For a number of weeks prior to our custody trial, he didn't answer emails or calls with two exceptions. Two weeks before our trial, I sent an email and got an auto-responder saying he would be back from vacation the day before our pretrial statement was due.
He actually didn't turn in any of the evidence with the statement so the judge didn't see any of the three inch thick pile of evidence I had prepared and organized into a google drive. So all he really ever got during our two days of trial was a he said/she said argument with nothing to back it up - except for the incomplete, chauvinistic custody evaluation.
Twice, this attorney replied to my emails in the last month and he directed me to file PFAs on my son's behalf which I was reprimanded for in the courtroom because that wasn't the correct motion to make in a custody situation. Meanwhile the attorney was home packing his bags for a vacation. He just didn't want to be bothered and the judge ultimately accused me of misusing the legal system to wrongfully withhold custody.
He allowed a custody evaluation that wasn't even completed (the broad-based personality assessments and parenting questionnaires weren't completed by "father"), to be admitted to court. I paid $7,000 to get that evaluation because the father is mentally ill and poses a threat to my child's safety! Everyone from the doctor to the judge to this attorney, treated these evaluations like their just some kind of expensive joke.
I really don't think anyone in the legal system cares about the well-being of a child, certainly not mine. They're all collecting paychecks but no one is doing their job...
Unfortunately, my little boy is the one who has to endure the heinous abuse of his biological perpetrator for the next nine years!

Do not hire her. Melinda does not keep you updated or inform you of anything going on with your case. She would not respond to calls, emails, or texts for weeks at a time. I would end up asking my ex what certain papers were and what I needed to do.
She works at the pace that is convenient for her. It would take her months to send one letter to my ex’s attorney….but as soon as I fired her, the motion to be removed and done with me took her ONLY ONE DAY to get handled.
I’m not sure who I hated more during this process, her or my ex…it was a tie most days. Save yourself the frustration and don’t use her. Hopefully I have saved someone from going through the torture I went through. 💞

Deborah Brand - I found to be a Very professional no nonsense attorney. Deborah listens and acts thoroughly to address the issues at hand in a timely efficient manner. She’s caring and knowledgeable. Debrorah articulates situations well across multiple disciplines to people with varied knowledge of the legal system. She’s able to successfully communicate to those at all levels.

Let me begin by saying Konrad did what we asked him to do. He was great. Our case took about 2 years, as it was a custody case, so this can be normal. Emails are the best way to communicate with him. He is a sole practice and I'd imagine he is out and about quite often, in court, giving free consultations, etc. Keep in mind, this also may allow him to keep his prices a tad lower than some other practices with all the bells and whistles. I read a poor review down below and I would imagine as a lawyer, you win some and you lose some, so your reviews may not be perfect. The person below was struggling with some sort of settlement for quite some time and they had mentioned that Mr. Jarzyna was out of the country 2 times. This was true. His mother was very ill and the 2nd time he left the country it was for her passing. These reviews are nice and usually helpful but on the same token we tend to lack compassion for others. I felt it necessary to make people aware that this attorney was not just sitting in the Bahamas sipping margheritas, he was attending to one of the most important things in his or anyone's life. I have seen what this attorney is capable of and he is fair. If he can help you, he will!

Since my initial consultation with Mr. Jarzyna, he is aware that I am on a fixed income due to a permanent disability. My case involved receiving a large amount of money owed to me via a Decree signed by the Master Attorney assigned to my case. The Master Attorney stated and my attorney reiterated that the amount of money owed to me stated in the Court Decree must be placed in my bank account within 30 days from the date of the Master Hearing (September 10, 2018) and if not placed in my bank account on the 31st day after the said hearing (October 10, 2018) the Sheriff of Berks County will serve a warrant on the Defendant and take him into custody. It is now approximately three years since I hired Mr. Jarzyna as my attorney and four months since the Decree was issued for the Defendant to return my money, and I have not received the money owed to me, nor have I heard from Mr. Jarzyna even after leaving a number of voicemails. Six months in from retaining Mr. Jarzyna, each time I tried to contact him, no one at his law firm answers the phone and I leave a voicemail. I wait at least 3-4 months each time with no contact from Mr. Jarzyna, by telephone call, text, email, or letter, and I leave 2 or 3 voicemails. At least two times of which I am aware, he was out of the country for personal reasons. He did not notify me or the Berks County Bar Association, and did not arrange for another attorney to cover his sole practice. Both times he was out of the country the telephone was not answered and I left numerous voicemails. I have been contacted by him via USPS only when a court hearing was ordered by the judge and/or master attorney. I am extremely disappointed in Mr. Jarzyna, and I cannot in good faith give Mr. Jarzyna a good review, or refer anyone to his practice.

