I retained Shannon to help me finalize a divorce and had a great experience working with her. Her advice was easy to understand and thoughtful. She was always prompt to respond to emails and I would certainly recommend her to others. After a brief intro call, we worked entirely through email which was fine with the circumstances I dealt with. I also communicated my interest on operating with a lighter budget, to which she was accommodative (i.e. more email exchanges vs phone calls).

Mike helped my wife and I prepare our living trust. He was patient with us while we dealt with everything one deals with while making the decisions you have to make throughout this process. He was able to provide advice based on past experiences and he made the process simple for us. Any and all info we needed, any paperwork he required from us, was all explained and made easy to provide. It was a painless process is the best way to describe it. He was ready for us for all appointments and we did not have to wait as you do when you visit a Dr. these days!

I used Mike Amthor as my divorce attorney. Going through a divorce was the single worst thing I have experienced. Mike and his staff never let me down. He fought hard for my case and my daughter. His staff kept me focused in a time when I couldn't focus at all. This firm has an amazing balance with their clients. I have used Mike Amthor twice for divorce and custody work. This guy has great Christian values and morals. No matter what happened in my case, he always had my boys' best interest in mind. He never gave up! He fought hard for my rights as a father. I continue to work hard today to be a great father because he gave me hope and courage. It was a tough situation not only did I lose a partner I was also pregnant during my divorce. Mr. Gold was not just an attorney focused on proceedings/agreements, he did so with integrity and empathy, always taking into account who I was as a person and keeping my character intact in all decision-making. It's a very vulnerable and difficult time for me, and easy to lose sight of what is important. It's during these difficult times that character is often tested in many ways - Mr Gold always presented pros and cons of any decision that was ahead, how we wanted to shape it and what was best for me and my unborn child. It was the best decision looking back now. I had my son and moved from Los Angeles to the UK and now working in Singapore. I have covered 3 regions in my career progression and part of what made this possible is the fact that my ex husband showed minimal engagement in the early years of our son's life. When it comes to family law attorneys there are many choices out there. I wouldn't trust anyone to handle my personal affairs other than Elizabeth Johnson. She helped me with a family matter and it couldn't have resulted in a better outcome. I am very thankful to her and her partner, Andrew Klausner, for that. Her professionalism and knowledge are second to none (unfortunately I've worked with several family law attorneys). Not to mention, she is an attorney you can place your trust in as she is just a great person overall. That comes across from the moment that you meet her. I would have no reservations having Elizabeth represent me again or referring her to someone that needs her services. She truly puts her client's best interests first.

Going through a divorce was probably one of my life's most liberating moment. It was a difficult transition, but to be able to have the courage to finally do something you know you should have done for a long time. I knew the minute I met Andrew and Elizabeth that it was a match. Andrew was so stern, persuasive, and quick on his feet and Elizabeth is so precise, relatable and attention to detail. They both were very matter of fact, problem solvers, and total geniuses with numbers. After our first initial consultation, I told them what was going on with my husband at the time's on going affairs and abuse. Without judgement, they sat and listened and gave me comfort in examples of what kind of cases they have scene and how mine was not the worse. I didn't have any children, I was still at a pretty young age, and they asked me: "Do you want to leave him?" and I said yes! Just that first decision was a shift in stepping into my own and choosing happiness over obligation. They were able to file for a divorce and served him the subpoena the day he got back from his "business trip" They were always on top of everything and when we first started off I was making rookie mistakes like forwarding every threatening email my ex would write me which they could have easily billed me for but they made sure to get me on the phone to advise me how to consolidate and print the emails so I can save some money. The whole team here are so helpful. If I had a question, I would get a response almost right away, or if they were in court at least a couple hours after. If emails were too long to write out, I would get a phone call so that everything is clear and we know exactly what the action plan is as to next steps. I always felt I was taken care of and that they were on my side and behind me, fighting for what I deserve. During the last step of mediation, and we sat across from my ex and his lawyer. I could not have been more confident and ready. Every attempt my ex brought up to try to take from me such as my luxury handbags, jewelry, 401k, engagement ring, down payment of our houses, somehow Andrew would find something to rebuttal, and reason him out of it. Through the whole process, they were thorough, strategic and got me out with more than I could ask for. I am finally a new woman, without a cheating husband and have my own house, car and bank account full of savings I can fall back on singing "You don't own me, I'm not just one of your many toys...". I am now officially divorced, the final paperwork was filed with the court and the minute that happened and I got the email from Andrew and Elizabeth I literally felt 100% exonerated. I know I wouldn't have been able to do it on my own. All that paperwork, my ex and his many masks, scheming, harassing, manipulating... paying the lawyers to do all the work and not having to deal with being in contact with my ex was worth every penny. It's been 8 months since I filed for divorce, I have seen couples that are still trying to get their spouse to sign 2 years after filing for divorce. I am so relieved it only took us 8 months. Now that it's all over, I can move on to the next chapter of my life. Thank you Andrew, Elizabeth, Robin and the entire team for being so efficient and supportive during this process. I highly recommend anyone looking for representation to hire Andrew and Elizabeth. You will not regret it!

