I wish I could give this place a 0 star. Sadly it isn’t an option. Sebastian worked on my family’s landlord/tenant case and he never even showed up to court. You want a lawyer who doesnt send the correct and proper court papers, you found your guy. I really wish I could give him 0 stars had to hire another lawyer after Sebastian’s “2 month case “ is now over 2 years. Thanks again Sebastian, you didn’t do anything for us. 2 months in it felt like he was working for my tenant and not for me.

Middle of a tax audit and I was so over my head. The auditor was pretty mean and kept getting more and more aggressive and I was getting super scared of jail or tons of taxes I would never be able to pay back. I called Delia Law the next day and hired them on the spot. Ms. Delia contacted my auditor that day and provided an immediate status to me. She had it under control quickly. I gave a 1 star due to me and my moms feeling of being defrauded to gain money from a property you didn’t have the right to take money from and only until you forced me to move by selling the property because you didn’t confront the signers of your contract you made from the breadwinner who had control of the assets in question before calling me and offering to buy a property for me and put the deed without any cash on hand into a irrevocable trust. He then put my mom through hell. And has since left the family and his responsibilities. You then changed the premise by forcing a sale instead of making sure the grantors paid their property tax as per NY state law. i was left completely blindsided by the rules and did not know enough then to make a good judgement nor should i have been put in that position. Now that property has since doubled in value, and i have moved to a place comfortable for me with money that belonged to me to repurchase another property which now i own and have the deed to. I was not responsible to pay the property taxes on the irrevocable trust. I feel completely taken advantage of and robbed a large portion of my inheritance. Even tho I thanked you when i didn’t know what was going on at the time…i the beneficiary paid you from my inheritance money when i didn’t make any contracts or agreements with you i am simply the beneficiary. I now fully own my property here in maine i was dragged all over creation and stolen from from you collecting your fees from the trust verses peter cannova. I feel it is your duty to confront peter and be refunded the money due to me that belongs to me.

I had a difficult time communicating with Tracey. Specifically, I asked her to "clarify" why the final bill was more than "twice" the estimate she gave. Her response was "I will put down my pen" if you do not pay. No clarification. In fact her response is against the code of ethics for the New York Bar which advocates resolving disputes "amicably". Tracey was not resolving disputes "amicably" in this instance. In fact, she is often less than "amicable", and unprofessional, if she feels challenged.
As well, her office "makes mistakes". For example, I have the same documents notarized "twice" because they "expired". The reason they "expired" is because we were missing a Certificate of Death. I expect Tracey to be on top of required documentation and not come up "short" the last minute.
Bottom line, the transaction took six months because of Tracey's lack of attention to details (such as the missing Certificate of Death). To rub salt on the wound, she charged more than twice the estimate because it took "so long" to close.
Do not recommend.

Definitely a lawyer with experience.. not a bad lawyer… just an awful human. Once understood there was no money just technically teamed up with opposition missing to communicate crucial information that I’m still struggling with the consequences. I had other lawyers after her, unfortunately ended up representing myself cause unable to sustain the legal fees till court assigned me one. Every lawyer I had after her did much better communicating and explaining the process. Overall I really picked her cause she was adhering to a plan my insurance was offering. If you are short on money keep shopping around.. she won’t do any good for you. It’s a joke people with these principals are supposed to represent justice.
