I was referred to this firm. The person who referred me worked with Joe Riccio for their case. Different types of case but nonetheless, she used this law firm. I worked with Kristina Kirigin and unfortunately had a terrible experience. There was a lack of communication from the beginning. I was never spoken to or prepped before any hearing. The bill just kept racking up. The paralegal asked for the same documents over and over again.
When I told Kristina my expectations, she stated that her only job was to get me the guardianship. She did that and that's it. There was no guidance at all. I wasn't even aware when I officially got the guardianship since that was not communicated.
They also did not notify me when another partner at the firm was going to represent me.
All I have to say is I am happy I chose to stop working with this law firm and self-represent. Unfortunately, I made this decision after losing over $6k of legal fees. This is likely from communicating the same thing over and over again. Also, going to court over and over again due to their lack of communication and preparedness. Ex. I would submit something to them and they would not file it. Or, they would ask me to complete something the day or the Friday before the hearing. Only towards the end was the communication a little better. By that time, I was already out $5k.
ALSO, they assumed I had access to a shared drive which was NEVER given to me in the 10 months they represented me. So, the new lawyer who took over my case assumed I had access to this shared drive. More wasted time as I was in town and unable to complete what I needed to do that required me to be in person.

I am more than grateful and pleased with the results I received with Kristina Kirigin!! I highly highly recommend this attorney after carefully reviewing several attorneys in nevada! My choice was left between her and Joe riccio before learning that they actually worked together. I was in a highly contested custody battle in between 2 different states with another very aggressive attorney representing my ex. I found Kristina Kirigin after having to fire my last attorney and she was able to turn my entire case around that was originally going in my ex's favor due to his constant lies. We went to trial and prevailed with me getting primary physical custody, final say with legal custody, no travel and attorneys fees!! She made my ex tell the truth which broke his entire case. She also worked out a payment plan with me during the process. Kristina Kirigin and her paralegals are life savers! They were all very quick with responses to each email, text or call I made.

Their paralegal or whatever she wants to call herself name MJ is very rude and unprofessional, I asked her to to send me a balance of what’s in my trust that I pay them to keep on top of my fees and she can never tell me but I’m paying them to keep up with my accounts and they cant do so. She’s been calling me every other month with a nasty attitude telling me I need to pay more instead of letting me know on a Monthly basis what I need to pay and what’s already been paid off. They have paid off creditors and I have no idea they just ask me to pay more. I also over paid my fees so I don’t understand this poor customer service she gives to me. Go else where for your needs . They advise on television so I should have known better.

When I came to Julie in August of 2021 I was a scared mother of 2 small ones, my (now ex) husband had left me and my two small children in small desolate town in Southern Nevada with no means to survive, if you aren't a miner, driller or their wife of one, you have no future in this area. I was beyond horrified, I needed to move to another place to simply survive. I had family in Northern California but my kids dad was absolutely against this and threatened to press kidnapping charges if I left. In the time Mrs. Raye worked with me to gain custody and the right to relocate she helped me find a since of self worth and courage to keep fighting for my kids and to continue to do the right thing for them no matter how hard. Without her I am not sure how my life would have turned out nor do I want to think about the possibilities. I do know that I thank her more than anyone can ever comprehend for my second chance at life with my kids.

If you hire her it is not about you or the mental health of your children, it is about her dragging it out in order to collect more lawyer fees from you. She will ignore the other side prior to court in order to make sure it does go to court $$$$. Her unwillingness to listen cost majority child custody the father was willing to offer. I consulted and hired Donald Kudler. Donald spent a good amount of time and effort securing records and wrestling with the courts to grant requests for the records. I was elated Donald would help our family. However, after review of the records received, Donald sent me a letter by mail and withdrew from the case. When I called Donalds office with questions regarding the evaluation of the records and\or detailed explanation of what he discovered in medical records, Donald did not return my call. So, I left messages with his legal assistant and e-mailed Donald my legal questions. To date I have not received a personal phone call, explanation and/or answers to my questions. I am very disappointed.

