According to Les, as observed by me I was impressed at this young attorney’s popularity and interaction with the court officials in @ least 3 different court rooms. Mr. White was originally my court appointed attorney for a MTR case that consisted of two separate charges. He was very affective in getting me a continued probation instead of it being revoked or my suffering any additional consequences. He was eager to listen, and took into full consideration all that I said, and understood my frustration with the system. All said I was confident in his approach to the prosecuting attorney that I would have a positive outcome in this case. As a court appointed attorney I was impressed with his eagerness and willingness to fight for my defense. In light of his due diligence I have retained Mr. White to replace my previous attorney in a separate and more serious case. In addition he accepted my case with very short notice and quoted a very reasonable fee that was @ least less than 1/3 of that of my previous attorney. However as it stands my case has not yet gone to trail, so my future still lies in the balance of this young attorney’s ability, diligence, and integrity. I will be sure to update the outcome of my case on this post. In conclusion thus far I would certainly recommend Mr. White. to my friends or family.

On representing my Husband, Mr. Kendall took time out of his day to listen to my concerns and information. He was straightforward about his perception but listened to my thoughts and found areas where his expertise could be used in our defense. He adamantly stands for what He believes in and pursues with integrity.

I want to thank Attorney Thomas F. Adkisson and Ms. Patty at 2823 E. Southcross Blvd. San Antonio, Texas 78223 for going beyond their line of duty in assisting me with a dilemma. I had an important document that needed to be faxed. My bank at the time wasn't able to fax the document to Bexar County Attorney's District Office downtown. AT & T phone line service servers were down at the time causing problems for a lot of businesses. My bank called Attorney Adkisson's office asking about the fee price to have it faxed for me. No charge! Attorney Adkisson and Ms. Patty were extremely polite, friendly, kind, courteous and professional. I want anyone needing an Attorney or other services to realize this Attorney office proved to me how not only how they do business but also showed the kindness and extreme professionalism of who they are! Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart! 💝 Sincerely, Cynthia G Rodriguez

The first two reviews you see here are from two vindictive mothers, trying to keep children away from the fathers. If you want fairness justice, abd somebody who will actually fight for you. Hire her she will not let you lie you cannot make up lies. You cannot be vindictive. She will help you down to the bottom. Another lawyer practically stole my money and I ended up with L Gavito. At first I thought she was rude with how short she kept phone calls and I was getting and thinking my case is just another pile for her. The words "lazy" and "incompetent" are often thrown around without much thought, especially in describing lawyers. In this case, I believe both terms are fully merited. John J. Ritenour Jr. is an appallingly bad attorney who should be disbarred. In 2015, Ritenour was assigned to serve as a public defender for a client appealing a death sentence. He met briefly with that client once. He failed to follow up on any of the evidence the client presented him. Let me be clear, this wasn't a case where a lawyer declined to present looney-tunes nonsense that was easily disproven - such situations do happen frequently. This was a case where Ritenour failed to even perform a cursory check of the client's evidence, as if he had already made up his mind beforehand to not present the evidence. He then submitted a poorly copy-pasted brief with the wrong client's name on it (seriously, ChatGPT could write a better brief), unsigned by his client (clients are required to sign legal briefs such as this, but Ritenour couldn't be bothered to meet with his client a second time to secure the signature), and then told the court his client "must lose". It doesn't matter if the client was guilty or not - that's for the court to decide, not the client's own lawyer. If he was truly convinced his client was guilty, Ritenour could have - should have - asked the court to provide his client with a different lawyer, but instead decided to subvert the very system of law itself to intentionally sink his client's case. Appalling behavior. See https://www.supremecourt.gov/DocketPDF/23/23-323/280300/20230922191006608_Gamboa--Final%20Petition%2009-22%20rtf.pdf for a Supreme Court petition regarding this incident.

Then turned in a replica habeas brief for a different defendant leaving that defendant’s name and grammar / spelling mistakes. In my opinion, there's no one better. I've hired several attorneys due to custody issues for my son. Her office was the most efficient, informative, pleasant, empathetic staff I've ever worked with. Going to court is never a positive experience, but Ana Hessbrook's practice made me comfortable, prepared, and confident. She was communicative and very good at returning calls and emails. She helped me win rights for my child that I had fought for over 7 years. I found her courtroom demeanor to be cool, confident, assertive, and very well versed in the Texas Family Code Laws and the Judicial practice. She doesn't get pushed around like some other attorneys. I wouldn't go to court in Texas with anyone else for a family law case. I am very satisfied and highly recommend her competent services because she wins cases.

