I don't trust her and won't advice anyone to hire her. she is not a professional attorney in my opinion. she missed up my case and my full situation with immigration. she doesn't know how to prepare a case and defend her clients. she doesn't deserve even a star. DON'T HIRE HER, you will regret later. trust me.

Erin went above and beyond with my rather complicated case, and she fought for me. She clearly articulated the steps I needed to take, what she was doing, and gave appropriate counsel along the way. I trusted her fully with my case. Global Justice's office staff are polite, professional and work very fast. As a client, I know how emotional and stressful immigration situations can be. Erin calmly assisted me through the process, knows the law intimately, and did very specific research to ensure all components were properly in place. Erin was extremely responsive to my emails and calls. I am impressed with her national advocacy in DC, additionally with her local contacts in this pivitol time of immigration reform. Amanda helped me in a criminal matter back when I was young(er) and dumb(er), and she did a great job, and did it for a reasonable fee. She believed in me, she worked hard on my case, and she got all charges dismissed. She gave me a second chance at life and inspired me to become an attorney myself, and I will forever be grateful for that. Christine is very knowledgeable about the immigration process. She gave us step by step instructions throughout the process. She set our expectations. The entire process of getting a green card was straight forward with her as she knows her way around the law, and understands the process from handling several cases similar to ours. Her rates were fair and worked with us to getting payment since we had an employer sponsorship. Christine was thorough in her documentation, verifying the information and providing us with copies. When she did make a mistake, she ate the cost and refiled it for us. It didn't create any hiccups along the way at all! Highly recommend her for your immigration needs. Love the fact that her passion for this area of law stems from her personal experience!

He was my lawyer and it was my first time being introuble. I was soo scared to go to jail. He called me all the time with new information he had for me on my case. They take criminal cases from the courts for prosecuting you, don't use them if you have a criminal case pending they probably have it.

Mr Iwama helped us with a Chapter 13 bankruptcy. When we first met him we were impressed by him. He said he could help us renegotiate our debt ( we had a second mortgage, car loan, and a few credit cards). He said that the entire bankruptcy would be 3 years and the payment would be less than $200 a month. He said that we'd have a credit rating over 700 by the time we'd be done. After review we ended up with a 5 year plan and now I'm finding out that even after the 5 years are up I still will owe money! Every time we call him he "suggests" a re-negotiation of our plan (at the cost of $300 bucks and hour). I now wish that I had done my research better and found someone that has an interest in helping people, I am not opposed to lawyers getting $300 dollars an hour but I don't not think he's actively trying to help his clients. Whenever I call his office the conversation is usually filtered through his very nasty secretary. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an attorney to look elsewhere.

I hired him upon reference to handle my divorce. It was the worst service ever, he is unprofessional, take months to respond. He didn't fight at all on behalf of me. Due to lack of experience I didn't realize that the deal I got was the worst possible deal. Whether is child support/spousal support or property distribution. Basically my entire future got jeopardized as he didn't fight and agreed to every unreasonable demand the opposite party had. DO NOT HIRE HIM.

Chris helped my wife and me with two different matters. First, we were facing foreclosure on our condo. After the endless delays involved in that process, sending and re-sending financial documentation, he helped us finally get a modification on our loan so that we will be able to keep the property with affordable payments. In another case, he also helped me enforce a lease agreement with a tenant who had stopped paying rent. I found Chris to be very accessible, even in the evenings, when I had questions or concerns. His personable style was very reassuring during everything he helped us with and I will be happy to use him again in the future—

