I found Michelle after interviewing a few attorney's and I knew instantly that I wanted her to represent me.
She was straight forward just like I asked her to be.
I was sick with worry and absolutely terrified. I had never been in trouble with the law before.
The waiting is the worst part however Michelle was good at putting me at ease through out the process. If I needed to speak with her I could reach her etc...
I have used Michelle 2 times and both times she has worked miracles. Honestly I would not choose anyone else to represent a DUI case in any form. Plus she does much more....

I randomly selected Michelle Behan from a list of possible defense attorney’s and, in retrospect, I wish I hadn’t. She is not a completely honest attorney and, in retrospect, I feel like I was scammed by her. In our very first conversation (after she read my one page summary of the incident involving charges of assault for “touching with intent”) she made clear statements to me that the plaintiff did not have a strong case because the DA “could not prove the necessary intent”. She added that it was unlikely that the Plaintiff’s witness would even show up for the court case. I was pleased to hear this and when she offered to handle the case for a lump sum, I agreed and her assistant quickly billed me for it. In that initial conversation she also stated that it was important to move quickly to obtain the video evidence of the incident which I agreed with. In that regard she said that she engages a Private Investigator (a Mr. Dagostino) for just such purposes and that he would cost me an extra $75 an hour. I agreed to this given her recommendation and knowing that we needed to move quickly. However, a few weeks later (and after having been billed $150 for his time) I finally learned that Mr. Dagostino had failed to obtain any evidence and that he hadn’t accomplished anything more than a simple phone call request from anyone could have accomplished. Despite my ongoing efforts to push this matter along with emails and phone call messages to Behan, it in fact took about three months for hern to finally obtain the video evidence which coincidentally happened just after I sent her a strong email asking why we simply hadnt subpoenad this evidence to begin with. In the meantime, we had a second conversation where she recommended that I plead guilty and accept a “Diversion” offer which completely contradicted her initial statements to me about the strength of our case. At that point it was obvious to me that she didn’t care what the video evidence showed and that she had completely changed her posture on my case now that I had already paid her and engaged her. Despite later reviewing the video evidence with me, I realized that she never was prepared to defend my case along the lines of her initial assurances. This lack of honesty on her part only made my whole experience with this matter doubly frustrating. I clearly recommend that you do not use this attorney in a defense situation.

New to Phoenix, I found myself needing a lawyer regarding a difficult landlord situation. I did a google search, wrote down a few names and randomly made my first call to Scott McWilliams for a very reasonably priced $50 initial consultation.
I explained the issue to Mr. McWilliams and he provided me with clear, concise information on AZ law, then gave me the specific statute numbers so I could also easily reference them myself. He advised me on the pros and cons of multiple courses of action, offered excellent solutions I had not considered, and gave me guidance on how to proceed, depending on which course of action I would eventually take.
The issue is close to being resolved, and I may need Mr. McWilliams' expertise to review the final agreement, but he got me to the goal line with a $50 consultation. It was, without a doubt, the best legal services value I have had in the past 40+ years.

Aaron was God sent! Everything that happened with my brother happened so fast and the county law enforcement agency was in a hurry to hang my brother high and dry. Our family frantically searched for someone to represent our loved one with about 24 hours until he was in front of a judge on a SUNDAY! Aarons name showed during the search. Once we made the call we knew we had the right man. Aaron was insanely quick, communicative, available and caring. What stood out to me was he gave a s***! I remember speaking to him and trying to explain the situation and respectfully Aaron stopped me and said "I'm not being rude but right now my concern is making sure I am there with him in person and then we can over details later." He got suited up and drove to represent my brother with just a few hours until he (my brother) was to be seen. Aaron showed up dressed to the nines! well groomed and stood with confidence from there on out that level of professionalism didn't stop.. I've been so happy with Mr. Woodnick. I was a nervous wreck -- I couldn't sleep, I was losing weight, and felt honestly like I didn't want to wake up. My poor kids...ugh. Without divulging any particulars of the case in which Stephanie has helped my adult son with, I must say that she was the best decision we could have made. When my son got in trouble, I spoke with 3 or 4 lawyers. I remember at least one measured high on the creep-factor, telling me all the lines that he learned from some practice management seminar. Stephanie spoke to me as a person, explained the law, and offered to meet with my son. We have known her now since about March 2011 when this all began. There was no magic bullet to get my son off. He spent a year in jail. He is almost half way done with a 2 year probation. Stephanie was always there. Always explained the options. Always gave the best advice she could. When she, the County Attorney and the judge met in chambers, the judge later told us what a good attorney we had who could argue the merits of her client, not so much because she knew the law, but because she had taken the time to know her client. She always returned our emails and calls in a very very timely manner. From the beginning there was never the uncomfortable, I don't know if you remember me, I'm calling about my son. No, she always knew who I was. She knew my son's case without looking at his file. She has always been honest. Most of all she has always cared. When I send an email about his life-status, his work, how he's doing with this or that, she genuinely cares. She may be a lawyer, but first Stephanie is a human. Perhaps that may not exactly serve her well at all times in her chosen profession, but to me it has been everything. If you are in need of a lawyer within her area of expertise, call her.

Several years ago I was involved in a DUI incident, for which the court wanted to give me a rather unjustifiable sentence. Stephanie is one of the best of the best attorneys I have ever hired. After getting into some trouble in tempe a few months ago, she was able to walk me through the entire process in a way that I understood. And because she is so well connected, I was able to get the best deal possible and everything removed from my record. Ryan Garvey with the Sonoran law group is undoubtedly the best lawyer. I had been charged with possion of dangerous drugs facing 2.5 years. That was if I sign at a fast tract court first offer. We decided to take it to trial because I had faith in Ryan and I didn't hold any information from him and now I'm facing 7.5 to 13 years if we lose. Stephen was recommended by several people even referring him as a “bulldog,” Unfortunately I did not have that experience. He was very hard to get in contact with and barley returned emails leading me to deal with the receptionist& paralegal the majority of the time.
We knew for about 6 months the opposing party was going to file a Modification of Parenting Time and Child Support, and when this happened, Stephen ended up withdrawing From my case leaving little to no time to find a lawyer who would take my case on such short notice. He never even received important documents from the opposing party Which I paid him to help get for court. The invoice included fees such as zoom calls that were never made. He put in forms to the court that I did not approve, which actually helped the opposing party. Basically, when things got tough, he bailed and left me to pick up the pieces. I have never dealt with this sort of situation and would hope no one has to. I thought I paid someone that would fight for myself and my family but instead got someone whom is all talk. He talks a good game and from what I hear does well with divorces but when it comes to parenting time/child custody, he only wanted to negotiate which was not happening with the opposing party and was not willing to do the leg work.

Lynn came highly recommended to me by a priest in the Traditional Catholic Faith. I had medical power of attorney for a gentleman who was in need of receiving the last sacraments of his church. He was not dying at the time. The hospital had a terrible policy in which they would not allow your clergy in unless a person was actively dying. Lynn was able to send letters to the appropriate hospital administration personnel. In doing so, she was able get the hospital to allow the patient's priest to give him the sacraments. She also was instrumental in assisting with the Palliative Care Department which had an issue/misunderstanding in what was appropriate care for this person and how it was being handled.
She is exceedingly kind, caring and compassionate and extremely knowledgeable when assisting her client's needs. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs a good lawyer.