Being a mother in a dangerous relationship/living situation was my worst nightmare -- it became my reality as a 21 year old. I was terrified to take legal action against my daughters father, and after speaking with Ms. Johnson (And Mr. Klausner -- @Klausner Johnson LLP) I felt a sense of relief. Elizabeth is direct, compassionate and determined. Her personality was comforting in this horrible time of my life. She took detailed notes whenever I spoke, prepared my papers carefully and made sure I was up to date with each step of the process. I walked away with a Domestic Violence Restraining Order, full legal and physical custody of my daughter and most importantly, I had peace of mind knowing my daughter and I were safe.

I can’t possibly say enough about Navid. He indeed has the perfect amount of pressure and gentleness that is needed to navigate very challenging situations. He’s been doing this for decades and has a natural ability to gauge what may transpire and what to do to overcome it. He has an incredible presence… which as a female in this situation, made me feel safe. Navid truly has “your back” in all ways and you want him on your team. I couldn’t have done this without him. I knew my opposing party was not going to fight clean and because of Navid, it was still ok. I googled pro-Bono attorneys, since I’m a full time single mom right now and up against a wealthy abusive ex. Even though it turned out Navid doesn’t work pro bono, he still generously and patiently answered all of my questions. He calmed me down and even though he had a trial the next day he generously gave me an hour of his time, which I’m very grateful for! He is professional and knowledgeable. But most importantly compassionate and caring. Though we all need to make a living he isn’t driven by $$$ only, but rather by being of help to parents in difficult situations.

I've used Mello & Pickering since 2021 and have never regretted it. They are an excellent firm with class, expertise, and care. I've had the honor of having Jessica Pellerin represent me over the last two years, she is an impeccable attorney. She is incredibly thorough, researched, patient, forward thinking, prepared, empathetic, and always always centers the child's best interest. She'll fight for you while never ever losing sight of the child and has great insight into what a judge is likely to do. She has represented me from issues ranging from a move-away case, school placement, and holiday schedules. As a gay mother who remarried a woman, I was concerned about how homophobia from my ex-husband might play out at our hearing but she handled the topic with so much care and of course, expertise on the law. I would recommend her to anyone, especially those that have complex cases. I would recommend this firm over and over.

Jessica was the calm, smart, and knowlegable friend who protected me and my son when I was scrared, depressed, and angry at end of my relationship with his mother. My son's mother threatened that our son would live with her, and I would only be allowed to see him when she saw fit. I was devastated and demoralized at the idea of not being able to see my son. I was a shambles when I sat down for my first appointment with Jessica. I'd never worked with a lawyer before: was it going to be all business, or could I share my fears, grief? Jessica made space for me to reveal to her the wreck that I was. It was vital to me to show her how important my son was to me, how scared I was by the threats our son's mother had made. She let me know she'd dealt with other fathers as scared as I was, that she understood the fear the legal system can inspire when a parent is already in fight-or-flight mode because of the end of a relationship. Then she walked me step-by-step through how the process goes, never impatient at having to re-explain the details to me. It was also important to me that I remain a “good guy”. I didn't want to do any character assasination to my son's mother, I didn't want to be adversarial in court. Jessica agreed with me, and together we crafted all communications with the opposing counsel, and the court. We won, but even if I hadn't I wouldn't regret having hired Jessica. After my experience with her, I don't believe there is anyone who could have done a better job.

