Judy Morse and her team took over my divorce after my first attorney left me high and dry. She was recommended to me by not one but two (!) separate acquaintances. Her firm was highly responsive, answering all my questions and concerns as they came up throughout the process, and Judy and her associate offered suggestions and strategies at every turn. Judy also drove our mediation, and I was very impressed with her on-the-fly thinking that helped us reach alignment. Judy also is great at politely but firmly removing emotion from the process, which (I came to learn) is essential in divorce proceedings. I HIGHLY recommend this team to anyone facing a high-conflict separation.

I had an issue with my husband's greedy heirs and needed legal counsel. In my search for representation I talked to no less than 6 firms. Joseph T. Kirshy of Owens Perkins was the only attorney who actually listened to me. My search was arduous but I kept coming back to Owens Perkins and Mr. Kirshy and he always took my calls. The thing to know is that he never charged me for a consultation or the advise he gave me. I did ask him, "how do I pay you?" He told me that, based on the information that I had given him on our calls, I was covered and that there was no need for me to spend my money, at this critical time, on attorney fees. Truly Astounding, Extraordinary and down-right Exceptional! New to Phoenix, I found myself needing a lawyer regarding a difficult landlord situation. I did a google search, wrote down a few names and randomly made my first call to Scott McWilliams for a very reasonably priced $50 initial consultation. I explained the issue to Mr. McWilliams and he provided me with clear, concise information on AZ law, then gave me the specific statute numbers so I could also easily reference them myself. He advised me on the pros and cons of multiple courses of action, offered excellent solutions I had not considered, and gave me guidance on how to proceed, depending on which course of action I would eventually take. The issue is close to being resolved, and I may need Mr. McWilliams' expertise to review the final agreement, but he got me to the goal line with a $50 consultation. It was, without a doubt, the best legal services value I have had in the past 40+ years.

For $50.00 and I think 30 - 60 min of his time, he reviewed the docs I brought and advised me where to begin with what forms to file. He advised for the amount I was being sued for, it wouldn't be cost-effective for him to take my case, but offered extended consult services at his rate of $325./hr Thank you, attorney McWilliams for taking the time to meet with me.

Aaron was God sent! Everything that happened with my brother happened so fast and the county law enforcement agency was in a hurry to hang my brother high and dry. Our family frantically searched for someone to represent our loved one with about 24 hours until he was in front of a judge on a SUNDAY! Aarons name showed during the search. Once we made the call we knew we had the right man. Aaron was insanely quick, communicative, available and caring. What stood out to me was he gave a s***! I remember speaking to him and trying to explain the situation and respectfully Aaron stopped me and said "I'm not being rude but right now my concern is making sure I am there with him in person and then we can over details later." He got suited up and drove to represent my brother with just a few hours until he (my brother) was to be seen. Aaron showed up dressed to the nines! well groomed and stood with confidence from there on out that level of professionalism didn't stop.. He helped my brother when everyone else was looking at him less than a human. He handled this case so professionally and proficiently I cannot express how much gratitude I have for his work ethic. I used Gregg for my divorce. I knew that he had a wealth of experience with CPS, criminal, and family court matters. He is well respected and quick on his feet. He is passionate and one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. Most attorneys have a bad reputation. Not Gregg! He is a must have on your side.

I've been so happy with Mr. Woodnick. I was a nervous wreck -- I couldn't sleep, I was losing weight, and felt honestly like I didn't want to wake up. My poor kids...ugh. But thankfully I was referred to Mr. Woodnick, who has taken the leadership role that I needed. I was worried that I was too out of touch with everything to be able to proceed with any kind of case, but Gregg stepped right in and was like a father to me, guiding me in the right direction and helping me make decisions I could have never made on my own. I trust him just like I would have trusted my father and, like my father, he gave me confidence that we were doing the right thing. Gregg was so strategic! Attorney Gottfried is very dedicated and always provides her clients representation to the fullest extent. She is very professional as her staff is as well. She is definitely someone you would want fighting for you, definitely someone you would want in your corner. My children were in an abusive environment and living with their father. I have been fighting in the courts for three years to get them back. I have had numerous Attorneys. Not one of them represented my position the way Attorney Gottfried did. Not one of them fought for the Justice that my children deserved the way Attorney Gottfried did. After Three years of fighting Attorney Gottfried got my children returned to me with having sole legal and physical custody. My children and I can finally have closure. I will be forever grateful for all the time, all the effort, and all the dedication that Attorney Gottfried gave to myself and my children.

