I hired Gerald Maggio to represent me in a spousal support dispute in January of 2022. The process was a pointlessly lengthy one due to many obstructions caused by opposing counsel and my ex, but Mr. Maggio was a godsend throughout the entire process. My husband and I called the law offices of David Chesney at his first court date they were super kind over the phone explained everything to us took our payment over the phone partial and let us make payments as the case was going forward any questions that we had we were answered promptly. They even called us and did a follow-up a few months later to see how we were doing. I hope I don't ever have to use them again, but if for some reason we do definitely will. will also recommend them to family and friends if needed

I was in a bad car accident four years ago. Unfortunately it put me in the trauma center when returning home from the hospital I felt lost and confused. I was on pain meds and I could hardly walk. I was afraid to drive and even get in a car I feared the fact that I would never be able to go back to work And had no idea where my future was going. During my time in the hospital with the help from my daughters,Lord willing, they found a five star attorney Tom E Sokat. The best thing I ever did was to contact him. He is a highly trained, honest, caring, knowledgeable, respectful, supportive, and will guide you through the process step by step. Craig went above and beyond in helping my daughter and I. He checked in on us and called several times to assure we were ok. While seeing him in public he gave me hugs and always wanted to know how we were doing. His communication was top notch and always called back quickly if he was unable to answer. Craig fought hard for me and my family, he assured us he would get us as much money as possible for our injuries and the damage that was done to our property. He also made sure we were compensated for the towing of my vehicle. Craig has blessed me and my family tremendously. The day he told us how much money he was getting I leaped for joy and thanked him so much. My daughter now has money to invest. The money was good but the service was the best part. Highly recommend. This law firm has been amazing to work with and is a class act. Mr. Mitchell was outstanding explaining my rights as a father and working with the opposing counsel. My situation was a complicated one but Mr. Mitchell was able to write up a parenting plan so I could start seeing my 3 children again after being away from them for 4 years. This firm definitely goes the distance for its clients and the office staff is always there to assist with any questions and I had a lot of them!

I had a very bad experience with Nicole Stednitz. She misrepresented my legal situation in order to get my business. After receiving a favorable order prior to having met her, she told me to file for a trial that took away my favorable orders, costing over $16,000 when she promised it would be under $2500 and which I later found out should never have been filed.
She also charged hundreds for driving to the courthouse. For example, for one 15-minute hearing she arrived both late and unprepared to, she charged 4.1 hours. In small claims court where she sued to recover all of her inflated billing, she argued the 4.1 hours included her travel time and didn’t dispute the hearing itself took 15 minutes. Unfortunately, the judge awarded her the full amount. I’ve had other family law attorneys and was not prepared for a large percentage of attorney fees to go to traveling as none of my other attorneys charged for their travel, let alone more than the hearing itself.
Also, each email costs 20% of her billable hour, even if it is one word. One email I sent had an attachment for which she charged hundreds of dollars for reviewing even though she didn’t seem to be familiar with what I had emailed her. Between emails and transportation, my retainer drained quickly each month and needed replenishing, without seeing any real progress in my case.
I disputed her overcharges, didn’t hear from her for over three years until she suddenly sued me in small claims court charging thousands in interest the judge threw out but unfortunately, she got away with a lot I dispute is owed to her. She didn’t seem to care about me or my child and situation, but only about billing unreasonably. I personally regret hiring her and the bad outcome her representation resulted in.

Jami Fosgate was wonderful during a very difficult time. She offers a flat rate for uncontested divorces that is very reasonable. I don't typically write reviews for anything , but this woman is a SAINT!
I had spent literal years consulting with different attorneys, most of which were afraid to take my case. A random person gave me her number, I called it, and when I tell you this woman took my case with a week (or so) notice of a court date, and has had my back and consulted me better than any of the other 5-10 attorneys I had spoken with prior to her, she is AMAZING.
Empathetic, to the point, financially conscious, responsive, not selfish at all, and an amazing memory to boot, she has been my absolute rock and I probably would have lost my kids if she didn't articulate correctly to me.
