I had a very pleasant conversation with Bill. I called him from Seattle to discuss re-opening my visitation case with my daughter who lives in San Diego. Dustin Krogh has been my lawyer since my divorce and most recently into a difficult child custody case with a move away. I really couldn’t be happier with him and his firm! He was always responsive and timely.
I feel like I need to say this next part because I’m not a fan of having to do anything inside a courtroom or with Lawyers in general but he actually cared about me. Not just the case and the face value of the challenges it brought, but me. He handled everything cleanly, gave phenomenal advice and helped me through some very tight and tough times. For perspective I’m a Dad in the state of California fighting custody of 2 kids and moving with them out of state.

I had another lawyer briefly before hiring Joni, what a world of difference it made having her expertly defend me! Joni is an outstanding defense lawyer. I was arrested on trumped up charges for a DUI, but unfortunately for me there was not a lot lot of evidence to back up my side of the story. Joni knows every angle to approach a case from and successfully reduced it to a traffic violation. I thought my life was over, but Joni saved me. She is highly experienced and knows exactly how to handle a case to achieve favorable results for the client. She is outgoing and easy to talk to as well - my whole predicament was grim, with seemingly little hope, but she put me at ease right away. Additionally, her rates are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of her services as a defense attorney.

In the past I've had a few less than perfect family law experiences. In my mind, James Casey reset those standards and set the bar high. I had called multiple lawyers initially most of which seemed annoyed of the time I was taking and the questions I was asking. James was quick, efficient and personable. When you find yourself in a difficult situation, Mr. Coniglio and his office is the one to call. I went through an absolute nightmare that I thought would never end, and his office guided me through it all, always reassuring me that i wasn’t alone with all the chaos. John is an outstanding attorney. He listens intently, and comes up with a sound strategy to defend you. And methodically executes on it. Hire him, and wholeheartedly listen to his recommendations and follow through what he asks for, and you will get justice on your side. I was in an unfortunate situation, and was arrested for DUI needlessly. John was thorough in his work, prepared a case and fought for over 8 months to get my case dismissed 10 months from the incident.
He is calm, collected, and has the vision for evolving the case in a methodical way, which is a surefire way to win if you are in the right.
John is also a great human being - I have come to know him through these months and truly enjoyed working with him. He deeply understands the laws, the Monterey county system, law enforcement officials, judges and the district attorney well. He is also well respected by everyone as I have come to witness.

I have been searching and searching for a lawyer that could help me with my situation. I had 2 misdemeanors on my record and I actually moved to Idaho, so it was nearly impossible for me to go down to Temecula. Or riverside to deal with this. In searching for someone that can help me. I landed upon this lawyer and I must say the care and help that they gave me was remarkable. The day that I called they started on my case and kept me in the loop with everything. A lot of attorneys that I have contacted wanted to charge me upwards of 3500 and of course, a single mom, I could definitely not afford that. This is the first time I actually had to hire an attorney to help me and it was very daunting, but coming across this attorney made it effortless. I didn't have to do much and living in a different state made me concerned that it was even possible to do. The cases were dismissed so fast I honestly couldn't believe it and the cost was actually very reasonable that I could even afford. I can't express enough how happy I am that I actually, pushed through and decided to make one last call to an attorney and ended up with them. I am so grateful to this attorney for doing what they did in such a short amount of time and keeping me updated throughout the process. I am very grateful for meeting Mr. & Mrs. Combs they are very nice and work greatly as a team. Mr. & Mrs. Combs always updated me on my case. They made sure to instruct me properly on what to do with certain forms and anything I had to do on my end. All of my questions were answered and they understood my situation.
Mr. Combs told me something no other lawyer told me, he said he will show up to court on my behalf, knowing I was out of the state. My warrant was removed without me having to be there. The next court date my felony would be dropped which was another court date I did not have to attend. This helped me out tremendously! It would have been very costly for me to travel back and forth since I'm preparing for university. Knowing that, he worked really hard for me to not have to show face.

I can not thank Kirby enough for helping our son get through his court case. It was such a scary and traumatic ordeal, but Kirby was right there with our family the whole way through. We never wanted to have to use a lawyer, but Kirby helped in getting the charges dismissed as well as excellent communication throughout the entire process. He kept us informed and was there on our behalf during court as well. They stayed in touch with us throughout the whole process, and let me say it was months of process. I hope we never have to use him again, lol, but if we ever do need a defense council, hands down first choice for sure!

