I hired Tony to represent me in a Business dispute. He did win the dispute. But I had told him that I wanted the person I was suing to pay for my legal fees If I won. His attorney had listed that stipulation on paper work that was sent to us. I had noticed Tony had not used that phraseology in our paper work to him. I said to Tony we need to add that statement to our paper work. His answer was that it is common sense and everybody knows that you loose the case that you are responsible for the other parties case. Well $6,500 later we won . So I wanted to get the defendant to pay Tony’s fee. we went to court. Judges decision was for me not to collect because he Tony did not list it on paper work. Tony’s reply was I owe you one. Guess what I went to collect and never he would call or meet with me

Phil & Martha were such a joy to work with through my car accident. It was my first time being an accident where a lawyer needed to be involved and it was extremely intimidating. Phil made me feel like no matter what happened everything would be ok and we would work through it. Lack of honesty, knowledge, experience and ethics, just to mention a few. It’s interesting how some friends and employees post good reviews for him, and my previous review was deleted. Abandoned my paternity case after filed many wrong pleadings and motions, presented frivolous demands, lied in court and didn’t follow and comply with the due process in my divorce. I hope He will be investigated and sanctioned for misconducts and neglect behavior by the Florida Bar.

He is been reported many times for malpractice and unethical behavior in the Florida bar, and now may be under investigation for some illegal practices. I cannot recommend Chad Self and his paralegal, Angela, enough. Mr. Self was caring and compassionate during the most difficult time in my life, ensuring that all of my options were explained at each step of the process and all concerns were addressed in a timely manner. I have a hearing in 1 week . They originally scheduled a consultation for me last week with Erin, but cancelled it due to the power outage . Today when I called at scheduled time they told me that I don’t have an appointment, then later they said that it’s with a different attorney ( which I wasn’t aware of ) . I said that no one told me that that it was scheduled with a different lawyer, but I still agreed to speak with them. Assistant placed me on hold and then she told me that I need to call my legal insurance to let them know that it won’t be a good fit . When I asked why - the receptionist told me it’s because of my tone of the voice and dissatisfaction during our conversation .

They never made me feel guilty about anything but assured me that these things happen unfortunately. I contacted Mr. Reissman regarding my Chapter 7 bankruptcy and expressed various concerns about my case. Marshall promptly addressed these issues, providing solace in a naturally stressful situation. The communication with his office has been exceptional, arguably the finest I've experienced with any law firm. Although I realize I'm not their sole client and callbacks may require time, the staff and Mr. Reissman appear to be remarkably proactive in their communications with clients.
During my case, I was consistently informed about the proceedings and the necessary information I had to submit.

This firm.files lawsuites about cases they nothing about. They misinform the court with lies. Thry schedule hearings withoit notifying opposing attorneys and they harass the people they sue by srnding them.letters and not their attorneys. They lie to other attorneys and tell them thst they are dismissing cases and they keep them active so the person they are suing doesnt respond. A real.sleaze bag firm.

Though there are no winners in Family Court, Ryan does exactly as he says with the children's best interest at heart!!! He has been more than open and honest about what we should file, if it's needed or a waste of my money, time, results etc... He always answers his phone and gets back to you very timely. My previous atty of 8 years would never have been so forthright! I definitely recommend Ryan Hamilton!!!!!

I would highly recommend Brandon. The first attorney I used for my divorce, left off one detail, when my ex-wife was supposed to send me my funds. my consultation with Brandon didn’t go so well from my standpoint, there was nothing I could do. But he said give me a few days to think it over and low and behold he came up with a resolution for me called a petition we could file that if successful the court would sell the house so I can get my proceeds. Just the fear of that and several emails and phone calls on his behalf. Turn the tables.

When I called Kendra to ask if she could help with a prenuptial agreement, she basically laughed at me like I was an idiot because I was calling on short notice. I felt like she was chastising, and belittling. That was my opinion of her at least. Needless to say a found a different family law attorney who was able to help and didnt give me an attitude like I should have known better. I can not say I would or wouldn't recommend her, but I will say that she was a very rude and condescending woman.

