Mr. Neavitt was an excellent choice for my custody case matter. I had previously worked with Jarvis, Kreager and Sullivan, a supposedly "big name" in the local Family Law scene, but everything about Mr. Neavitt and his staff was an improvement over that much larger firm. Mr. Neavitt's staff prepared my court filings and did an excellent job from the beginning, and they took the time to get to know my case so that they could effectively communicate my arguments. This was a big deal for me, because the staff at Jarvis did a terrible job, and my wife and I were eventually forced to prepare all of the documents ourselves. On the day of the actual court appearance, Mr. Neavitt was clearly in charge. He seemed to give off an air of competency and control that was felt by everyone, including and especially opposing counsel. I would recommend his office highly to anyone looking to settle a Family Law case.

Mr. Neavitt was my attorney on a complex domestic violence and child custody dispute, and support matter. My complex custody issues included substance abuse, domestic violence and mental illness, all of which Mr. Neavitt skillfully reported to the court over vigorous opposition. I was granted domestic violence temporary restraining orders. The support issues were complex because my husband (self-employed) has refused to produce discovery and any financial information. Mr. Neavitt was able to focus the court's attention directly on these matters, despite the smoke & mirrors & misdirection of my husband and his legal counsel. The result of the hearing was 100% in my favor. Mr. Neavitt's skill, knowledge and Family Law expertise have been well worth the money that I have paid him thus far, and the $25K attorney fee award which he was able to obtain for me yesterday will go a long way toward continuing my legal representation and obtaining a fair distribution of our assets. I am a single mom, on a limited income, and Mr. Neavitt really fought for me. P.S. Mr. Neavitt's staff is fabulous to work with, especially Julie, Claudia and Sue!!

John represented my relative's side in a divorce. He was direct, clear in his thinking and strategy, and also available to answer any questions we had quickly. Unfortunately in most divorce scenarios, while settling may be the best outcome, sometimes things have to go to court - John presented a clear strategy for each path and we felt comfortable should we have to move forward in either situation. Some months now after finalizing my divorce I truly realize the expert care I was in with Ms. Baltazar. After interviewing a number of lawyers at the onset, I selected Ms. Baltazar for her professionalism, depth of legal knowledge, and caring manner. I felt then that she had the combination of attributes that would get me through this difficult time. Throughout she was persistent in representing my interest, clearly explaining current and prospective actions needed to arrive at the best outcome for me. She was always careful to fully explain what the law said on key matters and how it was interpreted by the courts. Ms. Baltazar had the ability to take jumbled information, as I'm sure I sometimes babbled on, picking out the salient points and repeating key information back to ensure she had a firm grasp of my responses. She also had the ability and patience to simplify and present legalese in an easy to understand manner so that i could fully consider it. I was involved in a spousal support issue/tax matter with my ex-wife. Ms. Baltazar not only provided excellent advise in the spousal support area, but actually found a case ruling in the tax matter which defended my position and which had been overlooked by my ex wife's attorneys. (And tax law is not even her primary area of practice.) This allowed us to arrange for an out of court settlement that was much to my advantage. Because of her gracious and professional manner she was very pleasant to work with.

Dealing with legal stuff can really tie you up in knots, but Simon Law made the process bearable. Had to sort out some paperwork that felt like it was written in ancient Greek to me. My case had multiple facets to it, but I was most interested in getting the finance aspects of my divorce taken care of by dividing the finances appropriately, rather than fighting and the courts getting all the money. Nicole took my case and was able to professionally and promptly execute each action item while clearly explaining it to me throughout the entire process. Traci is professional. She stood by me and worked with an opponent who did not play by the rules. My ex lied and hid our assets and started cashing out our retirement almost before I even hired Traci. My daughter lives with me who is handicapped and I with serious health issues,’he tried to leave us with almost nothing!! Believe me he quit his job and threatened to move to Mexico. Year or so later my daughter and I are safe. He had to pay me 2 years in advance alimony for him to get a job. I may need to hire Traci again if he has or finds another lame excuse to his fiduciary responsibilities. Was with my ex for almost 40 years. This review is about five years overdue but Marlene deserves the credit. When my (then) husband unexpectedly asked for a divorce, he took everything out of our shared account and hired a lawyer instead of going through the military. Marlene worked with me on fees for what I could afford and did an amazing job representing me! She was incredibly thorough and kept up with fighting accusations from the other lawyer with proof they were false. The divorce ended in my favor without having to meet with my husband or go to court. I highly recommend Marlene Keen.