I am a local San Diego civil attorney and I strongly recommend Peter Mesich as your attorney to handle any criminal or civil matters. He has personally represented my family members and friends over the past year - each receiving either an early dismissal, not guilty result or a very favorable resolution. He is the lawyer's lawyer and the guy a lawyer like myself turns to when friends or family are in need of representation.
He works very hard on his cases and he "runs out the groundballs." In a recent case he handled for me just last month, he contacted the police, county witnesses, experts and all witnesses even before the first Court hearing. He was thus more prepared than the seasoned prosecutor at the very first hearing!

Peter was a guiding light for me during a very nerve wracking period. I received a misdemeanor and a potentially steep fine, and did not know where to turn. Peter came very highly recommended and was a real savior. He took total control of the case and made himself readily available at any time. He worked tirelessly to have the charges minimized to a much more acceptable fine with no other repercussions. Peter handled the whole case in the most professional and up front manner. Peter was an absolute life saver to me. I had not dealt with DUI issues before, so when this all began, I knew I needed a good attorney. I originally liked the fact that Peter had been a prosecutor before working as a defense attorney. My case was a bit complicated, but after I got into the process, I did see that Peter made a great difference. When I was working out the consequences of my DUI, I saw that other people with the same BAC that I had were assigned to the nine-month program at OHS. In addition, the same people that were assigned to the 9-month OHS program were assigned 14 days of the Work Project Program - I would have lost a lot of income if I had been subjected to such lengthy programs ! I was given three months of OHS classes and only 4 days of the Work Projects Program. That is an amazing testament to Peter's skill !! Before my Arraignment, Peter indicated to me everything I needed to do to get a reduced sentence, and I did all of it. I didn't want to bug Peter too much while the case was in process, but I did waste some money on bail bonds because I hadn't contacted him... I could have been out on my own recognizance !!!! Peter will help you immensely; keep calling him about those minor details, he won't mind. He would prefer to do a great job for you. That is way his service is a great investment.

What can I say, but Roxas Law is AMAZING! At first, the thought of going to court seemed so daunting. I had very little time with my daughter as the original court order was placed when my daughter was 3 months old. My ex moved to a different city, with no notice, and wanted to change the whole visitation pickup and hours. Therefore, I knew I had to go to court to have a new visitation schedule in place. I visited several law firms and once I went and sat down with Sandy, I knew Roxas Law was the one. She laid out all of the possibilities starting with a reasonable less costly, mentally and monetarily, approach of simply talking to one another with legal assistance, to mediation, to going to court. I knew she that could handle my extremely difficult ex and handle my particular situation with ease and professionalism.
I had not been granted access to my daughter since December 27, 2019. I started the court process in Mid January and the firm was so helpful and explained the whole process thoroughly. During this time, my ex avoided all of the phone calls from Troy and Sandy and made it extremely difficult to even serve her. Throughout this time, their professionalism never wavered and they kept me calm, as it was stressful to think that I would never get to see my daughter as my ex did everything in her power to avoid contact. After several attempts of trying to contact her, she was finally served and we had a court date set for March 20, 2020. However, everything came to a screeching halt on March 19, 2020 when Los Angeles was officially shut down due to COVID. Another disappointment, more stress, and more waiting without seeing my daughter and knowing if she was ok or not.
But, leave it to Sandy and Troy to come to the rescue! They had to inform my ex that the court date would be rescheduled due to COVID and it was unknown as to when that date would be. They reached out to my ex and asked her if the old visitation schedule could resume as it was not known when we would go to court. She refused citing COVID concerns. However, since we had a TON of evidence against her and how she interfered with my parenting time, refused to give me access to see my daughter, and many other things, her refusal would be one more piece of evidence against her. Once she was told, she quickly changed her mind and allowed my previous visitation schedule with my daughter.
We had another court date schedule for May and it was also pushed back. Throughout this time, Troy always reached out to ensure that everything was going as smooth as possible until we could go to court. If I had any issues with my ex, he was quick to handle it. We then had a court date on July 13, 2020. The big day finally arrived! Of course, I was terrified. Troy was very professional and eased my nerves and always explained what was coming up and let me know the possible outcomes. The judge granted me everything I wanted and more with the exception of full legal custody. It was a huge victory!!! I could not have done it without their help!
Bottom line, you get what you pay for. The rates are beyond reasonable for the help, experience, and professionalism you get. The entire experience can seem daunting and scary and just beyond hope. But, I can tell you that it is not! Do not hesitate to contact Roxas Law for anything you need as you will not regret it. You will have a great team behind you to get you through the ups and downs of child custody issues. A big thank you to Sandy and Troy and everyone else at the office!!!!

