I hired Jacob to represent my son on probation early release and a ticket. He answered all our calls immediately and had great results in both cases. I wish I would have met Jacob when my son was originally charged for what was supposed to be a misdemeanor and because we got a lazy, incompetent and unprofessional lawyer my son ended up with a felony. I hired Jacob Cohen to represent my significant other in a very complicated fraud case. On June 21, 2019, I contacted Mr. Cohen, who responded immediately. I spoke to him about the situation and he was sympathetic and immediately told me what to do. He hit the floor running reaching out the the authorities etc, as they wanted to speak with My son. On July 24th, My son turned himself in. He was being arrested and taken into custody due to false allegations. I was referred to Jacob by an attorney that I had worked with and who I highly respected, he spoke very highly of Jacob. The false allegations were scary serious. He was honest of what we could expect, and due to an incredible Arthur motion hearing he filed, My son was released from prison today (August 9, 2019), and the charges were dropped. When he tells you, "I am a good attorney", BELIEVE him. He is not lying... He was very good at being in constant communication, and very patient with me. Jacob was great with my parent who was having anger management issues and got into some trouble. He understands what it takes to deal with an elderly person who finds themselves on the wrong side of the law. I would highly recommend him.
