She is tough as nails, knows her stuff (practicing for more than 30 years in Family Law) and will tell you like it is. She got me a fair and reasonable parenting agreement as well as the child support I was due and owing per New York State -- something which I had not even considered.

I retained Ms. Baritot to handle my divorce. Many of my questions either went unanswered or were answered in such a way as to be confusing. Had this been my second or third divorce, I most likely would have had more of a grasp of the situation and I usually got the impression that she had more important clients and could not spend time explaining matters to me. Divorce is a demoralizing, stressful, life changing event. Patience and an empathetic nature are important and necessary virtues that divorce attorneys need to possess. Perhaps Divorce Law is not or should not be Ms. Baritot's area of expertise.

Bradley literally admitted he didn't know how to handle my case. That should have been my wake up call to fire Cordell & Cordell. I think he was literally fresh out of school, so in all fairness, if he's gotten some experience at a good firm, he might become a good lawyer, but I'd steer clear.

This guy collected more than $6000 from me and did not even glance at the notes I provided him prior to walking into court.
The guy shows up to a rural county court 45 minutes late and blames "traffic". Then he got owned in the lone hearing which he represented me by kid-lawyer with no case but who was prepared. He then tells me that opposing counsel has a new proposal which he'll forward to me - turns out the proposal was not new, I already received it two weeks prior, and provided him with detailed notes related to the proposal immediately. He neither read my notes or recalled that he already sent the proposal.
He was either wrong about, lied about or simply took no action related to the only two important legal questions I asked him during the consultation. He's either incompetent, dishonest or lazy. My guess is lazy.
I'm now on the verge of losing my children, home and career and have been forced to find new representation.
You are better off representing yourself. If you are in the market for an attorney then you have too much at stake to roll the dice on this guy or this firm. Had I done so I'd have and extra $6000 and no worse off legally.

Allison was my divorce attorney , she is absolutely the best attorney ever !!She got me everything I deserved and more !!My X. Husband didn’t want to get divorced so I got divorced alone with Allison Rockmore , she got me my house , health insurance , child support all paid for by x husband also , x husband put on stay away family court ,
I get 1/2 his pension , and now 3 years later she got me an extra year of child support and health insurance for my self ,

Allison had been referred to me from one of my friends who Allison helped get custody of her children in a very poisonous relationship. The $3,200.00 balance of my unused trust/retainer fee was not returned. At my request she formally withdrew her representation of me in December of 2018. She never returned my owed balance. She said the check was in the mail, that was 9 months ago now.

I contacted Eurydice Kelley almost a year after I had already retained another attorney, who was pressuring me to settle my divorce action, because she did not want to take my case to trial, due to the complexity of the issues. Things were stalled and going nowhere. I had already spoken to several other attorneys, who declined representation as soon as they learned of the complex issues involved. One of those firms highly recommended Eurydice Kelley.
Eurydice agreed to meet with me in person for a consultation. She listened to my whole story and was extremely patient with me. She took notes and asked me a lot of questions to help her better understand my unique situation. Eurydice agreed to take my case. The sheriff came to serve us at 9PM for family court. It was a restless night for all of us. I started googling at 6AM the next day, as you can imagine, all the lawyer’s officers are closed even the ones that states they are open 24/7. Most of the lawyer offices in my area open at 9AM, I noted that the Law Office of Nick M. Frisco open at 8AM. I held back until 8:02AM, it rings and rings and bang, Fatima, the paralegal answer. I explained we needed advice and counsel to navigate thru the court’s virtual world with this return of process emergency summons. Within, 20 minutes, Fatima put us in contact with Nick Frisco. We explained the situations and the expected outcome we were asking to get. He told us to provide a summary, get school records, medical records, letters from the teacher, etc. and accepted our case. Nick explained that we need to leave our emotion out, only speak when spoke to and maintenance a positive attitude. The hearing was the next day. During the hearing, Nick discussed the facts and merits of the case and the best interest of the children. The children mother kept changing her story about our arrangements. The judge reminded the children mothers about lying under oath.
Sorry for the long write-up but I wanted to explain our situations, the quick turn around and the sense of urgency.
I would strongly recommend the Law Office of Nick M Frisco for family court. In order has been issues so the children mothers will need to follow the courts order. Nick and Fatima are a great team and may a big difference on the outcome of our court.

My children's mother took my kids to a NYC Shelter in order to get a bigger apartment. She said I refused to give her my daughter when you has are listed in her HRA case. I hired Nick to fight my case and I will do it again within a heart beat. I am getting the kids back to our original agreement.

In the beginning of my custody case Mr. Frisco was asking me questions (and making statements) that made me wonder who's side he was on. For many months during the case, his communication in email and verbal was usually combative and condescending, and every time I spoke with him he tried to convince me to settle for what my petitioner was offering, and had no regard for how little time that would allow me to spend with my child. On the last day of the case, minutes before trial started, he argued with me and yelled at me in front of people in the waiting area- pulled a guilt trip on me for not agreeing to what was being offered, which I gave in to, and turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes of my life. Do NOT hire Nick Frisco, and if he is appointed by the Court, I strongly recommend that you request a different attorney.