Alona is phenomenal. She represented my husband, Damian, recently in a family Court case for my step children and I'm so thankful for the amazing work Alona did. I was inadvertently given Alona, after coming to the agency for another attorney to help with a divorce in 2008. I was not happy about the change and was told she was competent. During the 4 months of litigation and more than $60k on legal fees, my husband at the time managed to throw all kinds of things her way for which she was unable to handle. He sold an airplanes, paid off big business accounts, and hid money for which he had no recompense. She was clearly in over her head. I was writing emails to tell her what to do. I was so overwhelmed without the advocacy that I actually went back to my husband and spend 3 years making a different plan. I then had leverage to get out without being cheated. I was so disappointed with Alona's ability to handle my husband and his lawyer. I would not recommend her for a divorce situation where the husband has tried to hide everything and throws nothing but paperwork at her to cause more and more expense without ever getting anywhere.

Emile Harmon - or his office - lost my contract agreement with his office two or three times after I signed it ... and blamed me. Emile Harmon repeatedly failed to return phone calls after he said to get in touch with him ... and blamed his (personally competent) paraprofessional. Emile Harmon repeatedly told me he had physical therapists for me to go to after my injury but failed to return phone calls asking for their names. Later, he lied and told the AZ bar, where he has been reported for at least the second time, that he never said he had names of physical therapists. Emile Harmon told me that he would be able to get a demand letter for my case sent within three months. Four months later, after numerous unanswered requests to see the demand letter sent to the party being sued, he sent me the letter. It had numerous errors. I asked if we could fix it. He said we could. I asked how we could do that if it had been sent. He said it hadn't yet been sent after all. When I couldn't abide Emile Harmon's lack of professionalism any longer, I asked for my case to be transferred to another lawyer in the firm. Emile Harmon resigned my case saying, in part, that without physical therapy, my case isn't worth that much anyway. When he resigned it, he left me in a position where at least of some my medical bills have not yet been paid from my insurance (since his paraprofessional asked me to send him the release form from my insurance before I signed anything - I have no idea when she sent it out after that) and they are about to be reported to credit bureaus as unpaid. I reported his behavior to the AZ Bar, where he is currently being investigated. Update: I also engaged another attorney who, despite Emile Harmon's predictions, got me a large settlement. This attorney charged me only 29%, as opposed to Emile Harmon's ask of 40%. When I saw here that Emile Harmon had been sanctioned by the AZ Bar once, I should have paid attention and immediately engaged another attorney. This is now a decision I deeply regret.

Emile Harmon first struck me as a "no b.s." kind of man: he told me exactly what hurdles I was up against, the honest likelihood of me getting full custody back, and at first he said he didn't think he could win the case for me and so I should hire someone else! Since when do lawyers say that? He was amazingly straightforward, and we all REALLY respect that. He also likes a challenge though, since he decided to take my case, after really interacting with me during the course of the free consult: he asked tons of relevant questions, reviewed documents I provided, and listened respectfully to my questions and concerns (and those of my mother, who wanted grandparental rights) and then answered them honestly. In the course of that one hour consultation he managed to do what 7 other lawyers before him could not: answer the legal questions we had without misleading us about the difficulty of our case yet not quashing our hopes, assess the state of our case accurately, and even form a basic plan as to how we might win. IN ONE HOUR. Most importantly, he made us all feel comfortable, and we knew we were dealing with a forthright professional who would serve us to the best of his substantial ability. In preparation for the trial, we corresponded mainly with his associate, yet Emile was always available via phone, text, or email to further ensure that the plan stayed relevant and on track, or even just to answer any further concerns we had. He was consummately knowledgeable about the applicable laws and legal procedures. He always made us feel we had made the right decision in hiring him & his associate to represent us, every time we communicated. To be quite frank, he and his team worked their asses off for us, since we had a pretty limited amount of time until the date of the hearing by the time we found him. They were AMAZING. I was literally amazed at watching them work so flawlessly as a team; with such good humor, so quickly, and with total precision, even in the courtroom: right in front of the judge when they had to change direction on an issue mid-hearing. Finally, and against all odds, we did win our case (joint custody is far, far better than a few hours every other Saturday!), and both my mother and I sincerely believe that Emile & his team are solely responsible for that victory. I've run out of the dozen cards he gave me because I've handed them all out to friends, even strangers. I've given his number to a dozen more. I'd hire him again in a second, and intend to do so should I EVER require more family law/custody issues legal help, and if I need help in some other area of the law, Emile is the only man I'll ask for a referral, because I respect his opinion so much.