She is so amazing and caring. She doesn't over charge like some other attorneys. She sincerely cares about her clients and asks questions. She even gave me a ride once to her office from the court house. I finally got primary custody of my son after fighting for it for around 4 years. She doesn't sit silently in the courtroom when challenged like some novice attorneys. She fights hard and tough. Thank you, you're like family when it comes to law.

Laura is professional, organized and absolutely has calls returned in a reasonable amount of time . She listens and can be compassionate at times. With that being said I would not recommend her if you are a male dealing with a PFA being filed. I never abused my wife in 11 yrs of marriage. I did not abuse her physically, emotionally, verbally or financially. I had a PFA filed and when it was served to me it was of a denied PFA because the judge saw right through it. However, due to persistence by outside pressures and the coaching by counselors at the Women's Resource Center , another one was filed with a couple of blatant and obvious lies and was granted. I hired Attorney Robbins to fight the PFA. The agreement was to fight it. I was devastated to even have my name in the same sentence with abuser or wife beater. When we got to court, Laura cowered to pressure from the Women's Resource Center and Assistant Prosecutor. I had only been to court a few time and never for a charge of abuse. Laura decided I should plead guilty. Her explanation was that if they can convince or prove of even one incident of abuse and I plead not guilty that it would be bad. I admit I forget the exact consequences. This happened several years ago and I have learned a lot since then. In the county in Pennsylvania that I live in now, my wife would not even have been granted a PFA or her PFA would have quickly been denied. Yet, due to inexperience in life and law I listed to Laura and plead guilty. She convinced me by asked Ng if I had ever raised my voice at my wife, now ex....I said well yes, but rarely and I did not yell or step or call her names. Laura said something like but you raised your voice and that's enough. Now, in Laura's defense, when this happened, abuse by men was a hot topic in Centre County. A retired State Trooper had around that time gone into a Weis Market in Philipsburg and shot his estranged wife. In a custody exchange a man shot and killed his ex wife at a Sheetz on Buffalo Run Road. As you can see I'm being honest and explaining the whole story. But the thing is, I really did not abuse my ex. In fact a couple times she abused me and even got a summons from a state Trooper for smacking, hitting and scratching me up. We should of fought it, she should of fought it. Does anyone understand the consequences of a PFA being granted by a judge during a separation, custody and divorce. I'm not even going to describe or explain how bad pleading guilty to that PFA did that day, I could write a small book about all the consequences that followed. A couple of quick highlights...In the very beginning of this s mess it became a major issue to even see my kids. I also could not work certain community service events that I like doing and lost many job opportunities. It got worse from there. I cannot speak to how well she does with custody and alimony, I did not use her for that. As for tough cases, fighting false PDA's, no way. Also if I could go back in time I would file for malpractice.

I must say how much I appreciate Laura and her attentiveness to her clients. She was the fourth attorney I saw in State college and the one that got my divorce finalized. I did some of the work to eliminate cost, but she made this happen.
I knew after our first consultation that she had empathy and understanding of my situation. She has amazing knowledge and efficiency.

Very controling. Not out for your best interest. Makes many mistakes. Also over charges and double charges. Does not consult with you before proceeding. Waits till the last minute and doesn't give the full information. Regularly asks for postpontments. Charges for research. Also tells the client what to do, forgetting that she work for you not the other way around. Definitely won't be using again.

