After getting myself into some legal troubles and risking losing my drivers license for a year, I went on a lengthy search for the right lawyer to represent me in court. Luckily I found Mr. Linschied after several recommendations from esteemed legal professionals and selecting him was absolutely the best possible decision I could have made for myself and my future. Mr. Linscheid was always open to hearing me out and was very honest with me throughout the entire process of my trial. On top of this, Mr. Linscheid is very good at communicating what is happening to ensure that you know where your case sits every step of the way, and the various possible outcomes given your situation. He worked very hard to grant me the best possible outcome, and he went above and beyond ultimately bringing forth an outcome that far exceeded my expectations. It was one of the worst moments in my life. I was driving home and I crashed my car into a parked car. I was scared, lost, confused but most of all worried.
I was refered by a friend to a lawyer named Michael Linscheid, who turned out to be a saving grace.
He helped me go through the court system and provided me the reassurance that everything will be ok.
He is the utmost professional and his knowledge of the court system is extremely extensive.
After the court case had already happened, Michael followed up with me to ensure everything was on track to get my license back.
I would not be where I am today if it weren't for Michael.

I hired John Forsyth to help me get my husband out of jail after he was arrested on a fugitive warrant when, unbeknownst to us, charges were filed against him in another state. It took us 9 very stressful days to get him out, and I don’t know what I would have done without John Forsyth. At every turn, John gave practical, sound information and advice that empowered me to make decisions about next steps… pros and cons, implications of various decisions, etc. He cut through the quagmire of legal jargon and procedure to help me understand what was going on and what I needed to do. John was compassionate but did not sugarcoat the situation, give false hope, or do a lot of handholding… BUT he fought hard inside and outside the courtroom, kept me informed at every turn, and leveraged all of his experience, expertise, and resources to essentially get the best win possible. Hiring John to defend me in my case was the best thing I could have done. John is a true professional through and through. He is hard working, diligent, tenacious, and extremely knowledgeable. He is a straight shooter, and very focused, and keeps his clients informed at all times as to the goings on involving their case, no matter how small the detail may be.
John and his amazing defense team represented me in a sexual case where I was falsely accused, and was facing multiple charges that would have resulted in possible life sentences. My case dragged on for 3+ years in part, due to the closure of the court system due to the pandemic, and John stood by me every step of the way. Throughout the entire ordeal, John worked on my case with true professionalism, and always kept me updated as to what was happening, and what was the next step we would be facing as the proceedings continued. Knowing the severity of the accusations I was facing, John also acknowledged my fears and anxieties throughout the case, and displayed a very compassionate side as well by always encouraging me to stay strong.
As the prosecution continued to try different tactics ( ie...attempting to raise my bail, adding charges ), John always had answers that negated all of their attempts. John and his team responded to every "curveball" the prosecution threw at them in a timely and professional manner.
Ultimately, a plea was offered for a much lesser charge, and we agreed, as this would be absolutely the best possible outcome to what were the original charges. Although I didn't receive the full exoneration I had hoped for, I owe my freedom an my life to John Forsyth.
To anyone who is facing criminal charges of any kind, I highly recommend you look no further than John Forsyth. He is amazing, and between him and his team of professionals, I personally can not imagine you would find anyone better than John.
My gratitude goes beyond a simple thank you, but THANK YOU John for giving me back my future, and my life! God bless you, and all who worked so hard on my behalf.

