I had a very pleasant conversation with Bill. I called him from Seattle to discuss re-opening my visitation case with my daughter who lives in San Diego. Dustin Krogh has been my lawyer since my divorce and most recently into a difficult child custody case with a move away. I really couldn’t be happier with him and his firm! He was always responsive and timely. I feel like I need to say this next part because I’m not a fan of having to do anything inside a courtroom or with Lawyers in general but he actually cared about me. Not just the case and the face value of the challenges it brought, but me. He handled everything cleanly, gave phenomenal advice and helped me through some very tight and tough times. For perspective I’m a Dad in the state of California fighting custody of 2 kids and moving with them out of state. Through the whole process he kept me grounded, set my expectations accurately, and maintained a professional decorum that I appreciate and admire! If I could give 10 stars I would.

In the past I've had a few less than perfect family law experiences. In my mind, James Casey reset those standards and set the bar high. I had called multiple lawyers initially most of which seemed annoyed of the time I was taking and the questions I was asking. James was quick, efficient and personable. He guided me through a mostly unfamiliar process with ease. Cost and payment was fair and flexible. Results of the case were exactly what we expected. I would recommend James to anyone.

I would highly recommend Mr. Casey he is a very professional and honest attorney. It really shows that he cares about the outcome of each and every persons case. What can I say, but Roxas Law is AMAZING! At first, the thought of going to court seemed so daunting. I had very little time with my daughter as the original court order was placed when my daughter was 3 months old. My ex moved to a different city, with no notice, and wanted to change the whole visitation pickup and hours. Therefore, I knew I had to go to court to have a new visitation schedule in place. I visited several law firms and once I went and sat down with Sandy, I knew Roxas Law was the one. She laid out all of the possibilities starting with a reasonable less costly, mentally and monetarily, approach of simply talking to one another with legal assistance, to mediation, to going to court. I knew she that could handle my extremely difficult ex and handle my particular situation with ease and professionalism. I had not been granted access to my daughter since December 27, 2019. I started the court process in Mid January and the firm was so helpful and explained the whole process thoroughly. During this time, my ex avoided all of the phone calls from Troy and Sandy and made it extremely difficult to even serve her. Throughout this time, their professionalism never wavered and they kept me calm, as it was stressful to think that I would never get to see my daughter as my ex did everything in her power to avoid contact. After several attempts of trying to contact her, she was finally served and we had a court date set for March 20, 2020. However, everything came to a screeching halt on March 19, 2020 when Los Angeles was officially shut down due to COVID. Another disappointment, more stress, and more waiting without seeing my daughter and knowing if she was ok or not. But, leave it to Sandy and Troy to come to the rescue! They had to inform my ex that the court date would be rescheduled due to COVID and it was unknown as to when that date would be. They reached out to my ex and asked her if the old visitation schedule could resume as it was not known when we would go to court. She refused citing COVID concerns. However, since we had a TON of evidence against her and how she interfered with my parenting time, refused to give me access to see my daughter, and many other things, her refusal would be one more piece of evidence against her. Once she was told, she quickly changed her mind and allowed my previous visitation schedule with my daughter. We had another court date schedule for May and it was also pushed back. Throughout this time, Troy always reached out to ensure that everything was going as smooth as possible until we could go to court. If I had any issues with my ex, he was quick to handle it. We then had a court date on July 13, 2020. The big day finally arrived! Of course, I was terrified. Troy was very professional and eased my nerves and always explained what was coming up and let me know the possible outcomes. The judge granted me everything I wanted and more with the exception of full legal custody. It was a huge victory!!! I could not have done it without their help! Bottom line, you get what you pay for. The rates are beyond reasonable for the help, experience, and professionalism you get. The entire experience can seem daunting and scary and just beyond hope. But, I can tell you that it is not! Do not hesitate to contact Roxas Law for anything you need as you will not regret it. Greg McMurray was a great find! A lawyer with impeccable credentials, known and respected by local lawyers and judges, with an approachable communication style that puts the client at ease while still conveying all the important information, extremely knowledgeable about the law, and experienced in how best to advocate for his clients. I wish I had found him sooner! He is worth every penny (saved me lots of money in the end). I would have used him in my family law case if I had known about him earlier. Greg defended me in a criminal case that resulted in all charges being dropped and my record left clear. It was a result that I deserved, but didn't believe I would receive. Mr. McMurray was my lawyer back in December of 2010 when I was arrested by the SB County Sheriff's department. I won't go into details, but I was in serious trouble and looking at some time behind bars. In short I began to turn my life around I got myself into some local programs to deal with my personal problems. Taking Mr. McMurray's advice I worked hard to improve my situation. Mr. McMurray was truthful and helpful through the entire process, including giving me a payment plan option which helped a lot. Because legal trouble can be expensive outside of hiring a lawyer. He went to bat for me with the DA and the Judge because I fulfilled my promise to keep myself on track. I ended up avoiding jail time all together and I haven't looked back since. Alcohol was a part of my story and I've been sober ever since in part due to Mr. McMurray and his work on my behalf. Simply put he was my advocate and he helped me present my case as someone who needed help, got it and then as someone who needed a chance to make good and I can happily say he got me a second chance.

