Middle of a tax audit and I was so over my head. The auditor was pretty mean and kept getting more and more aggressive and I was getting super scared of jail or tons of taxes I would never be able to pay back. I called Delia Law the next day and hired them on the spot. Ms. Delia contacted my auditor that day and provided an immediate status to me. She had it under control quickly. For several years my family used Gregory Piede for elder care concerns and legal advice and documents. What we found was that Mr Piede delegates most if not all work to his assistants, does not take personal interest nor track details, and is highly neglectful in providing billing documentation. In the case of our dad, it cost thousands more than it should have. We could never recommend him to others.

We hired Mr. Piede in October of 2020. We brought our father up from Florida. My parents started the process of poa's living wills and having a trust but that was back in 2010. We needed someone we could trust and help us to get ready for the medicaid process. Tiffany was awesome!!! She was right on point. Never too busy to answer a question or even the same question a few times. They got all the information and paperwork ready for when my dad was ready to go into a home. My dad went into a home in March and in April he was approved. If it wasn't for the whole team I am not sure where my dad and my family would be. Thank you for making a emotional time go smoothly. It’s taken me too long to do this but I found Mr. Piede and his law firm in 2019 when I needed to update my mother’s power of attorney and get her Medicaid ready in a relatively short time. Greg and his staff did an amazing job on both counts. I can’t recommend this law firm highly enough. Thank you Greg and staff!

Paul is a competent lawyer, but gave up on my case. The judge gave us 30 days to be creative on a plan to get my Pistol permit back. Paul did not contact me for 6 months and then finally replied to my emails. I have all the emails saved, including the unanswered ones. Paul wanted me to go out and perform tasks that were against the judges orders. The judge wanted a potential plan and the judge wanted to review and sign off on. Paul refused to work with me on a plan. It has now been 14 months after my hearing and Paul hasn't done anything for me. Not even writing the judge to explain any delay or explanation of where the case stands on our end. I wouldn't recommend him.

Working work Paul and his associates was hassle free. They made arrangements to work with the state of Illinois to resolve an issue that would have required my traveling to Chicago. The issue was resolved quickly and did not require my appearing in court.

I found Ms. Richards to be highly unprofessional, highly unethical and highly prejudicial in the execution of my parent's estate.
In my opinion, resorting to threats and bullying in an attempt to intimidate a particular beneficiary is beneath the conduct you would otherwise expect from a member of the Bar Association.
To be clear, I was not "unhappy with my parent's estate", I was shocked by Ms. Richard's behavior.
Her handling of the estate relative to administration and advice given was deplorable, and in no way represented what my parents would have wanted. If you're in the market for an estate attorney that you can trust to do the right thing upon your passing, I recommend that you look elsewhere.
I would not have even given Ms. Richards a "1 star" review, but Google doesn't accept anything less.

Tried to make arrangements with Patricia Powis concerning LTC. Spoke to her initially with a response we will contact you. Did she contact you?
I got only one email stating that she was busy. Tried calling many times after that and still no response or follow up.
If she can't even do this then what kind of service would I expect? I don't recommend this lawyer.
There are plenty of good ones out there and she obliviously does not make a good impression.
Maybe she was good a few years back since her reviews are 3 years ago, but not now.

This is hands down the most disreputable, unprofessional, shady law firm that I have ever encountered in my life. Over a month ago I contacted them about handling my moms estate who passed away a few years ago without a will. My brothers mishandled the estate and I was trying to get it taken care of with the help of a lawyer given the complicated nature of the case. So every other day for over a month, their law clerk, Zachary Crosby (who also recently received his law degree) was going back and forth with me working the case to try and see where we are at before we get started. He gave me a quote as to how much it would be for their firm to represent me to close the estate but was unsure of the cost of potential litigation. At one point he suggested I pay them a one time fee of 750 dollars so he could get enough information for me to determine if moving forward was in my best interest. The entire time he kept pushing me to start the case so they could move forward, so I outlined a plan and said I wanted to reach out to my brothers first. I did and then came back to him to set up an initial consult and start the case and he said ok let me get back to you by the end of the day. I did not hear back from him for over 3 days, so I reach out again and he again ignored me. A few days later he responded back only after I emailed him and said I would call the office and talk to someone else. He tells me we are set up for the consultation next week with Megan Conroy and then tells me the next day, woops there was a miscommunication and Megan said they cant represent me. He never actually talked to a real lawyer at the firm about representing me and when he did they were not interested and his initial response was to ignore me and hope I would go away. He wasted 5 weeks of my time, tried to con me out of 750 bucks, disrespected the memory of my mother and completely ruined my case because now my brothers know what I am doing and they are going to block my attempts. Not to mention the fact that this is a difficult and depressing situation to deal with and now I have to do it all over again. I do not put this solely on the law clerk, I put this on the entire firm and especially the senior members because if nothing else they hired this shady, incompetent, mediocre individual and they are responsible not only for the behavior of their employees but also the training of their employees. I have worked with dozens of lawyers over the years on a multitude of different issues and I have never encountered anything like this. Welcome to the United States of Mediocrity. This is what happens when you lower the standards of education over and over again for decades. I will be reporting the firm to the attorney disciplinary committee as all the correspondences were done via email and I have all the emails and they had no right to mislead me and misrepresent their position. More importantly though, I wanted to leave a review and let people know to stay away from this firm. How bad a firm is this? They messed up my plans and ruined my case and did not even get paid for it. If they cannot handle their business and look out for their own interests, how competent do you think they are that they are going to be able to look out for yours? They do not care about you or your family, they are just a bunch of low level manipulative con artists. Think about that and save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else.

Beware Sharon in collusion with my wife’s attorney miss represented real estate holdings and my rights under the law. My ex is by far the charming of us two. Due to chronic migraines I’m not that sharp but I taped our conversations. I vetted transcripts of her statements with an attorney who agreed to the above but said she pays her dues the bar will do nothing. And so it goes I’m handicapped and can no longer work and my wife got 250k more than the provides.

He’s supposed to be my Trustee for my Wife and my Bankruptcy! There was a few things that was on the forms that wasn’t not removed in Court. It has also affected my Credit and Debit, i’m still getting emails saying i still owe money?? I’m not sure if it’s Leberman ir Cardinale Law Firm in Cicero NY!!