Back in 2010 I was arrested for possession of marijuana. I was called to court, showed up the first time and didn't go back after. I had a warrant out for my arrest and moved to California in 2011. Between then and now, my family in Texas had received many letters and phone calls from the bail bonds threatening to take my family's property etc. Just recently, I decided to take care of this issue. I called Mr. Finkel because he had dealt with a case with my family years back. I was expecting the worst, time in jail and/or a large fine because of additional prior charges. From California, I paid a low, flat rate fee to have Mr. Finkel look at the case and see what he could do for me. He made sure to stay in touch when any new information arose and kept me informed as needed. Initially, Mr. Finkel told me that I would most likely have to turn myself in and do close to 30 days in jail. After sharing more information about a potential bias in my arrest, I heard from Mr. Finkel, in less than a week, stating that the case had been dropped, completely. I am extremely pleased with his services, especially services done long distance. I can't thank him enough!

My family and I spent a lot of money on Mrs. Vela and he didn't do a good job representing me. I had never been in trouble before and instead of working with the co defendant he worked against her. She got off with less time and less everything compared to me and her lawyer was free. I also needed him later on to try and get me off earlier and sent another $1000 in and instead he used that money for paperwork which I provided for something else. I have paid him over $8000 and 5 years later I'm still on probation. I've requested information for my case and never received it. He promised a lot and came through with nothing that makes him untrustworthy. He was never responsive I alway has to call a few times to get ahold of him. He also never kept me informed unless I made the initiative.

Best Attorney of 2022. Ms Natasha Torres is an awesome attorney who works hard for her clients and makes sure you understand everything clearly and she even met up with me a second time to review the discovery to make sure I could review everything myself and have transparency throughout my case. I always thought public defenders didn't care as much for their clients but Natasha showed me the opposite. If I would've paid for her to represent me I would've been completely satisfied because I felt like she truly was working for me despite being court appointed,if you are looking for a good attorney in Texas look no further, I just felt the need to give my honest feedback on something that can help someone else in the future. I promise she won't disappoint, and will discuss the best options for you to take in your specific situation. She's very friendly, professional, understanding, transparent, and does her job very well and she's very beautiful on top of that so give her a call if you need legal representation don't think twice I can vouch on it that you won't be disappointed!

Gayle Caldarolla was Court Appointed. She immediately understood my position. I couldn't get over how quick thinking and compassionate she was. I had no money, and for that, I was so embarrassed. I feel Gayle Gayle still understood and had great empathy for my situation. I was hugely impressed with her rapport and compassion for my problem. I wish I could afford an attorney, but I found Gay was so bright and quickly understood things I didn't even understand. Personable, honest, and energetic. I did not expect that. Everyone from the Bail Bond people to other regular people told me how you could never depend on a court-appointed attorney, and in my case, I found that to be a completely false impression. She was so quick and smart, and I never felt that she looked down on me because of my financial situation. There was a time in my life when money was never an issue, but due to my pathological divorce situation, I was stripped of my career, home, and children's access. Needless to say, I would never have expected her to understand such a nightmare. I was "banished." I asked her frankly after she took the time to read just one paragraph of what happened to me, and she immediately admitted that she had never heard of that or seen it in her 38 years of legal practice. I admired her honesty and understanding, and I only wish I could pay her for what I believe is one of the most important issues facing Divorce Law and Family Courts today, as it was in 1987 when I read about this in my former husband's Psychiatry Journals. I've been aware of this quagmire since 1987 when my daughter was 6-7. She and I have suffered over this rhetorical mess of semantics for 36 years. She is now 42 years old, and it is still hanging in the air that the Mental Health and Legal Justice communities have STILL not been able to give this life-altering, damaging, and cruel issue. There IS something that they cannot seem to be able to "name." As Will said, "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet." They have been fighting over the rhetoric of this devastating family law debate since Richard Gardner first coined the term "Parental Alienation Syndrome." NOBODY, not anyone on either side of the aisle, seems to be able to comprehend this most devastating form of the Emotional/Psychological Abuse of a Child, DSM v.995.51, among others, to explain this most endlessly severe and life-altering psychological devastation and abuse of one's child. It is well known among the Psychological and Psychiatric Community that Child Sexual Abuse, Child Physical Abuse that Psychological and Emotional Abuse of a Child (or teen) is the worst form of lifelong, intractable, and almost impossible to help the state of abuse of a child, including adolescents and teens. No one (to my knowledge) has ever been able to pierce this veil of this condition's dishonesty and vile nature. I did not even have to say any of this to Gayle Caldarolla because it was evident that she "got it" within minutes. No arguments, no humiliation, no belittling of me, just an eye-to-eye understanding of the swamp I have lived with for the past 23 years. Her interpersonal skills are remarkable, and she seemed to possess a fantastic grasp of my issues without me speaking. She told me I could Take care of this for yourself. I went through an unreasonably litigious divorce, which ended in my banishment by a powerful expert witness within the courts who just happened to be the man I was married to. She got that. I want to say almost immediately, as a seasoned surgeon would immediately diagnose appendicitis. She read this one page so fast that I was astounded by her professional level of legal knowledge and understanding of this long overdue issue's horrific, devastating, life-destroying nature. I'm talking about malignant and narcissistic abuse and attachment-based separation of child and mother. I do not mean to be overzealous. She's a fantastic attorney.

