Tracy gave excellent advice on a number of criminal charges that I had in California forty-six years ago. She instructed me to get a record and she found that I had no convictions except one, which unbeknownst to me, was expunged. This old record came up when I applied for a trusted traveler card. When I had questions, she answered them promptly. Her price was fair. I highly recommend her.

When I had a question about how to get my RN license after waiting 5 months - she answered my questions very promptly! She took time out her weekend to call me and go through all of the steps I have done - THEN she called me back after she did her own research on what might have kept my application with the state held up. She told me to fill out the appropriate paperwork and with ONE WEEK --- I had my license!!! I can't tell you how much I appreciated Tracy taking time out of her weekend with her family to help me! She was AMAZING!

I was referred by a friend to Bruce and his law firm. Bruce and his staff helped me with resolve a family law case matter related to an old judgement where my ex husband was in contempt of the court order.
Working with Bruce made the process so seamless. Renzo took on my case when many other attorneys had passed on it (including the previous law office who had represented me up to that point).
It was a very specific situation that I doubt many attorneys had even encountered, which caused many to think the additional research and unknowns were not worth it and practically dismissed me without any regard for the serious problem I was in. (My mom was stuck overseas and unable to come back even though she had legal status. A consulate official made it his mission to not have her come back and put up additional bars of inadmissibility after she had already been granted a waiver for the one she had against her. )
Renzo cared for me as a person first and foremost which meant a lot. Then he sat down with me and laid out the plan for how we would get her back.
He was quick to act and sent out a new request to waive this new bar of inadmissibility that the consulate official had put up against her. Within weeks it was approved and my mother was able to go back to the consulate and finally get her visa.
It’s been about 8 years now but I’ll always be grateful for Renzo’s dedication to providing a quality legal service to his community. He cares and deserves your business a lot more than the firms who just look at you as a small drop of their yearly revenue.

I have to say Im super impressed with how they handled my speeding ticket. I was a little worried when court dates were being changed and a year later they were still handling things but it was well worth the wait. My case was dismissed and I didn't need to appear in court. I forgot how I found Fyourticket, but I'm glad I did. I just received an email that my speeding ticket was dismissed! I was caught doing over 100mph on the freeway, and the cop cut me a break as he put I was doing 99mph in order to avoid impounding my car. Fyourticket was able to extend my trial for an entire year, and at the end my case was dismissed! No driving school, no court fees, no points on my record. It was everything I could've asked for. Money well spent!!!

Debra is representing me in my divorce proceedings. My ex wife and her attorney are trying to make every step difficult for me. Constantly intimidating me, falsely making statements, not to mention being unresponsive to emails requesting documents. Debra is a fighter, and she will fight for your interests as if it were her own. During my divorce I was amazed how caring, honest, and compassionate she is with her clients. I really got lucky the day I needed an attorney for a horrible mistake I had made. I was lucky that the first two attorneys I called from the internet were too busy for my call, because Scot was my third call that day and I thank God for that. Most of my life I have never been in trouble, and when trouble found me I was scared. I did know what to do or what was going to happen. Scot, from the moment I called, made me feel like I could breathe. He reassured me that being my first offense I most likely would not see jail time. Scot always answered every phone call, text and or email in a very timely fashion. He got my sentence reduced to what I know was the lowest he possibly could and I felt like he genuinely cared about my situation. I hope I never have to call him again, but if I knew anyone who needed help, I would definitely recommend him to anyone I knew.

A friend referred Scot to me when I was looking for an attorney for my daughter. She had been charged with a serious drug offense. Scot worked out a deal with the D.A. that she could do six months in a rehab and then six months in jail. This was a great relief after hearing that their first offer was prison time. Unfortunately, my daughter didn’t stay in rehab and left and was charged with other serious drug offenses. She exacerbated the situation by skipping court dates several times. Scot was there for all of the court dates, and patiently continued to competently defend her with a district attorney who was becoming more and more impatient with my daughter’s shenanigans. Finally, she faced her day in court, and Scot worked out an amazing resolution. Despite the fact that she had faced the possibility of years in prison for her first case, the cases were combined and he managed to work out a deal where she served several months in jail. I highly recommend Scot if you are looking for a competent, caring and communicative attorney!

