This attorney gave me bad advice cost me $13,000 as of right now due to his bad advice on top of it. He did absolutely nothing but get me deeper in debt. This man is as dishonest as the day is long. Do not hire this attorney at any cost elsewhere. He never returned text messages. I would Go for extended periods of time never hearing from him and when you did try to give him information, he complain worst Attorney I’ve ever used and I have to have to file a complaint with the Florida bar because of him he’s done nothing but caused me financial difficulty. He’s destroyed my credit DO NOT HIRE HIM ! I now have to hire another attorney to do what he could not do! I now have to file a complaint with the Florida bar because of the situation that this attorney got me into and he is completely responsible for this situation. I’m bad advice from him and here he is billing me for the problem he caused it’s insanity.

I just had my final divorce hearing . I feel so lucky I found such a professional, caring attorney and team . Rachel listened to everything I had to say . She addressed any concerns I had along the way . She promptly answered emails and phones calls. Rachel and her staff showed such compassion to me . While they deal with this everyday they knew I was scared and hurt and treated me like I wasn't just a job . She even gave me tips on how not to run thru my retainer with wasted correspondence. DO NOT RETAIN SHAZIA SPARKMAN OR SPARKMAN LAW TO REPRESENT YOU! I retained her on very short notice without doing my research AND BOY DID I PAY FOR IT. Her office is understaffed and her Legal Assistants turned over 3 times in less than a year. NEVER PRODUCED AN INVOICE, BUT ALWAYS ASKING FOR MORE MONEY. She was late to every meeting, in person or ZOOM. Her office filed incorrect Financial Affd. with the court, in short, I FIRED HER. My new Attorney has requested over and over for her office to release all of my information to no avail. Even the opposing attorney was disgusted with her lack of response and I am having to produce again. If I had the multitude of errors coming out of my office that she had come out of hers, I would be out of business. Only now am I seeing all the bad reviews about this law firm...hind site is 20/20...stay clear of this firm.

Shazia is compassionate, she truly cares about her clients. She is intelligent & professional. She is amazing we couldn’t have found a better attorney. After the bad experience with the last attorney she has definitely done a total turn around. Shazia is so great at what she does, she is aggressive when needed, she stands up for what’s right, and she will not allow others to abuse the system and get away with things that are not right. Joshua Bickman is the lawyer you want on your side plain and simple. Mr. Bickman is an experienced litigator who will fight for you tooth and nail. I must admit my situation looked grim and Mr. Bickman never once at any point in time led me to believe that everything was going to be sunshine and daisies. He was always very clear and concise in regards to the possible outcome of my divorce, good and bad, whether you wanted to hear about it or not, that is his job and he is very good at it. After my spouse past away, Kathryn Robbie was extremely helpful in making sure I wasn't held responsible for my spouses house mortgage. The house was not in my name and didn't want to take ownership. She had contacted the banks lawyer and had to appear in court on my behalf numerous times until the matter was settled. I would highly recommend her. She is thorough and follows thru until resolution.

Dear Readers over a period of less than one year on a sensitive matter he then handled as an associate at Don Mcbath firm in Tampa; Luke was the primary person on my case. He was very thorough although production and fee oriented due to Don probably...Luke is smart and no doubt very very good and comfortable in court. When we dissolved our agreement with Mr. Mcbath i was put in a very hard place but Luke did take the time at no charge to followup with me and many many years later take my call give me some advise and make a curious refund of $20 to me - odd?
I has aged and become sage v. the associate I first encountered and got a good lesson from a very complicated case and me a devil of a client. I think he is now on the best path.
Realize he is thorough and that will cost but he is smart and efficient, likeable and a gentleman and a good smart business person.
Overall he should become board certified and a mediator - otherwise a very very good man and attorney - and cheap at his then rates...he was a production mill working the other side with a fever pitch. He really was good but his boss not so much and that caused him to have a lot of issues with my case matter.

Hired her for a simple divorce and was quoted a fee of $1500.00.
The divorce took much longer than expected and a complaint to the Florida bar about the progress. Very unprofessional and in the end the fee was almost $4500.00.