Mr. Flores was retained by my ex wife to conduct an “amicable” divorce. I paid him for said services. He did an amazing job of making the proceedings as animosity-laden as he could. Legal malpractice 101 is a very old scam: stall the guy who will be paying child support and/or spousal maintenance by enabling the signer to refuse to sign final papers for months at a time. Then hit the guy up for out of pocket cash on the pretense that the state will accept the receipts (they won’t), use shame, guilt, you name it, to secure as much cash as possible, then tell the guy, “sorry” when the state hits him for the full amount plus what he gave through the attorney so his now ex wife can refuse to get a job. Ruben tried this with me, but I saw him coming. I countered with an offer to make said payment on the condition that he swear an affidavit that if the state refused to accept the receipts he would reimburse me the $15,000 he was demanding. The state always refuses to accept receipts from divorce lawyers because they don’t get reimbursed for federal matching funds from receipts; just cash. When he declined, the game became apparent. It’s sleaze 101.

Michelle Lanfear was referred to me by another attorney. My first impression was that she was aggressive and attentive. Nothing could have been further from the truth. She was never around for anything, highly impatient, and let my ex-wife's attorney run all over her. Her employee was extremely rude to me and threatened me on several occasions. Her associate attorneys were great. However, that was the only saving grace in my experience with that firm. Never again!

This lady is very disorganized, she showed up very late on three occasions, and there was a new excuse each time. One of the occasions she "forgot" about the court date. While waiting for the hearing, while my opposing lawyer was sitting, talking and preparing with her client (the mother of my child) , my lawyer went to talk with her friends and left me sitting alone for over an hour. This was my first time in court and I didn't know what to do or what to prepare myself for. Instead of seeing a judge, she thought it was a good idea to try and reason with the other lawyer, since she said it was much easier that way than going before a judge. She told me that if I went before a judge, there's a chance that I'll lose everything. I didn't know much about orders and custody laws at the time, and I left in worse shape and paying much more child support than when I went in. She seemed nice during my consultation, but when we were in the courtroom, it was like if she teamed up with the other lawyer to bring me down together. I was a victim in this case being wrongfully sued and the only good that came from it is that the mother of my child dropped the suit and gave in. Looking back on it and knowing what I know now, I would have been better off representing myself and standing before a judge, and saving thousands in the process. I learned my lesson so you don't have to. Seek anyone else, this woman will leave you with less custody rights and a lot less money.

Anything that doesn't require effort she'll be fine. If you need a real lawyer invested in your best interests that's willing to work for a solution to your specific problem avoid this woman. She's completely incompetent aside from filing paper work as a paralegal would do. I hired her for a custody case and I ended up paying $400 a month in childcare and losing custody based on her suggestion that was completely wrong for my situation after I paid her a ridiculous amount of money. She didn't keep me informed and she didn't take any time to discuss the different legal routes available to me. She did what was easiest for her. She's horrible!!!! Now I have to wait three years before going back to court, and she never informed me if that until after the fact or I would of never went into mediation.

