If you want the best, hire Tim.
A number of years ago, my police officer boyfriend assaulted me in my own home. I called the police who took my boyfriend aside and convinced him to spin this against me. They then arrested me for assault, despite the fact that I had defensive wounds.
Through Tim's extensive forensic evidence connections, we were able to get the recordings of the responding officers talking my boyfriend into pressing charges against me and coaching him what to say. This was difficult, as the police "accidentally" deleted the files, but Tim's people were able to recover the recordings. Despite this, the judge allowed the DA to suppress this evidence. Even with all this against me, Tim was still able to get the charges against me dropped.
I can only imagine what would have happened to me if not for Tim's expert defense. I would have lost my job, my professional license, and been sent to prison for assaulting an officer. This would have destroyed my life.
Hire Tim. He will give you a no B.S. assessment of your situation and your options, and will vigorously defend you. Trust me, you do not want to risk your life with a Public Defender or a cheap/inexperienced attorney. Go with the best; go with Tim.

Vanessa is very knowledgeable in what she does. Her professionalism and passion made this extremely tough time for me remarkably smooth. She was always able to give me all the information I needed and made very clear of the possible outcomes. Communication with her was open at all times and if she is busy, she would make sure to get back to you as soon as she could. I had 4 misdemeanors charged against me with 60 days custody over my head. My son got into some trouble before Covid hit and of course he had just turned 18, without Mr. Joseph Mastro Attorney-at-Law this could have been much worse. We called so many lawyers and no one would return our calls or they told us they were to busy. Mr. Mastro answered and spent about a half hour just talking to us, he did not ask for money to talk to us, just gave us some advice which he did not need to do without payment.
Since no-one in my family has ever been in legal trouble before we were overwhelmed and wanted to be safe so we hired him on the spot, Mr. Mastro walked my son and us through the steps and was able to get the case dismissed. Luckily this was an eye opening event for my son and he has learned a lesson, something so small can have the potential to screw up the rest of your life.
Thank you again Mr. Mastro for walking us through the process and helping get this case resolved, I hope we never have to use your services again but we will always keep your information for emergencies.

Recently, I found myself in a potentially disasterous situation, and when I called for Mr. Thorman (who I had previously retained on a different case) I was told he had retired. Panic! However, Mr. Jared Winter stepped in for the rescue, literally.
First conversation: He informed me that he consulted with another lawyer prior to returning my call. I immediately felt a sense of relief (brainstorming among intellectuals often yields better results) at his honesty and then his advice that he gave me.
The consult was a goldmine: he instantly informed me what not to do (which incidently resulted in me not getting charged) and informed me what my legal obligations were.
Later that day I required more help as few more details came to light: I received a call back about 20 minutes later and he helped me with my option to navigate through my situation. When it did not work, the following business day Mr. Winter handled my issue with the police officer in such a manner that I did not have to personally meet/talk or even look at the officer. Mr. Winter mentioned the officer asked me to come in-person & hand some paperwork, however my lawyer maneuvered it so that it was e-mailed instead.
Lastly, during my first conversation Mr. Winter asked if I was okay, injury wise. It completely caught me off guard. It was unexpected and honestly refreshing! I've worked with a few lawyers and in my experience most were very "as a matter of fact" and focused only on prepping me on what to expect. I don't remember anyone ever asking me if I was okay.

Life is a complicated thing. As you attempt to make the best of it, we all make mistakes along the way. With my mistakes came consequences. I was arrested for making bad decisions, and I needed legal representation. I was arrested in Nevada, and because I was facing 3 felonies in California, I was held on a 30 day extradite hold at CCDC in Las Vegas. Because I was on a hold I didn't have a public defender or anybody representing me. If California wanted to pick me up, they had 30 days to come get me. I could have waited the 30 days, but regardless if California came or not, my warrants would still be active. I would have the same monkeys on my back as before the 30 days. A strong support system insisted that this can be handled differently than me just waiting. I decided to hire a lawyer. My mother did some research and found a firm where I was blessed with Jared Christian Winters. These charges were old, marijuana based, but still felonies. I am a professional and I couldn't bare being a felon. I didn't know if a lawyer could really do anything for me on an extradite. My boss is who translated everything to me because I was locked up, and he dealt with my lawyer more than I did. As time continued while locked up, Jared continued to fight for me. I felt comfortable with everything as he progressed through this case. I was in jail and I wasn't afraid. He pulled all punches to get this extradite lifted and me released. He was able to get my charges reduced in California, without me there, because I was in jail. Then with just misdemeanors it was evident that if I was in California, I would already be released. That made it clear that they weren't coming. It just had one problem, Clark County wouldn't facilitate the lift on the Nevada side. Mr. Winter went at it again. He eventually got my charges reduced, and was able to get my lift released with a citation signed by a lawyer in Nevada. From what I hear this is very rare. Not too many cases end in a lifted extradite hold. My original release date was on Thanksgiving of 2018. I was released a week early and got to spend the holiday with my family. This alone made hiring Jared as my lawyer the smartest thing I could have ever done when my freedom is at stake. After I was released, I called him and asked if we can hire him again. He went to court on those original felony charges that he was able to reduce while I was incarcerated in another state. Following court on December 13th, my entire case is dismissed. We all make mistakes, and we all deserve another chance. Sometimes we need life to give us a break. I thank you Jared Christian Winter for getting me that break, allowing me to move on with my life, and taking those monkeys off my back. I highly suggest others with legal issues do the same.

