This attorney will over bill and delay your case. Her general manger is her husband. She will have her husband perform work on a case such as appraise you house and/or perform comps for your home. All billed separately without the client knowing it is her husband doing the work. She will wait till the last minute to prepare for a hearing if at all. She hires her friends to do fiduciary duties for fees without informing the client of possible conflicts. Ingrid will use up retainers just during the internal case handling. When she moved she had to file paper work for each case and billed the clients for each filing even though it was her that caused the notices to be filed the client had to pay for the notice that were filed even though there forms were all the same expect for the case heading. All were billed the same amount. I would say 75% of the good reviews that are posted are from friends and employees that she either asked (friends) or told to post (employees) good reviews. Before hiring this attorney read all reviews. Do a little reasearch on the names. Some are from clients, probably the easy and quick cases. The complicated cases are the one Ingrid will stumble and drag-out for all she can. Just speak with her and you will see she really does not complete her thoughts and expects you to. Ingrid does this on purpose just so she can say you said that not her. Do you research or you will have no one to blame but yourself. I have personal knowledge of the inter-workings of this office.

Ingrid was absolutely amazing and walked me thought the process in a no nonsense way to help me divorce my "wasband" the fastest way possible. Two days after mediation I got the call at 3:25pm, I was officially free. I hope no one has to go through a divorce but if you do BLG will help make the best of it for you!

I don't know about the two people who left negative evaluations but Ingrid is 7 out of 5 stars truly. I suspect they had unreasonable expectations and/or had just poor cases to begin with. On my two occasions which I needed Brandon Legal Group's services because of my ridiculous ex-wife, I had wonderful representation. My cases were trying to say the least as my ex went out of her way to create problems for everyone involved. I too had my moments wherein I lost patience with the family law courts speed. Ingrid stood by me and encouraged me personally and professionally. Ingrid, Luke, Rocky, and staff put together an awesome case that we won by a landslide. My ex-wife still resents them. I too work in the legal profession for almost 25 years now so I know my in the legal system better than most regular people. I can surmise Ingrid and Luke in this one statement. I hope never to be on the opposite side of the table from them in any case.

Even though my case did not have the outcome I wanted I would still recommend Ingrid and everyone at her firm to anyone seeking representation. Ingrid is a very aggressive and compassionate attorney and not only did she fight very hard for me she also cared and that came through every time I met with her. I really appreciate everything she did for me and if I ever need an attorney in the future she will be the first person I call.

Ingrid represented me in my divorce. She was so supportive and so caring. It was a tough time, nothing made sense but she sometimes literally held my hand and helped me get through it. Don't get me wrong she is one tough cookie and she will go into court and kick butt but she understands that sometimes clients need someone who can provide a shoulder to cry on. She is definitely crusty on the outside and soft and squishy on the inside. I highly recommend her and refer people to her often.

We had hearing after hearing over things that had no benefit to myself or my case. I had to go months without seeing my child because that wasn't her priority. She then let my case set for several months when my ex was trying to settle and actually give me a decent deal. During an incredibly difficult time she made it worse. In the end I got screwed royally and would have been better off doing it on my own.

I hired Ingrid Hooglander from Brandon Legal group to defend me in a divorce case but instead she was dishonest and billed for services not performed. She even put a lien on my house and had the nerve to charge an exorbitant fee for putting the lien on my house. She billed me for services which have no benefit to my case. She hindered the progress of my dissolution of marriage as a way to get more money out of me.

I hired Ms. Hooglander to represent me in a post-modification child support case. Although post-mods are time-consuming - I was assured all through the process of the status of my case. I have had the opportunity to utilize Ms. Hooglander's services for an update to my child support arrangement. She was very straightforward and made sure I understood the entire process. My original divorce settlement from 8 years ago didn't take into consideration a lot of different circumstances that exist now. Although the entire process can be very emotional, she has a very good demeanor. She allows her clients to explain their troubles (even rant a little), and then figure out the best scenarios while taking the "emotional" side out of the legal issues at hand. I can see how this would be a tedious process for a family law attorney, but Ingrid did this with both patience and empathy. I am pleased with the outcome of the case and would definitely recommend Ingrid for any family law case.
