I hired Ms. Woods in the hopes that she would represent me and represent my best interest. She was more about the money than representing my best interest. I had to sign my divorce because of how much much she was charging me for text messages. I would rather go with another lawyer that would be helpful and represent me.

Scheduled an appointment for consultation and when I received the appointment it was for a phone call.. I arranged my work schedule for that day to take the call at home for privacy as I work in an office of 2000 associates. She had her office to change my appointment time and move it up and I didn’t even get 24 hour notice that she needed to change the time. Then when I could not they attempted to change to the next day like I can just tell my job I am going to run out whenever I want. She then refused the consultation all together . Very unprofessional and rude.

My attorney was everything I had expected. She held the prosecutors accountable to provide relevant evidence/ testimony. She held them to the letter of the law related to hearsay. I watched Mr. Leiva go way above and beyond for a very close family member the first time I ever met him. Throughout the entire process he stayed in touch with my family to let us know what was going on at all times this was in 2002 in a federal court room.
In 2012 Mr. Leiva was called by my family again for what was a very very weak case but very very serious charges and accusations he treated as if it were like any other case that he puts hrs and hrs of work witch is very highly appreciated. You most definitely want his brilliant and savvy mind on your side 100%.
I had issue with Mr. Leiva and of course with a mind as brilliant as his it doesn’t come cheap, nor should it but after spending as much as my family did throughout the years one would like to think I can give this family a break. Like I stated my family has been relying on Mr Leiva since 2002 for a wide range of cases, knowing my family’s personal situation I just would have thought that just maybe he would be a bit more understanding when it came to the amount of money that was spent especially in my case .
With that said I’d recommend him to loved ones without hesitation, he’s simply on a different level!
10/10 without a doubt!

To hire the services of this firm was one of the best decisions I ever made.
They were extremely professional from the beginning to the end of my case. They keep me up date at every moment and always were very realistic on the expectation I could have on the outcome of my case.

I contacted the firm regarding abusive neighbors. I explained the situation and asked for counsel that did not believe gay persons should be persecuted. I was led to believe an attorney would call almost immediately, as the secretary confirmed there would be no conflict of interest in representation. No one called, and the firm refused to return my calls, and would not take my calls. I have to conclude the firm favors the persecution of gay persons.

I paid him 160.00 for a consultation to handle a divorce. After I explained to him what I wanted to do he accepted and I paid him another 10,000. Jace purposely through my case to protect another attorney. After the hearing I fired him. Jace will initiate a bunch of frivolous phone calls and emails just to bill you. After he was fired he continued to bill me. I’m disabled and have no income and yet he felt the need to extort me. This man is horrible. He figured if I could find a way to pay his initial fees I could find a way to continue to pay him after the fact. Stay away from the horrible man.

He'll tell you what you need to know and what to do, regardless of how much you've screwed up in multiple occasions and situations, he does not give up and knows the law very well.