Darrell Griffin is a great lawyer. He is one of the rarest you'll find. I had a very complicated case and I have spent thousands of dollars on criminal defense attorney's before I found Mr. Griffin. He took my case and got it dismissed within 1 week which other lawyers couldn't do in months. I am very thankful to him for what he did for me.

I recently went through an otherwise very stressful divorce and court trial. I am a practicing physician and my ex a housewife for 17 years. I have three children. I was at a distinctly disadvantageous position to begin with. My divorce lasted for 2 years from the time of filling. My ex and her boyfriend hired 2 teams of very aggressive attorneys from Southern California and San Francisco making the case very complicated, over litigated and stressful. I felt I was helpless until I met Yvonne Seeley and her team of associates and assistants. Ms. Seeley's counsel in my marriage dissolution was invaluable. She helped me understand the dissolution case process, and helped me to manage my own expectations with respect to timing of case events. She's the consummate attorney in the sense that she's the strongest advocate for her clients. In family law cases where things can get muddied by a bit of emotion, she keeps things real and in perspective. As a paralegal, I was able to prepare the bulk of paperwork myself, but without Ms. Seeley's keen eye to some details, and recommendations as to alternatives -- in specific related to division of property and spousal support, the case might still be pending judgment. I was pleased to receive the desired outcome with the court in a reasonable amount of time. The courts might be a bit slow, but the team at Seeley & Madigan couldn't have been more responsive. Questions answered right away, and proposed solutions offered quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Helen Yvonne Seeley and the team at Seeley & Madigan. If ever I need family law counsel again, Ms. Seeley would be the first attorney i'd contact.

When searching for an attorney to handle a personal and emotional matter, the need to find someone who is professional, knowledgeable and compassionate can be a difficult task. I found all of these characteristics and more in choosing and hiring Aimee Ashby Flanagan to handle my dissolution of marriage. During our initial phone call, Aimee and I discussed the particulars of my marriage and as uncomfortable as it was for me to approach the conversation, Aimee's calm and comforting demeanor quickly settled my unsure nerves. Upon our first face to face meeting (during the Covid -19 pandemic), Aimee politely answered each of my many questions, took ample time discussing the divorce process and welcomed my feedback. Marc helped me out with a traffic ticket that I got a few years back. I don't live in California and I needed Marc to appear in court for me. He informed me that there would be additional fees added to the initial fine for the ticket. In the end, he got the fine reduced which I was hoping he could do. We communicated by email and he replied promptly. He was a great help and seemed to really do anything he could to keep things fair between his client and the court.

Last year my business partner and I purchased some equipment from an out of state vendor to expand our services. The equipment turned out to be faulty. We had no clue how to seek a proper refund or what course of legal action deemed necessary. We hired Mr. Singh to help us with our demand letters and what route to take legally. His legal mind and swift assistance in our case was not only helpful but rewarded us a full refund for the equipment plus damages. My husband and I needed a will and a trust before we left on a vacation to Africa. We really did not give Summer a lot of time to do this. She had it finished and ready to sign in record time. My wife left me unilaterally and unexpectedly, and took our 2 year old son with her. She also retained an attorney in San Diego, who supposedly has raving reviews, and filed a Domestic Violence Restraining Order against me. I had to act quickly and entered my name into a link on the internet while looking for attorney's to defend myself, and voila, I received a call from Ross Veta. I was skeptical at first, but after an initial consultation, it was clear he was the right person for the task at hand due to his ‘calming effect’ on the situation I was facing. Ross and I worked together like a team, which is what people really need to do if they intend on prevailing in their case. My estranged wife’s declaration was not only full of lies, distortions, and half-truths, but errors, including the wrong date we were married, with many other absurd allegations. I don’t know if these errors were hers, from her attorney, or his staff, but her declaration was poorly written, and her attorney should have ensured that these absurd allegations were not part of her declaration; they clearly made her out to be foolish and petty. Ross took full advantage of the opposing party’s errors, omissions, and lies, yet focused on those things that truly mattered to the judge in our case, someone he is familiar with here in North County. Divorce is a very emotional experience, and it has been for me since my estranged wife tried to drag me through the mud. Yet Ross Veta saw right through all the smoke and mirrors, and came up with a game plan to deal with each allegation. Needless to say, I wasn’t as impressed my estranged wife’s attorney nearly as much as I was with Ross Veta. Ross has a demeanor that can’t be matched; he’s focused, but is also a very likable person, something that’s rare in the legal profession. The outcome? I won the case and the Domestic Violence case was dropped, even before Ross had the opportunity to cross-examine my estranged wife. And I even have joint custody, and almost 50% visitation of my 2 year old son. Thanks for everything Ross.