Kelly was hired by me to help with a custody issue. There were very specific issues and the case was not an easy one to battle. ER motions had to be filed and there was a lot of legwork needing to be done. The other side had no willingness to negotiate or even communicate. Kelly was amazing at maintaining communication, was always professional, provided clear guidance, was fair in her costs, gave honest opinions as to possible outcomes and very obviously had the respect of the local judges. She is a strong advocate for her client but also keeps the children's best interest in mind when children are involved.

Quick to respond to new clients, once the contract is signed you get put on the back burner and he gets to you when he gets to you. I was ghosted for three weeks. I do not advise this lawyer for anyone needing anything that needs quick attention. He's cheap because he is a one man show. Spend a little more and get better representation. I spent over 2k and got zero results. I ended up firing him and hiring a different attorney.

Atty. James Kannard updated and created a new Operation Agreement instead of a Partnership Agreement. He properly advised that with an LLC- you need to go that route. He did so with great skill and professionalism. He was easy to talk to. He charged precisely what he specified and completed the task on time! I was dealing with a very complicated Family Law case and found Mr. Spence out of luck. I didn't have much money and when contacting him he made me feel at ease. He stood by me and kept me informed the entire time. I've always gotten the impression that attorneys were all about their bank account. We worked the hiring details out and he committed himself to the entire divorce and child sharing process. My case was appeals multiple times and unfortunately took years to resolve. He never let me down or made me feel he like he was all about the money. He is compassionate and understanding. AND he still takes my calls even though my case is closed. After all of the time and effort he put in - it paid off !!! He is a great attorney. I have sent multiple people his way and I would definitely hire him again!

We hired Ms. Simms to handle a child support issue for us in Florida as we reside in Arizona, and she did an amazing job! Ms. Simms went above and beyond for us not to mention her prices were great! After an extensive search and consultations with almost 10 attorneys, I chose Lakeisha Simms to handle my Child Support Modification case. Modification petitions are usually straight forward but mine had a few complexities to it that Ms. Simms handled competently and admirably.
Nearly every one of her predictions regarding how long the process would take to resolution, what I could expect, etc., were all dead-on accurate.
Ms. Simms was professional, courteous, and usually responded quickly to any questions and concerns I had; all that in spite of losing one of their assistants during a very busy time.
Furthermore, the Coleman Law Groups' rates are VERY reasonable, their billing / invoicing procedures and reports are clear and easy to understand.
The level of service one receives for such reasonable rates holds a very high value proposition to me.
I would not hesitate to recommend Ms. Simms and the Coleman Law Group.

I hired Cynthia for a child custody case. On the positive side she always responded to my concerns and provided time for my questions. On the negative side I felt that she was just trying to get my case off of her caseload in the fastest way possible by settling. I did not feel that she was willing to fight for my side, as I would expect my lawyer to do.

I don't usually write reviews, but this case was deserving. My family member had the bad misfortune of choosing Mr. Gallagher for his attorney. Right from the onset of the case he showed his lack of respect and incompetence for his client. He held on to the paperwork for his filling so long that my family member became the defendant where he should have been the plaintiff. Mr. Gallagher continued to to take his sweet time filling documents to the point my family member was reprimanded by the court! Mr. Gallagher to show a lack of respect for his client and the court by on more than one occasion falling asleep in court and not ounce objecting to anything. In my humble opinion Mr. Gallagher should be sanctioned or DISBARRED!