I've worked with other attorneys in the past mostly for family law, custody, divorce ect..... I hired Mr. Winter for a restraining order situation that I was in with a tenant that lived on my property. I was extremely pleased with his services. He was so on top of things! The whole entire process felt so streamlined. He made what could have been a very stressful situation very un-stressful. he was very responsive with communication and he also charged me a flat rate, which is so great!!!! Mr. Hennessey was my attorney many years ago, but from reading his reviews he has only continued to his greatness as an attorney... He represented me in a criminal case that started with me facing life. He always made sure to encourage me and let me know not to worry. During my case he fought so hard for my freedom and to ensure the courts treated me right that he ended up with a charge himself (which I believe was dismissed latter) for contempt of court from a shady judge. Well from that threat of life and after a lengthy trial I walked away with a sentence that was worthy of my crime. I never came to Mr. Hennessey an innocent man, I knew I did wrong and deserved punishment but Mr. Hennessey made sure that's what I got. Ive been out for some time now and have a good life now, and I honestly give Mr. Hennessey much credit for fighting so hard to allow me to have this second chance at life... I was struggling with my first offense and had no idea what was going to happen to me. I stressed beyond belief and I couldn't eat nor sleep.

My case was plagued with lots of police misconduct and violation of my rights. Every attorney I got was "ready" to fight or so they said until they got the retainer. All my previous attorneys wanted me to settle for ridiculous plea deals. Sean was the only attorney that was able to uncover 2 different police reports for my case and brought to light all the things the police lied about to get the case to stick. Sean is like a pit bull in the court room with still being beyond professional. If your case has a lot of issues or you simply just want someone that will actually be thorough and do what they say, get Sean.

When I was charged with possession of a gun in California. I didn't know who to call me being from out state. Six months ago, one of my children was arrested, and the charges were very serious. We immediately contacted Mr. Burak, who was incredibly supportive, and caring. During this difficult time, Mr. Burak always made sure that we were understanding what was going on with our child, as we had never been through anything like this before. Blackie defended me in a DUI case, which ended in a mistrial. We went back to trial a year later and Blackie convinced the DA and judge to dismiss the charges, and I was exonerated. Blackie is a hardworking and honest lawyer, and his wife Jane is understanding, caring and a pleasure to work with. I did quite a bit of research before retaining Blackie and also recently sat on a jury for another DUI trial. Put simply, I don't believe there is a better DUI legal team out there. All the other lawyers I talked to recommended I plead guilty. I'm glad I didn't listen to them and retained Blackie instead.

My case had multiple facets to it, but I was most interested in getting the finance aspects of my divorce taken care of by dividing the finances appropriately, rather than fighting and the courts getting all the money. I helped my boss and boss's wife get through a criminal charge against her. Michael Phillips was a savior in my DUI case. I would not have received the right judgments without him. He went through my case throughly and knew that I was treated unfairly. He went above and beyond all expectations. I won my DMV Court Hearing, which saved me from losing my license. To be honest if I lost the DMV court hearing I would of lost my job and my long distance relationship with my now husband would of suffered. He lived in San Diego and I lived in Huntington Beach, so driving to see each other was important. My court case was then dropped from a DUI to a Wet In Reckless.
Now he is helping me expunge my case for a great price. I don't really need the expungement because I own my business but for such a great price, I can't say no to the offer.
