I recently hired Mr. Palmateer in a Federal trademark dispute case in which I was the defendant. First of all, Lee is very personable and an excellent communicator, which I have found to be qualities lacking in some attorneys. He is diligent about returning phone calls and e-mails and is scrupulously honest in his billing practices. He is, in short, a credit to the legal profession.
But don't let Lee's unassuming demeanor fool you, he excels as a litigator. In fact, he is a litigator of uncommon ability and judgment. I had been sitting on my business trademark for years knowing I need to secure an official trademark but clueless on where to start. I was seriously considering using an online legal filling service but very uncomfortable with the unknowns and completely overwhelmed by the process knowing there was much more that had to be considered. A colleague recommended I contact Lee. It was the best move I could have made. I called his office and he got back to me immediately. After discovering that I had Legionnaire's Disease which I contracted from the Best Western Sovereign Hotel in Albany, which has a history of problems with this disease, I contacted Michael Conway who I knew from newspaper stories was representing several other clients with the same problem. Michael was kind enough to visit me at my home while I was still recovering from the Legionnaire's so I wouldn't have to make the trip down to his office. I had originally contacted another lawyer whom I knew personally but decided to go with Michael because he was already
deeply involved with other Best Western Legionnaire's cases. After searching and interviewing several personal injury attorneys to discuss possible legal action for a head-on collision my family experienced with my Chevy Avalanche, I decided to meet with Michael Carner to discuss what could be done with my situation. When speaking with several lawyers I quickly learned unless the physical injury was very large many attorneys showed little interest. However, my truck was totaled and my family was transported to a nearby hospital where my wife was admitted. So while the injuries were serious they did not rise to be huge in terms of a legal settlement. There were some attorneys interested in my case but my initial discussion with Mike convinced me to have a meeting.
After meeting Michael his professional approach impressed me but there was a personal aspect that made a difference to me. As time went on with our case, I became confident my wife and I made the correct decision to go with Michael's law firm.
His staff was always responsive and we had guidance to navigate the process. Ultimately there was a settlement and MIchael's office always remained in touch as time went on.

I hired michael carner to represent me in injuries i sustained from falling down faulty steps outside a residence in the course of my work. Since this was a personal injury case and also a workers compensation case it was imperative that i needed micheal carner to represent me with his vast experience in all assests of the law.
Micheal carner was very professional and diligent in my case. He used all resources available to him and was very conscientious to make my case a successful one including gathering and interviewing important witnesses, scheduling doctor visits, handling all communication that was necessary, proper documentation on court paperwork, court appearances etc.

I was referred to Susanne when looking for an lawyer to handle the sale of my retail sales and service business. I had engaged a different lawyer previously and the sale did not take place, though no fault of the attorney. But I am able to make a comparison and Susanne was so much more tuned in to what I wanted, why I was selling and truly looked out for my best interest. I had a distal radius fracture in 2013. I generally would not pursue representation, but this time decided to. I was tired of the right thing not being done and having to face grueling consequences. I reached out to the Firm a former high school classmate Partners with. I believe in ethic, and continuity of allegiance. Jason Frament took our personal injury case approximately a year and a half ago. Prior to that it had been with a very well known heavy hitters personal injury firm. They had our case for 3 years and did nothing. We never received 1 piece of correspondence or a phone call. Any attempts to find out how our case was progressing were on our part. Finally we were referred to Mr. Frament and his firm. Our questions were answered and the outcome of our case discussed. Phone calls were always returned. I was charged with a DWI, the cops said I was drunk, but I wasn't. Chris was able to have the charges dismissed after hearings. Last week my company needed legal advice with an issue that could have easily gotten out of hand. I was recommended to Mr. Fremer’s firm by my uncle who has also been a client of the firm.