Hello R. M. Gonzales, You are very hard to get in contact with An order is due for defendant Brandon Stilling. He must have the leg monitor removed and time served as well as dismissal shall be implemented for his erraneous detainment- he in fact isnot "Albert Saenz" who is stealing the identity of Brandon. He does not fit in the catagory that characterizes a violent person. The stipulation is rendered cruel and unconstitiutoonal-malfeasance modifications will be presented to a higher court if dismissal/judgenent satisfied is not granted.

I had the unfortunate experience along with my husband of having to deal with this horrible example of a child advocate! She was self-centered, condescending, rude, self absorbed, narcissistic, and flat out the most biased person I have ever met in my entire life. There aren't enough examples I can give of how horrible she actually was in an overall manor. We were fighting for custody of my step children (who I consider my children), because we want a better future for them, and she did not follow through with what she said she would and acted very unprofessionally. I am sad that she did not do her job to the best of her ability and all we continued to get from her was how great she was and all the accomplishments she had under her belt (I never witnessed anything good at all). She also lied under oath and never followed through with the services we paid for up front. I was also disgusted when she compared her niece who has a birth defect with my step daughter who has a slight learning disability (how disgusting for her to belittle that). I am appalled that she is continually allowed to represent children and be their voice when she does not do her job. She also had the nerve in court to call my mother a Step grandmother, and she said a lot of people might be offended because my mother isn't blood (so she shouldn't be called grandma), but the sad truth is my parents treat them as if they were their blood grandchildren and more so than the kids actual blood grandparents (SAD)! I am seriously disgusted with Rosie Gonzalez's actions in and out of court. I would never recommend her to anyone, because I don't want anyone to go through what we had to go through. She formed an opinion and was biased from the start. She can't stand questions and if you disagree with her she will be nasty to you. She also went after one of our witnesses (a family member) so much to point she tried to get him fired, but a witness from the other side lied on the stand and she did nothing. We were told by many that they felt she acted unprofessionally the entire time and they though she was an attorney for the other side. Please don't use this woman!!! I am not stopping here as I don't want her to put anyone else through what she put us through. I know no one is perfect and life takes you in many directions, but the truth is the truth. If I could rate a negative star I would.

After hearing many strong opinions about Rosie fighting for a child's best interest, we immediately consulted with her and confidently made the choice to retain her for a custody dispute. When we went to court, the attorney representing my wife's ex-husband was brutal while my wife was on the stand and Rosie sat back and watched. When my wife's ex husband was on the stand, Rosie took it easy on him and did not bother to question the validity of the false accusations he made against my wife like we had discussed prior to court. The judge ruled we were to take more time and try to work things out which from his perspective would make sense considering he only heard the ex's side from his aggressive attorney and not my wife's side from Rosie. During this temporary time, more complications arose for our child and Rosie would only represent us again for more money (even though we were still coming back with the initial issue and no real resolution for our child's well-being). This was our first experience going though a custody dispute, and Rosie had gained our trust. Though it was a struggle, we pulled together the funds for Rosie's services again and we were back in court. The second time around ended badly for our child. When push came to shove Rosie caved and suggested we agree to the ex-husband's demands because we couldn't afford her services to pursue the dispute in court. Unfortunately we trusted her and gave in to the ex-husband's demands. After that, our child continued to endure mental and emotional abuse from my wife's ex-husband. We did all we could to afford taking him back to court, but that time we chose a different attorney. Come to find out, the new attorney we retained confirmed Rosie didn't represent us properly. Now we are trying to untangle everything Rosie did. Our child continues to suffer at the cruel hand of my ex-wife's husband thanks to Rosie Gonzalez, but little by little we are changing the situation now that it is being addressed by a professional attorney who is genuine and capable of getting to the core of the issue and seeking proper resolution in the best interest of our child. From personal experience, I will never recommend Rosie Gonzalez for custody issues if you truly care about your child's well-being. She's a nice lady but not a good attorney.

Mr. Millan was court appointed in Comal County Court. He stopped communicating in any way with me or my family. Multiple phone calls and texts went unanswered. My court case was reset multiple times, with me in attendance in the holding room of the courthouse, and he never spoke to me once. Now, it’s been over 3 months and I have had no communication. He seems disinterested in my case. Terminating him as of today. He has been reprimanded by the Texas State Bar in the past and I would NEVER recommend him as your attorney. He has foul language and is not a respectable person. He is incompetent, and does a disservice to his field. Much better attorneys available.