Kyle was exceptional and making himself available in very short notice despite his busy schedule. This review is long overdue, i meant to write it immediately after his help, but life got in the way, and i didn't the chance until now, over 4 months later. I met with Mr. Falzone last week for a consultation at his Alameda office, which was most convenient for me. After our meeting I have no reservations about referring his family law practice to other locals. He was very welcoming, I'd almost say soothing in a way, as I felt a lot better leaving than I did going in. He was able to answer all of my questions clearly without making me feel dumb for asking, and let me take more of his time than I expected. I'm not ready to hire him on retainer yet, but when the time comes, he's the guy I'll call.

I saw Mr. Falzone for help with a long-term child support issue. My child support has been in arrears for more than four years. I was concerned about my children and my relationship with my ex-husband. He helped resolve the situation and helped me get the child support arrears from my ex. This allowed me to assist my daughters with their college expenses. At every step, he explained my options and kept me informed. I was able to resolve this issue with a minimum of expense and his counsel helped to keep communication with my ex civil and direct. Until I worked with Mr. Falzone I was certain attorneys were only concerned with their retainers and generating bills. As the sole support for my daughters costs were a concern. I did my research and was fortunate to have him represent me. I was and continue to be very satisfied with his service and I strongly recommend Mr. Falzone for assistance in resolving marital and support issues. He cares about what is best for you and for your children. The fees I paid was truly a great value and money well spent. I had tried to handle my situation on my own without success. New foster parents listen up, you can't do it on your own. DCFS pretends you can but you can't, trust me. Takin knows his stuff. I was ensnared in a corupt child protective services juvenile matter (DCFS) and my 2 children which started in Dec 2007. although it was dragged out in local juvenile court over the next 2 years in a manner which was done as a punitive means by the temp judge- He helped ensure my children weren't taken away thru that time. I knew my civil rights and those of my children's were violated from day 1- I am blessed that he responded to my massive blanketing of law firms, and that he is an expert in the field of suing CPS DCF for violations of rights. I learned that the smartest attorneys, one's that know they would accept a civil rights law suit against a government group but get actively involved at a much earlier stage can work miracles. He is the most down to earth, well grounded attorney I have still yet to meet. This the is the greatest attorney of all time, nothing but god sent. He made me realize my calling and have a business because of his heaven sent sole, compassion. He made sure my child was never in the care of the unethical people the devil sent. He made sure she was set free from corrupt practices from judges and social services. Robert represented my ex-wife and was definitely one of the best lawyers I have encountered. My attorney was VERY expensive and I was truly disappointed. She was not able to stand across from Robert in the court room. I had noticed his knowledge in the law and his real life experience combined made one of the best arguments. Years later I remarried and my current was just finishing her divorce and custody case. Her lawyer at the time was very passive. We hired Robert and let me say what an honor to have him on my side! Mr. Razai is a proactive attorney that never lets anything slip through the cracks. He is forthcoming with all the possible outcomes so you can make informed decisions. He also explains the law in a way that is methodical, so things are more clearly understood. There is no middle-man to deal with as he deals directly with your case, so he is always available to respond to emails and phone calls. Previously, I was dealing with an attorney that I had spent $10k to carryout a set aside that should have taken 3 mos, but took 7 mos. I needed to get my kids back from a my children's narcissistic father who had played the judge at a custody hearing and did not tell the court that I had an excused non-appearance, therefore granted him the custody schedule he had been seeking - a 20/80 timeshare! Mr. Razai took on my case and handled it as if he's done it a thousand times before. I hired Mr. Razai, who had a clear hold on the Orange County court system and the Family Law judges which gave me a sense of comfort. It also helped that he was a parent himself. But more importantly, he wrote an article about the phenomenon of the narcissistic father battling divorce and acted accordingly during my case. Considering this, I was impressed that Mr. Razai was able to keep the custody and child support hearings out of court which saved me a lot of grief and exorbitant costs. Mr. Razai was recommended to me by a friend and I would do the same for anyone who is looking to defend your case in a succinct, professional manner. He is a hero in our household because he was able to get my ex to rightfully change our timeshare back to 50/50 AND defend my case against child support modification.