No one ever wants to have to go through a divorce, but if you do, Kristen and Shah Law Group are the people you want to call. They were always very responsive, knowledgeable, and accommodating. They answered all of my questions and worked with me even after all was said and done. I always was able to speak directly with Kristen. I was never pushed off to someone else. Most unprofessional legal firm do not return calls get to keep all the legal fees without representation and they lost my deposition documents. When it came to getting my documents back after Mr Donovan set an appointment never appears and I had to call the police into there law firm.

I had a full blown custody trial with Ashley. I have a lot of experience in the courtroom. In fact I fired my previous attorney I had and hired her to take over the case. In my case Ashley was the last line of defense for my children. I say my case but this wasn’t my case. This case was my children’s case. Ashley has impacted me in a way I can’t explain. She did exactly what I hoped for and went above and beyond for my children. I don’t know where her career will lead her but she will have me as a client to whatever law firm she may be with for the rest of her career. She is an amazing trial attorney which is truly the highest of compliment I can give to any attorney. Any attorney can settle cases as it doesn't require a tenth of the effort and work that a trial would take. A trial attorney is where the elite stand and that is where Ashley is in my book. She put countless of hours of work into my case and all of that showed on display during my custody trial. Yes we won the trial but more importantly it was her presentation, compassion, and hard work that impressed me the most. Never once did this woman even try to "get to know" me, my children, and our needs and wants. As such, I lost primary custody. She never fought very diligently for our side in mediation, giving in to all of the other side's demands. Then, on top of EVERYTHING else, she left the Myers Law Group to become employed by "the ex's" law firm, Cordell & Cordell with no notice!!! They *say* that my info, little as it is, will be confidential, but we ALL have heard of "water cooler chat," now, haven't we?? I do NOT recommend her.

Josh Camson is a wonderful attorney who isn’t afraid of a challenge. I found Josh doing a google search when trying to have my name expunged from the child line registry in PA. I incorrectly and unfairly was indicated as perpetrator in 2007 . I was very young and afraid to fight back because of the fear of losing my son. I thought that if Bucks county children and youth would indicate me when I clearly did nothing wrong after the other person admitted that my son was in their care that they would certainly not hesitate to do so. After calling many attorneys who specialize in this I began to loose hope because they all declined to take my case or did not call back at all. Josh called me personally and spent about a half hour discussing what I was trying to do, and the history involving this incident . I also had a timeline for when this needed to be done by (02/01/2020). Mr. Camson was empathetic , understanding , and confident he could help me and decided to take my case. I am so glad I found Josh on google. He was prompt replying via email, when I had an urgent issue he would call me back immediately. I was very anxious about this whole process and worried I would not have my clearance in time for my deadline. It is with great happiness and gratitude that I express how happy I am with all Mr. Camson did for my family and I. My hearing was yesterday 01/31/2020, he was on time , well prepared as we prepped the day before via phone , but most importantly , Josh helped me WIN MY CASE! I will recommend him to anyone in this predicament . Josh Camson is your best chance at receiving a fair hearing and trial with Child Line in regards to having your name expunged , not only did he fight good cause but he also proved to the court that this case was incorrectly investigated and came to an incorrect conclusion which enabled my name to be removed from the registry effective immediately. Marakay Rogers helped me with a child custody case recently. She was honest and upfront with me about what we would be dealing with and our chances for success, although they were limited. Not only did she let me know what to expect, she was in my corner every step of the way. With her knowledge and persistence, we won the case on every count.
Every phone call that I've left for her was returned in a reasonable amount of time and any necessary paperwork was delivered quickly.
I'm happy to use her again and to recommend her to anyone who wants to know that they have a fighter with them in their corner.

