Tom has worked with me for over 10 years. I have also worked with two large firms that advertise during that time, but always returned to Tom. 2 years after my divorce in which I was represented by Tom, my income decreased significantly. I hired a large firm who told me that I could have my alimony changed, then they changed lawyers on me and the new lawyer told me I couldn't. I ended up unrepresented in court and the judge took everything I had left - my retirement funds - and allowed me to keep less than half of my income. My GF ran into Tom and told him what was going on with me. Tom remembered my case - from 5 years ago at that point! He recalled wording in the divorce decree that allowed the alimony to be changed. We filed for alimony reduction and for custody of my son. We mediated my alimony from $5000 to $2200 AND I got custody of my son. I have found Tom's billing practices to be more than fair. The large firms find some way to "review your case" and bill your credit card every month. With these firms the main lawyer advertises greatness, bills for greatness, and you get a lawyer just out of law school. Tom knows the judges and what to expect from them. He knows the local lawyers. I would never use another lawyer for a family law issue. TOM REMEMBERED DETAILS OF MY CASE AFTER 5 YEARS THAT THE LARGE FIRM "EMPLOYEE?" COULD NOT UNDERSTAND OR RESOLVE WITH THE CASE SITTING IN FRONT OF HER! I had given up. Tom saved me by remembering details of my case 5 years after I was divorced. He is outstanding.