Hello, good afternoon. Today I was in his office at 10:30 am, I wanted to speak with my Lawyer Alexander and they denied me to speak with him. He was assisted by his personal secretary and made me go to a conference office and he told me that Alexander was no longer my Lawyer that he canceled the contract and did not want to represent me anymore. I told her that I wanted to talk to him, Attorney Alexander, and she told me that he didn't want to talk to me and wanted to give me the contract cancellation papers, but I didn't accept them and she told me that she didn't care because she already sent him mail. I told him that he called me on Friday afternoon but I was finished at the hospital 🏥 Mountain View 🏥 and I couldn't answer when he called because the doctors were checking me out. They also left me hospitalized and the next day they did an Emergency MRI at 8am due to the condition of my condition due to the very high Pressure. Nausea, a lot of headache, blurred vision, dizziness, etc. I called after they did the MRI at around 9am. I talked to the operator because she told me that the offices were locked. I told her that I wanted to speak with my Lawyer Alexander and she took all my information and told me that she would send him a message immediately so that Lawyer Alexander could contact me. I told her that I was admitted to the Mountain View Hospital 🏥 and she also told her I passed Room 504 where I was. Because I wanted to explain everything the doctors told me about my critical situation and for that reason I was hospitalized. But Lawyer Alexander never called me or even sent me messages. Today I went to his office, Erick Palacios, to speak with the lawyer and they denied me. Until today, Tuesday July 30, it is 12:40 pm. I never heard back from Attorney Alexander either by phone or by message. I signed a contract with the Lawyer for him to be my representative and he told me that I had peace of mind and was in very good hands. In addition, they charge me 33 percent of the case when they win plus administrative expenses, etc. You, Mr. Erick Palacios, brought me a case in December 2019 and the marriage was completed and closed in December 2021 and you paid me compensation for my injury and you collected all the expenses and made money 💰 with my Trajo accident More than 25,000 Dollars you earned with me. Now I want Mr. Eric Palacios because they are not treating me with the education and seriousness that I deserve as a loyal client of his Law Firm. I returned for the second time to have you represent me, but the Legal Assistant Magaly treated me very badly, disrespecting me for a telephone conversation we had last week when I asked her to please send me all the medical papers that you made copies and some photos of my accident that I texted to his office. I explained to her that she needed them to send it by email or fax to the phone number that I sent her by message and the photo of the card from the company where I work. She refused to send those photos and told me that I had to go to an office and send it by email. Because this wasn't her job. So I want you, Eric Palacios, to explain to me why you are charging me 33 percent plus administrative expenses, when your legal assistants are not doing their job. I need an appointment with you to discuss this issue personally. I thank you in advance for your attention. On the evening of September 24, 2023, at 6:15 p.m. I was driving to my work as a night shift nurse at UMC as I have done 100’s of times before. I was traveling from my home in Henderson north on the 95 freeway to exit at MLK Blvd. At the 95/MLK off ramp I waited for the light to turn green then turned left onto MLK. I was then T-Boned by another vehicle traveling south on MLK that ran the red light. The full front of his car had severe damage. The right side of my car had moderate damage but was undriveable due to damage to the right front wheel. I got out of my vehicle and approached the vehicle that struck me. He appeared to be intoxicated. He was attempting to leave and was speaking to me in Spanish. Then in English he told me “We go, no police.” I called 911 and a brief time later an NHP officer arrived. He took my statement and called for a Spanish speaking officer to come and speak to the other driver. A Spanish speaking officer arrived and spoke to the other driver. The NHP officer gave me a report number. At this time, a friend or family member of the second driver arrived. They did a little work to his car then drove away. I could not drive my car due to the damage. My husband arrived and called AAA to have our car towed. Once my Adrenaline, calmed down my back and shoulder were hurting, and I went to the St. Rose De Lima Emergency Room from the accident scene where they performed a CT scan, X-Rays, and prescribed pain killers. I went home and rested and lost five days of work. I went to St. Rose Physical Therapy for 23 visits over a three month period and had three follow up doctors’ visits. Our car had $3745.40 worth of damage and was repaired by Frank’s Auto Body. We paid a deductible of $500.00.
I was hit by a driver who was a Mexican citizen with a Mexican driver’s license. He was driving a car rented in Mexico. He had an insurance policy for the rental car with an office located in California.
We contacted the Ed Bernstein Law Office the day after the accident because they have an office near our home. We provided them with the police report, photos, road maps, etc. They contacted the insurance company of the other driver and told us at first they were not responding then later told us they refused liability as their driver claimed I had run the light and his was green, which was not true. He hit me, he had severe front-end damage, his speed was fast enough that his air bags were deployed, my damage was on the passenger side. There were no witnesses, and the police report did not indicate who was at fault since neither officer witnessed the accident. Our insurance company, USAA, after their investigation declared we were not at fault.
After six months the Ed Bernstein law firm informed us they were dropping the case as there were no witnesses and declared it to be a He said/She said case that they could not win. We disagree as the relative damage to each vehicle clearly shows the other driver hit me. I feel the Ed Bernstein Law Office gave up too easily without fighting for me. It took a month from the time of the telephone call informing us that they were dropping the case to when we received the certified letter dropping the case so I could proceed with another law firm.

Attorney Gary Zernich and his entire team were exceptional during my encounter with them. Mr. Zernich was objective, thorough and very candid even when it was not the response I wanted to hear. He guided me throughout my legal proceedings, responded promptly to my inquiries and constantly kept me updated on the status of my case. He gave me legal counsel but ultimately allowed me to make decisions which were in my best interest. Attorney Gary Zernich and his entire team were exceptional during my encounter with them. Mr. Zernich was objective, thorough and very candid even when it was not the response I wanted to hear. He guided me throughout my legal proceedings, responded promptly to my inquiries and constantly kept me updated on the status of my case.