Attorney Barbara O’Hara is a truly an amazing, dedicated, and compassionate attorney! Over the past five years I have tried time after time to resolve custody issues for my two children with a previous attorney. I requested Jennifer's services to help me respond to a divorce proceeding and determine jurisdiction for a case. You expect a basic level of client service form any attorney, but this was severely missing from Ms. Dumin. I never received a briefing anytime before our court date. She was not readily available over email, as I had to send multiple follow ups. She came to court wholly unprepared and very flustered. She could not even answer basic questions on my behalf leaving me stranded and embarrassed. I understand that you are the legal expert but your clients are not idiots and it is your duty to keep them informed and step up as a professional. This was a disgusting experience through and through. I am surprised she is not immediately disbarred. The firm also had the nerve to try and charge me full price for the judge appearance knowing that I did not receive a proper deposition. I had to advocate for decreased charges. Ms Dumin, please don't practice law ever again, or work on your client service especially with "diverse" clients. We're not all stupid and you are not this god that is above approach. Humble yourself.

I cannot begin to tell you how incredible Jennifer Dumin is, she gives lawyers a good name. She is both knowledgeable and has a heart of gold! He’s not the kinda of attorney that will make false promises for you to hire him. He’s very honest and up front. He also focuses on the big picture and how a judge will see things. He’s very knowledgeable on the laws. All around he’s a good attorney. We have kept him on retainer for two years now for child custody purposes and he has yet to let us Down. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Jacklyn and Michelle. Trust me…if there is anyone on this earth you should get a referral from- it’s me. My son’s father (who is an abusive psychopath, sociopath, narcissistic loser with multiple criminal charges against him) has been taking me to court multiple times a year since my son was 3. My son is now 17 and currently does not have any relationship or contact with his father, but in the past years he would manipulate my son into doing whatever he wanted because my son deeply feared him.
His father sleeps with his lawyer so he gets free representation and has been doing so for the past 15 years. Meanwhile- I have drained all of my own and all of my families resources paying for lawyers and psychologists- doing anything I could to prevent my son’s abusive father from harming him. I’ve had a total of 8 lawyers. No one could handle my case. It was too much work and his father was relentless. Jacklyn and Michelle truly cared about me and my son. They put their everything into doing whatever they could to help me. They didn’t sugar coat anything- gave full transparency- made no broken promises- they were there whenever you needed them- and finally made me feel like someone was fighting for me. Hired Bernard for a custody case. Ultimately lost custody. Bernard is much more concerned with how he is viewed with judges and peers than he is with the best interest of his client and the child. Not assertive when he needs to be. Money and how he is perceived is much more important than the true well being of a child. Would definitely not recommend!!

I was involved in a Auto accident back in 2018 and I wasn't sure if i needed to hire a lawyer but the injury i sustained to my knee forced me to hire a Lawyer. Bernard was Recommended to me and the experience was amazing.

I hired Jill on a two occasions and both were criminal. Jill did an amazing job in both cases. The first case I had all of my major
charges dropped which would have resulted in jail time. The second case, Jill did another amazing job. Melissa Greevy represented me for multiple child custody hearings. Lets face it Divorce is a less then ideal thing to go through. Add in figuring out child custody and its just down right miserable. As a father it was very important to me to to share physical and legal custody of my child. As a man I thought this was going to be a challenging battle, because I bought into a common misconception that fathers were not treated as equals to mothers in custody court. I reached out to attorney Greevy at the advice of a friend who has used her in the past. She’s very passionate and aggressive; that’s what I needed. I paid her 300$ consultation fee.... we talked for about an hour and I didn’t catch her “vicious” vibe that I was told about; she reviewed my legal documents and discussed our potential plan of action.... following our phone call; I received an email from Melissa stating that she would be handing my case over to another attorney in her office..... confused; I asked her why- I wanted HER to fight for me and my child..... she OFFERED for me to interview this attorney before making any decisions and paying the retainer. I spoke with the other attorney and did not in any way feel that attorney was the one for my case. So, I backed out- and hired another attorney(s) with a different firm- won the case... life is back to normal....
I randomly get a bill, in the mail from Melissa’s law office- billing me for a review of the legal documents (isn’t that covered in a consultation) - also for my interview with the other attorney that Melissa OFFERED me to do..... so- this firm wants me to pay 500$ for ..... nothing. For a 1 hr consultation.... after being blown off by Melissa and just thrown onto someone who was completely not fit to handle the emergency petition thrown our way.