I needed an attorney that could cut through the "games" played during a divorce and provide intelligent guidance leading to a fair settlement. I wasn't looking for someone to assist me with a one-sided arrangement. Fair is fair... and I insisted upon it.
Kendra was excellent at keeping me centered and grounded (and patient even when the ex clearly wanted to drag things out). There were a couple of times that I needed to be firmly brought "back on track" to stay out of trouble - and Kendra was very effective at communicating this message to everyone.
While I don't wish a divorce on my worst enemy... I'd definitely recommend Kendra to anyone seeking solid family legal advice.

Abigail Beebe and her legal team were very professional throughout the course of my divorce. I live out of state , so Abigail was referred to me through a friend of mine. We actually never met face to face. My divorce should have been pretty straightforward, as there were not a lot of assets involved, but it dragged on for a year and a half. Whatever materials that were requested I always promptly provided, whatever questions I had Abigail and her team responded in a timely manner, and I was not billed unnecessarily. The most deceitful, dishonest, unethical human being I've ever met.
Not only will she outright lie, she will go so far as to attack the children involved!! My Bible tells me that there is a special punishment reserved for those who do harm to children. A millstone & being tossed into the sea is mentioned specifically. This type of abusive behavior most certainly qualifies.
She has no moral compass & will resort to the sleeziest methods just to win. Lying and manipulation are just part of who she truly is.
I am personally filing an ethics complaint with the Florida Bar.
If you value honesty & have an honest love of children and doing the right thing, avoid her at all costs.

I hired Eric in July 2023. He was the only lawyer who would take my case. I'm so grateful he did and had the courage to take on the case. It was a pretty strong case in my favor, yet he still had to be crafty with certain decisions to ensure my outcome. Sometimes, it appeared he was a bit scatter brain, but as a one man show, it's understandable, and after a few minutes of talking, he would know who I was. That didn't bother me, though. He made many suggestions and most were accepted by me. When I felt we should do something different, he gave me his input, but ultimately went with my decision. At the time of the case, the Good Dad Act was passed and put into law here in Florida. He did not know about this. I think doctors, mechanic, lawyers, etc, should remain up-to-date with current info relative to their line of work so they always have the edge. He said that new law doesn't change anything in terms of what we need to do and how we would argue the case. He has handled many cases and, based on my facts, made the necessary recommendations, which ultimately turned out in a win for me and him. I now have shared custody of my daughter, but she has to live with me instead of mom the majority of the time. His price was much better than most in town. He was aggressive with his approach, which I appreciated. The case was resolved April 2024. Thank You Eric for your hardwork. I would recommend you to others.

Worse lawyer in Florida. She is only after your money. Terrible communication. After she took my $10,00.00 for land deal my husband was doing and I felt like I needed an attorneys advice on the matter she suggested a divorce and went with it. After our one and only consultation of which she charged me $500.00!!!!!!! For. I never heard from her again. I told her time was of the essence. I needed a cease and desist letter immediately. Never got it or anything else. She is a sad sad case FOR AN attorney. She should not have a law license to steal because that’s what happened. I had to get the FLORIDA Bar Association involved. She has still not responded to me. She wrote a nasty text to my son saying I was cyber stacker her and that I had abused my call privileges because I did call her everyday for months and months and she never returned any of my calls. Her staff, which there were many who answered the phone in her office, said they would leave her a message but no never got a call from her. After she got my money ; I was dirt. I tried every way to get in touch with her to no avail. DO NOT USE THE WOMAN. SHE IS A CROOK AND A THIEF. I signed a contract that said nothing about a non refundable retainer fee. Then that contract was deleted. Months and months of calling , texting, emailing, leaving messages on her door asking for a copy of the contract I finally got a different eight page contract that she or her sister, who works in her office and is very rude, sent me where they had forged my name on. IT WAS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY.