I used James Milan as a last resort recommendation on not one. But two cases. One was for an accident and another a first time offense of being falsely accused of assault. He made me believe that I was “Gonna be okay” being that it was a first time offense. He signed off and did not present any evidence nor my witness landing me in a horrible situation that has not only caused me distress but had me throw $5k of my hard earned money away when it could’ve gone on a lawyer who does their job. Had I been advised I had 30 days to hire a new council or request a trial. I would have. I have deep regret for using this incompetent and horrible representative of a man. He should not practice law and should hardly be used to “Defend” anyone as he is not fit to do so. He did nothing for me and I assure you anyone is better to hire than this man. Don’t make the mistake I did.

Mr. Young is the best choice. I first met him a an appointed attorney. He took the time to come to the jail very regularly to prepare for trial. We won! Not guilty. Smart guy, humble. He will fight for you. Since then we have hired him on two other cases. Great man, to have in your corner.

We were treated with the bait and switch approach to our plea bargain. We were told one thing, which we reluctantly agreed to, and of course regretted when none of what we were told proved true. A supposed clerical error was more than Mr. Young had time to be bothered with or could find the time to dedicate to. Now my kids mother sits in PRISON beyond her agreed upon release date while Mr. Young focuses more on the cases with pending payments than one for which he has been paid in full. I would never trust this man. Do so at your in peril.

Mr. Hajek has helped my family several times in the last several years with cases. He has been a God send in so many ways. He's honest, reliable, knowledgeable, and helpful. He is straight forward in his determinations of how best to accomplish what you want. He defended my husband and his service dog in Court and helped to save her from being taken away. Without his help, my husband who is a disabled vet, would have been virtually homebound. But thanks to Mr. Hajek, my husband has his life back and he was able to keep his service dog.

What a Criminal Defense Lawyer Can Do for You

A criminal defense lawyer provides legal representation to individuals or organizations accused of criminal conduct. If you're facing criminal charges, a defense lawyer will work to protect your rights, build a defense strategy, and ensure you receive a fair trial. Their primary goal is to reduce or dismiss charges, secure an acquittal, or negotiate a favorable plea deal.

Criminal defense lawyers have extensive knowledge of criminal law and court procedures. They investigate your case, identify weaknesses in the prosecution's evidence, and represent you in court, ensuring that you have the best possible defense.

When Should I Hire a Criminal Defense Lawyer?

It’s crucial to hire a criminal defense lawyer as soon as possible if you are facing any criminal charges. Some situations in which you should seek legal representation include:

  • Arrest or police questioning: If you've been arrested or are under investigation, hiring a lawyer early on can prevent self-incrimination and protect your rights during police questioning.
  • Felony charges: Crimes such as murder, assault, drug trafficking, or robbery carry severe penalties, including long prison sentences. A defense lawyer is essential in these cases.
  • Misdemeanor charges: Even for less serious offenses like DUI, theft, or simple assault, a lawyer can help reduce penalties, negotiate alternatives to jail, or get charges dismissed.
  • Plea negotiations: If you’re considering a plea bargain, a lawyer can evaluate the deal, advise you on its consequences, and negotiate for more favorable terms.
  • Probation or parole violations: If you’ve been accused of violating probation or parole, a lawyer can defend you against additional penalties or revocation.
  • Juvenile offenses: For minors charged with criminal acts, a criminal defense lawyer can protect their future by minimizing legal repercussions or keeping the case in juvenile court.

What Does a Criminal Defense Lawyer Do?

Criminal defense lawyers provide comprehensive legal services to protect their clients’ rights throughout the criminal justice process. Their duties include:

  • Case evaluation and investigation: Reviewing the evidence, interviewing witnesses, and investigating the facts to develop a strong defense strategy.
  • Legal advice: Advising you on your rights, the charges you’re facing, and potential defense strategies, including whether to take a plea deal or go to trial.
  • Negotiating plea bargains: Working with prosecutors to negotiate a plea deal that could reduce charges or minimize penalties.
  • Court representation: Representing you in all court hearings, including bail hearings, pretrial motions, trials, and sentencing hearings.
  • Filing motions: Filing motions to dismiss charges, suppress evidence, or reduce bail, depending on the specifics of your case.
  • Trial preparation and defense: Preparing a defense strategy and presenting arguments, evidence, and witnesses during trial to contest the prosecution's case.
  • Appeals: If you are convicted, a defense lawyer can appeal the conviction or sentence, arguing errors in the trial process or legal rulings.

