I went to David's law firm to speak with his partner first, and his partner referred me to David. We hit it off immediately; he listens well, makes no assumptions until he has heard everything and takes notes so his questions are succinct and to the point. My issue was with a rogue HOA president who just wanted to make certain homeowners lives miserable. David was prompt and thorough in all of his correspondence to the opposing attorney and made sure he followed up with me weekly, even if there was no movement. I really appreciated the fact that he let me proof all of the letters to the opposing attorney, and took my edits/additions to heart. David was able to not only bring closure to the matter with the opposing attorney but made sure all of the false claims brought against me (with fines attached) were wiped clean from my HOA ledger so I was once again a homeowner in good standing. I was grateful for David's work and would hire him again if needed.

I've worked with a number of lawyers in the past, many of whom I've felt were counting hours or simply too busy to work with me in a meaningful way. In other circumstances, they were not knowledgeable enough on the topics I had issues on, and I didn't feel comfortable with them. With David I've had none of these issues. He's always extremely patient with servicing my issues, and has a very good understanding of a broad variety of legal concerns that I bring to his desk.

As a new Board of Directors of a condo association, we were referred to David Kim. We have and continue to sort out a number off issues. David has worked swiftly to solve the most urgent. His legal expertise, advise, compassion and honesty are impressive. His communications skills and fast turn to issues and emails has been extremely helpful. I wholeheartedly recommend him to any HOA/Condo Association looking for a good lawyer and litigant.