After catching my wife with another man, a marriage therapist who served me divorce papers during a session I was paying for, and a false claim on a bogus restraining order. I found myself in a situation in life I never imaged I would be in. I was referred to Mike via a family friend and I am so grateful Mike picked up the phone the day I called. While my emotions bounced around and the world felt like it was crumbling around me. Mike was the voice in my ear I needed to hear to walk me through everything in front of me. With his years of experience Mike guided me through the various scenarios and situations that could take place depending on what I wanted to do. Guidance I feel only exists with someone of his experience and time in this profession. It never felt like Mike was trying to get additional hours out of me and or that I was just another billable client. Mike and his wife Laurie bring you into their group and do what they can to help you step into that next chapter of life. I was referred to this lawyer by a friend that had gone through a divorce, and at the time I was looking for an amicable situation that turned sideways and he stayed by my side and helped me through a long divorce. (not because of me, but my ex was fighting the whole situation and was drinking and lying). Mr Davis took his time explaining different scenarios and how it could work out so I could make informed decisions. The job was done so well that I have hired him for other situations and consulted him for writing up other legal documents. (Promissory note and prenuptial agreement, learn from previous situation). My fiance is going through bad child custody/ support case with his ex, and I was scared cause judge was going for mom and child support went up, so I called almost all attorneys in our county and no one would work with us - we don't have thousands of $ to give a lawyer... but she could hear how scared I was and she is working with us. We are still going through this right now but I would recommend her to Anyone. She is upfront and can be a lil rude but, I don't care, she is an Awesome lawyer! I can't thank her enough!

Ms. Lauser is a wonderful attorney. She is an attorney who is devoted and loves what she does. I truly respect her for the work and devotion that she puts into each of her clients and cases. I have seen her at work she is constantly fighting for what is right. When she believes in her case she will fight for you until the end. She is handling my juvenile case at this moment and is doing an outstanding job. As far as if Ms. Lauser loves the Lord on some of these reviews they say she is a hypocrite I say this to them "You without sin cast the first stone" we all have our dirty little sins and we are not perfect but I can say that Ms. Lauser does love the Lord with all her heart and she may have her faults at times but she is a very God fearing women and an excellent attorney. I was recommended Pamela by another mother going through custody and CPS false reporting. After the interview with Attorney Pamela. She reviewed my case with a short noticed that trial would be in 30 days. I felt confident and quickly hired Attorney Pamela. I felt very confident that I called Attorney Pamela one a week, I had no worries that my case was in good hands. I had two days of trail, well-organized, a list of witnesses - Yes! Pamela had to move fast on my case. Two days and Pamela was great in asking all the right questions, reviewed all documents and on time. An honest, hard working, well prepared to a last minute trial. I was given custody in a small increment but at the mediation meeting two weeks after the trail. The other party decided/willingly to share 50 - 50 joint custody.

I had a very difficult scenario with divorce and found myself looking for an attorney in Sacramento. I consulted with several attorneys, but none of them stood out to me as someone I could trust with my case. When I went in for a consultation with Mark- I felt like he would be a good fit. He took the time to listen and immediately started thinking of different options of approach. My case lasted over a year and finally closed with a favorable outcome. Mark throughout the whole process was always responsive and made me feel like I'm in good hands. He is self-collected and has a good sense of humor. After the case closed- we ran into another issue that was overlooked during the hearing, and Mark quickly got in resolved, he appeared in court and fought until everything was resolved.