This Law Office has been handling my case for 3 years… I had an accident on August 1st of 2021 and it is now August 14th 2024 they haven’t been active or helping and I have only spoken to my attorney once and it was after I said that I would be looking for a new firm since than they haven’t been contacting me or letting me contact them, when someone does eventually answer they say one thing and then hangout when i respond, they also call from multiple random numbers when they do call so I’m beginning to think this is a scam stay away from this law office.

There aren't enough words in the English Language to express how grateful I am to have had Borrelli and Associates P.L.L.C represent me on my employment matter. This was my first time needing an employment attorney. In this particular instance, I needed an employment attorney to follow up on a very difficult matter that warranted an extremely experienced firm that handled employment law. He responded to each and every question I had and always gave me step by step updates on his communication with the other party. Steven Witkowicz is a liar and a cheat and can't be trusted, lies to your face and makes deals, takes payoff and brides with your opponent behind your back to work against you, I learned this the hard way. Wade took my case in 2012 to best honest I didn’t have the money to pay him . He made a payment plan which help .. He was there when I was to get my stamp in my passport for work purposes.., he was there for my 2 court dates he was there in the office for my citizenship interview…he wil call me from time to time to make sure to make I was ok ..
He change my address to his office which was great because I had moved hes an excellent lawyer I got my monies worth … and my case was a deportation case THANK YOU WADE

He still doesn’t have his paper he needs to lose his practicing license. Very rude to non-speaking clients. Never in his office. Change your personal address to his own office or home. Don’t give you receipt for your application. Personally I believe cause my friend is black. So I’m putting a petition on wade Johnson for abusing his position to gain whatever.

Hired Mr. Arnoff because he assured me during my free consultation meeting that he could prepare a compulsory accounting for my probate case in Riverhead Surrogate’s Court- after six months of trying and having the court reject his prepared accounting and then having to tutor his assistant on how to prepare it, he ended up hiring an accounting firm at an additional expense to my estate to finally prepare it correctly to suit the court’s protocol. In my opinion, overall I was not satisfied with this law firm and would not recommend them. I had to keep an eagle eye on their invoices to me as well after they charged me for my free consultation- they made many errors on my monthly invoices, which they adjusted once I pointed them out.

Harvey did a fantastic job for me and my children. I walked into court confident with the knowledge that he was the more experienced and professional attorney. He always made sure I had copies of everything he had done and that I was well prepared for each day in court. On the down side, it sometimes took the better part of a day for a return phone call, but he was none-the-less always responsive. His office staff was highly professional and very caring. I hired Charles for my divorce and although my divorce was finalized pretty quickly, I am very unhappy with how things went. He confused me on two separate occasions with a different client, with one time having an entire conversation about 'going to court' before realizing he had the wrong person. My documents written were too vague and had to hire an additional lawyer to write an addendum upon hearing that my divorce was finalized. I was very dissatisfied with how things went and am very disappointed with how much money I spent on mediocre service.

I write this review knowing that Dave has moved on into a different career field but I just wanted to say he was a phenomenal lawyer.
My case was probably like no other he had encountered because he told me so but Dave worked diligently on my case that involved spoofing, fake Facebook accounts, and someone impersonating an attorney. There were people who conspired against me to ruin my reputation and my family relationships. I can't even begin to express my sincere gratitude to Dave for uncovering the truth and dispelling a bunch of lies. My life was seriously affected because of viciousness and jealousy. I thank you David for proving beyond doubt that nothing that was said or done was done by me and for helping to mend relationships that had been broken because of this incident. Dave was excellent in my situation my sibling my situation was complicated I I had several issues that had to be resolved and he resolved all of them he simultaneously took care of a legal issue and the matrimonial issue together he was very concerned about me and my situation I had several times when I change my mind about situations but he always reminded me that certain things were a waste of time and money and he was always looking out for my best interest he was always there when I called he always return my emails and he set up a very good settlement for me it was excellent but I decided to converted to a separation agreement which turned out to be maybe not the greatest idea but the settlement he did get me was excellent in the best settlement I could get under the terms I know everyone is not satisfied with the job that attorneys sometimes do but I have to speak from a personal point of view this attorney was very caring he took the time to really formulate my case people have to remember that is not only the attorney that prepares your case but you are also responsible for some of that stuff also meaning your behavior at the end of the day I would highly recommend this attorney wherever he's at

I hired Maureen for my divorce at the suggestion of a friend. Unfortunately she was horrible and I will never refer her to anyone else. She was never prepared in the courtroom and the Judge did not have any respect for her. She dragged everything out, which of course cost me more money and blamed her unpreparedness on the opposing lawyer. She made a very stressful situation even more stressful. I never felt like she was on my side or working in my best interest. I think it is time for her to retire!

