It's hard to tell. He once told me I was the most difficult client he had ever had, I said thank you and moved on. But what makes me so difficult? Knowledge of the law, refusal to accept his word for anything, and a fierce internal sense of justice. Maybe. I think John is smart and wishes he had stayed in academia. Tennessee is a dumb place to try and practice the law, the folks in charge make it impossible, that's not the fault of the attorneys, right? Anyway, John is great, he's just a Tennessee attorney and they can only do so much.

So let me start by saying this was by far the easiest event I’ve ever been a part of. My wife and I started talking about me adopting her daughter so we could complete our family of 4. We have been part of each others lives for a while and she’s always referred to me as dad. After my wife had called numerous offices with no answer or call back, we were kind of beat. One day I called 2 firms and got nothing back. Then I called Yates & Wheland. Not only did they answer on the first ring, I had an appointment set before I got off the phone. In less than 2 months we were in the courtroom finalizing the adoption. Best phone call I’ve ever made. They were very upfront with all the information and steps that were taken. We never felt like something was out of place. Everybody involved was very responsive and caring. Fortunately all it took was for the phone call to be answered and we are very thankful they answered.

A ticket I received turned out to be a Class A misdemeanor. Couldn't just pay a fine, had to appear in court. After looking up Class A misdemeanor it appeared more serious than a standard ticket, so I chose to seek legal advice. I called the Baker law firm and Mr Baker himself returned my call. I was set up with a meeting the next day and related what had happened. He felt quite certain he could get the case dismissed, possibly without a court appearance, and if that wasn't possible a short appearance in court and court costs, and the problem would be solved. Within a few hours his secretary called and informed me he had negotiated the dismissal. I did have to appear in court the next day but that went smoothly in less than a half hour. I felt like he and his staff truly cared about my problem. I give the Baker Law firm my highest recommendation.

I’m an actual claims adjuster and my experience was better than expected! I previously worked in injury auto claims like this before transitioning to property claims because it was so stressful. I decided to hire an attorney to handle my claim because I was dragging my feet to handle it myself. Working for my own insurance company’s holding company, I knew roughly what settlement to expect but David and Elissa handled my claim and got me a great settlement, about 3 times what they normally would’ve paid. They kept me informed, handled the litigation, and made it a simple and easy process. My claim had a complicated coverage issue and they got it sorted out with minimal stress in my end. So when I got into my situation with my wife basically I Googled lawyers in my area Roland Hairstons team came up and I just looked at the reviews and what got me were the reviews where they had to handle cases that other attorneys couldn't finish or going in the wrong direction. That's what got me over and from that point I knew this was the firm to handle my situation. They are straight up with their fees and no hidden fees. I'm not a million dollar client but they treated me like a million dollar client. If I didn't speak to Hunter one of the other attorneys would handle the situation and was on top of it like I was talking to them about everything which was amazing and a great feeling. It's nice when you don't have to explain yourself all over again which means lawyers in this firm communicate to each other so everybody's on the same page. My troubles started 4 years ago when a detective from Marshal county set me up and proceeded to charge me with a felony that I didn't do. At the time I had no record or knowledge of the law. I just wanted things behind me. I hired a lawyer who was part of the Marshall county cartel and he just went along with everything they said. Long story short I now have a target on me because I bought a farm that Tony Nichols wanted. That man was trying to take advantage of me being ignorant to the law. Last I heard they were getting me on several felonies and sending me to prison for 10+ years. I then got in contact with Ross and he had different plans so I was able to walk out of the hell hole that is Marshall county court house a free man. Ross is so personable and knowledgeable, it gives him the advantage over any other lawyer. If you've been hung out to dry and see no way out from the corruption that we call small town Tennessee politics, do yourself a favor and get Ross Brazil on your side.
P.S. the DA in Marshall County is corrupt as all get out. They all are down there and need to be stopped.

Thanks to Paul Randolph’s legal prowess, which is truly remarkable, he successfully sought the dismissal of 18 charges against my nephew. This case was extraordinarily complex, involving 6 felonies and 4 theft counts. After those charges were nollied due to misidentification, the Police Department in Rutherford County, Tennessee, charged my nephew with 8 new theft counts. Undeterred by this development, Paul meticulously explored every detail of the case and concluded that the Police Department did not have probable cause to arrest my nephew.