I hired Bob to work on my case seeking legal action to be taken against several contempt instances, timesharing increase, child support reduction. The case lasted about a year and a half, during that time I provided evidence supporting contempt against a standing order as well as parental alienation which my ex even admitted to on the Talking Parents App. During the build, I was assured items such as attorney fees and legal actions against the contempt evidence would be a walk in the park. The day before the trial hearing, Bob informed me that neither of which were going to be obtainable, and the only items on the docket were timesharing and child support. I asked for one item to be put in place and that is a direct line of communication to my child, the topic was discussed and granted, however Bob allowed for the opposing attorney to write up the order where she deliberately not only left that part out but noted the complete opposite. When I approached Bob about this, he said that it was granted showing that he never even opened the filed order. Bob also allowed for the opposing attorney to factor in VA disability as income, while the legality of that is subjective, what is not is the fact it is federally protected and cannot be garnished (within the parameters of this case). As a result, my child support doubled, and my employer has noted that the legal limit for garnishment has been met.
Since the hearing I have reached out to Bob several times with no response. To fix this I somehow need to come up with thousands more while being the sole provider to a household of three to include a small child. I am writing this in hopes someone looking for an attorney does not make the same mistake I did in acquiring the services of Bob Stein as I assume you yourself will be piggybacking on this thread.

He wouldn't prep me for the hearing. "Forgot" about the hearing. I think he "forgot" because he knew he didn't have a law license that day.

After my case had dragged on for an eternity, I hired Gale Moore. Not only was the case resolved quickly, she got a much better result than the "best-case scenario" I was promised by my previous attorney. Not only that, but she handled it in a way that I knew exactly what was happening at each stage of the case. I hired Tayane Oliveira with the expectation that she would help mediate a family matter and simplify the process. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Instead of streamlining the issues, Tayane's approach only made matters more complex and resulted in significant expenses. It felt as though her focus was more on benefiting financially rather than genuinely assisting her client. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend her for simple legal services. I was forced to file a motion to withdraw her legal expense at additional costs.

Sharon was incredibly motivated, but obviously operating under very immense stress levels. My case was very high conflict with many complexities, but Sharon often seemed annoyed when I asked for advice. In the short time she represented me, she frequently complained that she would rather be doing anything else than deal with my case. This made it very difficult for me to approach her with anything, and the working relationship quickly deteriorated. Regardless, I really liked her, and I believe Sharon is a good attorney. I still sincerely wish we could have worked things out. I think maybe she has just reached the burnout level in her career and should consider retiring or doing mediation full-time instead.

If I could give less than one star, I would. Jamie is all too happy to take money, but not happy to be held accountable for the job for which you hire her. She and another lawyer screwed me and my kids, and when I begged and pleaded for her to fix it, make it right. She told me it wasn’t going to affect me and she didn’t know why I was worried about it (see attached email response). To this day, it does affect me, and my children, and she simply didn’t care to make it right after happily accepting thousands of dollars. I am still dealing with a case that she didn’t fix and reached out again to try to have her resolve but she doesn’t even bother to answer. I had to file a bar complaint for her to respond only for her to tell me she feels she did her job. If that were the case why doesn’t the state recognize the order she filed and why won’t she fix it? This lawyer has no integrity, so if you want someone who will take your money and offer no help, this is the lawyer you want. She is overpriced and doesn’t even do her job. It’s a wonder she hasn’t be disbarred.

I had a horrible experience with Icard Merrill, I retained Lindsey Meshberger for a divorce case. There was a constant lack of communication but the 3 biggest problems were #1) changed her hourly billing, one month after retaining her and then when I asked about it, I received no reply. #2) Told the judge in court that the reason she lacked information on my case is because she just received the case when she had the case for 4 months prior. #3) I was not even informed of a case management hearing that I had until it was over and couldn’t participate. At this point, I don’t know whether to consider this maltreatment racist or negligent. Her paralegal, Kathie Summa was god awful and argumentative whenever approached with any concerns. This is an honest review from my very REAL experience with ICard Merrill. I understand that everything can not go my way in a case but there is a level of professionalism and transparency that should be handled with any business, that was not done with ICard Merrill.
