I met Jesse over 10 years ago and hired her as my attorney this past year. Jessi Garza is a great attorney. I had the privilege of obtaining her services about a month ago. I was unfortunately arrested for charges that I thought would never go away. When I first met Ms Garza I was able to watch her work and she seemed to know her way around the court room. She was very honest and to the point and very courteous and professional. So when I was able to obtain her as an attorney I knew I had the right person fighting for me with out a doubt. When she would consult with me it was to the point and very honest. She never left you in the dark or guessing. She always made sure you knew what was going on and what her game plan was. It was just very comfortable dealing with her. She kept me at ease in a situation that normally I would be nervous. She definitely lived up to my expectations because she was able on the first day of court to have my charges dropped. I was targeted by scammers. These scammers are so convincing I almost fell for it. I called the Mingledorff Firm and they took it from there. Another time I was falsely accused of a car accident when I wasn’t even in town! T.Mingledorff got the supporting video footage and resolved the matter with the police directly. Ms. Voigt is by far an amazing person and attorney with a lot of grace in her heart. Ms. Voigt is definitely very dependable, honest, compassionate and trust worthy. She takes her job to heart and although is not able to make promises she will promise that she "will fight to the end for her client). I was in need of hiring an attorney, it was late Sunday evening, when unfortunately I came across a very stressful custody situation. I contacted Ms. Voigt Sunday evening in need of legal advice/assistance asap, by the grace of God she answered and I was so thankful, I didn't expect any attorney to answer after hours let alone on a Sunday. She was definitely first on my list to call, as I had previously sat in many court hearings in which I had witnessed Ms. Voigt in action fighting for her client(s). She communicates well pursasively, clearly and to the point both orally and written. I was nervous about choosing an attorney. I haven't ever needed one. I was also surprised at the retainer that most attorneys charge. Xalli Gonzales allowed a payment plan that worked with my income. What I really liked is that she explained how billing works with an attorney who charges an hourly rate. She knew I was tight on money. I was never surprised by a bill because she discussed it with me each step of the way. I was also nervous about showing up to court. Mrs. Gonzales made me feel very comfortable and at ease. Everything was resolved promptly and painlessly.

I had an attorney who did nothing for me but lose my right to see my son. I fired the old and hired Xalli Gonzales. She wasn't the cheapest but she explained exactly what she intended to do and put me on a payment plan that I could live with. We recently had our final hearing and she won back my standard visitations with my son. I don't know what I would have done without her. My other attorney showed up to my final hearing with a motion to withdraw. Xalli was there, took over the case, and we won everything back. On responsiveness I didn't rate her as excellent because it takes her about 24 hours to return a call. But it is actually HER that calls and not an assistant so I guess that is still pretty good.

I have been a client of hers for over a year and she is amazing. She responds to my calls and texts quickly and always makes me feel better. Dawn is easy to communicate with and tolerated kindly my many questions and ideas. I wanted to actually understand the process and feel in control of the situation. Michael Crowder is amazing! We were in a very scaring situation with my daughter with a DWI and a couple of other not so good charges. Michael Crowder was able to get all charges dismissed. He use to be a police officer for years. So he definitely knows the laws very well and how to navigate through the legal system. He is also very reasonable in price compared to other attorneys. Sally Bybee represented me in a difficult and messy divorce, and I really appreciate the way she helped me get through it. My divorce was one very long emotional roller coaster for me. My ex and I could agree on very little and the situation felt like it was exploding on every front. We even walked out of mediation at one point. But Sally never got bogged down in the turmoil and she didn’t let me lose focus either.
She knew from the start that my kids were my highest priority and she never let me lose sight of that. Ultimately, I just wanted a fair outcome that was in the best interests of my children, but it’s easy to become emotionally and mentally scattered in the midst of a battle. When my marriage fell apart and I needed to file for a divorce, I talked to several attorneys. I knew my situation was unusually complicated and that I was going to be facing some extremely tough opposition. The first few attorneys I spoke to thought I was exaggerating and didn’t seem to take my concerns seriously. Once I met Sally Bybee, I knew I had found the right attorney to represent my interests. She really listened to me and I felt like she understood what I was saying. She was empathetic and concerned, and she got to work immediately.
From the start, Sally nailed down the facts and created a tactical plan for getting the job done. She took a very direct approach and pursued our goals very aggressively every step of the way. Because my ex-husband and I could not communicate rationally about anything, Sally had to work hard to keep things on track. She was persistent and focused, and truly exceptional. For me, the process was grueling and emotional, but Sally never got flustered or bogged down in the mess.

Mr. Hacker was honest about the process and informed me of his strategy from the beginning of my case. He answered the phone himself (not the paralegal) or returned my calls and/or responded to my emails in a timely manner. He was able to navigate the process throughout my hearing day that was supposed to end in temporary orders to final orders, which was amazing to witness and was a huge savings in time and money. In addition, he gave me great advice on where we should focus monetarily since my ex was also very behind on child support plus our decree was based on my ex living in California. I am impressed by his ability to stay calm but also be aggressive in a respectful manner. His main concern was what was at the best interest of my child. When I first met Mr. Hacker I was a mess. I was in a very mentally fragile state and had a hard time focusing. I was in a Divorce that had really taken a toll on me and I was ready to just walk away from it all. Mr Hacker gave me hope and was able to help me through a process I did not think I had the strength to get through. In the end he was able to get me a fair settlement. April 15, 2012 I was arrested for a DWI. I had a history of DWI convictions. The District Attorney was ruthless. I was on Parole and could not bond out. I went to trial and was found NOT GUILTY on April 2, 2015. Yes, I was found NOT GUILTY after sitting in jail 2-1/2 years. I felt my neck under the boot of an impatient, Byzantine legal bureaucracy of Galveston County. The true blessing and hope was that I was in good hands with Tad Nelson and Amber Spurlock on my side. I was in the conservative court of Judge Lonnie Cox, which is said to favor the State. I was summoned to his chambers and was greeted by an Electric Chair sitting next to the photo of him and his bride. One could not feel any less comfortable. The Galveston Police officer had a story and so did I. Both stories conflicted each other. Tad Nelson listened to every word I had to say and he asked all the right questions.