I am currently going through the hardest time in my life, I never thought that I would be facing the uphill battles I currently am and I never thought that someone I hardly knew could care so much about not only helping me in the courtroom but also in my personal life. Ms. Bassis is very responsive and super knowledgeable about the appeals process. I had some technical questions and she knew the codes and cases inside out. I spoke with several attorneys before her and she was the first to know the process in detail and who could answer my questions easily and with confidence. I've learned there are lots of details in an appeal that can make a significant difference in success and she knew those details. I could not have asked for a more caring and knowledgeable Attorney. Ms. Bassis was trustworthy, knowledgeable and caring. Would highly recommend. She answered all questions from both me and my family and if she didn't know the answer she looked it up. She sent us copies of everything. She took our calls or called back immediately and wrote the most beautiful arguments that it made me want to cry. I wasn't in court for oral argument but I understand she stood up the the Judges and made a beautiful, impassioned argument. I was falsely accused of a crime that carried a life sentence. As a member of the military who served overseas, being falsely accused of a crime was something that I never expected to happen. It tore apart my beliefs in the system that I had fought so ardently to defend. I found Ms. Bassis through this site and ever since then my life has changed. Ms. Bassis is extremely good at what she does. She was supremely competent and knowledgeable. It allowed me to be confident and realistic about what was happening to me. My case was dismissed after Ms. Bassis appealed, something almost unheard of in Los Angeles County. The important thing to know here is that Ms. Bassis has single handedly given me my life back and showed me that the system does work and proven that she is an amazing person and an incredible lawyer. After years of being harassed by my neighbor and his father, I filed for a restraining order. The attorney helping me was charging me for things he never did and it became clear it wasn't working out. I found Mike, thankfully, and he guided me to a resolution. When I was seeking out a criminal Attorney and presenting my charges 4 felonies, 3 Attorney's said I will have to do jail time until I met Cory Fuller he assured me he could get charges dropped or reduced and he did just that. No jail time 3 felonies dropped 1 reduced to a misdemeanor 1 year informal probation. I was so relieved. Hire this Attorney don't worry about money worry about your freedom and record. I had a great experience with Mr.Piibe from the first consultation in person to the end of the case.
My immigration case was very complicated to a point where not many attorneys were interested in taking it. Mr.Piibe was the 4th attorney for me and the last one. He was very attentive to all the issues in the case, took very personable approach, made me feel he cared for me and the case, and not just another "case in the box". He took a deeper dive into it and worked very hard. He made sure the case was well prepared. Every time I contacted him with questions about the case he would get back to me right away and always with a lot of attention to all the details in answering. Due to his knowledge and diligence it got approved at the end.

Marc helped me out with a traffic ticket that I got a few years back. I don't live in California and I needed Marc to appear in court for me. He informed me that there would be additional fees added to the initial fine for the ticket. In the end, he got the fine reduced which I was hoping he could do. Was driving home after a dinner party and had a few cocktails earlier in the night. Was pulled over by two motorcycle cops. I wasn't speeding, wasn't driving erratic, etc.... I asked what did I do wrong to the officers? Ma'am ur tail light is out, are you aware of this. They asked me to get out take the sobriety test which I wouldn't have passed sober or not and to blow. To make a long story short I should've gotten a DUI but after hiring MELISSA I got a dry for my first time offense. It's unheard of that she got me this, BUT OH BOY SHE DID!!!! I cannot recommend Andres Ortiz enough! He was able to keep my Father from getting deported despite an extensive and complicated criminal history. A case highly challenging that no other immigration attorney dared to undertake. I consulted and hired the wrong immigration attorneys until my colleague and good friend (also an immigration attorney and previously a USCIS employee) suggested Andres Ortiz. She told me that “If Andres can’t help you, then nobody can”. Andres quickly rose and surpassed all expectations. I could make a guess at what his IQ is, but either way I am sure it is off the charts. Matthew might be one of the brilliant persons I have encountered in my lifetime-I feel like I found treasure in coming across his information. With the increasing complexity of often contradictory laws, it takes brilliance and very significant ingenuity to keep our legal system both fair and sensible. Hooman Kazemi is both brilliant and extremely skilled. In my case, he was able to change the charge against me from one that was unfair, to one that was factually correct and fair. He also negotiated a very fair and considerate resolution with the Prosecutor. Without his skill and thorough knowledge, I am certain that I would have been illogically and unfairly punished for a very simple and unintentional oversight.