How Are Criminal Defense Lawyers Paid?

Criminal defense lawyers generally charge clients in one of three ways, depending on the complexity of the case and the lawyer’s experience. Payment structures include:

  • Flat fee: For straightforward cases (e.g., minor misdemeanors), some lawyers charge a one-time flat fee that covers all aspects of the defense.
  • Hourly rate: For more complex or ongoing cases, lawyers may charge by the hour, with rates varying based on the lawyer’s experience and geographic location.
  • Retainer fee: In cases where extensive work is expected, the client may pay a retainer fee upfront. The lawyer then bills against that retainer for their work on the case.

The cost of criminal defense services can vary greatly, so it’s important to discuss fees during your initial consultation.

How Much Does a Criminal Defense Lawyer Cost?

The cost of hiring a criminal defense lawyer depends on several factors, including the severity of the charges, the complexity of the case, and the lawyer’s experience. General cost guidelines are:

  • Misdemeanor cases: For relatively minor offenses, such as a DUI or petty theft, a flat fee may range from $1,500 to $5,000.
  • Felony cases: More serious charges, such as assault or drug trafficking, can range from $10,000 to $100,000 or more, depending on the complexity and duration of the case.
  • Hourly rates: For cases billed by the hour, lawyers may charge anywhere from $150 to $500 or more per hour, depending on their expertise and the case's location.
  • Additional expenses: You may also be responsible for other costs, such as filing fees, expert witness fees, or the cost of private investigators.

Be sure to clarify the lawyer’s fee structure and any potential additional costs during your consultation.

Top Questions to Ask a Criminal Defense Lawyer

Before hiring a criminal defense lawyer, you’ll want to ensure that they’re a good fit for your case. Here are key questions to ask:

  1. What is your experience with cases like mine?
Make sure the lawyer has a strong track record with the specific type of criminal charges you’re facing, whether it’s DUI, drug offenses, or violent crimes.
  2. What is your fee structure?
Ask how the lawyer charges for their services and whether you’ll be responsible for any additional costs.
  3. What are the potential outcomes of my case?
A good lawyer should provide an honest assessment of your case and the likelihood of dismissal, a plea bargain, or conviction.
  4. How many cases have you taken to trial?
While many criminal cases settle with a plea deal, it’s important to hire a lawyer with courtroom experience in case your case goes to trial.
  5. Who will handle my case?
Ask if the lawyer will be personally involved or if other attorneys in the firm will handle most of the work.
  6. How do you communicate with your clients?
Be clear on how often and through what channels you can expect updates on your case.

How to Check the Credibility of a Criminal Defense Lawyer

To verify the credibility of a criminal defense lawyer, take the following steps:

  • Check their standing with the state bar: Confirm that the lawyer is licensed and in good standing with your state’s bar association. Look for any past disciplinary actions or complaints.
  • Read online reviews and testimonials: Platforms like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, or Google can provide insights from previous clients about the lawyer’s communication, professionalism, and case outcomes.
  • Ask for references: A reputable lawyer should have past clients or other professionals who can speak to their competence and work ethic.
  • Review their case history: Look at the lawyer’s website or professional profile to see their experience with criminal cases, including high-profile or complex cases.
  • Look for trial experience: If your case might go to trial, make sure the lawyer has a strong history of courtroom advocacy and success.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your first consultation with a criminal defense lawyer, bring the following:

  • Details of your case: Be prepared to provide a detailed account of the charges against you, including any documents related to your arrest, police reports, and court dates.
  • Criminal history: If you have any prior criminal convictions, inform your lawyer so they can understand how that may affect your current case.
  • List of witnesses or evidence: If there are any potential witnesses or evidence that may support your defense, share this information during the consultation.
  • Questions for the lawyer: Prepare questions about their experience, legal strategy, and fees to ensure you understand how they will handle your case.
  • Bail or release documents: If you’ve been released on bail, bring any paperwork related to your release conditions or restrictions.

By being well-prepared, you can help your lawyer quickly assess your situation and begin building an effective defense strategy.