Mr. Polverino is extremely competent and knowledgeable in complicated criminal defense cases focusing mostly on Santa Clara County. My case being excellently conducted from the first court date reduced charges to misdemeanor, to eventually dismissal after multiple court representations over the past seven months. He’s very calm and professional, and promptly responsive either personally by email or through his assistant Debra. I remember he personally called me back the same day after I contacted his office and left a voice message.

I was involved in a domestic violent case, and I found Sam through online research. I talked to a few other lawyers before him, but I knew I needed to hire Sam after our initial consultation. We met face to face at his office. He carefully listened to my experience and walked me through the legal process. He is very experienced as he shared a lot more details about the District Attorney office than the other lawyers did, and he knows the current best way of convincing the DA to drop the case. He is also very genuine and down-to-earth. When I ask uncertain questions, he focuses on facts and does not over-promise anything. His legal pricing is competitive among all candidates, and when I asked if there is any room for discount, he honestly told me this was the lowest he would charge on a DA case. After I hired him, Sam and his assistant Debra answered all the questions I came up with. Luckily, my case was rejected before a preliminary hearing, and Sam voluntarily refunded two thirds of the legal fee and helped me request a detention certificate and sealed my arrest record. It was unbelievable. Honestly, I don't want to see any lawyers again. But if I get myself into troubles again, I wouldn't hesitate a second to hire Sam.

I was facing a serious felony charge that had potential to get even worse. Knowing this, I knew that I required first-rate legal representation. Catherine Mary Cherkasky (aka Katie) is indisputably the best military lawyer in the world.

It took nine more long months in confinement, but on 1 July 2019, the Appellate Court Judges set aside my serious conviction “WITH PREJUDICE” and my sentence in its entirety!
Imagine being me for a second at 1610 on 1 July 2019, and you get a legal call from your lawyer, informing you of the good news. I don’t get choked up often, being an Infantry Marine, but I was babbling like a baby that afternoon when Katie called me with the good news!
Katie’s brief on my behalf will be studied by generations of future law school students. It was the perfect brief...read the transcript!
The brief was so good that the Appellate Court didn’t require “Oral Arguments”...no need to waste time & money when Katie had laid it out so perfectly!
Following my EXONERATION, Katie & Andy continued to stick with me. They negotiated my release from confinement, and “NO PUNISHMENT” for the remaining minor convictions.
I will literally do anything for Katie until my last dying breath!