I thought this lawyer was going to help my children but instead was an absolute detriment. She saw my children one time for maybe 10 minutes during a practically two year case. She didn’t listen to any of the the children’s therapists or pediatrician. Her lack of diligence put my daughter back in the hands of a bad person for unsupervised visitation. Tammy was our bankruptcy lawyer. No one wants to ever file for bankruptcy however life forced our hand. This started in 2017 when we hired Tammy . We paid our fee, took all the necessary counseling and went to court. All seemed to go well until 3 years later when we learned Tammy had never filed all the paperwork or paid the necessary fee. After contacting her on more than one occasion to have her sort this out it was still not done. We had to contact the court and the judge set up a hearing for us where he told Tammy when she would complete the paperwork filing and that SHE would pay the fees. When it was all settled my credit report now shows the bankruptcy was not filed until June of 2020. We had been working hard for years even prior to our initial filing to correct and rebuild our credit. I would not use her again and we are sorry we did the first time.

I had contacted this office and ended up having the attorney Scott B. Goldie take on my SSDI case. We met a few times and all seemed well. A year after our initial meeting I received a hearing date. I met with Goldie to check in and all seemed fine. About two weeks before the hearing he calls me and tries to get me to drop him as my lawyer. Since I had no time to find new representation I declined. He let it slip that he wasn't even aware that I was applying for SSDI and not SSI. I kept him up to date on my information and it was clear that he had spent no time reviewing my case. He sent me a letter notifying me that he was dropping my case 1 week before my hearing. I recommend seeking representation elsewhere.

I was originally pleased with Ms,Mathiesen's work from the time I hired her to handle my divorce in August 2021 through early 2022. At that point things abruptly changed. She failed to provide the other attorney with documents I submitted in August 2021 . This came out during a court appearance in February 2022. From that point on multiple instances of unanswered e-mails, promised phone calls that never came, last minute notice of court appearances, continuances, adjournments. At that point I downloaded the court calendar and now ask her to confirm that posted scheduled dates are still on. Money owed to me from my spouse that I was told would be coming never did. On all issues I have documentation. Changes in my monthly fee without any explanation. I've used lawyers for house closings, adverse possession case, litigation against a state agency. I never experienced the lack of communication and lack of professionalism as I have now.

From my experience, she skewed our conversations to support her decisions. Often she wouldn’t follow parent coordinator protocols; she’d rehash issues that were already decided, engage in lengthy one-one conversations, and broach topics that weren’t hers to decided all of which ended up costing me $20,000 a year. She’d regularly bill three months late and repeatedly promised to bill more timely and never did. She became irate with me when I couldn’t pay and told me that I could open up another credit card to pay her because her husband was out of work and she needed a new roof. She was friends with the other sides attorney and never disclose that to me. They were even Facebook friends. The judge called into question her decisions which she had no supporting evidence for and reprimanded her several times. Thankfully, the judge removed her. Michelle asked if she could stay on even after the judge removed her. Both sides said no. She have to make up that income elsewhere maybe actually work for it.

Terrible attorney. Yelled at us because we didn't agree with what she wanted to do. She had no intention of representing our interests, only her own. Extremely unprofessional and unethical. She had no ability to listen and kept talking about "the numbers" which were completely inaccurate, then told us we never gave her our tax returns which we had given her two weeks previous to our court date.

I agree, if you can get another attorney DO SO!! He was court appointed for me. After my first court date I did not hear from him for more than a month after several messages until the day before my appearance at the court. I trusted that he knew what he was doing and he had little or nothing to say in my defense while the other party had an amazing defensive. Achhh! Mr sheeckutz has always been available for me 7 days a week. I have to say that in the past when I retained other lawyers I found it almost impossible to get a return phone. Sometimes waiting days for the call back. Mr Sheeckutz has been very successful in negotiating business matters as well as personal matters on my behalf. If you have any kind of trial you'd be better off throwing your money away. Very little prep work, very meek in litigation, and puts up little to no fight. According to multiple other attorneys he failed to inform me of a very common law practice and actually suggested the bribe the other attorneys offered for me to drop the case.... this man took money and refused to even return a phone call after he lost the most important moment of my life!

Chris is the man! I got pulled over for doing 15 over the speed limit just entering Chemung County on my way to Horseheads while passing another driver on I86 and the officer cited me for 10. It was Good Friday that day and this wasn’t the best Friday for me to get pulled over lol. I am a PA (out of state) driver so even though the points wouldn’t affect my PA driving record, my auto insurance would have spike if I would have plead guilty to the ticket. Plus I will be moving to New York State shortly so I had to take care of this somehow. I talked with Chris Tunney who assured me that he would able to talk the ADA into reducing the points. And he did just that. In New York state, 10 over the speed limit is 3 points. Chris got my speeding ticket reduced from 3 points to 0 points and a non moving violation. He came through for me like he said he would. If you ever get pulled over, Chris is the man to talk to.