I had been stopped for DUI, I got arrested and waited a whole year and no charges were brought against me. I contacted Mr. Pokorny's office and the said they would advise on what to do next. Jim Pokorny is an absolute class act. Talk about someone who knows the system, and crosses every T, and dots every I. I was arrested for domestic violence. Upon contacting Mr. James Pokorny's office, having used him when I was dealing with a juvenile violation, he was responsive and helped me resolve the case with a strong offer from the DA. Well, 10+ years later I received a Drunk in Public, and Mr. Pokorny and his associate Michele Gardenier again were there to help get me out of the situation. Pokorny referred me to one of his junior lawyers, Mr. Erik Bruner, who was absolutely fabulous.
Mr. Bruner had a close and respectful relationship with the City Attorney, making her more amenable to negotiation given the mutual respect. I had a pretty ugly police report, resulting from my attitude towards the officers which included slipping my (thin) wrists from the handcuffs twice, making rude/obnoxious comments, kicking and screaming, the whole gamut. Mr. Bruner managed to get me out of the situation largely scott free. He was able to get the DA to agree to entirely dismiss the case, as if nothing had ever occurred, provided I simply attend a few AA or NA meetings over a pre-specified time period. Very happy with this result. Had previously considered another attorney who acted as if the case would be impossible to get a reasonable deal, so I was shocked when Mr. Bruner was able to so quickly negotiate such an agreeable conclusion, after which my entire case disappears! I was shocked he was able to get such an attractive offer, in short time. GREAT ATTORNEYS, BOTH ERIK AND JAMES POKORNY!
ALSO, GREAT ASSOCIATE IN MICHELE GARDENIER, WHO WORKS FOR MR. POKORNY AND MR. BRUNER AND HANDLES MOST (IF NOT ALL) OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE ASPECTS OF THE CASE; SHE IS REALLY ON TOP IT!
My opinions here are particularly useful to someone evaluating a prospective attorney, as I had initially used a different attorney who failed to attend several required appearances; acted as if the case was impossible to overcome without harsh penalties; and clearly ran a lackluster operation from an administrative standpoint, hence the failed appearances discussed in the foregoing. I found it to be a huge relief once I had switched to Pokorny's offices and was working with Michele Gardenier, Erik Bruner and James Pokorny.
GREAT FIRM, 100% RECOMMENDED.

At the age of 22, I was sentenced to 50 yrs. to Life. I felt hopeless, sad, depressed and not wanting to think about freedom anymore. It was a miracle when I met Cori. Throughout my 20 yrs. of incarceration, Cori have been by my side for 15 yrs. She provided hope, encouragement, and most importantly support. Due to Cori's hard work and effort my 50 yrs. to life sentence was reduced to 40 yrs. to life. But Cori didn't stop there, she believed and cared about me and eventually I was resentenced to 15 yrs. to life. Within 6 months, I was scheduled to appear before the Board of Parole Hearings, and Cori continued to be there and represent me. Cori and team worked on my case that had very little chance of success. We both decided we must trudge on or we will never know the outcome. This was a case that had been turned down by a number of attorneys over the course of 21 years, but she believed in me and was relentless! When Cori submitted the files and as we were preparing for our hearing, we received great news. The District Attorney conceded! Thanks to Cori’s due diligence, even the DA was moved by my case. I highly recommend Constantine Zhukovsky as one of the best family law attorneys in the San Francisco Bay Area. I had a very long, painful, and ugly divorce with my abusive ex with a Restraining order and a minor child on my hands. At first, I had a different attorney and felt so confused and helpless, and the divorce proceedings were going south. When I met Constantine he spent hours explaining my rights, laws, and proceedings. The most important part, he laid out the strategies for my case and let me think about it before I made any decision. From the start, I got the support and clarity I needed. I knew what would happen next, and what I should expect from each hearing. It was through divorce, but I am very happy I had Constantine on my side. I felt safe and protected. The proceedings were going very slow: lots of rescheduling from the opposing side, attorney substitutions, and the most annoying was that if you think you have an agreement with the opposing side, it doesn’t mean anything unless it is all put into paper and signed. My ex played this game a dozen times, and it cost both of us lots of money and time. While helping my brother with his divorce, I attended several meetings with Constantine and was very impressed with how he conducted his business. He took a no nonsense approach towards obtaining a full understanding of relevant financial and family situations. This allowed him to make a fair and timely settlement offer that aligned with guidance provided by California court systems. We had lots of questions and he was able to address them all and provide a thorough explanation behind each of his recommendations.
My brother’s wife took a much more aggressive approach, asking for everything and in my opinion stretched the truth. This backfired in court as Constantine was able to back up his case with solid facts. … and judges rule on facts not fantasy. My brother left court happy that day, the same can’t be said about his soon to be ex-wife.