If you are in need of consistently aggressive, calculated and very professional advocacy, Wallin and Klarich is the law firm that you should go to. I understand, it is terrifying to be in a situation wherein you are accused specially if you have not have not had experience with the legal system before, so looking for strong lawyers will be your best defense.
Our story with Wallin and Klarich started when we had a serious accusation thrown at a family member. I called them on a Saturday evening, left a message; I immediately got a call from Jonathan Lynn, one of their senior lawyers who made an appointment with us even on a Sunday. He then referred us to one of the partners of the firm, Matthew Wallin, and after our first meeting, we knew that we were starting off on the right path in having this firm at our side.
Matt was always there for us. I know he is a top rated lawyer who handles a lot of cases, but he never made us feel that our case was any less serious or less important. I was pulled over for doing donuts in an empty dirt lot, and the police officer told me I would get something in the mail. Almost a year later, I got a court summons telling me I was to be charged with misdemeanor reckless driving and vandalism. Adding insult to injury, the DA’s office made me court date AFTER I had moved out of state for school! After consulting with and retaining Matt Wallin, I could not be happier with the outcome. He represented me and kept me updated with all relevant info, and was very professional. Mr. Wallin eventually got both charges dropped and the case dismissed. Mr. McMurray was my lawyer back in December of 2010 when I was arrested by the SB County Sheriff's department. I won't go into details, but I was in serious trouble and looking at some time behind bars.
In short I began to turn my life around I got myself into some local programs to deal with my personal problems. Taking Mr. McMurray's advice I worked hard to improve my situation. Mr. McMurray was truthful and helpful through the entire process, including giving me a payment plan option which helped a lot. Because legal trouble can be expensive outside of hiring a lawyer. He went to bat for me with the DA and the Judge because I fulfilled my promise to keep myself on track. I ended up avoiding jail time all together and I haven't looked back since. Alcohol was a part of my story and I've been sober ever since in part due to Mr. McMurray and his work on my behalf. Early this summer I was arrested for domestic violence. The police officers showed up and put the entire blame on me even though, I was defending myself. For the first time I fought back because I was tired of allowing this to happen. The police officers didn’t see my side of things and just pointed the finger on me. Once I was released I had a lot to take care of, I was scared, nervous, and had no idea what to expect. So I went on the internet and looked for a lawyer. I came across attorney Rosenfeld and I couldn’t have been any luckier. Attorney Rosenfeld and his assistant Vanessa made me feel like I had someone on my side. After going through domestic violence you can feel alone, down and pretty low about yourself. Vanessa and attorney Rosenfeld both made me feel safe and they basically took a lot of stress off my shoulders. I am in my early twenties, I work 3 jobs, and I recently graduated. So it was a lot on my plate. For myself personally I felt as if Attorney Rosenfeld took this case in his own hands and he fought for me. I got a traffic ticket for a Jaywalking violation (driving through an intersection when there was a pedestrian). Anyway, I had a single consultation with Katherine, and she was able to help me write a letter for my trial by written declaration. Because of the way she worded things and her helpful insight on what supporting documentation I should submit, I ended getting the case dismissed! I was accused by police for abusing my son. I admit that I am a tough father but I am not the "abuser" described by the police. When I was released from jail I started seeking an attorney on AVVO. Mr. Nakano's experience drew my attention. However, my stereotype about lawyers reserved me from making immediate decision to hire him. After looking through his website, I told myself "why not give him a chance, and give yourself a chance". Because of our similar ethnic background, he could look at the situation from my perspective. I came to Mr Steven Nakano awhile back concerned about a possible criminal case against me regarding an alledged a hit and run on the freeway resulting in property damage. As many Kings county residents already may know, the King's county DA's office was replete with incompetence, lazyness and corruption under the Keith Fagundes regime. Cases and charges were being filed that should not have been and had scores of innocent people on the hook for some serious felonies which could have potentially led to prison time. I unfortunately fell into a situation simmilar to the aforementioned. I made a bad choice in who to marry, and upon asking for a divorce, my ex wife decided to lie to the police with a bogus story which resulted in charges being filed that cost me my career and my home. The police report was horribly written, there was no thorough investigation and or even no follow up. It was my word against hers and the report was sent to the DA anyway. At the time I felt that someone would see through her lies and it be thrown out. Unfortunately, it was not and charges were filed. At this point I hired William " Bill " Parry. Let it be noted that it will be worth your while to hire a good private investigator to do his due diligence in fact finding to accurately dispell the charges against you which in turn gives your lawyer ammunition to fight for you. What proceeded was two and a half years of hell and a fever pitch effort in rebuilding my life. Eventually three felonies were dismissed and I was allowed to move on with my life. Although I won, but at great cost. But definitely worth my freedom and my ability to move on with my life without restriction whatsoever. Heed this advice........hire a good investigator, and a good attorney like Bill Parry who knows who the major players are in this sea of characters and legalities to help you through this.

If you find yourself in need of an outstanding criminal defense attorney, look no further than Leah. I chose the one with all 5 star reviews with an office located across the street from the Van Nuys court house. I figured she might know people there which could be a good thing. When I called her with my issue, she was out of the office as her daughter was having a baby. I left a message (crying hysterically) on the voice mail. She called back within 10 minutes and kept me on the phone until I could get set up with immediate face to face help (with her partner in the office). I could literally hear a baby crying in the background. Maybe she was in the delivery room? So the baby and I were BOTH crying--me from the mess I got myself into, and the baby for more obvious reasons. I went in that same afternoon to speak with her legal partner, Mr. Melnick, and they immediately began to work on my case to ease my nerves. They are very good with anything psych related. She went to court--over and over again, without settling for anything less than a dismissal with some community service. This was no easy task as it was a very delicate, difficult, embarrassing, case which had to be presented with kid gloves. This lady knows how to seamlessly deal with the client, DA, and judge while developing rapport in a most sublime way. It would have been in her favor $ and time wise to settle (sooner) as she does not get paid extra money when this is drawn out as it was--but no, she really does care about the client, and drawing this out eventually helped to get this dismissed. I sweat bullets for months and I know it was not easy for her, either, but she is too kind to admit it. She is calm and cool, always maintaining a positive, professional demeanor. When I thanked her, she said, "No need, I love doing this sort of thing". The fact that she apparently has lots of children probably works in her favor (as well as the clients) since she understands all the complexities that one can have and how a mostly good person can get into a legal snafoo. She is anything but judgy. Lastly, Leah actually saved my life. I was ready to jump off the cliff at Universal Studios (although I would never admit to such a thing) because I literally saw no way out when I called her. How she knew this, I don't know. Why she would stay on the phone with me when she was on leave for the birth of her granddaughter is beyond me as well. That said, if you find yourself in a desperate situation, give this lady a call. She may even save your life as she did mine:)