The statue of Iustitia at the front office Brandon’s office is not there just for decor. I was in the worst predicament of my life—feeling hopeless, lost, angry, tired, anxious and wishing I never said the words “I do”—when I first laid eyes on this sculpture as I waited for my consult appointment with Brandon. I had to change from a previous attorney due to many issues that complicated my divorce. Doubtful but persistent with my search of a good counsel against my ex-husband’s, I slowly gained confidence after my first meeting with Brandon. That day, Brandon’s team met me with empathy and compassion. His paralegals Ashley and Keith, and associate attorney Brittany, were all superb. All their communication with me were full of care touching on sensitive subjects related to the case which they handled with utmost grace and professionalism. I was referred to Brandon after leaving my old attorney due to lack of progress and spending lots of money…..with minimal results. Not only that, I was done feeling like I was the “back burner” client. When I went to Brandon, I had about 10 percent visitation with my son, a crappy agreement with my ex-wife (completely favoring the mother) and very little money left to retain another attorney. Brandon and his team took me in, saw my love for my son, gave me an affordable service, and put together a great case. I also felt a huge difference with them as far as client/attorney relationship. They fought hard for me and helped me gain 50% custody of my son. As well as help resolve numerous issues I had with my ex-wife. One of the best days of my life was the day I was granted equal custody of my little boy. It could not have been done without Brandon and his skilled team. They were diligent and compassionate and we were totally successful in and out of the courtroom. My son is almost four years old now and unfortunately court has been necessary in order for him to be in my life. When a mother goes out of her way to prevent the bonding of a father and his son, you need support and you need professionals. I plan to keep the Sua team on my side for many years to come. I came to Elliot for a consultation to handle my 10 year old felony case. I hadn't completed the terms of my probation, none of it, and I was ready to turn myself in. As it turned out not only was my felony probation violation open, but also a slew of smaller warrants for traffic violations. I consulted with a few different attorneys who were all really great but I decided to go with Elliot and I am very glad that I did. First he met me on a Saturday which was very convenient. He genuinely seemed to care about helping me. He was honest and upfront, didn't make any promises to give me false hope. Which I appreciated as I knew how serious the consequences were going to be. Leading up to court there were many times that I had questions about our strategy and Elliot was always available to reply via email, and take my calls. It felt like I was his only client. In front of the judge where it matter the most, Elliot really came through. When my character came into question, he argued fiercely on my behalf. That's when I was 100% sure that I had made the right choice. In the end I received my best possible outcome, and I have Elliot to thank for that. Out of 4 cases (1 Felony and 3 Misdemeanors) that he handled for me I received positive outcomes in each. I'm extremely fortunate. Brian Myers represented me in a divorce case that was extraordinarily contentious and difficult. Not only did Brian have to confront an opposing party that was unwilling to compromise on any matter great or small, but he also had to cope with my peculiar circumstances--when I first retained him I was living and working in Southeast Asia--and with the chaos and uncertainty that the pandemic brought to legal processes and the court. I am forever in his debt for his exceptional perseverance in surmounting these many challenges, for his stout advocacy, good judgment, his compassion, and for the deployment of his extraordinary legal capabilities on my behalf. Brian is among the most impressive people I have met in any field. Compassionate and non-judgmental, with an abundance of optimism and an unflappable disposition, Brian always responded quickly and trenchantly to the many emails I sent him. During these dark days that, as days do, accumulated to years, I had a tendency to write long, sprawling messages, only portions of which were legally relevant. Had Brian responded in full to every facet of these emails, I would have quickly been bankrupted. Instead, with an unerring capacity to separate the tangential from the essential, Brian unfailingly got to the legal heart of my messages, keeping us on task and saving me thousands of dollars. Brian Myers is the best attorney anyone can hire in Santa Cruz County. He has been my attorney for six years. This man knows the law and will fight for you with honesty and integrity. That may not be important to everyone, but it was, and still is, important to me. There is a reason why he is the Santa Cruz County Family Law Bar Association President. They chose well. I met with Brian for a consultation 3 months before filing for divorce. I explained my dire circumstances and he listened. He didn't set a timer or watch the clock (like the others) and went well over the allotted time. Unlike some of the bottom feeders I met with, he showed compassion and I sensed this was a man who took his code of ethics seriously, which is very hard to come by with divorce attorneys. Let's face it, there's a special place in Hell for most of them. I told him I wasn't looking to hurt my soon-to-be ex-husband and he was okay with that. I thanked him for his time and left his office to consider what I would do. Three months later, I knew I had no choice but to file for divorce. I called and asked to speak with him. He was surprised I was calling him at that time; not because he thought it would work it out, but because it took me 3 more months before I finally walked away from an impossible situation. His compassion was palpable. He asked for a very reasonable retainer and had my divorce filed and served within a week. There wasn't one hiccup. My case inevitably became horribly ugly a few months later when an emergency custody request was necessary. He took care of everything and it was seamless. I then needed a Domestic Violence Restraining Order, which he secured for me for three years and then renewed for another five. I endured years of a custody/visitation battle with drug & alcohol testing, multiple reunification therapists, a move to a different county, etc. He's done it all for me. The bottom line: My kids are safe and I have Brian to thank for that. The one thing that was (and still is) most important to me while fighting this fight is this: I want to be able to come out of this someday with my head held high. I want my kids to know, someday when they're old enough, that I did everything right. I never lied. I never stooped to the lows the other side did. That's important to me. Kids figure out on their own at some point what's going on, so don't play dirty. That's my first bit of advice to anyone reading this. My second bit of advice is this: Hire Brian. He will be there for you every step of the way. He'll get the job done and he'll do it right. If you want an attorney who will represent you effectively, ethically and efficiently, Brian Myers is your guy.