My ex-wife is a lawyer who filed a default. Trying to remove custody from me and leave me penniless in a divorce. Sandhya helped me by Filing a request to deny default. She instructed me what to say when I was in court. My wife showed up to court with an attorney by her side.
Not only did I get the default denied, I was awarded attorneys fees. Temporary joint custody, plus an increase in spousal support.

Dana Urick was my divorce attorney for six years. I know that this is an unusually long time, but that is what happens with a complicated divorce. Dana was wonderful to work with. She was caring, smart, dedicated, and honest. She was also very articulate and driven to get a divorce agreement that would suit my children and me. At the time of my separation, I was a stay at home mom and had stopped working for seven years. Dana encouraged me to go back to school and get a master's degree, which I am grateful for. Dana is very approachable and easy to talk with, yet she is fierce in the court room. She was actually the second lawyer that I hired to work on my case, after the first lawyer cost me a lot of money and did not help much. I helped my boss and boss's wife get through a criminal charge against her. I didn't know where to turn to, but when I searched for an attorney in Fullerton, Attorney Erika Becker showed up and several others. I contacted all of them, and she was the first to return my call within a day and realized she has a many years of law experience. When I met her, she explained details about what can happen to what she can do for us. Although, what she advised us wasn't the best outcome that we were hoping for, when the final outcome came out, she made it even better than what we had hoped for. There was a misdemeanor charge, 2 years of probation, 1 year of schooling...the charge was downgraded to infraction, no probation and no schooling! How awesome is that! We were excited and so glad that we hired her to represent us. My world was turned upside down, after a silly mistake at the age of 23 landed me straight in Santa Ana County Jail facing up to 6 years. Sean is honest, kind and proactive – he lifted such a huge weight and worry off my shoulders. I felt backed into a corner, trying to defend my daughter and I by getting a restraining order on my own. I was naïve to the court process and thought I could do it on my own. He jumped in right away and helped me to see the situation differently to release the upset and worry. He worked with the other side to put out the fire rather than inflame it to run up his own fees. Sean’s integrity shines and I have to say…. I was prepared to write a good review for Sean Patrick because I could sense from the get-go that he is refreshingly honest and well intentioned but I was not prepared to write such a phenomenal review. I was truly blown away by his performance in the courtroom. Sean was retained very late in the game and a continuance was unfortunately denied but he did not appear to be any less prepared than he would have been otherwise. He was also not up against just one attorney but two on the other side, one of whom I understand has a 60 page resume and is "the best of the best" in what he does. Despite such impressive and intimidating representation from the other party, Sean held a perfectly calm assertiveness and nailed every point on its head to an extent that I honestly just did not expect. The other two attornies together probably cost 3 times what Sean cost yet I did not at any time feel that reflected in the trial. Quite the contrary, actually. I share this as a token to Sean for his great work but more importantly because I feel that people need to know who they can trust in the game of retaining attornies. Sean really is one of the "good guys, " which is unfortunately more few and far between than I would like to believe. If you didn't know this already, know it now: it is so incredibly important to walk into any attorney-client relationship with eyes wide open because (let's be honest) there is just so much senseless corruption and dishonesty that tends to be involved. After having been through the whole process with him I can genuinely say that Sean can be trusted. There were opportunities to where he could have taken advantage of the situation and claimed that he was owed more money than he was or created more unnecessary work for himself but he did not. It is refreshing to know that attornies like Sean exist. He is a great choice and absolutely first recommendation on my list.

At the beginning of my legal situation, I was representing myself and went between feeling unsure to fairly confident. This was up until the time when my husband hired a lawyer.

I met janette Do not Brody do a friend that referred me to her. I'll call you when the alarm rings started working on it immediately. It was a child's support case and started working on it. She got things done with dinner appropriate time and I was able to pay the child support case and lore the amount that they wanted. I was very happy with her.

I am currently going through the hardest time in my life, I never thought that I would be facing the uphill battles I currently am and I never thought that someone I hardly knew could care so much about not only helping me in the courtroom but also in my personal life. Jeanette defines compassion and strives to achieve a certain set of results within her clients cases. She is truly someone that I thank God for putting in my life and I don’t put that lightly. I read a review once for an attorney that said something really corny like “if he grew a beard I would call him Jesus Christ!”, well let me say, I met that attorney that person wrote the review about and I would sooner call him Satan.