I have used a few attorneys in the past and was introduced to Mr. kerl thru my Immigration Attorney. I was not very impressed by his office (Very Small) however I was very impressed by his knowledge. I was sick and tired of paying $250/hr to top notch attorneys and always charged for faxes and emails and even telephone calls I had made to them. I was charged even when I spoke to someone in their office. Attorneys are nice to you till you have signed and given them the retainer. Chris NEVER ONCE charged me for numerous calls I made to him. He is very INEXPENSIVE and not your typical attorney. He is busy. Probably due to the fact he don't charge you anything a typical attorney would charge. He is good with what he does. He is not 100% responsive, however he always called me back and kept me in the loop with my case. Don't get impressed with FANCY offices other attorneys have. You are paying their overheads. I sound like a salesperson, but I'm being very honest. Go to Chris. If he can help you he will tell you and if it's out of his expertise area he will politely tell you that he can't help you. Save your money. Stay away from the BOTIQUE Attorneys and use this guy at the end of the day they all face the same JUDGE. If you need to talk to me personally I'll be happy to do so. Sukhveer

Chris is a very easy-to-talk-to and effective lawyer. He successfully helped me with a long, messy divorce, through several hearings all the way to trial. He helped me avoid contempt at at least two different hearings and, at trial, my ex-wife basically settled very favorably at lunchtime after being questioned by him on the witness stand. Chris has also helped me on several other matters, fending off creditors (sometimes for years), and he even got a judgment vacated for me once. He’s a busy guy (because he’s reasonable and good) and he might not always hold your hand, but I’ve recommended him to several friends and family— Anyone need an honest opinion please do not hesitate to contact me. I had thought that my case was a really typical, standard one- last will and testament, plus health directive. I used Microsoft's ARAG system to find an in-network legal representative and tried this local one in Redmond. The only thing remotely unusual was the fact that I don't have any family or loved ones who are local, they're all in Canada. It's kind of depressing but those are my circumstances. So, okay. I fill out a bunch of paperwork for them. Some questions about my assets, I answer them. There's a good amount of correspondence by e-mail and over the phone. They are rather slow to respond, sometimes over a week for anything. Not even a simple acknowledgement of receiving your mail. But, ok. It is almost time to proceed forward with the signing- only, the paralegal *insisted* I need a representative in the US to complete the paperwork. I was pretty sure I didn't. She said I did. What is a person supposed to do if they're unmarried, no kids, and not close to anyone in the US? Maybe it's not so typical, but surely there must be many people in that category. She said maybe I could do it without one, although she doubted it, and said she'd have to check with the lawyer. After all this, and having already spent a fair bit of time+effort working with them so far, why not wait a little bit longer. I never heard back. 2 months went by. Switched attorneys, got it done the same week.

I hired Adam Prossin for legal representation in two related family law cases. However, my experience with Mr. Prossin has been highly disappointing and frustrating. Firstly, despite agreeing to handle both cases simultaneously, Mr. Prossin failed to fulfill his obligations regarding one of the cases. While he successfully handled one aspect, his overall handling of the matter was unsatisfactory. He consistently showed disorganization and lack of preparedness, often criticizing my submissions without constructive feedback or adequate guidance. Furthermore, Mr. Prossin's communication was severely lacking. He frequently ignored my messages and emails, showing disregard for my concerns and the urgency of the situation. Despite repeated attempts to reach out, he remained unresponsive, demonstrating a lack of professionalism and commitment to my case. Moreover, when I attempted to discuss the other case, Mr. Prossin brushed off my inquiries and displayed rudeness and dismissiveness. His demeanor was consistently unprofessional and disrespectful, leaving me feeling unsupported and frustrated. It has been a year, and he refuses to refund me the $6000 for the case he is refusing to represent me on. He is unresponsive to my requests. I have reached out several times to settle the matter, but at this point, he has taken payment and refused services and a refund. Overall, my experience with Adam Prossin has been deeply disappointing. His failure to fulfill his duties, lack of communication, and unprofessional behavior have resulted in a complete loss of trust and confidence in his legal representation. I would strongly advise against seeking his services.