My husband is a youth offender and he has been in prison for over 24 years, he had his 1st board hearing July 7, 2023 and he was found situatable. I hired Mr. Sullivan to defend us against an aggressive Homeowners' Association Board, which was threatening to come onto our property and remove items belonging to us. He was caring, quick, and efficient, as well as easy to reach. He returned calls and e-mails, and sent a letter which provided a line by line rebuttal of the Board's allegations against us. I was driving 120 MPH when I was pulled over and arrested for DUI. It was passed midnight when the lights of the cop car flooded my rear view mirror. I knew I had one too many drinks and I knew I was going to jail. Still, I was hoping I could talk my way out of it. I answered their questions. It didn't help. My speech was slurred. I did their tests on the side of the road. I almost fell over a few times. With each second I could feel the jail closing in on me. The cops didn't care about me. They were so pissed I was driving so fast they couldn't wait to take me to jail. I was arrested and blew .12 twice into the breathalyzer. I thought it was over.
I knew of Derek from other friends that had used him. They had their cases dismissed or walked away with very little. He wasn't cheap, but my friends swore by him. I saved every nickel and raised every dime I could to hire him. It was the best decision I've ever made.
When I met with him he explained everything. He told me "you're paying me to do the worrying for you" and I truly felt he cared. I know he cared.
The Torrance DA (Some woman named Gillian) wanted to send me to jail for months because of some rule that says if you're driving as fast as I was you do a minimum of 2 months jail. I couldn't believe it. Derek wasn't having it. He fought with them, but they wouldn't budge. It was take the jail or go to trial.
We went to Trial.
I was scared to death when the jury was picked. Then Derek started doing his thing. He showed the jury another side. He showed the cops didn't know what they were doing and that they were lying. They didn't need to lie, but they did. Derek was clearly the smartest guy in the room. Everything they threw at us Derek blasted.
More than anything, Derek cared. He put his heart and soul into the case. He really cared what would happen to me. I wasn't just a client. He treated me like I was a member of his family on trial. The jury saw that and I won. MY CASE WAS DISMISSED!!!!!!!

Needing a criminal defense attorney is a scary experience but Justin immediately put me at ease when I met with him and hired him and I knew I was in good hands. He was the only lawyer I met with that didn't just give me lip service and brag about about themselves! He answered all of my questions, was always there for me, and I personally saw Justin in court doing his thing. Never once did he have another lawyer touch my case which is VERY common with many defense attorneys. I never felt like I was in the dark about my case, and he knew my case backwards and forwards. He handled my main case which was in Van Nuys and probation violation out of the Airport Court and was able to make everything go away with no jail, a reduced charge, and termination of my violation case. Next year Justin will go back to court for me for the sealing of the case and arrest. Catching a case is a horrible experience but thank goodness there are lawyers out there like Justin. Don't waste your time and money with anyone else. Justin really does check all of the boxes and then some!!

I was in serious trouble for the first time in my life. I was facing a felony charge of DUI with injuries and high BAC. Merry Christmas! This has been a heavier hearted year, Even though my case is not solved yet, it does not change the facts up to this point. Brian has dealt with my in jail panic freak outs twice (too many times), before he got me out of jail very quickly (Thank God & my legal team of course!), so he was present for me all the time inside, and I realized he meant it when he said he was not going to abandon me. TLDR; Martin Litmaer is an excellent attorney who will look for creative ways and fight for your rights to resolve your situation. Hes compassionate, and sees you as a person and not just another case number. His fees are also extremely reasonable give how stressful, disasterous and damaging (financially, mental health, etc.) legal issues can be to one's life, and he understands this. Together we fought a felony charge over the span of 1 year which resulted in the charges being dropped and case dismissed. More below:
I little over a year ago, I received a call from the LAPD notifying me that I was being charged with a felony (for a crime I didn't even commit, it just happened that the law had recently changed without my knowledge and I was found out of compliance).
Prior to consulting Martin, i had a brief interaction with a public defender (AKA public pretender), who was completely unhelpful. I was then referred to Martin through family. After our consultation I immediately hired Martin. He consulted me on the legal process, and together we went to the courthouse to "turn myself in" and clear the warrant (because, I wasn't actually arrested committing a crime). Martin convinced the judge to release me without bail (saving me $4k bail bond fees on an originally set $40k bail). Over the next year, we had a dozen court dates together and multiple phone calls and texts, devising a strategy to resolve this (what I call it, an injustice). Ultimately, after pivoting a couple times and trying a couple strategies, we found one that sticked, worked on that together and the case was dismissed.
