Never be a victim of any business that causes you any harm. This law firm and their and advocates and attorneys are committed to get you the help that you need. They were so kind to me and provided me an advocate to get me through. Someone that I can talk to someone that became very dear to me. I can't say enough about this firm they were there for me and followed every step with me to get me the care and get me through the tragedy that I experienced. Skip and his assistant are unprofessional and wasted my time. They didn’t remember facts of case or even the conversations around it. Set up multiple appointments which they cancelled last minute. Highly recommend seeking other counsel.

So far he's an excellent attorney. Spoke with him directly, he spent some time gathering. Info on my initial call himself. Scheduled in person consult within a week during that phone call. Left me with some research to complete to further my position. So far he is right to the point, gets things done; a roll up your sleeves and plow through it kinda lawyer. Consulting Ethan Tidwell was an absolute godsend during my complex divorce case that involved the nightmare complexities of custody issues, finances, and an abusive/vindictive ex-spouse who falsely spread accusations about me during the divorce in an attempt to secure sole custody and leave the state with my children. And prevent my children from having a relationship with their father. Whenever Ethan was available for consultation, he was consistent in providing extremely valuable, honest, and reliable information. I was impressed in how I could ask Ethan any question and he always had an answer right away backed by extensive knowledge, objective facts, and a strong understanding of the inner workings of family court. He is also able to remember facts well and can regurgitate granular details from our conversations of months prior. This gave me confidence in speaking to him about my case. His guidance helped me in not only the legal aspects of my case but also in maintaining a positive bearing during what was one of the most emotionally-difficult periods of my life. Ethan has a good grasp of knowing what is important and what isn't, which often provided relief for me on many occasions when I was overstressed out about something. He gave solid guidance prior to my custody/fact finder evaluation. Ethan was always available in some form or fashion, which is rare with busy attorneys. If Ethan was in trial or mediation, he would always make a transparent attempt to let me know what he was doing whenever he was available to do so. And after he would reach back out, which speaks to his ability to juggle many cases at once. I have personally witnessed how he works hard around the clock. I remain more than impressed in how he continued to provide support for my case despite sometimes having to travel long distances within the state of California to represent his clients in other counties/jurisdictions as not all of his cases remain solely in Los Angeles. Additionally, Ethan is a family man and somehow has found a balance between being an active father and supporting me during my divorce. To me, this speaks to his time management, character, and credibility of being an attorney who cares despite all that life will throw at one in their personal life. Worst lawyers ever. They let a whole year go by and never sent my husband to the doctors or anything. They had my email , his email, my number , his number , including our home address and we’d call for updates and they’d always say everything is going great if they needed anything they’d call us. After a year they dropped our case for “no communication”. And then told us they had the wrong number on file. Now we’re struggling to fight a car accident case because of how long it has been.

I want to take a moment to thank the entire staff at the Daniel J. O'Neill law office in SLO town for their 2+ year work handling my neck injury claim. When I was involved in what I thought was a typical rear end accident in 2019, I didn’t realize my neck complaints would persist and worsen over time. It got to the point where conservative measures were not providing any relief but I had gotten to the point of just accepting that the pain I had was something I would need to get used to. After an initial consultation with his law office, Mr. O’Neill surprising offered to file a claim on my behalf. Not only did he offer to represent me, he also provided a different perspective regarding pain clinic procedures that were not previously considered. After several unsuccessful procedures locally in the Bay Area, he referred me to Dr. Jordon, a Pain Specialist in Santa Monica, that was able to identify the source of injury after specific diagnostic testing. It took approximately a year of procedures and tests, but eventually we were able to find some relief and resume a more normal lifestyle with the family. During this whole time, I never inquired about how much this case might be worth since my main intention was getting pain relief. Throughout the whole process of collecting records, submitting forms and discovery, the entire office staff was patient, respectful and thorough. It was clear that the behind the scenes work of the case was extensive. Mr. O’Neill and the support staff spent countless hours with preparation for our deposition, the IME and progressive negotiations with the insurance provider. In the end, with much diligence and savvy negotiations, I received a settlement beyond any of my expectations. I understand the settlement will not cure my neck issue, but it does provide some peace of mind for covering future care and future needs of my family. With much gratitude, I want to send my kindest wishes to the legal team of Daniel J. O’Neill. Your efforts and results are extraordinary!

After consultation, Mr. O'Neill agreed to take on my car accident case. He gave me instruction on what information he needed me to gather for him; police report, hospital and medical records etc. and I got busy doing just that. I called him back to explain that the hospital could not forward my records for a month to which he replied that it was fine. Just after I received the records and had compiled all the required information, I received an email from Mr. O'Neill's assistant that he was too busy and would no longer be helping me. I was devastated! I emailed and phoned him once, imploring him to please help me. If he was too busy at the time, i was willing to wait, but he still refused. i had only spoken to him a few times initially and the one other time regarding the wait for hospital records, so i wonder if it was not for some other reason than just being 'too busy' as I was willing to wait. I had spent much effort and money to gather all my information and records together ready to send to him. If Mr. O'Neill had indeed become too busy, then I feel it would have been respectful and more appropriate to refuse to represent the new cases rather than refuse my case that he had accepted a month prior. after my initial consult with Mr. O'Neill, i felt so hopeful and thought I had found a good, caring person to help me. Words cannot express the emotional devastation I felt when he 'dumped' me as it was during a very tragic and difficult time in my life. I feel Mr. O'Neill treated me disrespectfully and uncaringly.

I Would avoid this lawfirm! I contacted this law firm and was informed that the lawyers were currently at lunch. I was advised to fill out a request for a follow-up on their website. Subsequently, I received an email stating that they were not interested in taking on my case. It is important to note that they did not inquire about any details or specifics regarding my situation. As a result, I reached out to another attorney who demonstrated a genuine interest in my case by asking relevant questions and demonstrating a clear understanding of the matter. This attorney is now actively pursuing my case.
