I utilized Tom Gill's services for a recent divorce. They gave me excellent advice on all matters pertaining to the case and I could not be happier with the results of the teams diligence in ensuring that my best interests were taken care of. Jana was very responsive to any question that I had and had my paperwork filed before I could even make it home through Brandon traffic. Lisa was excellent help as well, providing advice for a matter I wasn't seeing clearly in the state of mind that divorce brings. Overall an excellent experience and I wouldn't go anywhere else for any of my legal needs. Thanks Tom and crew!

There are additional updates since I originally posted the review below five years ago. No matter - the comments remain the same. Well, almost; the exception is that Jana (the outstanding paralegal) is now an attorney. She took over my case from Tom for three separate court filings. I cannot put into words how great Jana and the team at the Law Office of Thomas Gill have been. You will not find a harder-working, responsive, knowledgeable, personable, and genuine group. In the end, it was their efforts that helped me to reach my ideal end state eventually. See below for my last review. Again, and always, my strongest recommendation. — — — — — I hired Mr. Gill to represent me in what I had hoped would be an amicable dissolution of a 15-year marriage. Unfortunately, that illusion was quickly shattered over the next few months. Fortunately, Mr. Gill (and his outstanding paralegal Jana) remained patient and poised through a contentious divorce. In an environment where emotion often trumps logic, Mr. Gill advised that I stay nice under all circumstances. While not always easy, this was the best course of action. Despite an extreme lack of professionalism from opposing counsel, Mr. Gill was able to guide me through the divorce process, ultimately reaching a settlement that I could live with.

Mr. Gill and his team handled my case very efficiently and quickly! They got everything done, papers served and didn't drop the ball. Tom is is very easy to talk to has a great since of humor and is a straight shooter.

OUTSTANDING! I would highly recommend Tom and his staff. Professional and polite! They make you feel comfortable and secure while going through a difficult process. I never had no luck finding an attorney for myself.Every attorney said I am sorry but I can't help you. In my opinion fl attorneys only want to help people that already have money but no poor people.You can't find any attorney to go to court against the HCSO. They are all afraid. I had a car accident Feb 29/16 and I went online to find a attorney that would help me. It was only with gods help that I found Attorney Tom P. Gill. I am so grateful that his firm wanted to help me and take on my case. I was very lucky. They actually return calls out of a lot of other attorneys I called.I met with Mr Tom Gill and wife Lisa Gill. I could not get over how nice they treated me, just like another person should be treated. That day they took the case I had such a great day. I thanked God for steering me in the right direction. My case took 4 months. Everything went smoothly. I had no problems, no worries and they had done a very good job for me and helped me get a ample amount of money for me from the other insurance company from the driver that caused the accident. Attorney Tom Gill and his wife Lisa are the kind of people you would want for neighbors also. They are good people. They keep in touch with you. They always inform a client of updates and the status of what is going on with your case. In my opinion don't call ANY of the attorneys you see on the commercials. They are horrible attorneys. They won't help you very much, they won't return your calls.....I know from experience. The attorneys on the commercials only use them as right offs on their taxes. A real good attorney Attorney Gill doesn't have to advertise to be a good attorney. Their office is located in Brandon very close to other businesses. You don't have to travel far to find him. Attorney Gill has a nice sense of humor. The first consultation you sit down with him and his wife and he treats you like a close friend not just another client. His staff at the window those young women are so nice. The waiting room is elegant, it looks like a room from a mansion. In my opinion you really should pick Attorney Gill you won't be sorry.

The Team you want in your corner: experience was professional and beneficial: let me help paint the picture- my legal matters were two fold, personal finances and mortgage related: I am a Veteran, singe Dad, & a small business owner. Tom and Lisa Gill, with kudos to Jana their paralegal extraordinaire, each took personal interest in helping me, protecting my family. Provided sound legal advice and more importantly, demonstrated several times in our relationship the MEANS to SWIFTLY EXECUTE the legal transactions required for MY protection. There were a couple of bumps in the road, but "keeping your eye on the prize" mindset is always good advice. With the bumps, came EXTRAORDINARY SERVICE AND COMMITMENT by their team to resolve and protect me, to protect my interests.

I was in a tough spot and Tom really helped me out of it. I'm so glad that I decided to use his services because otherwise, I think my outcome would have been a lot less favorable.