Words cannot express the gratitude, the heartfelt obligation she provided for me during my fight for justice. She is the best. I was wrongly accused of a violation of the law that I did not commit. I was able to rely on her judgements, her sincerity and her efforts to fight. She reassured me my fight was her fight, and even helped me breathe though when I felt like I was an emotional wreck. What matters the most in the event when I lost one of my twin baby’s to death she made sure she made appearances and decision that benefited me. I certainly could have waited to write this review until the lawsuit I'm involved in has wrapped up (I'm a defendant). Hopefully that will be in the next couple of months. But I feel compelled to say something at this point because I want to acknowledge that the way Attorney Moss handles things, the way his mind works, and the way things are explained to me, has helped keep my stress level down, and has greatly abated the angst I feel as my court date approaches, three years into a law suit that I should never have been included in. My divorce was fairly straightforward, we were not fighting over anything and Robert guided me with information I needed in order to make the best decisions for my children and myself. 6 Year Divorce War… I could only afford Mr. Freed for a couple of years. He would probably kill me for saying this… He continued to support me when I had a questions for the following 3 years while I went to trial. I won! I would not have won without his help. Over the course of the last 6 years The attorneys I have opposed have been some of the most vial human beings. He would have taken them all. The best part is that he’s got tremendous heart. He wins with the heart of a lion instead of the trickery of a jackal. Although I’m sure if needed, he could muster up plenty of the latter as well.

This attorney did everything possible to avoid protracted litigation, but when it was not possible, he was able to achieve extremely favorable results for me on all disputed issue. I am extremely grateful and impressed with this Firm and will recommend Mr. Freed to colleagues, friends and family members in need of a tiger who can walk each client safely thru the jungle of family court proceedings. My case could have easily ended with disastrous results regarding child custody (involving our special needs infant); business valuation, income assessment, alleged breach of fiduciary duties, attorney fees and sanction requests, child and spousal support, against the backdrop of exhaustive discovery demands. Even before the divorce case began, there were restraining orders filed by both sides on the same day. Before hiring Mr. Freed, my family was denied access to my son, and I was not allowed to have him overnight or bring him to my home. Richard G. Freed was my divorce lawyer in 2010. He did a great job and I couldn't have been more satisfied with his work!! Richard was calm, well prepared and a gentleman in the office. His legal skills are cutting edge and his demeanor is confident but not arrogant. He cut through the red tape in court like a surgeon. I always felt like he was looking after my best interests. The case ended and I said thank you. Seven years later it became necessary for me to hire Richard again. My ex had not removed my name from our house loan or paid his half of our bills. Richard filed paperwork to enforce the Judgment but never had to argue the case in court because he was able to negotiate with my ex who agreed to sign an Agreement in Richard's office. Despite the divorce I get along with my ex and did not want to fight him in court. Our family were all watching and they worried about us. I never wanted any problems with my ex but was willing to go to court if necessary. I was grateful and relieved the case was settled and I would not hesitate to hire Richard in the future if the need arises.

Brian Burns is quite possibly the best attorney on the planet. I have had numerous tickets across LA and OC for every violation under the sun, including multiple misdemeanors incl. arrests, many many front plate/exhaust fix-it tickets (thanks Irvine PD), a state-ref, unsafe lane change, carpool lane, and a bunch of speeding tickets. Brian Burns has never failed to dismiss even a single one. There is not a single point on my driving record. Even the state-ref, which I had a failure to appear for, he showed up for me and proved to the judge that I had corrected the violations and they waived all fees including the fail to appear fee. In all cases, he either fought for me vigilantly with the courts on top of knowing the right people for everything. He has given me super helpful advice as well on stopping myself from getting any more state-ref and exhaust tickets. Brian Burns is single handedly the reason that I can still be a car enthusiast in this lovely state. I recommend him to everyone I know because he's simply the best, and worth it.

Brian is an incredibly effective yet compassionate lawyer. He truly cares for his clients and goes above and beyond to help.
