Steve Pesso has been my attorney for nearly 10 years. I’m one of the tough divorce cases that was tricky to start with, go through, and has lingering issues due to a textbook narcissistic ex. From the beginning, Steve has demonstrated great insight to psychology of personality and remains calm in spite of family law’s notorious roller coaster rides. He prepared my case for trial with remarkable detail and during the trial, told the story of my life which (without going into detail) made it crystal clear to the judge to rule in favor of me. The way he prepped me prior to trial was key as well, as that translated to me knowing how to handle the opposing counsel’s purposeful digs aimed at getting under my skin and trying to make me lose my cool. He is grounded and affable with the opposing counsel and treats the other party with dignity and respect. This is important because it diffuses that go-to drama so many divorce attorneys rely on. Steve tells me the way it is. Sometimes that really irks me, but he does not make promises he can’t deliver. I know he has my back and I’ve been able to truly count on him during the worst times of my life.
