hoops , shell out huge cash , and concede to being an alcohol abuser , even if you are not. -I ultimately fired him because he has no knowledge of how anything works, has never defended someone at a DMV hearing and has never filed a writ of certiorari. - He is a terrible DUI lawyer, a basic records search shows he has little to no success ever defending DUI charges. His lack of help during the initial process has wrecked my life. I am still dealing with DMV issues and it has been well over a year. Everything Mr. Panzica told me about the process is completely false. If he had only helped me when I asked on numerous occasions this would have turned out differently.

Mr. Edward (Ed) Horan was hired to fight for the protection of our daughter. Mr. Horan explained the challenges to us, by not being blood relatives, but nonetheless, he put his heart, experience, tenacity and his love for the protection of our daughter and he never gave up. Thanks to Mr. Horan and God, we WON the case. Mr. Horan always sent us detailed invoices that explained the work he completed. My husband and I recommend him to anyone who needs a great, honorable lawyer. In the court room, he is respectful to the judges and other attorneys. He is very known in the leon county courthouse and seems to be respected. He does his homework and KNOWS the right angles and questions to ask whoever is on the stand. You can trust Mr. Horan and the angle he is taking to win and fight for you. Mr. Horan will allow you to bring evidence to him and if it is credible, he will use it. I hired ed about 4 years ago, let's just say everything he had told me went out the window once we went to mediation. I ended up with a horrible agreement that had multiple mistakes in it that the other party used to their advantage. His only advice was for me to hope they didn't notice. I know better now, but was much to trusting back then.

Mr. Bornstein took my case in the middle of a very messy custody trial we I thought all hope of having my daughter was lost. He drove out to Okeechobee for over a year. He counseled me thoroughly before each and ever court date. My ex husband had been extremely abusive to me and I was in extreme fear of him. Mr. Bornstein went out of his way to shield me for interaction directly with my husband. He was aggressive in the court room getting previous motions overturned in my favor. He was compassionate as a person and he fought and won victory for me and my daughter to be free from all the things my ex husband wanted to have in our divorce( like not being able to move out of the county). He promptly answered my numerous phone call and explained every motion and procedure to me in pain terms I understood. My ex husband was finally convicted in criminal court of child abuse. Mr. Bornstein's hard work and perseverance lead to my daughter and I actually living a full life free from my ex husband. I highly recommend Mr. Bornstein even if the cards are stacked against you he will fight for you.

I went to consult Ms. Hughes many years ago when I needed to divorce my abusive husband. I was very distraught and emotional and in need of professional legal guidance and advice. She turned me down outright and refused to take on my case with providing neither a valid reason nor an explanation as to why. She lacks compassion and empathy. I expected better but apparently that was too much to ask of her. Don't bother with this attorney.

I hired Allyson to help me through my divorce. My ex wife was/is extremely high conflict and her attorney's were not much better. They used unscrupulous and dishonest tactics against me to attempt to keep my son away from me. Allyson knew what to expect before it happened and how to handle it. She was very proactive and not reactive which helped me win the 50% custody I was trying for. In fact, I believe had I decided to go to trial, that I had a great chance of getting full custody but I did not want to keep my son from his mother. Allyson did an awesome job of keeping me calm and from reacting in a bad way to the things I was being accused of. I never once doubted what Allyson suggested and the end result turned out exactly how I had planned it. I'm so glad that I used Allyson and not a discounted attorney. I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for and it was evident in court that there was no comparison in the experience between Allyson and the opposing counsel.

After filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau(which includes photos)stating I did not want to pay for a portion of the work that was substandard, Ridge Top Roofing filed a lien against my property. BBB being a mediation platform was unable to resolve the issue so I contacted Moore Law Office and after one phone call from Attorney Moore the case was settled within 2 weeks. I appreciated the depth of knowledge on precise action needed for a quick and satisfactory resolution. Attorney Moore is professional, supportive, and relatable. Ric Woodward is a great divorce attorney. He stood by my decisions and worked hard to get what I wanted. He replied very fast throughout the 2.5 year process. I consider my case a total win as I got pretty much exactly what I had offered my ex husband in the beginning. When others were not prepared during this process, my attorney always was. He was never late, didn’t try to milk money out of me, easily reachable, and prepared (important). In addition, he seems to know a lot of people in the court system and speaks well of others that he does know. It’s just comforting to know you are in respectful and caring hands when going through such a miserable process. Thank you, Ric!

Very professional. Mr. Pickens was very professional during the representation they provided. My case was rather messy, but Mr. Pickens handled the curve balls easily and was straight forward with all his counsel. The issue I have is the lack of follow-up. I contacted him several times with updates in the case whereas his services were needed, but did not want to follow through with the service I expected. He stopped accepting my calls and considered the case closed although it is still ongoing and I still need his assistance , but I received a letter of closure instead. Good representation is very hard to find and Mr. Pickens is a very good attorney and I would use this firm again, but make sure up front that they are willing to see the case to the end.

Caryn is intelligent, ethical, intuitive, patient, compassionate, constructive, quick witted, professional, ingenious and I can probably keep going but one thing I appreciated was her transparency with me. I had a high conflict divorce/custody case and I did not feel it would be over as fast as it was but to my surprise we were able to fully settle at mediation with a desirable result. Caryn was quick to notice important details, was outstanding in her communication with opposing counsel and I felt completely safe trusting her judgment. I'm impressed by her integrity and perseverance. I have looked into a few attorneys but my gut told me Caryn was the one and I'm so glad I listened, I feel like this experience may have been a lot messier without her representation. I highly NOT recommend Mrs. Kay-Ann Waite. I hired her in April and at the beginning she told me it wasn’t going to take too long and it seemed she was going to work hard for me. Then, I had to constantly ask for updates since she didn’t provided any without me asking. It is June now and since 2 weeks ago, I have been calling to her office and sending emails and text messages asking for updates but it seems pointless. If she is not planning to get the job done, I would like to get a refund and hire another lawyer.

My experience with this law firm wasn’t the best. When I was ready to come to a settlement, the remainder of the money I had was immediately used to write up a 5 page settlement agreement (roughly $5,000). I felt egregiously over charged. Staff was nice, but it just felt a little slimy with how the money was handled on my case. Wouldn’t recommend them.

I just wanted to say thank you to Michelle, Diana, Mindy and even Tiffany (the bill collector) for the work you have done for me thus far in my case. I am a father fighting to regain custody and jurisdiction of my childeren after their mother left the state without consent and has been doing anything and everything to prevent me from being in their lives. Although this process has taken far longer than I would have ever expected, you guys have done a stand up Job for me even during my darkest days. They say there are angels among us and I have found one in Ms. Ray. Her expertise in family law was impressive during our first meeting to file for divorce.
