I was referred to Howard Krooks by my attorney in Massachusetts. I need assistance in probating a relatives estate in Florida. I couldn't be happier with the services I received from the entire staff. They took the time to explain the process, they provided all the documentation and always explained where we were during the entire process. I would recommend Howard and his staff to anybody who asked me about needing legal assistance.

I have a son with special needs & I wanted to secure his future by doing a Special Needs Trust and Will. Mr. Krooks was extremely helpful in guiding me through the entire process & I now have peace of mind knowing it is done. My mother lived in Florida and my wife and I lived over 600 miles/11 hour drive away. After she died, we feared that in order to settle her estate, we would have to make multiple trips to Florida to sign documents and make court appearances, etc. However, Mr. Krooks and his wonderful assistant, Ms. Rubin, performed their services for us by e-mail, phone and U.S. mail--not once did we have to return to Florida to settle her estate! We used this law firm in 2017-2018 to handle the rather complex settlement of my mother's trust which dated back to 1995 in Florida. We needed to do this all from Texas where we live and where my mother had lived for the last 10 years of her life. We were able to manage everything, including contact of and communication with long, lost beneficiaries, from our home through phone conversations and email. It was all done carefully to protect everyone concerned and within a reasonable time frame.

Howard has been our lawyer for the past 4 years and he has helped us so much, we will forever be grateful. Being German citizens and living there and having an American mother and grandmother brings a lot of challenges. He has helped us set up a legal and financial system that allowed us to take care of our her, make sure that she is secure and would be able to navigate independently at first and with his and our support later on. After she had passed he helped with every aspect of handling her estate and there was nothing more we could have asked for. There is no one I would recommend more to work with.

Their expert guidance, caring and thoughtfulness can"t be overstated. We gathered and/or completed the many forms and documents required by the state of Florida, sent all to Howard Krooks and staff and within a few months all was done and our mother was situated and being cared for in a Medicaid approved nursing home. During the entire process, their responsiveness to our questions were immediate and thorough. Our family highly recommends this exceptional firm.

As many of us ultimately discover, dealing with a parent's financial affairs and life decisions is never an easy thing to do. Howard Krooks is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate and responsive. His calm, professional demeanor makes him easy to work with and instills confidence in the task at hand. Howard's staff is also knowledgeable, friendly and hard working. Everyone was just as helpful and kind when my father passed and it was time to unwind the trusts that were set up. Should an opportunity present itself I would certainly hire Howard again.
