Dear Joseph Sullivan, I am truly disappointed in your representation in our Father's claim. It's been 14 years since your firm has had our Father's claim. Our father has been deceased for years. We ask for updates but you have refused to speak to us. It's been 2 years since we heard from you. Our Father may not be a priority to you but he is definitely a priority to us. I'm very disappointed we really expected more from your firm. 14 years to process a claim is unheard of. And we still waiting. This is truly disgraceful. And the unprofessionalism you have displayed is so disgraceful. A claim that takes only 2 years we still waiting now 14 years. Our father before he passed, had put his trust in your firm. The least you can do is respect him enough to honor him.

I have been using diamond law group since 2018, for numerous real estate transactions, and they have always been organized, prompt, and customer first oriented.
I happen to also be a mortgage loan officer, so I have worked with many many companies professionally on a day to day basis but I always go back to Diamond Law Group for my personal real estate transactions.
If you need their services, the only mistake would be not calling them. Their quick responses are shocking in a day and age where other companies leave you asking for a follow-up.

Several years ago I suffered an unfortunate accident while traversing the streets of NYC. The incident resulted in severe injuries that landed me in a hospital emergency room in excruciating pain and in a cast for several months thereafter, and a plethora of doctors appointments and follow up visits. The accident definitely limited my ability in getting around and had life long effects that I will now have to bare as a result of the negligence imposed by third parties. Had it not been for the Lawyers at Friedman Levy, specifically Charles Green who was relentless and dedicated in seeing me through a vindication, I don’t know where I’d be. Not a very good law firm you speak to a very knowledgeable very intelligent person at first and then you get stuck with another attorney that does not fully handle the situation properly. Then adds fees can't show up on time and does not do exactly what you asked from the first point of contact before the retainer was even placed. They ask for more money much like trying to hire a contractor you hire I'm thinking they're going to do the work and then when they get to start the work they claim they need more money. Even though it was claimed in the beginning exactly what was needed.

This is hands down the most disreputable, unprofessional, shady law firm that I have ever encountered in my life. Over a month ago I contacted them about handling my moms estate who passed away a few years ago without a will. My brothers mishandled the estate and I was trying to get it taken care of with the help of a lawyer given the complicated nature of the case. So every other day for over a month, their law clerk, Zachary Crosby (who also recently received his law degree) was going back and forth with me working the case to try and see where we are at before we get started. He gave me a quote as to how much it would be for their firm to represent me to close the estate but was unsure of the cost of potential litigation. At one point he suggested I pay them a one time fee of 750 dollars so he could get enough information for me to determine if moving forward was in my best interest. The entire time he kept pushing me to start the case so they could move forward, so I outlined a plan and said I wanted to reach out to my brothers first. I did and then came back to him to set up an initial consult and start the case and he said ok let me get back to you by the end of the day. I did not hear back from him for over 3 days, so I reach out again and he again ignored me. A few days later he responded back only after I emailed him and said I would call the office and talk to someone else. He tells me we are set up for the consultation next week with Megan Conroy and then tells me the next day, woops there was a miscommunication and Megan said they cant represent me. He never actually talked to a real lawyer at the firm about representing me and when he did they were not interested and his initial response was to ignore me and hope I would go away. He wasted 5 weeks of my time, tried to con me out of 750 bucks, disrespected the memory of my mother and completely ruined my case because now my brothers know what I am doing and they are going to block my attempts. Not to mention the fact that this is a difficult and depressing situation to deal with and now I have to do it all over again. I do not put this solely on the law clerk, I put this on the entire firm and especially the senior members because if nothing else they hired this shady, incompetent, mediocre individual and they are responsible not only for the behavior of their employees but also the training of their employees. I have worked with dozens of lawyers over the years on a multitude of different issues and I have never encountered anything like this. Welcome to the United States of Mediocrity. This is what happens when you lower the standards of education over and over again for decades. I will be reporting the firm to the attorney disciplinary committee as all the correspondences were done via email and I have all the emails and they had no right to mislead me and misrepresent their position. More importantly though, I wanted to leave a review and let people know to stay away from this firm. How bad a firm is this? They messed up my plans and ruined my case and did not even get paid for it. If they cannot handle their business and look out for their own interests, how competent do you think they are that they are going to be able to look out for yours? They do not care about you or your family, they are just a bunch of low level manipulative con artists. Think about that and save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else.

I own a business on Long Island and have had a lot of experience with attorneys - all kinds from LI to the City. In my opinion, Ms. Lawston is extremely intelligent, professional and a great probate litigation attorney. She saved the Estate thousands of dollars with her expertise. She found issues, litigated them and our adversary settled because they had no choice. Its easy to write a negative review especially if you loose the case but that is not usually the fault of the attorney but because you have no legal recourse. Lawston's fees were more then reasonable and her legal services were exceptional. I highly recommend her firm!!!

Last year I was in the middle of a four year battle with my sister who was challenging our father's Will / Trust. Suddenly my lawyer passed away due to a tragic accident, and I needed to find new counsel. I did a search for lawyers with expertise in settling Will / Trust / Estates. I viewed several websites and when I came upon Ms Rosenthal's I knew I had struck gold. I learned of her thirty years of practice, and that her peers gave her outstanding marks, and clients gave her excellent reviews. I also learned that Deborah was past president, and current vice-president of N.Y. Women's Bar Association, and I was further impressed by her community service. I called Deborah, explained my predicament, and was relieved to hear her compassion, understanding, and optimism to reach a settlement which would honor the intention of my father's Last Will. After our first meeting, in which I gave her the four years of documents, Deborah quickly formulated a proposed settlement.

She gave us excellent information regarding Anthony's background, personality and his knowledge of the elder care law which is what we were looking for. Mr. Gabriele, (Nick, as we were quickly on a first-name basis) saved me $2,500 upon my first visit with him. As we were initially consulting, I took a phone call from my realtor who informed me that the sellers of a home I desperately wanted needed me to come up on my bid. A bit panicky, I blurted out , "Okay, $5,000". Nick said to me, "No. Offer $2,500", so I did. My bid was accepted! My wife saw their add and decided to call I was skeptical. Lots of paperwork to fill out and evidence to submit but after almost three long years she received a significant settlement + secondary insurance for her 9/11 Illness (Co-pays). BM takes a 10% fee the rest is yours and tax free. Not sure how much BM did but I'm sure they were working in the background. If you qualify don't expect a settlement in a few months it takes years assuming all your paperwork is in order. They probably have 1000s of clients so don't expect monthly updates.