I called to set up an appt to create an estate, living will, etc after doing much research on attorneys. I loved every profile I read of her and we had in common teaching in South Korea, so I really wanted to work with her! Each time I called, she was unavailable and would call back at random times, usually 5pm-6pm while driving or outside. In our first call, she said she would email me a link to her client portal so I could upload my documents a week prior to our consult. I never got the link or an email. During our first call, she said "I know it's not lawyerly of me to say this but..." and the advice I got was not related to what I needed. I called her firm the next day asking to speak with her to see if she had the correct email, as I needed the link. She called me back later in the day while driving and I gave her my email again. 6 days passed and no email, so I called to cancel our appt. I was transferred to her cell phone and told her that I wanted to cancel but she made an attempt to continue with the consult. She repeated the email that she had and it was wrong. I spelled out the email to her and I could hear wind noise and a child in the background, so I know she was not taking it down. We agreed that she would call me the next evening at 6:30 and that she would send the link I needed for her to look over my documents prior to our consult. Well, again I never got the email or calendar invite that she said she had. I called the same day to cancel and was again transferred to her but there was no answer and she never called me. Very disappointing.

If you want your attorney to defend your ex while you are the one paying her she’s the one to go to. This lady doesn’t listen to you, cuts you off mid sentence, I had to stop breast feeding my 3 months old because she said it wasn’t an excuse for the father not to take a newborn baby overnight. From the beginning she made it clear she didn’t want a middle man when it came to paying her since I found her through Marble. I guess she wanted me to pay her directly. Either way after the court day I haven’t heard anything from her is like she disappeared.

Steve is a hard working attorney. I felt very comfortable with him on my court case. I was in a contract case that the contractor did not follow the contract, blue prints or the model. Steve not being an attorney too long, referred me to another attorney for litigation & that attorney cost me and my wife the case and $88,000.00. Steve is a good attorney, but is still too new to the court system. Good luck Steve………

Stephen was recommended by several people even referring him as a “bulldog,” Unfortunately I did not have that experience. He was very hard to get in contact with and barley returned emails leading me to deal with the receptionist& paralegal the majority of the time. We knew for about 6 months the opposing party was going to file a Modification of Parenting Time and Child Support, and when this happened, Stephen ended up withdrawing From my case leaving little to no time to find a lawyer who would take my case on such short notice. He never even received important documents from the opposing party Which I paid him to help get for court. The invoice included fees such as zoom calls that were never made. He put in forms to the court that I did not approve, which actually helped the opposing party. Basically, when things got tough, he bailed and left me to pick up the pieces. I have never dealt with this sort of situation and would hope no one has to. I thought I paid someone that would fight for myself and my family but instead got someone whom is all talk. He talks a good game and from what I hear does well with divorces but when it comes to parenting time/child custody, he only wanted to negotiate which was not happening with the opposing party and was not willing to do the leg work.

I hired Mr. Girgenti after having three other lawyers in my divorce case. My case was a mess. Mr. Girgenti treated me with the utmost respect. Michael won my case. I was in a tough spot during my divorce having just been diagnosed with a significant disability. Opposing counsel was ruthless and I was so nervous and scared that I was on the verge of signing disadvantageous terms in my family law case. Michael took over from my previous attorney and immediately demonstrated the poise, knowledge, character strength and compassion I needed to confront a situation I felt was impossible. I hired Ms. Wellborn in 2011 to handle my divorce. She, and her team were professional and prompt. They worked with great skill and competence every step of the way. as a defence attorny she is in the top percentage in quality for lake havasu though like all the others want to take plea a little to quickly when it come to court and hearings she on her game and with more cases will get better I would watch her to grow into a top attorny. in my opion if she becomes more aggressive towards the other attorny she will be unstopable.she in my mind won my case and going into it felt I was to lose for sure.Thank You!

I had a clear cut car accident lawsuit and these clowns represented me. When is all said and done. Nate Hogle was terrible at communication With his client.. They didn’t even fight for me against the other driver’s attorneys. All they wanted to do was settle for any amount. Which was very low. and then they took more than half the money that we did get in a settlement. Which they took more than half. they had told me they would only take 33% . Stay away. Warning.

Absolutely did nothing to make my husband case stronger but lose it. Not even helping him gather evidence. We wasted the last money in our pocket. I wish we could have gone into a Public assistance lawyer might worth accepting the results. Now our entire family ,my lil kids will suffer from it as we have to result selling my property and rely on food banks because nothing will be left for us as you deemed my husband responsible being just a “ Donor” to an IVF. Justice never exist to a State paid lawyer. I wish you have a guilt left in yourselves.

I would give 100 stars if I could. After spending one year in a very complicated divorce, I realized I needed someone new and I was recommended to Lyndsey and Paradise Family Law. I had a great experience with Attorneys Lindsey and Ginger at Paradise Valley Family Law. Ginger was especially helpful in preparing all the necessary documents for my court filing. She has excellent communication skills and was always attentive to my questions. Whenever I called regarding my case, she was willing to assist me in any way possible. I would recommend Paradise Valley Family Law to anyone going through a divorce, but it would be helpful if they had a payment plan system.