I hired Bernice Funk to help me with my I-130 and my Adjustment of Status application. She had my wife fill out an Affidavit of Support. I made it very clear to Bernice that my wife was planning on quitting her job for her Masters degree in a few months and that she would no longer have the income to support me by the time my court date in front of an immigration judge would roll around. She told me that as long as she had the means to support me at the time of filling out the affidavit, it didn't matter, this made no sense to me. Court date rolled around, judge looked at the Affidavit of Support, asked my wife if she was still working, she said no, judge said that then she couldn't support me should the need arise and that the Affidavit of Support was useless. We had to waste months of our time for a continuance while we got another Affidavit of Support. Thanks Bernice, for leading us astray and not knowing the very basics of Immigration Law and common sense.

I had an horrible car accident early April last year and a friend referred me to Adugna Law Firm and I can say for that was the best decision I made. Zeebman is a really professional attorney 1: kept me updated every step he was taking 2: Made sure that all my medical bills and ambulance fee were all cleared. 3:Followed up with almost everyday to make sure I was getting better 4: Kept in touch with my dr to make sure I was getting the right treatment 5: He was very detailed in everything and the process which was really helpful to me since it was my first car accident. 6: He spared me the struggle of dealing with the insurance company and gave me time to heal. 7: He made sure I got all the necessary payments with clear explanation of every single detail. Anne Gould should NOT be allowed give legal representation. Her qualifications are examples of the low bar set in our current legal system. Please believe that this is not merely a response from a bitter ex-client who lost a case but it is a summary of my experience with Anne as my attorney. Anne has no real legal expertise. There were countless times during my case where I relied on Anne's recommendations. One of these recommendations resulted in my actions being found by the court as acting in "bad faith." This also resulted in my children being ripped from Washington State and transported across the country to Arkansas due to a legal technicality that Anne was not aware of. Anne is unprepared. We were in court several times over 7 months and EVERY time we were in court Anne was unable to make reasonable arguments because she spent most of her time rifling through paper notes. Anne would spend several billable hours (according to her) studying our case prior to appearing in court but then had no idea how to respond to any line of questioning. Anne is dishonest. During the time when Anne represented me there were several letters that needed to be written for trial (eg Answers, Motion for appearance, Quick Replys, etc). I personally wrote each and every one of these letters and then emailed them to Anne for legal formatting. She submitted this paperwork word for word as I had written it (even with some grammar and spelling errors). She then CHARGED me over 35 hours of "writing legal responses/paperwork." When I approached Anne with my concerns over her "over billing" she initially agreed to forgive those hours and then later SUED ME for under payment. Anne is a fraud. I fired Anne after 7 months of misrepresentation and over billing. I was upset at her effort and knowledge level of the law so I parted ways with her. After Anne agreed to forgive "overcharged" hours she then later SUED ME for over $8k (after I had already paid her over $24k in legal fees). As a footnote to this experience, I hired a different attorney after firing Anne and he was able to get my children back to Washington and in my care in less than 2 months. He knew more about my case (and the law for that matter) in only 2 face-to-face sessions than Anne ever did in 7 months. If you want to throw money away and have your life destroyed stick with Anne. She will be perfect for you.

Spoke to Eilish 2021, everything was great communication was fast. Sent her all necessary documentation and then all of the sudden it's like she fell off the face of the Earth. No follow up visit was made like she stated in consultation, no phone calls, no response to several messages. She gave me hope and then vanished. Would not recommend.