First and foremost, I want to point out that I do not write reviews often but due to my experience with Mr Gallaghers law firm I feel the need to warn those of you who work hard for the money you need to now spend on lawyer fees. At first glance this office presents itself as a “Father’s Rights” attorney that is willing to fight for your best interests. Once you have paid your dues you will just become another number and solely an income source. On July 30th I paid my retainer fee and signed all necessary paperwork for the firm to file my case (this was after I had to correct them due to many errors in the petition regarding my case that I spoke to them about in detail prior to our meeting). They did not file my case until a week later on August 6th. They were fully aware that time was of the essence due to the mother attempting to relocate my son without permission. Thankfully, I was adamant with them about being in contact with the process server once the case was finally filed because that is the only process that went semi-smoothly. They then filed a motion for contempt; after I expressed frustrations that the mother completed the move; without advising me that my case was not at the stage for a motion of contempt to hold up being that the petition had not been responded to as of yet. Of course, this cost a part of my retainer. I set up an in person meeting under the assumption I was going to be speaking with Kenneth Gallagher. My appointment apparently was with the secretary, Dale. He attempted to reassure me by letting me know that after my case is finally complete hopefully, I will be a little more at peace with a time-sharing schedule that will allow me weekends and holidays with my son. When I hired this firm, I was very vocal about what I wanted going in and being a weekend father was not it. My main goal was keeping my son local so that I can continue to be in his life full time and shared 50/50 custody. After this meeting I realized hiring this firm was a huge mistake. Going through the paternity process in courts when the other party is being difficult can be overwhelming and frustrating. & during this weak, stressful moment in my life the Law Office of Kenneth Gallagher chose to remind me every day of my current balance with them and that I would need to “add funds soon”. Montine, the paralegal in the office, is rude and does not at all empathize with her clients. Every phone call to their office felt like I was a burden. The only time I actually spoke with Kenneth Gallagher himself was prior to hiring him during the consultation and once more when he filed the motion for contempt. The last thing this office was supposed to handle for me was to provide a mandatory disclosure of my financials which I provided to them in full. Over 15 documents that I put together and organized for them for easy filing. THIS PAPERWORK WAS NEVER FILED! I fired Kenneth Gallagher and his office on 9/15. As of that date I have paid $3500 to them, and they are demanding that I still owe them over a grand. I have since hired a new lawyer and was attempting to gain access to all the documents I had sent to Kenneth Gallaghers office being that none of it was ever filed. My new Lawyer contacted the firm and spoke to Montine, which she confirmed was extremely rude to her as well, only to be turned down and told I am not allowed access to my personal files due to an open balance with them. The only thing this office did for me during the 6 weeks I was a client with them was file my initial petition, file a pointless motion for contempt and rob a hard-working father just trying to establish his paternal rights. I strongly encourage you to call a different attorney, one that cares about you, unless you want to take the chance of throwing away your money and ending up with a story like mines.

My mom and I had the displeasure of talking with Cynthia Nunn from Leighton Law to discuss going after Orlando Health for their negligence in treating my dad's cancer, which led to his passing. Not only did she make us relive our nightmarish story that we had already submitted online, she wasted our time by shutting us down immediately. If she was going to say no, why make us relive the trauma? To add insult to injury, she was actually defending the negligent doctors in question and straight up told us that our loved one was going to die anyway. Whether that was true or not, you do not just say that so nonchalantly to other people. You would not like that if someone said that about your dad. I am almost glad they did not take our case because I would rather deal with the devil himself than deal with Cynthia and Leighton Law after the added emotional damage she did to us.

This attorney will over bill and delay your case. Her general manger is her husband. She will have her husband perform work on a case such as appraise you house and/or perform comps for your home. All billed separately without the client knowing it is her husband doing the work. She will wait till the last minute to prepare for a hearing if at all. She hires her friends to do fiduciary duties for fees without informing the client of possible conflicts. Ingrid will use up retainers just during the internal case handling. When she moved she had to file paper work for each case and billed the clients for each filing even though it was her that caused the notices to be filed the client had to pay for the notice that were filed even though there forms were all the same expect for the case heading. All were billed the same amount. I would say 75% of the good reviews that are posted are from friends and employees that she either asked (friends) or told to post (employees) good reviews. I immediately came to leave a review for this attorney. This is based strictly off of her personality and not legal work. I was referred to her through my job's EAP service. After doing a quick google search to see if she would be a good choice, I set up the free consultation. Initially she seemed nice and like she was interested in what I had to say. However, after discussing my current legal matter, which is very serious, she then tells me as she is smacking her food, that she doesn't give second opinions behind another attorney. Now, I had mentioned several times that I currently have an attorney and that is partly why I was in the situation I was in. At that point, she could have cut me off and stated she doesn't go behind other attorneys to give advice. But no, she waited right until 2 mins before the 30 mins was up to cut me off and say, I don't give second opinions, sorry to waste your time, bye" and hung up. With all the pain that I endure with my legal battles; I will not let her rudeness discourage me. Compassion goes a long way, luckily if one lawyer doesn't work the EAP will find another one, hopefully one that will not be as dismissive as she was. I hope no one else experience what I just did with her. I would also hope that if she is ever in a predicament that is giving her pain, that someone will show her compassion.