Elena profited on our family’s tragedy. Avoid working with her at all cost. Don’t waste your money and precious time! Elena knew how I was eager to bring my lonely old mother to bring to the US, and used it to take more and more money from me on every occasion even when I paid for her “service” in advance. She did everything possible for the case to be delayed. She constantly made mistakes which delayed my mother’s case for 2-3 months each time after being reviewed by NVC. She blamed them for not accepting the documents, but once I started looking into the correspondence between Elena and NVC, everything was clear: NVC gave clear guidance (about affidavit of support, about format of the photos etc) and told what had to be done, and Elena ignored them. Once I took the case into my hands, and submitted all the documents on my own - the case was instantly approved. What was especially disgusting is her asking for more money for fixing her own mistakes. I was so desperate that I sent a request to the sanator, and Elena blamed me for screwing up the case. But it turned out the senator’s office never got my mailed documents. They confirmed it via phone. But it was a nice excuse for her to use against me, and block me everywhere so she took money for her “service” (around 2k + some additional sent to her personal Zelle account), and once I confronted her about bad quality of her work, she just blocked me everywhere. And she blocked me only after I refused to pay her more money for fixing what she screwed up. Also she misinformed me in very important thing: she told that I would be able to come with my mother to the interview as a petitioner, so there “would be no need in translator” which turned out not to be the case. So I have to look for and pay a translator. The most unprofessional and unethical person I’ve ever worked with in the US for over a decade.

Mr. Arcala was very professional in every aspect of being a lawyer. He always responded within reasonable time. Knowlegeable? He definitely deserve that license. I wouldn’t even give this lawyer a one star! He does nothing he is so disrespectful and threatens people. His License should be revoked and no one should hire him find someone new all he wants is the money and doesnt do his job right. Worst person on earth.

Adolfo has represented my husband now for eight years. My husband's case is extremely complicated, but Adolfo is very knowledgeable in immigration law, and because of him my husband is still here. Here is a good example of how honest he is: When I first met him my husband was detained, and Adolfo told me from the get-go he did not think my husband would be eligible to get out on a bond, and if he did get out he said it would be at least $10,000 . My husband did get out on a bond for $5000. As you can see he was completely honest, and has been throughout the eight years he has represented my husband. We are honored to have him as our lawyer.

I hired Ojeda as our immigration attorney after having reached out to and talking with four other highly rated attorneys. I finally hired him after having to fire an attorney that was rated 10 here on Avvo. I'm so thankful I found Ojeda through word of mouth, it changed everything! I've never had to go through anything like this, it's confusing, and overwhelming. It's honestly scary to have to trust someone you don't know to handle something so big, so important. There's a reason people will tell you to hire him. He's honest, he's real, he works hard, and he's insanely knowledgeable. And he was willing to share that knowledge with us, even about little things like how to visit or send things. He knew so much more than the other attorneys, and he has the experience and wins in court to back that knowledge up. If your loved one is in there, have them ask around. They will tell though how good he is, and how many cases he is winning and how many people he had helped. Alejandro did our consult. Showed up late and didn't even apologize for making us wait. On top of him arriving late, shortened us on time. We decided to hire but, everything was so on organized, the lady who was helping him (Gloria) was so attentive on details, took a long time to respond to calls or reply to emails. Our case got transferred to probably two/three difference paralegals. At the end its just no worth your time and money working with attorney who does not work on your case.

Im so glad, everyone had a good experience becasue iam shaking frim hiw pissed off i am, he came out and consulted i never heard back from him i called multiple times he secretarys would just make up excuses, til he finally jumped on the phone, i explained we decided to go a different route due to lack of communication asked if he would return my money and he said no i was ever going to take this case at that point im in shock with how unprofessional and how he procided to argue with me! Im so glad we picked a different attorney!!

I hired Eulalia Soto to take care of a family member's removal proceedings case. Since day one she was direct over the phone but also rude. She never called to ask any questions regarding the case neither visited my family member in detention to touch base with him on the case. I had to call several times to find out the process of the case and every time I called she would tell me she would call back, but she never would. Finally, the day of the hearing, she arrived late, only talked with my family member in detention for about 15 minutes and represented him incredibly poor. His case also required knowledge of criminal justice, since it involved a police report, which she had already been told by me that it existed; yet she failed to properly inform and prepare her self well enough to defend him. Do to her not reading the police report ahead of time, she did not have an argument against the prosecutor, and my family member lost his chance of getting a bail. I highly not recommend this lawyer for immigration cases that involve criminal defense.
